*Orcas*
A group of orcas came close to the shore and sang out in their loud voices. They hadn't seen many wolves for a while and were fond for their company. Especially of Dark Star, Tri-Tundra, and Tornado. But any wolf would brighten their day to talk to.
Death
A lone black wolf trotted around the orca bay. He had never been here. Never seen a reasonto. Now he knew why so many joyed coming here. It was so quiet so peaceful....
*Orcas*
A wailing, crying sound sudden rent the air, coming from the edge of the shore. It was one of the orcas singing a song that made a tingle go down the spine of many that heard if for a first time. It was erie, to say the least, yet solemn as well. Some might even call it mournful.
A second wailing chorus came about, wavering in the air and ending in a high pitch that was out of reach of human ears. Two black and white giants were singing to the wolf they saw on the shore, trying to get him to howl to them. These two loved nothing more than to hear the howl of their 'land brethren', as they called the wolves.
Death
He cocked his head at the noise but it made him want to howl. And so he did putting in his own sounds of solem and regret. His howl was filled with pain and anger. Betrayal and Death. For no one cared for a black wolf that was vicious beyond reason.
*Orcas*
Hearing the wolf partake in the event, their songs increased in volume until the cove was resounding in the frighten chorus.
After a moment, one of the slightly smaller whales broke from the group and glided very close to shore. With use of his massive fluke and fins, he got himself dangerously far up the shore so that it seemed he must be beached. But there was still enough water around him so that he could manuever back into the deeper places. This was a trick his pod learned for catching seals. "You seem desolate." the whale chirped out to Death.
Death
Death nodded his head once and said "I have no where to go. So I come and go whenever and whereever I please." he smiled softly at this and said "Tell me. What is it like to swim forever? Im not sure I could stand it"
*Orcas*
The large mammal offered a smile, or as much of a smile as an orca could make, "It is like flying as birds. A domain that feels free from the constant grip of gravity that pulls your kind down and pins you to the earth." It was hard for him to explain, but he knew how demanding gravity was! When he was so far on the shore like he was now, the constant pull crushed his great mass against himself and made him feel trapped and cumbersome. "Some days I wish I could travel on land and see the things your kind sings about."
