Adulthi & Xxalt

Adulthi padded gracefully towards the lapping waters, leading her new found 'friend'. That's what she thought of him, anyway. "Well, this is it!" The feline said, announcing the obvious. The rocks here were dark, mostly black and sepia. This reflected in the water, making the bay appear dark and gloomy, especially on overcast days.

A second feline came into view, head low and tail flicking irritably as he went. His ears were back as well, showing he wasn't in a good mood at all. Mumbling under his breath, Xxalt hardly noticed his sister until she gave a happy cry. His head shot up and he grinned, "Adulthi, what dragged you from the mountains?"

Adulthi chuffed happily, nuzzling her brother's head. Xxalt was the definite opposite of his sister, bearing a purely cougar body with a series of leopard rosettes. For being in the same litter, they shared little physical traits. "I've found a new friend, Skah. He's looking for his sister."

Xxalt now took notice of the wolf, "Oh, I see." Then his tone grew grave, "Stay away from our cousin, Ronen. He's a wolf killer; he attacked me, too." The feline flexed his muscles, feeling the sting of pain that rippled through his stomach area, where his cousin's claws had left their mark.

Snowstorm

Snowstorm had been very lonely the past few months. It seemed like the population of big cats was going down and she hadn't seen any of her family in a while. She had been searching for a mate for a long time, but had been unsucessful for a long time. Now, the snow leopard was prowling the bays, looking for something to eat.

The large feline huffed when another fish slipped from her grasp. "Stupid little bugger." The cat was above to snatch at another when she heard a few familiar voices. Her ears pricked and she sat up, head turning in the direction the voices were coming from. It took Storm a moment to recognize the first voice for it had been a while since she had seen her cousins. A large smile palyed on her lips when she recognised Adulthi and then Xxalt. Deciding she wanted to see them, their older cousin padded softly towards them. She stopped in a bed of reeds watching the two hybrid cats and the wolf. She had nothing against wolves, though from what Xxalt said Ronen did.

"What's this I hear about my brother?" Snowstorm stepped out of her hiding place and walked cooly towards the cats and canine. She grinned at her cousins and then gave the wolf a small smile. Her sleek leopard body slipped up beside Xxalt, though she gave him space. Her eyes looked over his frame until she saw the claw marks on his stomach. Them feline shook her head at ehr brother's behavior and looked up in Xxalt's eyes. She shwoed him with her own that she wouldn't do what her brother did. Storm hadn't even heard of this event and was curious about it. "Hello Adulthi, Xxalt." She sat calmly, looking at the other female feline. Her tail twitched ever now and then as she waited for a reply. She was ready for it to be accusing or something because she was Ronen's sister.

Adulthi & Xxalt

"Ah, Snow!" Adulthi chuffed as she saw her older cousin approaching. Neither held Ronen's actions against his sister, and Adulthi was convinced that there must be more to the big cat's story than what her own brother revealed.

Xxalt gave a smile, seeing the look that Snowstorm gave him. "He's turning out to be a lot like his grandmother, I'm afraid. Not a big fan of wolves; or any other creatures, for that matter." The hybrid stood, his tawny pelt and cougar-like build making him the largest of the group, though he wasn't one to show off unless it was for a mate.

Adulthi, taking much more after the leopard in her build, went on to speak after her brother, "Ronen tried to kill a wolf while the two were hunting together; and apparently they got in a fight after Xxalt tried to stop him." She looked to Xxalt, who nodded in affirmation of this information. "I think he's taken to the mountains now; but we haven't seen him for a while. What have you been up to?"

Snowstorm

Snowstorm grinned at Adulthi's warm greeting, glad that her cousins weren't mad at her or anything. The large feline reached out to nudge her female cousin playfully and chuffed back. Her tail stopped twitchig since she relaxed a lot now, only her ears really moving. "Is he now? I think I'll have to knock some sense into him then. He's always been weird, but of course he's my brother." The leopard chuckled and shook her head. Snow watched as Xxalt stood and smiled back at him.

Her head then turned to her slimmer and more leopard like cousin as she spoke. She frowned at the information, she just couldn't see her brother attacking a wolf and then fighting with Xxalt. When they were young he never seemed that way. She let out a sigh and then wrapped her tail around her body. "I probably should talk to him. But anyways, you know the usual. Hunting, roaming and searching for a prettyboy like you, Xxalt. You guys?" She laughed and reached out with a paw to push Xxalt with.

Adulthi & Xxalt

Adulthi nudged Snowstorm back, purring contently now, "Yeah, that's be a good idea. Before he goes tangling with a whole wolf pack or something along those lines." The feline said with a bit of a laugh in her voice, though the possibility of Ronen doing something like that could be dangerous for him.

Xxalt gave a grin while he swiped a playful paw at Snow's head. "I just can't keep the ladies away." At this, he flexed his claws in the ground and stretched his shoulders.

Adulthi laughed and shoved her brother, "Yeah, right, brother." Shaking her head, she looked back to her cousin, "We've mainly been traveling together and hunting. Namalt as found a home with a pack called the Opake Mountains, with Namir. There's a cougar-male that lives there, so that's probably one reason she's staying."
