Temari and Others
Temari was the eldest mare in the little group.Her ears twitched and she lowered her dial down to lip up some water.She was 15 years of age.
Anko:Kin had died and anko was still thriving. She was 13 years of age. She stood beside Temari.Though she only looked out over the water.
Hinata was now 4 years old and comming into her second season.She was not afraid of it this time and just snorted and nibbled on some grass.Ears twitching.
Ten Ten watched her half sister.She too was in season along with the two older mares.She snorted and took off running around in a circle.Then she moved off from the group to investigate this place.
Gaara was the lead stallion here and he kept a look out.He stood on a small cliff watching over his herd which was his family except one horse was a year or so younger then them.He snorted.
Kankuro was second in charge and was off aways grazing.
Vanim//Diablo
Vanim snorted, off a ways from hte other horses. She was 3 and not quite like any of them. The appaloosa stood watching, tail flicking.
Diablo, a black stallion with a white forehead star, stood at the bank of pike's Lake, drinking the crystal water. He had no clue about the small band of horses.
Temari
She snorted.Her dial raised up lightly.She smelt another horse not one of theres.Her ears twisted.
Hinanta kept grazing.
Ten Ten was close to this other stallion and her heat scent was strong.She snorted quietly soon realizing she was near another stallion.She watched him silently.
Kankuro:he rolled and then just stood therre.
Gaara did not catch the scent.
Diablo
Diablo heard horses and snorted raising his dial. He flicked his ear, watching carefully. Her scent carried to his nose but he didn't go to her, watching the other horses warily, picking out who were stallions.
Ten Ten
She snorted and as soon sa his dial was raised she took back off towards the main group alittle worried.She came to a sliding halt next to her half sis and the two began to play fight.
Temari and Anko just grazed.
Gaara:HE watched his sister but he was out of sight of the them unless they looked far up.
Kankuro:he snorted lightly and grazed.
Diablo
Diablo snorted and threw his head, looking around at all the horses and pawing the ground.
Gaara
He snorted now hearing the stallion.He moved down the slope and landed with a jump. He snorted and tossed his dial.He then immediatly rounded up his herd.He then moved them away.
Kankuro:He on the other hand stood and watched this stallion.
TenTen followed her brothers orders.She snorted lightly.
Hinata temari and anko moved.
Diablo
Diablo spotted Gaara and his mind was put to work. Why not take it. He went over to Gaara and flicked his ears back, baring his teeth, challenging him for the herd.
Kankuro
He raced off after the herd as gaara came back.
Gaara:he snorted lightly as he came back head held high and whipcord lashing.He reared and slashed the air giving another warning.His eears flat back.
the family watch.
Diablo
Diablo snorted and raised himself up as well, a strong hoof slashing out to stab the other horse. He whinnied, his challange inevitable.
Vanim recognizd the horse as a brother from ages ago and whinnied, raising her front hooves off the ground for a second, not very high up, and prancing.
Gaara
He snorted and his neck arched and he now moved to be beside the stallion he sniffed him and then he snaped and attempted to bite him on the withers.His ears flat back
Kankuro:He was nervous.If his brother lost this battle they would probably be seperated or somethin.He snorted and paced in front of the mares.His dial going up and down and his ears back.
they watched.Temari nervous.
Diablo
Diablo snorted and was bit at the withers but he threw his pillars out.
Gaara
He snorted as he felt a piston hit his side but that fazed him little.He reared up but kept his hold.He slashed out.His pelt already starting to sweat and he had very bad feeling.
Diablo
THe hoof missed him and he continued to slash with hispillars, teeth forth to try and bit at his long neck.
Gaara
He snorted. This fight lasted the rest of the day but soon gaara bloodied withdrew.His ears back.He moveda safe distance away and then spun around and glared.
Kankuro:he snorted and called to his brother but just stayed next to his and gaara's mother.
Temari she snorted and called out to her son.SHe pawed the ground.
TenTen:She watched as her half brother was beaten.
Hinata stood there shocked.
Diablo
Injured and bleeding but still victorious, Diablo snorted and threw his head. He spotted Vanim and recognized her, whinnying in delight. He trotted over and sniffed her.
Vanim whickered at her lost brother, glad to have him back.
Kankuro
He wasn't any where near dominant so he did not challenge this stallion.He snorted and watched his brother and tossed his dial but stayed by his mothe rwho began to graze again.
Ten ten:She whinnied to her lost half brother and then went and lapped up some water.She still missed her mother who died by protecting her and hinata back when they were only 8 months old.
Hinata:She tossed her dial and arched it and hit the ground and then moved off away.
Anko wasn't really intrested in the new stallion but all the mares except maybe his sister were in season because they got in sink. SHe snorted.
Diablo
For now, the stallion was uninterested in the heated mares, there was no care for that, for now.
Vanim snorted and looked over at Gaara, alone and looking a bit down and wary. She wasn't too fond of him, but he was still the one who took her in when she was lost and alone as a filly. She trotted over and nuzzled him, cocking a head.
