Ocein, Sonoya, Silver Tip, & Black-Lash

The four orcas had remained in the Bay while the rest of their 28-member group went out to hunt. They were all older, though Silver Tip and Black-Lash were far from being elders. Ocein, on the other hand, was very old and depended on the rest of her pod to get her food and shelter her during bad weather. And Sonoya was the matriarch of the pod.

Silver Tip, aptly named for the silverish coloration on the tip of his dorsal fin, gave a series of high-pitched whistles and clicks. The four had heard the noises of other orcas in the bay, and he was hoping to get their attention.

Black-Lash leapt into the air, twirling around and scanning the waves breifly. He then slammed back into the water, creating a loud enough crash to be heard for quite a distance.

Madira and Kokos

Madira was now having a deep conversation with hre brother who now had a mate and well she was jelous.She heard the whistles and whistled right back.She went to the surface and splashed her tail fin in the water.

Kokos:he was the male leader of this pod or so he believes.He was the biggest out of the four of them athough two of his pod was out hunting.He whistled as well.

Ocein, Sonoya, Silver Tip, & Black-Lash

Sonoya watched Madria and Kokos cautiously and began to approach them, backed up by the other three. She looked from the female to Kokos, seeing how he seemed to think he was the lead, "Who are you? I'm Sonoya, lead matriarch of the Silv Cove pod."

Silver Tip came to his lead's side, watching the male keenly. The area was rich enough with food to support two pods, although he Silv Cove pod was not willing to give up their claim of Orca Bay to anyone.

From outside of the bay, another whale appeared. He was just a bit younger than the other four orcas of his paws. And his body carried the scars of old bullet wounds. This was Arsen, the most callous and dark-minded of the Silv Cove pod. And he was a bachlore because of it. Not offering any greeting to his pod or the two strangers, Arsen remained at the mouth of the bay, just watching them all.

Madria,Kokos

"my name is madria and this is my brother kokos leader of our pod except two of us has seemed to wonder off probably hunting"She said calmly but kept an eye mainly on the bachlor she didnt trust bachlors at all.She had a n indent on one of her sides where one had bit her.

Kokos:he watched these whales apparently they have been here longer and he just kept himself stationary.He knew his sisters worries and he too accasionally looked at the bachlor.

Ocein, Sonoya, Silver Tip, & Black-Lash

Sonoya nodded, "I see. A male, leading the pod?" she raised an eye at the statement, but said no more of it. "I'm Sonoya, this is Ocein, Black-Lash, and Silver Tip. Are you planning on claming territory around here? Or are you a traveling pod? There is plenty of food to feed two pods in this area."

Ocein listened carefully to all the talking and said nothing else. Most of her pod respected her greatly for all the knowledge she had.

Black-Lash noticed Arsen in the distance and sighed, turning to Madria, "That's Arsen; best to just ignore him."

Arrow

She swam up to her mate and his sister. She looked at the other pod and their lead. She winked at her and looked at Kokos, Kokos I told you that you weren't the lead. I am just thinking that I should be the lead if that is all right. She turned to the pod across from them and made to speak to Sonoya.

Hello, I am Arrow, I told Kokos that he wasn't and shouldn't be the lead and I am trying to see if I may be. We will be trying to claim territory I think as long as it is okay with your pod. She finished speaking then waited to see what they would say.

Kokos

He snorted and slapped arrow with his tail fin."the way i was raised the biggest male was lead along with his mate.So yes i am the lead and unfourtanatly this is my mate"He said it as if he regreted it but he didnt

madria:"it is true our old pod was led by our father.And we wil most likely remain here if its okay with you"she whsitled."im sorry i dont like bachlor males that the only reason"

Ocein, Sonoya, Silver Tip, & Black-Lash

Sonoya was surprised by Kokos' actions and tensed up a bit, "It's strange I'll say, but... I've heard of it now and then." The lead pointed out, "But if you are your own pod, I can't hold sway over your ways. You're welcome to live in the area."

Black-Lash tilted his massive head to the side a bit, "Why's that? There are four other bachlors in our pod, but all of them are out hunting at the moment."

Silver Tip spoke up next, "Don't worry though, I'll make sure none of them bother you."

Madira

She moved so her side was visible.There was a semi large chunk missing from it.She moved back."If it wasnt for those weird two legged creatures i would of died becuase of one bachlor who tryed to take my from my pod along time ago by force"She said and shook her head then faced them again.

Kokos:"thank you"he said with a short smile.HE still wondered where the other male of his pod was.

Arrow

She smiled as he slapped her with his tail and acted if he didn't care about her. She knew he did so she didn't pay it any attention. She spoke to the others next. Thanks for letting us live here, we are grateful. I don't know where Echo is so you won't get to meet him today but maybe some other day we will meet again.

Echo

He whistled and chirped he looked around where was everybody? He heard the sound of chirps and whistles so he swam in that direction. He found his friends having a conversation with another pod. Hey whats going on is there a dispute over the area cause if there is we should get it... He stopped short that wasn't true they should have it they were obviously here first, but he had wanted a pod for such a long time he had gotten off on the wrong start. I'm sorry please excuse my behavior. He looked at them and then at his friends wondering if he would get in trouble for what he said.

Arrow

She smiled at Echo, he was goofy at times. She swam over to him and whispered about what was going on. We are just meeting with this other pod and they have some of the waters and we do to. She waited for Echo to reply.

Kokos

He whistled as he heard echo."no echo we are sharing it there is enough food to go around"he said calmly

madria;okay so she had a crush on echo and well she was in well season if you wanted to put it that way she rubbed up again him."hey echo"

Echo

He grinned when Madira rubbed against him. Hey Madira. She was flirting with him that was good he liked her as well it was breeding season so it was a good time to have crush. So it just happens to be breeding season and well... He hoped she got the point he didn't want to ask her to be his mate in front of everybody. He wasn't ashamed of her he was just embarrassed.

Madria

She whistled and hit the water with her tail and stayed with him.

Echo

He grinned this was great! He leapt out of the water and did a backflip. He then swam back down to her and the others he wondered what they would.

Sonoya watched their antics and laughed. "We'll be glad to meet the rest of your pod when they arrive. And you can meet ours as well. In fact... the Grays are suppose to be heading this way in a few days. We'd be greatful if you could help us hunt some." The lead pointed out, speaking of Gray Whales.
