Patch stepped onto the beach, his ebony and ivory fur shining brightly. "Equiss..." Patch whispered, he looked over his shoulder to see if she was following. Wind ruffled his fur, he gave a soft sigh. How long was it... too long to remember. Patch looked up at the heavens and gave another sigh. "It is so beautiful here." Patch complimented.
The lean, slick-coated hybrid followed after Patch, her lanky tail swaying gently with her steps. Her soft brown fur was marred only by the stripe of white down her forehead and muzzle, giving rise to her name. "It is beautiful." Equiss responded as she came up shoulder to shoulder with him, "A much better sight on the eyes than the Alleys."
Patch chuckled. "Yeah..." Patch shivered. "Everything's been a mess. The battle, and stuff. Nothing's going to be right when this is threw." Patch's stroll down the beach slackened down the beach. "At least this is one place the tides of war haven't reached. I hope..."
