Kahota
The thick form of a dusty grey wolf filled the space between a clump of trees as he padded into the clearing around the edge of the lake. He padded down slowly to the edge of the lake, avoiding the thick patches of slippery cold mud. Pale yellow eyes scanned the tree line around him as he dipped his maw into the icy waters and lapped up some of the deep blue liquid. After getting his fill he retreated from the water's edge to a soft patch of sunlight. He lay there for a little while, thinking fondly of his new growing pack. But part of him still felt empty, like a hole in his heart that he didn't know how to fill. He needed someone to stand by his side, to help him lead his pack to glory. But who would he find to stand by him, to lead with him in a new pack still trying to get started.
