Elemental

She moved quickly over the boddy ground, and now and again as her foot got stuck into the mud she'd scowl deeply and pull it out with a sucking sound and soft pop. When she finally reached the lake side, the pearly white female was a hideous shade of speckled brown, with long brown stockings up her legs. She hated being dirty, but you had to do what you had to do. She sat down at the Lake side, and with a moments hesitation she slipped into its icy waters. She bathed for no more then a minute, it was to cold for her liking, before getting out and shaking off. She was still a bit mottled looking, but at least the stockings were gone. She sat down now, and looking very business like and professional, the female raised up her dial and howled, calling to the creatures of the Lake that opposed the Shadow Haunters.

Tekkenal

The weather wasn't quite as warm as he would have liked, but at least all of the ice was gone and things were getting greener again. His health had finally returned, two years after the wolves had helped rid the lake of a polluting human. Tekk didn't know what the chemical was, but it had killed alot of his kind, and he knew he was lucky to have survive it all. If only he had gotten the names of those helpful wolves...

At two and a half feet long and 216 pounds, the alligator snapping turtle did not have much to be afraid of. Instead of displaying his powerful jaws at the approaching wolf, Tekkenal just lay motionless, his massive body and black, jagged shell blending it quite nicely with the rugged rocks around him. A carpet of algae grew on his back, further providing camoflauge to the big reptile.

It wasn't until Elemental began to howl that Tekk blew his cover. "Why must yu disturb my sleep?" He said in a low, rumbling voice that fit his gnarly looks to a tee. There was a strange accent carried in his words, but it was easy enough to understand him, "Human trubles again? Thought we gut rid a' them."

Elemental

The white female nearly jumped out of her skin when the snapping turtle spoke, and in a sharp reprimanding tone she spoke Didn't your mother ever teach you not to sneak up on others? But then a cute little smile did cross her face, and the turtle she did turn to face. My name is Elemental, and I come seeking others. Our valley is in trouble, from a group of beings. They call themselves Shadow Haunters, and they killed my sister. I come here, seeking allies and help. Humans are the least of our worries now. Her smile was gentle and sweet, but this was our actress, this you must remember. She was good at what she did, and changing stories to make it all better.

Tekkenal

If he could have, there would have been a cocky little smile on his giant, beaked faced. His yellow-ringed eyes showed a hinting of a grin as he replied, "Ambushing is m' game." As she began to explain the situation, Tekk grew more serious, though it was hard to see in his solid face. Like the alligators, it was the turtle's eyes that showed his expressions and emotions. "I thught humans were bad... I'd hate ta' be seeing these Shaduw Haunters." The giant snapper was quiet for a moment as he thought about what she said. Who ever these Shadow Haunters were, they needed to be stopped if they were more dangerous than the humans. "Tekkenal-Leukkan is m' name, but ya can call m' Tekk. Dun't knuw what I can du fur ya, but I'll help if I can." Tekk stretched his neck out, inching it closer to Elemental, "I snap uff many a' human fingers 'n tues. Whu ever the Haunters are, I can surely break their bunes jus' as easily." He gave an affirmative nod to his own sentence, "Miss Elemental, I can travel the water ways, and if ya ever need help arund the Lake n' Marsh, ur the creeks, I can help you. Pruvided ya howl lud 'nuff fur m' tu hear ya."

Bob/Calvin/Lily

As they were leaving the Ruins, the family of Oryxes came upon the wolf and turtle. Lily ran to the pair, gasping. "Please help us! Our friend was taken by the Shadow Haunters and they won't let her go! They're going to kill her!" She exclaimed, unaware that Elemental was calling allies. A team that would defeat the Haunters.

"Lily..." Sighed Calvin, walking to her side.

Bob hushed Calvin. "Quiet. I think your sister's on to something."

Tekkenal

The alligator snapping turtle turned his himself around quickly, giant claws scraping over the ground as he lashed his long, spiked tail. He rarely ever went on land, but ever since that chemical had been dumped into the Lake two years back, his skin had not quite been the same. A bit of direct sun seemed to help it more.

"Haunters?" Tekk rumbled quietly in thought, before speaking louder, "I have juined Miss Elemental to be against these Haunters. If they are near watur, I can help you." He replied, looking curiously at the three antelope. In all his long life, he had never seen such creatures as these. "My name is Tekkenal, by the way."

Elemental

She stared at the antelope for a moment then shook her head a bit. They were not food, they were allies. She really should have eaten before doing this. Giving the creatures a smile, she said As my new friend here has stated, my name is Elemental. A new group of wolves have come to the Valley, ones that will help us defeat the Shadow Haunters. We are called the Ancient Guardians. Will you help us? Her eyes held the puppy dog pout, but her voice, oh her voice you could just listen to all day. So soft and gentle, so warm and kind. Could she really be the sister of Hidden Betrayal?

Bob/Calvin/Lily

Lily nodded. "I will fight to the death!" She spat, "I will not rest until I gore every one of them with my horns!" She stomped her hooves as she thought of her friend from the zoo being held captive.

"I'm sure we could aid you in your war." Calvin said, watching his adopted sister. He hadn't seen her so furious in a long time. "We're quite good at fighting. Our kind rarely runs from predators. We take a stand against lions and them."

Bob stepped forward, but didn't say anything. Though the look in his eyes said, Let's get on with the war.

Icarus

Icarus seemed to fly over the ground as he ran, giving him his name. He slowed to a walk when he saw the group. The group that would one day save the valley. He panted, wagging his tail. "I'll...I'll help you fight." He said. He was labeled The Wolf Hunter, but he could not take out an entire army himself. "I'm Icarus."

Elemental

Her grin was evident, and she said to Icarus I'm glad to have you. Our home base is at the Croal Mountains. If you would all please follow me, I'll take you there. With that being said, the solid white female turned and trotted away. Calling over her shoulder, she said to Tekk I'll see you soon, my friend

Bob/Calvin/Lily/Icarus/Jack/Min

The three oryxes followed, along with Icarus.

But two more were close, Jack and Min. They had only just gotten here, but had heard enough words to know what this was about. This was an Army. Jack jumped out, scaring Lily half to pieces.

Min tagged along, though she didn't exactly like the sound of this.
