Immortal
Your body will pass on but what of I? Must I live Never to Die?
She walked painfully to the lake the thick fog swirling around her engulfing her in the ice clouds. She was hiding from her sister, for her white coat blended perfectly with the snow beneathe her as it crunched and the fog swirled and shifted making her appear as a ghost. That was what she was. Immortal. No one knew her true origins except maybe her sister and Sasha. Eternal was her sister, black as night and cunning as a snake. She walked across the ice to the middle of the lake and stood watching all around her. She had no friends here. Eternal forbade them. All she had was herself and that wasnt what you could call good company. Her nightmares kept her awake at night and her sister drove her all day making sure that sleep never dragged her down. She now slept for only an hour but her body was made for it. She watched the fog smiling faintly as pictures were drawn remembering back in a time that things were going right.
Life is no longer worth living for Why cant you see all the things that Ive done to myself?
Nhosh, Valence, & Nitro
Slicing through the fridged air and rising through the dense fog, two sword-like projectiles could be seen. A ghostly silhoutte, much taller than any wolf, could barely be seen in the dense air by any who looked his way. By a breath of wind, the creature's scent was carried forward. A red deer. Blood was mingled with the scent as well.
The figure moved closer and closer until most of his form could be seen through the shrouding fog. It was Nhosh, the red deer stag with the strange, tine-less antler beams that rose about his head like two mighty swords. At his side came an even stranger sight. It was a young white-tail buck, with an arrow sticking right through his neck. By pure luck, the deadly weapon had missed his vitals and tore through muscle instead. Still, the arrow was dangerous, for if it caught on a branch, it could cause the deer his death.
And still another deer came along, traveling between the two adults. He was only a yearling red deer. His face and muzzle were terribly bloodied, and he was panting very hard and shivering like mad.
Nhosh halted suddenly, for he had been upwind of Immortal, and so hadn't caught her scent. And the thick fog obscured her vision from him. Stopping so apruptly that he near fell on the slick ice, Nhosh lowered his head defensively. "Wolf!" He said in a deep but almost quite voice. There were a few predators in alliance with his herd, but he could hardly expect many more to be on his side, for it was natures way that predator consumed prey. Yet Nhosh had to take his chances; he didn't know where the Woodland Farm was, and that's where he was heading for. Showing no ounce of fear in his bold, dark eyes, despite carrying several fresh bite wounds himself, the stag spoke to the wolf, "Do you know where the Woodland Farm is? If you help us, I can offer you a good deal of food." He almost grimaced as he said it, for he was offering Immortal the body of an old doe that he been killed by hunters. But he knew, in the end, her body would be consumed by scavengers anyway, if not the wolves and worms.
Nitro and Valence both backed up, a definite fear in their eyes. Their desire the run was only checked by the boldness of thier leader.
Cookie
A pup had been passing by as he heard Nhosh's question. "Woodland Farm you ask?" The pup asked. He lived at the farm and wondered why the stag wished to go there.
Nhosh, Valence, & Nitro
Nhosh knew better than to fear a pup, for he could kill one with a simple kick of his hoof; not that he would, without reason. Showing a bit less intensity to Cookie, the large stag replied, "Yes, two of my herd mates need help."
Valence, the yearling fawn, watching Cookie with a bit of curiousity now. The pup didn't look nearly so scarey as Immortal did. Infact, Cookie looked down right harmless! Of course, Valence didn't see the teeth hidden within the dog's jaws, or he would be frightened!

He smiled.
"Well, Immortal, if you do want food, I bet I can hunt for you." Cookie said, turning to Immortal. Then he turned to Nhosh.
"I can show you the way. I live there." He said. Cookie awaited Immortal's answer before departing.
Immortal
Why cant you see the things Ive done to Myself?
Tears shone in her eyes at their offer of kindness. "I dont deserve help." Her words were soft and a sob tried to choke itself out of her. She looked first to Cookie then To Knosh and the others and tears fell through her white coat. She moved towards Cookie and said softly "GO take care of your mistress young one. She needs yyou more then I" She turned and trotted a distance away and sat in the freezing cold still as a statue until suddenly a howl erupted from her bearing sadness and hurt and anger into a cruel world.
Cookie
He nodded and gave Immortal a friendly lick. "I hope we meet again someday." He said. Cookie turned to Nhosh. "Okay follow me!" He said, and departed for Woodland Farm.
Nhosh, Valence, & Nitro
Nhosh was content to leave the wolfess be, for they were none of his concern. He looked to Cookie expectantly, waiting to be led to the Woodland Farm.
Valence, on the other hand, was still young enough to care about the predators as well. He felt badly for Immortal, and wondered why she was so sad.
Nitro also felt a bit of pity for the wolfess, for he hadn't had much bad experience with canines yet; except the recent hunting party. Still, his mind was focused more on the arrow sticking through his neck than anything else.
Cookie
He also wondered about her sadness, but like most sadness, it is not usually revealed.
Nhosh, Valence, & Nitro
He nodded and followed after the dog. Valence and Nitro tagged along as well, scared about meeting a human, but desperate for help.
