Kiarra

Kiarra arrived, Aiden if her mouth. She gently set him down, "stay with me" she said. She then looked around for Narsia and Bullet and the pups, howling for them...

Narsia, Bullet, Skeil, Yersinia, & Ankh

It didn't take long for Narsia to appear, heading out from a thick stand of vegetation. She padded over to Kiarra and looked down happily and much relieved at Aidan. She nuzzle him affectionately, then spoke up, "Are you two alright? Where are the others?"

Bullet and Skeil soon appeared from the spot Narsia had. Yersinia and Ankh were with them, and Skeil was herded them and Kenyon towards Kiarra.

Bullet sat down near the group and dipped his head down. He was completely recovered from his attack, besides a massive headache that would go away after a while.

Skeil wagged her tail merrily, glad to see Aidan and Kiarra return.

Yersinia and Ankh both charged their brother and tackled him, yipping playfully.

Aidan & Kenyon

His nuzzled his mom, then laughed as he was tackled by his siblings. He gave a mocking snarl and nipped at both their ears and paws; which ever came close to his mouth.

Kenyon soon bounded over, a bit larger than the rest of his siblings. He crouched down a moment, then pounced on them.

Kiarra

She smiled at the pups but turned to Narsia and the others, a serious look on her face, "the pets attacked us, so far no one is hurt, Hydras told me to come here with Aiden, I'm not sure if there ok now or not."

Hydras, Bullet, Narisa, Skeil, & Pups

The alpha made it back shortly after Kiarra. "Demon will be back soon. Ninaki was held back at the barn, so Demon is going to make sure he returns safely."

Narsia listened anxiously to this news, hoping her mate would be alright.

Ankh twisted around and clamped his jaws lightly down on Kenyon's ear, then snarled a shook his head playfully.

Yersinia took Aidan by the scruff and tried to pin him.

Kiarra

Kiarra nodded, "should I go and make sure everything is ok? Just incase the pets attacked again?"

Ninaki, Aidan, & Kenyon

Aidan growled and struggled to pull away from his sister. Gathering his legs under him, the pups suddenly sprung up, trying to throw her off.

Kenyon growled deeply, but all in play. Rearing up as much as he could without causing any damage to his imprisoned ear, he lifted his large fore-paws and drove them against his brother to knock him over.

Ninaki later returned without a scratch on him. He first approached his mate and nuzzled her, then looked down at the pups. He grinned a bit, watching them play.

Demon

He padded in and over to the others. He sat by Hydras but didn’t speak for there was nothing to say. He was glad everyone had returned safely.

Hydras, Narsia, Bullet, & Pups

Glad to see everyone back and safe, Hydras sat back on her haunches. The pups looked very content, and her pack was finally well fed. "I suppose we can all stay here for a while and relax. Then we will stop by the Alleys and make sure no one is trespassing." After her speech, Hydras gave a light yawn and stood up. In a casual manner, she sauntered towards Demon and sat down again. Talking in a light tone that wasn't a whisper, but still not loud enough for the rest of the pack to hear, she spoke to him. "You've been in the pack for quite a time." she pointed out, "You are a good leader, too." She paused after this, giving a glance around to make sure no one else was listening before she continued, "Would you consider being my alpha?" Her voice was a bit hopeful and anxious, but she tried to hide it.

Bullet padded over to the lake and drank a bit of water before laying down. His head still hurt from the whack he received from Mark, but at least it was starting to go away.

Narsia nuzzled her mate in return and laid down by him to rest.

Ankh pulled away from his brother and then sprung back. "Hey, I've got an idea!" he said in a high whisper and waited for his siblings to gather around him.

Yersinia gave up her attack on her brother and eagerly bounded towards Ankh to hear what he had to say.

Kiarra

Kiarra padded over to Bullet and sat down next to him, "are you alright Bullet?"

Bullet & Skeil

Bullet lifted his head and gave a small grin, "Yeah, don't worry about me. Just a headache. Those human sure pack a heavy blow! I bet he won't be so lucky the next time we see him."

Skeil padded over to the pups, curious on what they were talking about.

Ninaki, Pirqua, Adian, & Kenyon

Ninaki thumped his tail against the ground and rested his head over Narsia's neck. After their recent hunt and the rescue mission to retrieve their son, Ninaki was tired.

Aidan and Kenyon quickly bounded towards their brother, looking eager and curious to hear what he had to say.