Ten Ten
She snorted and watched vanim go to her brother and well the new stallion seemed to allow it? Awkward but oh well.She snorted lightly and lapped up some water.
Gaara:He snorted his bloody pelt soon drying.Flies landed on him nad his pelt shivered.He watched as vanim came to him and his eyes went to the stallion who stole his herd but apparently he wouldn't stop her so he didn't move away.He snorted and nuzzled her back.Maybe he would win them back but not now he was too weak to do so.
Vanim
Diablo watched TenTen for a minute, ears flicking, before his gaze went to the cliffside.
Vanim whickered, watching him carefully, knowing her brother wouldn't care what she did unless she was challenging him to anything.
TenTen
She snorted as the stallion stared at her and her ears went back.IT would take her some time for getting use to him. Gaara was the one who stood by her when her mother died saving her.She wanted to go to her brothe rbut she daubted the stallion would allow her to remain with him and she tested him by taking a few steps towards her brother.
Gaara:He snorted lightly and began to groom vanim.Maybe he could steal her right from under the stallion so at least he'll have one mare.
Diablo
Diablo bared his choppers at her, ears back.
Vanim endured this for a minute and pulled off, flicking her tail. p>
TenTen
She snorted as she saw this and she turned her rump toward him and bucked in aggrivation.She tossed her dial and let out a loud whinny of anger.
Hinata:She watched her sister and snorted.She didn't understand anything.
Gaara:He snorted as she pulled off.If he didn't get away with stealing her then he would be pushed off even farther so he was competing with himself whether to do it or not.
Diablo
Vanim shook her head and neck, ruffling her long mane.
Diablo was silent, lowering his head and pawing the ground irritatedly.
TenTen
She snorted and then without warning she took off in an attempt to get to her brother.He ears flat back.
Gaara he watched his sister but did not run to meet her he knew the other would attack him again.He snorted lightly and pawed the ground.
Diablo
Diablo was a born racer as a thoroughbred, and much faster than the Pinto. He charged, slidingto a half and nipping out at the mare, prancing in place.
TenTen
Diablo
Diablo trotted nearby to the group, ready to tear off and stop TenTen again if she decided to test him again. He kept a look out.
Vanim snorted and turned to grazing.
Ten Ten
She snorted and started bucking and turning and rearing in anger.Ears flat back.
Hinata:She whinnied to her sister and tossed her dial.
TEmari and anko sighed.Ten Ten would have to get use to the stallion because he probably be their stallion for awhile.
Kankuro:he snorted and pawed the ground.He watched the stallion.His whipcord lashed out.
Gaara:He stood close to vanim and grazed as well.
Diablo
Diablo ignored the Angry Tenten for now. She'd just have to get used to it. He was sticking around.
TenTen
She snorted and then ran toward the stallion and right by him going the opposite direction then gaara but away from him maybe she can get to gaara this way.She may not be as fast as a through bred but she still could run faster over a quarter of a mile for that was her breed job.
Hinata and kankuro watched her and sighed.They understood the roles of natural order.
temari and anko just grazed.
Gaara he grazed.
Diablo
Diablo was suspicious and walked nearer to Gaara, optics watching TenTen the whole time. He bucke.
ten ten
she snorted and soon was close to gaara as well it took her awhile but she got to him she nuzzled him. then she noticed diablo and she snorted and pawed the ground
gaara:He snorted and then snapped at tenten he knew that would hurt her emotionally but he wasnt stupid
Diablo
Diablo leapt over and bit down, going for her withers.
Ten Ten
She snorted and ignored her brothers kick but then she felt a bite and she screamed and bucked wildly.But she didn't go back towards her family.
Gaara as the stallion came into the scene he immediatly moved off ears flat back and whipcord lashing but he moved away.
Diablo
Diablo let go and stood afront her, baring his teeth again.
Vanim watched without the slightest hesitation or worry.
TenTen
She snorted and snapped at him.She threw her fit for a few more minutes then gazed at her brother and she moved off at a slow trot.Her whipcord lashing out.
Gaara he snorted and just grazed.
Diablo
This time Diablo didn't move away from Gaara but kept an eye on TenTen, ears pinned back.
TenTen
She snorted and bucked but soon returned to grazng by her aunt.
Gaara:He snorted lightly and kept a wary eye on diablo.
Diablo
As she calmed down, Diablo took back to looking out from his post.
Gaara
Gaara snorted but his dial shot up at a rustleing in the bushs.He snorted lightly and pawed the ground.He licked his lips lightly and then moved cauitously toward the bush.One ear on the bush the other on the stallion.
Ten Ten's tail was going quickly in anger.
Diablo
Diablo's head thrust around at the sound and cerpt over, past Gaara. If he was to take over he couldn't let the others come in firt. He pawed the bush carefully, investigating and whinnying in warning.
Gaara
Well now this brute would take care of his family atleast he knew that.He would go off and start a new herd and maybe one day rescue his family.He gazed to his family whinnied to them and bucked and then took off.
Kankuro:he whinnied to his brother and watched him.
tenTen she watched him and snorted.
The rabbit that was in the bush squeeked and ran off.
