Lokk

In all honestly, he felt a bit bad for not being around. Kalaber had invited him into the pack and given him a home, a family, to belong to. But Lokk was frustrated as his position as omega, and felt the need to explore the Valley to a greater extend, and get to know it better.

For months the aged wolf had trekked the Valley high and low, until he was quite familiar with most of it. Now it was time to seek out Kalaber again, and join back up with the pack and his 'family'. The only problem was, Kalaber had settled the pack in a new area. Lokk, not knowing where the new area of residence was, decided to bide his time around the lake before setting off to find his alpha again.

Green orbs inspected the crystal-clear waters of Pike's Lake before he moved in towards the shore. After a moment to sniff at the water, he began to lap it up.

Sliver

And you know now that you never will.

She hadn't returned home with her father and pack. There was no need, no point to do so. She was nearly full grown now, and oh how sad she did look. The cloudy gray female trotted to the Lake, so soft and quiet was she. Then her eyes lifted to see another. She skirted around Lokk, and lapped some of the icy water for herself some ten feet from him. Her gaze would lift to him now and again, with each movement he made her body would tense and she made herself ready to fight or flight. Her fathers teachings. She had begun to mature into a calm, competent adult. Even if she was still an adolescent.

Lokk

Though older in his years now, Lokk was still swift, strong, and keen of senses. Ears swivelled around like radars to pick up on the footfalls of an approaching stranger. Being rather adept at judging others, he felt safe that she meant no harm. In fact, it seemed that she was the one feeling insecure. Catching the little looks she flashed his way, Lokk lifted his head and turned his green eyes towards Silver, a friendly and inviting smile on his slightly graying muzzle, "Nice day, isn't it?" Lokk glanced out at the waters before looking to Silver again. "I'm Lokk." He added after a moment's pause, looking expectantly to Sliver to see if she'd offer her name next.

Sliver

She nearly jumped out of her skin when Lokk actually spoke to her. She normally wasn't this anxious, but she had no clue where she was, nor did she intend on going back to where she had been before. Sliver. She said cautiously. Her eyesh had changed from their puppishness, to a duo colored mix. One eye was a warm, creamy yellow while the other was a bright blue. What are you doing here, Sir? She asked quietly.

Lokk

A nod was given in acknowledgement of the name as he looked curiosly at her two-toned eyes. Not wanting to be rude however, Lokk turned his sights back to the lake for a moment as he responded to her next question, "Just getting a drink of water." The wolf's tail swayed slightly in the wind as he turned once more to look at Sliver, eyes narrowed against a glaring sun, "If you don't mind me asking, you seem a bit nervous? Why is that?"
