Tolacca, Auna, Snowden, & Adulthi

The three snow leopard siblings strode through the snow, heading near the lapping waters of the bay. Tolacca laid down on the rocks, her thick fur cusioning against the hard ground.

Auna and Snowden sat down nearby, grooming their fur. Ronen was not with his father today, but was with his grandmother in the western mountains.

Adulthi pounced around in the snow, her snow leopard body adept at handling the cold. She was still rather young, but was allowed to get out of the den a bit early because her aunt and uncle were there to help guard her. Getting bored with the snow, the mix-breed feline pounced over to her brother Xxalt, and tried bitting at his ear.

Snowden watched the little kitten play, amazed at her appearance. She had the shape and build of a snow leopard, but a tawny-cougar like coat, and very few rosettes.

Namir, Namalt, & Xxalt

The cougar brute had picked up on his mate's scent and come to make sure everything was alright. He was a bit wary when he spotted Snowden with them, but made his approach anyway. Padding quietly towards them, Namir sat down next to Tolacca, gazing fondly at their three cubs.

Xxalt growled playfully, rolling on his back and kicking at his sister, trying to throw her off. Of his two siblings, he was most like his father, with the cougar body and color. From his mother, however, he inheritted the rosette spots, which were rather striking against his deep-tawny coat.

Namalt was the perfect mixture of her parents, baring a cougar body, but a snow leopard-like head and tail. Her fur was mostly like that of the snow leopard, with the rosettes, but so detailed as an actual snow leopard. She pounced towards her aunt, trying to attack the larger cat's paw.

Mirage & Snowstorm

Mirage had wandered off that day in Breve, to hunt so the family had split up again. Snowstorm had followed so mother and daughter had a hunting lesson, ending in Snowstorm catching her first rabbit, with help of mom of course. Mirage had been really happy then, when Storm had caught the rabbit, it was nice and plump and had made a god meal for the two. Now the duo were following Snowden's and Auna's scents to the Bay. The snowleopardess was really sorry she had went off that day and hadn't got back with them but she had really wanted to start on Snowstorm's hunting lesson. Now with the two females padding along silently for once they came into the Bay. Purring with delight as she say the others, Mirage pciked up the pace to a bound and Storm followed closely behind.

Suddenly the older fae stopped, nose quivering and tail flicking behind her. There was a cougar scent and she was very wary. Narrowing her orbs she glanced back at Snowstorm to see her practicing pouncing contently. Mirage lowered her creamy haunches to the ground and watched siletnly as Namir sat next to Tolacca and the young kits played. She cocked her head and then shrugged as she saw that Snowden seemed to be alright with it and the cougar and snowleopard seemed to be mates. She got to her paws again and tapped Snowstorm on the head with her tail then walked slowly toward the procession. Smiling all the way she raised her tail and pricked her ears in a friendly manner to the cougar brute ho surely wouldn't know her and to the others. She hadn't ever met Tolacca but she had Auna. She chuffed to her sister-in-law and smiled then went over to Snowden. Purring she rubbed up against his side and sat down next to him. Snowstorm came and sat next to her aunt,cocking her head slightly. "Auntie Auna, who and what are those kits?" Snow grinned, she loved calling her aunt Auntie Auna when talking to her. Blinking she watched the cubs, wishing she could play but not knowing if she could.

Mirage shoke her head at Snow and then grinned lightly, looking up at Snowden she gave him an appologetic smile. "Sorry about disppearing the other day, hunting lesson with Snowstorm. By the way, where is Ronen, and have you done any lessons with him?" Just being a mother she looked up at her mate quizically. Her brows rose and she gave him a coy look, thinking he probably hadn't done too much with their son. But then again she could be wrong. Mirage then asked another question, but this time quieter. "Who is the cougar and the cubs? Are Tolacca and the male mates and those are their cubs?" She questioned him and then sat silent waiting for an answer just like her daughter.

