Tri-Tundra

being so busy, she had almost forgot about the meat she had buried. she brought it close to the water and let the waves pull it out. she called "for you tyali, the orca who gave me hope." and left the beach, leaving only footprints in the sand

Tyali

The large orca came to shore too late to see the wolfess leaving. He rose up from the water a ways and looked this way and that, but could not see her. She was gone. Tyali submerged beneath the waves again, then noticed the meat. Rabbits! He thought, and nudged one of the lifeless forms. It was very small, but then, so were the delicious fish his pod often ate. Tyali's great head rose from the waters again and snatched up the meat. He found the little mammal to be very good, and quickly finished off the rest of the rabbits that his wolf friend had brought to him.

Dark Star

a long howl emitted from the what seemed to be lifeless wood on the side of the beach. from here emerged a wolf. you recognized it as dark star. you soon realize he is not alone. beside him walks a gracefully, elegant wolfess you recognize not. She is the Wolfess, Kana. You then see a pale gray figured untangle herself from the brush. they come up to the beach. And they howl for the orca friend.

Kana

She stood next to Dark Star, her gray/white fur shined...

Tyali

The orca wasn't slow to respond to his wolfish friends. He leapt completely out of the water, then splashed down on his side and disappeared under the waves. He brought his head and dorsal fin above the water again, and glided in towards shore, "Greetings, Dark Star and Tri-Tundra! And who is this?" he questioned merrily, looking at Kana. "Your quest is complete, is it? You two have finally found each other!"

Kana

She had never saw an Orca before.. "Hello, I'm Kana, a friend of Dark Star's..."

Dark Star

Dark Star replies somewhat slowly. "yes...... i suppose the quest is finally ceased. is that right tri tundra?"
She nods in silent agreement.
He smiles at his orca friend "how has the winter been for you? oh yes! Kana, i don't know if i have told you about tyali, but he is my friend. i hope he can be yours too."
"Tyali it is very good to see you once more. did you find the rabbits?" tri tundra questioned. i hope you like them.

Kana

She smiles, "Hello Tyali, it's nice to meet you.." she said with a grin..

Dark Star

Tri Tundra walks very close to the edge of the water, and speaks with tyali.

Dark Star looks to kana. "Kana, i know this is sort of bad timing, but, well, heh, um, would you be my mate?" he asks with a wavering voice. "i like you so much, and you are the only girl i have met who understands me, and that i can trust. stares at her, full of hope.............

Kana

She smiles at him and nods, "I was hoping you would ask.." she says, stepping closer to him..

Dark Star

his heart leaped and skipped a beat. he stared into her beautiful eyes, looking at the wonderful wolfess knowing without a doubt, that he loved her. and he would spend his entire life, no matter how short, with her only. "No matter what happens, i will not let anything stop us from being together, i promise."

***Tri Tundra***
She turns and realizes that dark star ad went over to talk to kana. she figured they would be great together. and she hoped they would always be happy together. for she had only liked Dark Star more than a friend when he became her brother. she turned back to tyali. "so tyali, how is your family and friends?"

Kana

She smiled, "And I will do the same.." she said sweetly, nuzzling him, "I love you..."

Dark Star

He nuzzles her back with much affection. He was so happy to here those words. "I love you too, Kana." he licked her. then he thought. something was missing. "But, i can't help feel there is something wrong here. Something isn't right Kana. It's not about us, but, something is lost."

then he knew.

"Bandit!" he nearly jumped. "We must tell bandit of our news." He paused, then with a sad tone, he continued. "that is, if he still draws breath. What are we to do Kana? Even with tri-tundra an assault on the leopards would be deadly. But i can't bear to just leave him there." He couldn't think strait. something told him that happiness would lie with them when he knew Bandit was safe.......

Kana

She frowned, "oh, I don't know, if we go back up there...well, you remember what the leopard said..."

Dark Star

He sighed. of course, there is that....... i only wish that there was something we could do." he looked to the sky. "And i refuse to go back up there knowing we wouldn't come back unharmed.

Tri Tundra: She loped over "i heard you speaking about leopards? They're not all bad you know, i helped one pup who was caught in a den and she just let us go. And you remember who helped me find a pack, those leopards up on Cold Mountain? They were like family.

