Ice Berg

The beluga swam around he was lost he admitted it going in the right direction wasn't his thing. He was supposed to be traveling north, but he was really going south east. He swam to the surface and spy hopped trying to find his way. Hello anyone I'm lost how do I get to Alaska or Canada at least? He sank back into the water he wondered if their were sharks or orcas here they could eat him he was the size of a bottlenosed dolphin. He was really worried about the place being called Orca Bay he hoped it didn't live up to its name.

Dark Sea, Melody, & White-Surf

The two calves were playing together in the bay while most of the pod was out hunting. It didn't take long for the curious youngsters to come across the bleach-toned whale. Instantly, their interest was sparked. With Dark Sea leading, the two cousins cruised towards the beluga.

"Woah, ever seen something like this?" He exclaimed.
Melody shook her head, "Huh-uh. Funny looking, that's for sure! Look, no dorsal fin!" She pointed out. "And look how big its head is!"

A third orca appeared, a youngster as well but older than Dark Sea and Melody. "Hey, what's goin..." She stopped short, seeing what the two were awed by.

"What are you!" She exclaimed in wonder, "A whale? Or a dolphin? Or... a seal?" She noted too how Ice Burg had no dorsal fin. Neither of these three hunted yet, so their desire to persue animals like Ice Burg wasn't developed yet. They just had immense curiousity in things.

Ice Berg

He was frozen solid orcas. Three of them. They stared at him funny he noticed that it confused him. Uhh are you g..g..gonna eat me? He studdered. He wondered why they were staring at him and not trying to kill him.

Dark Sea, Melody, & White-Surf

White Surf tilted her head to the side in slight confusion. "Eat you...?" she questioned at length, drawing closer to better investigate this strange creature. Suddenly she stopped talking to Ice Burg and looked to her sister Melody and cousin Dark Sea.

They glanced uncertainly at each other and back to White Surf. "We could try... why not? It's a water animal, after all. And Kennip says all water animals are good to eat."

The three agreed and began to circle Ice Burg. But they were only young calves, and could not hope to bring down the beluga; still, they could do some damage. And attract the attention of their elders. As they circled, they watched intently for the whale's reactions.

Ice Burg

He whistled in fear he shot at the surface and leapt out of the water clearing the ring of orcas he swam with all of his might.

Dark Sea, Melody, White-Surf, & Torrent

Chirping in delight, the three sped off after Ice Burg, cutting the surface of the water with their dark dorsal fins. They were quick, efficient predators, but their young age was holding them back quite a bit. They could hardly keep up with the whale!

And then another form appeared; one of the pod's bachelors. He had broken away from the hunting group and returned to the bay. Seeing the beluga swimming for his life, Torrent swam quickly to catch up, confused on why such a creature would be here. "Hey!" he called out sharply, trying to swim up along side the white whale. Normally, he'd be interested in hunting such a creature; but Torrent was simply curious on what he was doing here.

Ice Burg

He saw a new giant whale approaching he swam even faster. When the whale called out though he slowed up a bit his white hide glistened in the water. Can I h..h..help y..y..yo.you? He was shaking he was scared for his life.

Dark Sea, Melody, White-Surf, & Torrent

Torrent swam in front of Ice Burg to try and stop him while the other three caught up and stopped nearby, eager to hear what would be said.

"You're a baluga, right? What in the world are you doing down here?" Torrent questioned, bringing his massive form to loam only a few feet from Ice Burg. "And I can see... and hear no others of your kind around." Torrent pointed out next.

Ice Burg

He saw how huge the creature was and he gulped. Well we were migrating to Canada and I'm not to good with directions and well do you get the point? He shivered in fear these whales were massive.

Dark Sea, Melody, White-Surf, & Torrent

Torrent moved closer, sizing up his potential prey. "I see." Was all the whale said, wondering what to do with the beluga. He wasn't really hungry at the moment though, which was a good thing for Ice Burg; yet at the same time, Ocien, Sonoya, and a few others in the pod were waiting on food.

White-Surf watched intently, "Are you going to catch him?" She asked, feeling hungry all of a sudden.

Torrent got an idea, "No, not yet. But maybe you could try? Just practice." He glided away a few yards and got ready to make sure Ice wouldn't try to escape from the bay. Or harm White-Surf.

The young orca rose to the serface, blowing out a spout of water. Her small dorsal fin broke the serface, followed by a slap of her tail. Then she charged at the whale, ready to nip at his white hide.

Dark Sea and Melody became distracted though and swam off a little ways.

Ice Burg

He whistled in fear he took off and suddenly dove underneath the young orca. Why me why is it always me?

She had plenty of polar bear scratchs on her back and on one of her side fins a piece was missing from an orca bite.She was watching this whole scene.She chirped to the other baluga and then splashed the water aggressivly and dove further under and started swimming away seeing as they would be heading this way.
