Niran/Mayuree

A small figure moved quickly through the shallow water, stirring up sand wherever he went. It was Niran, the Zebra Bullhead Shark.

Not far behind was his sister, Mayuree. She seemed to walk along the ground with her fins. After a short time of searching, she found what she was looking for - food. She lunged at the small fish, but she was not quick enough. The fish swam away, followed by a few others that swam nearby. Mayuree continued on her search, but every attempt to get a meal here seemed unsuccessful.

Havfeera-Vh'mei

After spending the winter in the lake, Havfeera was ready to taste the salt waters again and kill the ichy freshwater bugs that began to collect on her skin. Gliding slowly through the delta, the massive Bull Shark slowly began to readjust to the saline water as she took in the scenery. Her own pups were probably around her somewhere, if they hadn't already swam out into the deeper ocean.

Niran/Mayuree

Mayuree stopped her hunt when she sensed another nearby. Turning around, she approached Havfeera, staying close to the ground. The other shark only seemed to be a silhouette against the surface. "Hello?" Mayuree called up to her.

Niran was well aware of the bull shark, but paid little attention.

Havfeera-Vh'mei

The massive fish was surprised to hear another voice call to her. Aside from the few wolves she had befriended, most creatures fleed at the sight of her. Turning about, the bull shark tilted her head a bit as she looked down. It took a moment, but she spotted the smaller shark who had spoke to her, "Hello to you too, brave one. Not many venture to get my attention." Havfeera replied, looking curiously at Mayuree, her rows of razor-sharp teeth glistening as she spoke, though she showed no intentions of trying to eat the other creature.

Niran/Mayuree

Mayuree smiled. "I can't imagine why. You seem so nice." She said, appreciating the comment. "I'm Mayuree, by the way."

Niran watched the large fish curiously I have never seen a shark that big. He thought, swimming closer. "I-I am Niran, Mayuree's sister." He said fearfully. He was not the bold one of the bunch.

Mayuree looked around. "I don't think I have ever seen the ocean before. We lived in an aquarium for all of our lives." She said, turning back to Havfeera.