Dark Star :
"Tri Tundra, you couldn't get this leopard to believe you if you had the word of every other leopard in the galaxy! besides, Milky, Iceberg, and the rest of them don't live there anymore..."

Kana

Kana sighed, "yeah, she is really protective. I don't know what to do.."

Tyali

The orca nodded his large head, making the water around him ripple with the motion, "I did find the rabbits, and they were delicious! Thank you for catching them for me. And my family is out hunting right now, near a coral reef." Tyali listens to them speak about leopards and the one they call Bandit. "I've never seen a leopard, at least not that I know of. I don't suppose I could help you with this problem you have?"

Dark Star

Dark Star smiles at Tyali. "No, Tyali, your offer is kind, but the leopards live too far off shore." he looks around, thinking. "I don't suppose a howl could reach him from here, could it?"

Kana

She thinks, "Maybe if we howl at the same time loudly, he might here.."

Bandit

He enters with his pelt stained with some blood and he had some menial wounds. Humans scent lingered on his pelt as did snow leopards. He could scent Dark Star and Kana. He howled for them and sat panting from the long run. He was very worried and his howl distressed for he needed his friends help. He waits for Auna as well.

Auna

The snow-leopard kitten followed after Bandit while looking around at the new surroundings. She had never been out of the Breve Ridges before, and the site of so much water and open area was fascinating to her. But the thought of her helpless family was enough to douse her enthusiasm completely. She stood warily beside the wolf pup, half crouched to the ground with her long tail curled around her. She was still a bit scared about meeting Bandit's wolf friends.

Bandit

He looked to Auna. He hoped they would be alright at Breve Ridges until they returned that's why he continued howling for his friends. He nudged Auna. "Don't worry they wont hurt you." He says. "They are very nice but I hope they hurry! Also if you see large whales don'tbe frightened. Though I never saw one I heard that they are quite friendly." He quickly says and continues to pant from his quick talking.

Kana

Kana heard the howl, "Dark Star! It's Bandit!" she said. She lifted her head and returned the howl before starting off. Coming over to them she noticed that Bandit was ok, "Bandit!" she panted, after running so fast to get to him. Then she noticed the leopard, but sense it wasn't the mother she wasn't very worried. "Bandit, are you alright?! I'm so glad you'realright!" she said...

Bandit

He stopped panting. "Kana Auna and I need help. Humans came and attacked and they hit Sivinith, Auna's mom, with those thorns (Tranqs.). Now all the humans are dead and Snowden and another cub is trapped under a human and Sivinith wont wake." He said. "I will explain where I've been after but will you help?" He said with a whimper. "By the way this is Auna."

Kana

She listens to him, was the leopard he was speaking of the one who had threatened to kill him? She nods to Auna, it seemed to her that these leopards meant something to Bandit, if so, then yes she would help. "Alright, we must hurray though.." she said, howling for her new mate, Dark Star, letting him know that she had found Bandit and that she was going to help him..

Bandit

He howls as well calling for Dark Star to follow their scent possibly. "Ok follow me." He says to Kana thankfully and then looks to Auna and nods because she knew the way. He pads out to Breve Ridges quickly.

Auna

Auna watched Kana nervously. But she would trust Bandit's words and not fear this wolf. The snow leopard kitten turned and followed swiftly after the wolf pup.

Kana

She howled one last time for Dark Star, hoping he would come to. Then, giving a kind nod to Auna, she fallowed them..

Dark Star

He hears the howl and quickly called tri tundra, with that the two raced over to bandit. "Bandit!?! What has happened." he gestured to the blood. "you smell of humans..." he then saw the snow leopard cub and instantly knew something was wrong. " To breve ridges?" he asked with haste. Tri tundra simply smiled at the sow leopard cub, Auna, and lowered her head in greeting.

Dark Star

Just as he was about to run with them, tri tundra heard a howl. " That sounds like Nyscee Dark Star, Nyscee from our old pack." dark star looked around. Bandit was nowhere in sight. " okay, why don't you look around for her, ill wait here." she ran off. it became very late. Worried, dark star raced to breve ridges