Cortinarri

The wolfess was heading towards the bay, where her good friend Namir had told her he'd be going. She was startled to see so many other snow leopards, and almost regretting coming here. But she was eager to introduce Namir to two long-time friends of his. Although it stung her pride a bit, Cortinarri dipped her head low as she approached, signaling to the gathered felines that she was no threat. Slinking up near Namir, Cortinarri sat down, "I've brought a surprise for you." She whispered, and looked back to be sure that Amber and Charcoal had followed.

Tolacca, Auna, Snowden, & Adulthi

Snowden looked joyfully to his mate and daugher, while he and his two sisters chuffed backed in greeting. He nuzzled her and then gave a sheepish grin, for he had indeed shluffed off his 'father' duties. "Ah, well... Ronen is with his grandma today. But she can sure do a heck of a job with teaching!" he exclaimed, remembering to back when he was a cub. He always looked upon his mother with almost a sense of awe. That, and a bit of intimidation, for she was one tough cat.

Auna looked to her niece and purred contently, "Meet your cousins, Adulthi, Xxalt, and Namalt." She smiled now and looked to her own sister, "And your aunt Tolacca."

Tolacca looked to Mirage and Snowstorm and nodded, "It's good to meet you. Snowden has told me much about you. I'm Tolacca."

Adulthi looked at Snowstorm with wide eyes, wondering what to make of the cat. Adulthi became quickly intimidated, and scampered towards her mother, nestling into Tolacca's warm fur. Her tawny pelt made her stick out like a sore thumb.

Amber, Charcoal

Amber came in after her adoptive mother. She saw her put her head down and wasn't sure why her mother had done that so she tilted her head slightly but just continued to follow. She spotted her mother sit next to Namir and began wagging her tail once again and walking over. "Namir! Remember me?" She said in a cheerful tone.

Charcoal followed and decided to copy his mother unlike his sister who kept her head up. He lowered his down following and sitting beside Amber and his mother before glancing to Namir, his tail wgging as well. "Hello Namir." He greeted.

Mirage, Snowstorm

Mirage purred and nuzzled Snowden. As she heard his next statement she grinned and shook her head. "It's alright, but you may have to send Ronen to me if you don't start teaching him anything." She gave him a coy grin as she finished and then intertwined her tail with his. Though they had been mates for a while, it still seemed like when they first fell in love. She then turned to Tolacca and smiled, saying, "Snowden has also told me about you, Tolacca." She nodded her head and then looked at her almost fully grown daughter and Auna.

Snowstorm smiled over at her other aunt Tolacca and then went back to studying the kits. She purred in laughter as Adulthi ran behind her aunt. Getting to her paws but crouching down to not seem as intimidating she smiled at the cubs. "Hey, I'm Snowstorm, your cousin. Would it be alright if I played with you guys?" She waited hopefully for the cubs to say she could. She definitely wouldn't be doing the tackling but she would let them tackle her.

Namir, Namalt, & Xxalt

Namir watched all the interactions, a bit overwhelmed by all the felines. But he tolerated it with a cool facade and kept politely quite; until some old friends arrived. The feline's eyes grew wide a moment and he bared his long fangs in a grinning smile. "Hey, I think I do remember you." His tone was sarcastic, in a friendly sort of way, for he remembered them easily. "It looks like we've both come a long way from our cub stages, doesn't it?" He laughed lightly, thinking back to the day when they had first discovered him.

Xxalt watched Snowstorm with big, curious eyes. He was larger than his siblings, and very bold. Suddenly he dropped down and wriggling his hind end in the manner of a cat that's about to pounce. Then he sprung forward, trying to grab his paws around his cousin's neck. He rumbled playfully and kicking out with his hind legs.

Namalt watched her brother with a look of 'what in the world are you doing?!?!?'. She didn't know what to make of all the new strangers that had arrived, and was quite overtaken by all of it. Scampering back, she too hunched down behind her mother.

Tolacca, Auna, Snowden, & Adulthi

Tolacca smiled down at her cub and gave her a nudge, "It's quite alright, you can play." Then she looked around and nudged Namalt, "You too, go and see your cousin Snowstorm."

Auna glanced from Namir to Tolacca, "Ehhhem." The snow leopard flashed a little grin and her eyes looked expectantly to her sister.