Even Pirqua was interested. Seeing the pups and Skeil gather together, she glided down from her post in the trees and landed on the pit bull's back.

Kiarra

She nodded, "yeah, we'll get him back" she said with a sly smile..

Demon

He listened to Hydras and couldn’t help but smile a bit but he also tried to not let the rest of the pack see his expressions. He nodded silently. He’d love to. "Your a great leader yourself." He said unsure of what words to use. Though he couldn’t help but wag his tail slightly which he rarely did.

Hydras, Bullet, Narsia, Skeil, & Pups

Hydras was relieved by his response, because she had been rather nervous to ask in the first place. "With our leadership, no one will dare challenge the Shadow Lurkers." she announced boldly, with a grin now. But, something bothered her. "I wonder how the Alley pack fairs; they've gained Turret as an ally, as well as Aminita. Suppose they get more members? I wonder if we should seek them out and eliminate them before they get to big?"

Bullet glanced over at his sister and Demon, who where too far off for him to hear. He looked to Kiarra and grinned while flicking his head slightly in the direction of the alphas, "Looks like we've got two alphas now." He made sure to speak low enough so his sister couldn't hear, or she'd retaliate.

Ankh grinned now that he had their attention, "Well.... I was thinking it would be fun to go swimming! Anyone wanna go swimming?"

Yersinia rolled her eyes, "Ankh! Swimming? I though you had something really cool to say!" she walked past her brother and shoved him with her shoulder as she padded towards the water.

Kiarra

She grinned and nodded, "yeah, it does" she said in a low voice...

Demon

He grinned and lifted his tail high as Hydras now. He was glad she asked. He would have eventually asked if she would be his mate if she hadn’t but in truth he had been nervous as well but Demon was pretty good at hiding certain emotions when he felt the need to. "Yes Im sure no one would dare even let the thought cross their mind." He said cooly yet deviously. "That is a good plan but then Aminita might hate us forever but it would solve the problem of them trying to eliminate us. But what if they go after the pups which is another risk. But I am sure we can do some damage that might take them awhile to recover from." He suggested his idea in the last sentence. But if his mate really wanted to seek and destroy the alley pack then he’d go along with it. "Whatever you want to do." He said cooly as he gave Hydras a affectionate lick on the mug. Then he noticed Bullet and Kiarra and guessed they had found out but it didn’t bother him.

Ninaki, Pirqua, & Pups

Pirqua shook her head, "I think I'll just watch. I'm not exactly the best swimmer." she pointed out.

Kenyon took a hold of Pirqua's wing, "Ahhh, we'll see about that!" he exclaimed as he began to drag the falcon towards the water. A sharp peck on the nose made him let go though. "Oh, you're no fun!" he retorted but made no further attempts to take her. He turned and dashed into the water.

Aidan sprinted to the shore and leapt into the waves. Looking back at the rest of the pack, he gave a bark, "Come over! Lets all swim!" he said hopefully as he plunged deeper into the water so he could swim.

Ninaki opened one eye for a moment, just checking on the pups. He would much rather sleep right now.

Hydras, Bullet, Narsia, Skeil, & Pups

Hydras returned his gesture by nuzzling him. She glanced back at Bullet after noting he had been watching her.

Bullet quickly turned his head away, pretending that he hadn't seen his sister's suspicious look. "Heh, I'd better watch it." he pointed out with a slight grin and looked to the water. "Swimming sounds fun. Wanna join us?" he questioned Kiarra as he ran, jumped up, and splashed down into the water.

Narsia, like her mate, decided against even moving. She was perfectly content resting with her mate right now.

Skeil eagerly plunged forward and dove into the water. With shorter legs than the rest, she had to swim in the shallow water which they could walk in.

Ankh swam over to Bullet and grabbed his tail. Snarling fiercely, but only in play, the pup tried his best to tug back and thrash the tail while he swam. Yersinia tried to grab Bullet's ruff.

With most of the others swimming, Hydras returned her attention to her mate, "You are right. I'd hate to see Aminita totally against us. Perhaps we could try to distract her sometime, or maybe catch one of the Alley pack mutts alone." She offered, liking his idea.

Kiarra

She grinned at Bullet and jumped into the water, splashing it everywhere. The cool water felt good to her fur and she sighed. She saw the playing with Bullet and smiled, swimming towards Ankh, she nipped at his tail playfully...

