StarFire

The she-wolf pads into Pike's Lake terra. She raised her maw to scent the air. Blood stained her muzzle and lips from killing the cow in the Cow Pasture, and she had some scrapes and bruises. That mutt had been a fool...she should've killed him...heh. If the human came out pasture and saw both dog and dead cow, he'd get in trouble...

Licking her teeth at the thought, she focused on the lake. A group of deer where drinking, she noticed. She crouched low, tail waving in the air to attract their attention from her teeth to her tail, and lunged at a doe's neck.

*Deer*

The scent of blood alerted them of StarFire's approach. They turned quickly to spot her and threw their short tails in the air as a warning to their fellows in the herd. When the wolfess lunged, the deer snorted in warning again and wheeled around to run. StarFire just barely missed her target, and the deer began to dash away. You can continue to chase them or scent the air for other potential prey.

When the deer fled, StarFire ran after them. She lunged at a doe...

*Deer*

The deer were very swift and nimble. The targeted doe sprung out of the way to evade StarFire's lunge. None of the deer seem to be wounded or debilitated in anyway. Slowly, they begin to pull away from you, heading along the lake shore.
