Oceanic

The young humpback whale fled to the lake. She would not last long in the freshwater, but she had to get away from the Orcas. She hid deep down, coming up to breath less than usual.

Arctic

Arctic soon met up with her daughter. "Stay away from the black and white ones. They drown young whales and eat their tongues. Then they leave their bodies for the seabirds." She said. It sounded like exaggeration, but it was all so true.

Havfeera-Vh'mei

Having returned to the lake, Havfeera was cruising idly along the outlet of the lake when she 'felt' something very large heading her way. Senses tingling with the vibration of the calf's fluke strokes, Havfeera glided deeper, hiding herself amonst the tall strands of water grass that waved at the bottom of the lake. Silently, she circled about the outlet until Oceanic appeared.

Confused at the sight of a humpback in freshwaters, Havfeera kept low and hidden until a larger presence arrived - Arctic. That's when curiousity got the best of her.

Rising up from the bottom, the bull shark circled slowly around the two, keeping a healthy distance from the whales. "Two whales in a lake... I don't believe I've ever heard of such things."

Arctic/Oceanic

Arctic watched Havfeera curiously. "Oh. Hi." She said politely. "We're only here temporarily. There's danger back at the ocean." Her tail moved slowly up and down, keeping balance.

Oceanic squealed to the shark. This one seemed more friendly than Kokos and Madria. "H-Hello..." She said shyly.

Havfeera-Vh'mei

Contemplating the two, Havfeera decided it was best not to attack. She occassionally took on dolphins and porpoises, but even they were troublesome. And Oceanic was already so big; and her mother! Although she didn't have many creatures that she had to fear, these two were deffinitely a duo to respect, given their size and strength.

"By danger, do you mean humans?" She had killed one over the winter, thanks to the wolfess Spirit. She was itching to kill another, but was wary of them at the same time. "Oh, hello to you. I'm Havfeera-Vh'mei. Havfeera for short, if you will." The shark added next, swimming slowly back and forth in front of the two creatures as she spoke.

Arctic || Oceanic

Arctic swam a little closer, but then stopped to show that she was no threat. "Oh, no. Not humans. Orcas. They were preying on my calf." She replied. "It's good to meet you, Havfeera. I'm Arctic, and the young one is Oceanic."

Oceanic smiled, if a whale could smile. "Havfeera! That's a great name!" She said happily. She examined the shark carefully. "Pardon me for being nosy, but what are you?" She felt comfortable around the creature that didn't threaten to eat her.

Robin Hood

Robin hood watched from the edge of the lake "hmm a shark, and to whales..theres a sight" he said to himself. He stared longingly at them and the water, he wished to go back to it, he longed to go back but he just could not bring himselft to. He laid down, still watching them, keeping an eye out. A small tear rolled down his cheek. He sniffed and shook his head "look at you, you old fool, crying over what you can no longer have" he repremanded himself.

Havfeera-Vh'mei

"Orcas" She spat, not liking those creatures much either. While the ones in the Bay weren't big shark-eaters, the ones that roamed the oceans were troublesome now and then. "They are a good reason to flee." Attention was given to Oceanic next, and a shark's version of a smile was given, "I am a Bull Shark. I..." She trailed off as she picked up on distant vibrations. "...I think we have a visitor." Bringing her head up from the water, she focused on eye towards the land and saw a black wolf laying there. Since coming to the Valley, she had made friends with two wolves, and so she had put them off her 'menu' of edible creatures. "Hello there, wolf. What might your name be?"

Robin Hood

Robin Hood stared at her a moment "Robin Hood, and you" he replied, his voice deep and silvery. Next to him was a large pack filled with all sorts of things. A long wooden bow was sticking out of the top.

Havfeera-Vh'mei

"Havfeera-Vh'mei." She replied at length, an eye catching on the pack that was near the wolf. Instantly, she began to get suspicious. She hated humans, and to her, that unatural object screamed of two-leggers. "Hey, can you two see what that wolf has beside him? It looks... humanish..." She whispered to Oceanic and Arctic, before gliding closer to the shore, "Robin Hood, are you new around here?" Whether he had human items with him or not, Havfeera was up for making as many friends as she could here. When it came to humans, you could never have enough friends to help protect you.

Robin Hood

Robin Hood moved his head with her as she came closer, he put one paw over his pack "Not particularly" he replied, he had heard her ask the other about his pack but decided he would not say anything. "why do you ask?"

Havfeera-Vh'mei

Turning her head the other way to view him with her other eye, the shark replied, "Ah, the reason is that I'm not so good with recognizing you canines. You all look the same to me." Again, she looked to the pack, curiousity fighting with suspiscion. Should she ask? No... she'd wait.

"If you are planning on sticking around, would you be interested in a friendship?" Oh, how the other sharks would mock her for making friends with her prey! But the world was changing fast, and one had to adapt to keep up. If that meant making friends of food, she'd do it. And anyway, she was taking a liking to wolves, now that she was seeing them in a new light.

Arctic || Oceanic

Arctic came up to breath, spouting water out of her blow hole. Her eyes focused on the wolf. "Yes...I don't know what it's for, but we'd better be wary of it." She whispered back.

Oceanic too came up to breath, watching Robin Hood carefully.

Robin Hood

Robin Hood watched the other two as they surfaced "oh" he said, looking longingly at the water then over to his pack and back again "I would like to be friends" he said with a small smile.