Demon

He thought for a moment then nodded. "That sounds like a good idea." He said cooly. He then got another thought. "Or we could pup nap Aminita then attack the alley pack and finish them off and let Aminita find them dead and we can pretend we didn’t do it. We could say a bear or something did it. Its mean but it could work. Cause then shed have no where to go but back to us but there is a flaw. If one or a few survive then they could tell Aminita the truth. But I like your idea about leading her away or getting one of them alone better." He said cooly then smiled slightly to Hydras.

Pirqua, Kenyon, & Aidan

Kenyon splashed into the water and swam strongly towards Skeil. He tried to grab a hold of her ear and tug back on it.

Aidan sprung high into the air and came down with a crash into the water, spraying it every which way. He repeated this over and over, trying to splash as many pack members as he could.

Pirqua casually scanned the area from her perch. Then she spotted what looked like two, maybe three wolves. She soared into the sky and circled around. A moment later, she was back and landed near the adults in the pack, "There are two strange hybrids not too far off. They don't look familiar; but I'd thought I'd tell you."

Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, & Pups

Ankh quickly released Bullet and whipped his head around and tried to nip at Kiarra's nose. He tried to sound as fierce as he could in his growls, but it was all play.

Bullet swam strongly into some deeper water before taking a deep breath and plunging his head and body completely under.

Yersinia quickly let go and tredded water where she was, "Bullet! No fair!" she barked. As so as Bullet came back up, she was again at him. This time she went for his ears.

Skeil snarled loudly, but her wagging tail told it was only play. She shook her head from side to side, trying at first to free her ear.

Hydras listened again to Demon's thoughts. Again, she found flaws in her own, but both of theirs molded together should work. "Those are good points. If we get the chance, we should take Aminita and finish off any pack members that we can. If we find any of them alone, it will be their death." she was about to continue, then Pirqua came. "Why don't you go check them out; see if they are a threat to us."

Kiarra

She giggled and snarled at Ankh in play...

Kenyon, Aidan, & Pirqua

Kenyon held on, then shifted his grip to hold her ruff, if he could.

Aidan continued to splash around in the water, but now was trying to locate little clam shells.

Pirqua soared into the air and circled around before flying off, not too far away.

Demon

He smiled deviously for a moment. "Perfect." He said cooly as Hydras spoke of the plan. He liked it but he wasn’t sure if she was finished speaking so he quieted down and listened.

Pirqua

It didn't take long before Pirqua returned and alighted on the ground near the two alphas. "There are four of them! Two she-wolves and two males; though one is smaller. They paid no heed to me so I don't know their intentions. I also saw some very large bird at the Canyon. I've never seen one like it before! Certainly might be a threat to the young ones, I think."

Kenyon over heard this bit of information and broke away from the play to approach the falcon. "A bird! A threat to us? That's a joke, Pirqua!"

The falcon ruffled her feathers, "It's no jest, Kenyon! Why, I'd bet this fellow could pluck you right up and carry you right off."

Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, Yersinia, Ankh

Ankh sprung away, giving a bark. Then he jump up and splashed a good deal of water at his friend while grinning mischievously.

Skeil heard talk of some big bird and her interest was quickly one. The pit bull swam to the shore and approached her alphas, tilting her head in curiosity.

Bullet swam to more shallow waters as well and shook himself, trying to fling Yersinia off.

Yersinia clung to him though, snarling her fiercest.

Hydras gave a quizzical sort of look. "I've heard of Golden Eagles being a danger to very young pups, but surely they wouldn't threaten pups of even Yersinia's size." she added, in more of a question. Yersinia was the smallest of the pups, but they were growing bigger now.

Kiarra

She was about to splash Ankh back when she overheard the others. With a smiled at Ankh, "hold on just one moment" she said, swimming to shore. She listened to them, she did not speak though...

Demon

He listened for a moment. "How about 2 or 3 of us go check this bird out while the rest stay with the pups. Then we can see if it’s really a danger and if it is we can take it out." He said cooly but glanced to Hydras for her approval. Even though he was her mate he’d make decisions with her ok befor any action would be taken. He sits by Hydras side.

Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, Narsia, & Pups

"I suppose Narsia, Ninaki, and Bullet should all stay. The parents are likely to be even more protective of their pups." she pointed out, then looked around at the others. "Skeil can stay too." The alpha said and looked towards pit bull who was listening in on the conversation.

