Pheral
The large, 600+ pound sow was making her way towards the salty waters, moving on relatively long legs. Her dark eyes and half-flopped ears were keeping a sharp note on her surroundings, but her snout was working the hardest, for it was her best sense. It had been ridiculously easy for her to find food in this new place, and so far, she had kept herself out of a predator's hungry jaws. But there was something else that she was longing... something that she couldn't obtain on her own. Or, at least not without risking her life for it.
Pheral began to root about in the rocks, seeking out dead fish and hiding crustations as she went. As she moved along, she continuously looked out for trouble; and possible help.
Kokos
he was hungry and was now watching this sow curiously. If she got close enough he would beach himself to get her.
Pheral
The sow lifted her head, spotting Kokos. For a moment she stayed silent, testing the wind and watching the huge mammal. Her knowledge of other creatures was vast, and she was fully aware of the orca's carnivorous and opportunistic feeding. She kept herself alert and didn't stray too close to the edge of the water. "I see you out there, you know." Pheral finally said, for it was unnerving to be sized up by a predator. "You can stop staring."
Kokos
He whistled and he turned upright his tail out of the ater and made it look like he was waving bye and dissapeared though he wasnt gone.
Pheral
Pheral took a faint step back, watching as the large fluke waved at her before slipping back under the dark waters. What's his deal? the swine thought to herself and she stepped closer to the shore. She let her front hooves step into the cold water as her snout began to push around the rocks there, trying to find little clams and such to eat. However, her dark, narrowed eyes flickered constantly towards the rippling waves, wondering where the whale had gone to.
Kokos
Who would wait till the critter calmed down and then he would strike. He watched her carefully from his deep hiding place.
Pheral
Pheral continued to survey the water, but she couldn't see the whale any longer. The swine moved closer, her sensative snout moving left and right as she searched about for food, rooting around in the water. Her lengthy legs allowed her to get deeper into the water, until the salty waves splashed against her stomach.
Nachi & Tupit
The two wolves sauntered towards the water's edge, following after Pheral's trail. Nachi's old habit of idolism towards non-wolvine creatures was showing through again. She was totally fascinated in the swine now, and brought her niece along as she trailed the sow.
"Hey! Wait up!" Nachi cried out, padded over to Pheral. "My name's Nachi. I mentioned that, didn't I? Well, anyway, I just wanted to ask... what are you?"
Tupit slinked up beside his aunt, sitting back on his haunches and looking curiously at the sow with his bright blue eyes.
Kokos
Not caring for the other wolves he began his silent attack and now was comming full speed at the pheral he attempted to get her or one of the others his jaws.
Nachi & Tupit
Tupit, his friendly nature showing through, drew nearer to his friend. "Pheral! Have you..." But the adolescent trailed off, spotting some movement of the water. His fear abaded, the wolf moved deeper into the water, trying to figure out what it was that he saw. And then, a giant creature came splashing forward and Tupit yelped in surprise and fear. A moment later, he felt Koko's massive jaws closr around his hind leg. Yelping anew, the adolscent struggled to get away, but he was no more than a worm fighting a bird.
Nachi's eyes grew like saucers as she saw the mammoth whale emerge from the depths. Before she knew it, Tupit's yelps rang out and the aunt sprung forward, growling and uncertain, "Hey, wait! Leave him be!" She cried desperately.
Kokos
he would not give up his catch hitting the sand with his tail he began to slowly moved back into the water.ONce the tide hit he was back he now draged the wolf towards the deep.IF this wolf somehow managed to get away he would surely loose a limb.
Nachi & Tupit
Tupit yelped and pawed desperately at the water, but his leg was in a vice. "Let me go! Please!" The adolescent cried out, struggling to get away as his blood began to diffuse into the salty waters. But it was hopeless; he couldn't fight against a creature so many times his own size and strength.
Nachi looked almost crazed with fear and horror. She sprung into the water, paddling towards Tupit. But she too couldn't do much to help him. For one, she couldn't swim nearly as fast as an orca. "NO! TUPIT!!!!"
Kokos/Madria
he continued swimming out soon joined by a second but the second was headint towards nachi at rapid speed and wehn close enough she struck.
Pheral
Pheral rushed forward swiftly, seeing a second orca come for Nachi. "Nachi! Stop! It's too late!" The sow cried, swinging her heavy muzzle around, trying to catch Nachi under the stomach and sling her away from Madria's initial reach. Her heart went out to Tupit, but there wasn't a thing she could do for him at the moment.
Nachi & Tupit
Nachi felt the wind go out of her and sharp pain tear into her flesh when Pheral caught under her stomach. A moment later, she felt herself being flung back, just out of the orca's reach. "TUPIT!" She wailed out, scrambling up. "NOOO!" But she could see that her nephew was out of her reach now, and she took several steps back to get out of Madria's reach. "No, no!! TUPIT!!" Nachi sobbed, watching helplessly as he was dragged away.
Tupit sputtered and coughed as the water invaded his nose and lungs. He splashed frantically still, but his fate was held with Kokos.
Madria
She let out a echo of frustration and then went for pheral as fast as she could before she could get to the safety of shore.
kokos:He soon was swimming down dragging the creature with him.He would drown him and then come back up and eat him and if madria hadnt gotten any of the other two he would share his catch.
Pheral
Pheral swung around quickly, scything her four, long tusks at the orca's flesh. Madria's own teeth ripped across the sow's neck and shoulder, but Pheral managed to back out of the way before the orca could get a grip on her. Bleeding badly from her new wound, Pheral scrambled to safety and stood beside Nachi, not sure how to console her. Then an idea came to, "We will have our revenge, Nachi. Be brave." She looked with reproachful, deadly cold eyes at the orcas and the vanishing form of poor Tupit. He was alive and fighting, crying for help. It ate the the sow's very soul to witness the death of the youngster; one of the few who had actually accepted her as a friend from the beginning. In a whispered, icey voice, the sow went on, "They will pay..."
Nachi & Tupit
Tupit gave one last howl before the merciless waters engulfed him. Bubbles of air filtered out through his noise and mouth and his paws battered against the endless water, but there was no amount of struggling that would get him out of this situation. The youngster held his breath as long as he could, feeling the agonizing burn building up in his lungs. By reflex, his lungs suddenly expanded, taking in a great draught of water. Just like that, he passed out and his body went limp. Death followed seconds after.
Nachi stood trembling at the shoreline, her eyes staring with horror at the empty waves. "My Tupit! My poor Tupit! NO!"
Madria
She let out a piercing cry and then smacked her tail hard on the water and swam off and then kokos came up wit the dead body and waited for madria to grab a hold and tore it to pieces.Soon they both ate their half.
Pheral
She watched as the lifeless body was torn to shreds by the murderers. She stood in front of Nachi quickly, trying to block her view of the vicious scene, "Come one, follow me. You need some help, and some shelter." Pheral pointed out, trying to control her shaking voice. She was very good about controlling her emotions, and strove hard right now to keep calm in order to help Nachi. "Come with me now, we will get vengeance later." Pheral nudged the wolfess before heading to the Tall Grass Prairie.
Nachi
Nachi stared bleakly towards the water, feeling as though she were about to black out. A terrible heat welled up in her face and chest and she shook. Pheral's words hardly reached the distraught wolfess, but the nudge brought her faintly to her senses. Blinking back at the sow, Nachi staggered after her, unable to get the picture of her struggling nephew out of her head.
