Ninetails
A slender female walked slowly around the edge of the lake watching for pike. Her black tail swung back and forth lazily as she spotted a pike that looked easy enough for her to catch. She crouched low to the ground and narrowed her light blue eyes in consintration. Her ears pinned back to her head as she watched the fish circle.
Then without warning her black dipped paws shot out from underneeth her. Spirit was manily a pale grey color except for the black markings that came apon her body in odd places. But she didn't look that strange amung wolves of her species.
Aaka
The alpha female limped her way to pikes lake, her mind shadowed. She remembered others that had come and gone from her life. Seeing the wolfess ahead of her she halted, holding her left haunch up. A bullet had hit her back in the Stores. Taking a detour, she had found herself at the Lake. The loss of Laporta had hit her hard and now had her thinking about others she had lost. Spirit....Her first friend in the valley. Just seeing this wolfess here brought the alphess to a halt with a pain tugging in her heart. Her and Spirit had hunted here together. Back before she disappeared. Spirit had come back into Aaka's life once since then. Hatinng and bitter she had been. The white wolfess sighed. She had deserved what she got.
Spirit
Spirit's ears pirked up suddenly as she heared the footsteps of another. She pulled her paws out of the water, comming up without anything to show for it except wet paws.
"W-Who are you?" She asked in a quiet voice. But not one that had any authority in it what so ever. Spirit surely didn't want to get on bad terms with the local wolves before they got to know her.
Aaka
No....It wasn't her Spirit. With a soft sigh the alphess spoke. "I am Aaka, leadess of the Silver Glades. Who are you, soft stranger?" She spoke in an authoritive yet quiet tone. Her tail was raised high to show her leadership but she wasn't in a fighting mood at the moment. Her mate on the other hand...Well. He was a bit testy no matter what the day. She smiled not unkindly at the female.
Spirit
Spirit bowed her head out of respect as the other female introduced herself. Then as she raised her head again she spoke softly. "I am called Spirit, it is nice to meet you Aaka" Spirit let out a soft yawn as she turned back to the water. Her tail lay limp inbetween her legs as she studied her reflection. After a few moments she turned back to Aaka.
"So what brings you out here Aaka?" Spirit was new to these lands but she was prity sure this wasn't pack lands. Or at least thats what she thought.
Aaka
A kind smile passed the normally cold wolfess' maw. "I am on my way home, dear Spirit. Would you care to join me there? I have many who would enjoy the company of another." She stepped up beside the female and stared into the water. Although her face was beautiiful, her body was tinged with scars from many a battle. She bore them with pride but she wondered what it would be like to take up the life of her sister, a kind soul with a heart of gold.
Spirit
"Oh, I wouldn't want to be a burden ma'am. But I would love to go with you. If its not to much trouble" Spirit smiled as she turned from the water to the alpha wolf next to her. Now that the other was closer Spirit noticed the scars that ran all along the others body. While she on the other hand had not yet receaved a scar from another. Lets just say she wasn't much of a fighter.
"May I ask where your home is Aaka?" Spirit cocked her head at an angle then realized that she was staring and turned her gaze back to the water. She wasn't too good at the whole socializing thing. Even when others were kind to her. It wasn't that she didn't want to be social it was that she had very little experiance in the past.
Aaka
Her smile was faint as she said in a soft tone "I reside at the Silver Glades,a bit north of here." She began to move away then glanced over her shoulder to make sure that Spirit was following. "You are no trouble, m'dear." With that she continued on to her home lands.
Spirit
"Thank you" Was all she could manage to say as she fallowed her new Alpha with a smile. Heading off to what she would now call home.