Seeing no objects from her, Hydras continued, "That leaves us and Kiarra." Hydras looked questioningly to Demon. Like him, she also seeked his approval for ideas.

Yersinia and Ankh were now very interested in the talk of a big bird. "I wonder what if could be!" Yersinia whispered to her brother, "Suppose one of those big metal birds that never flap their wings?"

Ankh shrugged, "Dunno. I've never seen one of them land before; they always just fly so high in the sky."

Pirqua, Kenyon, & Aidan

Kenyon laughed, "You guys are worried about a bird! Why, I bet it's no bigger than Pirqua!"

Pirqua narrowed her large eyes in defensive sort of way, "And I bet you won't be laughing when it swoops down and decides to have an arrogant little pup for a snack!"

Aidan sat back on his haunches, listening to them quarrel, "I don't doubt you, Pirqua. But the biggest bird I've ever seen are those buzzards that circle 'round in the sky."

"Why, this fellow's wing span is larger than Demon's length from snoot to tail! And he's got a beak big enough to carry away a pike, I'd say!"

Kenyon rolled his eyes, "Yeah, yeah." but his tail waved the slightest bit; he was just arguing to see how far he could push Pirqua; not to make anyone really mad.

Kiarra

Kiarra listened to them and nodded to the alphas, she would come and help. She turned her head to Kenyon and Pirqua and smiled a bit...

Demon

He smiles and nods in approval to Hydras. "And Pirqua you can come if you think you’ll be ok from that big bird... if it’s ok with Hydras." He says looking to his mate to see if she approved.

Hydras, Narsia, Bullet, Skeil, & Pups

Hydras looked to Pirqua, "Yes, you are welcome to come. I'm sure you'd know more about birds than us anyway. But of course you can stay if you wish. And Skeil," The alpha continued, once more turning to the pit bull, "Wake Narsia and Ninaki if any problems arise." Hydras glanced back at the pair, seeing that her sister was sound asleep. "Alright, lets head out!" she said, keeping her voice calm. Truthfully, she was quite interested to see just what kind of a bird could scare Pirqua. She headed for the Canyon.

Skeil nodded to her alphas and Kiarra, "Good luck." she too was curious about what the bird might be, but figured that she'd hear plenty about it when they came back.

Pirqua, Kenyon, & Aidan

Pirqua took to the sky and followed after her alphas and Kiarra. She stayed low to the ground though, and very near to them.

Kenyon sat back on his haunches as well, watching them leave. "Would have been fun to follow them." he pointed out glumly.

Aidan raised an eye, "Don't be gettin' any ideas! You know where those kind of ideas lead to."

Kenyon yawned and flopped down on his side, stretching his front and hind legs, "Sure, sure, Aidan. I know what happened last time."
Aidan shook his head and laid down as well. Both pups were soon asleep.

Kiarra

She nodded and ran after her alphas to the Canyon...

Demon

He walked beside Hydras to the canyon.

Bullet

The hybrid had gotten out of the water and shook his fur out as best as he could. After a moment, he gave a small yawn and spoke lightly, "I'll be back soon enough. I'm just going off to explore." Without waiting for a reply, Bullet trotted out of Pikes Lake.

Kiarra

Kiarra sprinted in and looked around for the rest of the pack. When she spotted them she ran over, "You guys have got to see this bird! His name is Zhener and he is huge!" She paused and remembered what she had come here for, speaking in a more responsible tone she spoke, "Demon sent me to come and get you" she said. Looking around again, "where is Bullet?"

Ninaki, Kenyon, & Aidan

Ninaki stood up quickly and stretched out. "He left for a bit, but he can handle himself." Ninaki then yawned and nuzzled Narsia to wake her up. "This bird sounds interesting." Ninaki paused a moment while Kenyon and Aidan bounded over to him. Then the three of them left for the Canyon.

Kiarra

Kiarra was not sure if she should leave yet or wait for Bullet. She decided she should go with them, she howled for Bullet, letting him know that they where at the Canyon. She then ran after the others...

Narsia, Skeil, Yersinia, & Ankh

Narsia was quickly roused and stood up, shaking bits of dirt from her pelt. She then followed alongside her mate.

Skeil paused a moment to wait for Bullet, but then she followed after the others.

Yersinia and Ankh eagerly followed after their mother.