Tolacca caught the gesture and looked a bit sheepish, "Sorry, this is Namir, my mate. Namir, meet my sister-in-law, Mirage. And my niece, Snowstorm."

Snowden laughed a bit, shaking his head. "What a family we have, huh?" He nuzzled his mate once more, then stood up. He wasn't sure what to make of the three wolves that had arrived, although he had no problems with the lupines because he had grown up with a wolf pack.

Adulthi was encouraged by her mother, and decided that Snowstorm wasn't that scary after all. Slowly standing up, the kitten padded timidly towards her older cousin and nuzzled her, purring happily. Rather than start a play fight, she was more content to make peace.

Amber, Charcoal

Amber's eyes filled with joy as she padded right up too Namir giving him a friendly nuzzle. "Yeah it has. I remember when you were a tiny cub." She laughed lightly now talking a seat near Charcoal and her mother.

Charcoal gave a small nod and wagged his tail. "Good to see you again."

Cortinarri

Cortinarri watched the felines for a moment before looking to Amber, Charcoal, and Namir, "I'm quite famished. How would you three like to go on a hunt? It's been a while, but I think some cow meat would do good." At this, the wolfess gave a sly grin.

Amber, Charcoal

Amber perked up her ears to what her mother said. "Ok." She replied. She was a bit hungry anyway.

Charcoal wagged his tail. "That sounds like a good idea." His gazer turned to Namir. "So what do you say?"

Amber then remembered Cortinni's injurys and frowned slightly. "Mom.. can you hunt ok with your leg injury?" She asked not wanting Cortinni to possibly get hurt in the hunt if her leg hurt her.

Tolacca, Auna, Snowden, & Adulthi

Tolacca looked up, hearing the conversation the wolves were having, "Why don't we all go on a hunt? Well, I could stay with the cubs." She added, for she didn't have the energy to do a hunt, and the cubs were too small to keep up.

Auna and Snowden looked at each other, then to the wolves. They were willing to go, if the lupines didn't mind.

Namir, Namalt, & Xxalt

Namir stood up, nodding to his friends, "A hunt would be good fun. It's been awfully long since we've tried the Ranch." The cougar stretched out his front paws, yawning widely. "How about we meet back at the Opake Mountains? You can use the den there." Namir suggested, looking to his mate. He nuzzled her, then headed for the Cow Pasture.

Amber, Charcoal

"That sounds good. lets go." She said to all those who were going and followed swiftly after Namir.

Charcoal began following but paused waiting for Cortinni before continuing on after Amber and Namir.

Cortinarri

"I'll be arlight." Cortinarri assured, mentally cursing the hybrid that had caused her that injury in the first place. Bullet, of the Shadow Lurkers. She followed along after the others, doing her best to hide the ever-present limp.

Tolacca, Auna, Snowden, & Adulthi

Tolacca nuzzled her mate, then began her route to the Opake Mountain territory. Adulthi fell in line behind her mouther, bouncing along enthusiastically as she went.

Auna followed the wolves and cougar to the Cow Pasuter.

"I'm going to fectch Ronen, then meet you there." Snowden announced, departing from the group and making for the Breve Ridges.

Mirage & Snowstorm

Mirage sat smiling and nodding every few seconds from all the talking, trying to listen to everyone at once. Her big blue eyes followed Snowstorm making sure she was careful when she was playing with her younger cousins. She was proud though when Snow was careful and though she punced and let them climb on her she still swatted them and growled playfully. The female snowleopard instantly perked up form just gazing around in the midst of all the commotion when she heard about the hunt at the Ranch. A wide grin spread over her face and she flicked her ears back and forth listening to all the plans. When everyone was one talking she smiled and began to speak. "I think that'll be a good hunt. I'll be there," looking to her cub she then spoke to her as she stood. "Snow, come on, we can head there with everyone else as your dad gets Ronen." She padded after everyone else, ready for the hunt as much as anyone else.

Snow had been rolling on the ground or some other thing with her cousins when she heard her mom speak. Pricking her ears she smiled and gently batted the other remaining cubs away before getting up and walking after her mom. "Yes mum."
