Aydan

Open up my door
To see me
Your temper
Blinds me...

Aydan was quiet as she trotted up her hooves moving gracefully. Her grace and movement smooth like a ripple in a ocean. Yes, Aydan was the beauty of a godess equine. That's how she had been bred to be. In shows constantly winning blue ribbons. However it seems fate had a different idea, no?

Look how far this mare had gone. From being alone and sad, to every moment alive and around others. She even had her own herd to care for. Even since than she carried herself proudly tail and head in lead position. Never has anyone else seen it down, but that's how she carried it now. Her tail even hung low the tendrils caressing the ground with ease. Her eyes seemed slightly gazed as she stared out at the bay before her gaze went to Morbid. Her voice flowed through in a soft gentle, and yet firm way.

"How long you plan to let that grief eat at you? Its like some mutts taking you for prey. What happened to the Morbid, I knew...the one that was strong, that didn't care? I'd rather have him than this Morbid...Why can't you remember Hidden in good ways, instead of seeing him bloody and lifeless? Morbid you've got to try! The grief will kill you! Your better than this."

She finished looking away with unshedded tears in her eyes. It hurted her to no end seeing him like this! Why couldn't he pull himself togather? She remembered their talk here when he said he was no push over stallion. Well where was that stallion now? Oh how she missed him so much. Why couldn't he come back to her? He was her comfort, and now she needed him like a best friend.

It scares me
Where have you gone
Your not the same
Your difference is haunting...

Morbid Temptation

I Loved her, you see
Then she threw my heart right back at me
and I swore, never again
To let myself be used like that, like this...

His eyes lifted to hers, and he held them. Hidden was the only one who never walked away, even when I tried to kill him. His head tilted slightly, before he looked out to the bay. I sent him to go patrol the border that day. I had to go and check on something, and figured nothing would happen. Saydin, she had to have known. He wasn't a fighter. Sure, he acted tough but Hidden was a lover. Unlike me. The words hung in the air, unspoken. I'm going to hunt her down, Aydan. I will kill her. I will see to it that she suffers, just like she has made us suffer. Fire burned in his eyes, in his heart. He felt ready to explode, with what emotion he didn't know. I will stop greiving when you tell me what hidden did to deserve such a death. his voice was a low hiss now, anger seething his soul.

I promised I could make it end
Just to find, that my promises never did

Aydan

You didn't catch it
Twasn't my fault, dear
You used me back
I swore the same vow...

His deadly gaze...thats all she could see as she stared back...her gaze just as deadly. His words shocked her for she believed every word. She knew the truth now. He blamed himself for Hidden being attack. Her gaze softened slightly as he stopped speaking. She came closer staring him in his fiery eyes as his hiss caught her ears. Which were indeed perked upon her head with attention.

Her steps had taken her closer to the angered stallion. Her neck reached out to cradle his in a tight grip. Like a mother holding her child in her arms. Her mouth rose to his ears so she could whisper in them. Her voice was a low hiss, but the words were gentle spoken. Even if it might tear at his heart and soul.

"Yes, he did deserve it, and it was his time. Saydin's acts will cause her own misery a life of pain in this hell. Once dead we fill joy, and that's what Hidden deserved. Morbid, do you trully want him to stay in this life of pain and misery? To fill anger at others? I know i don't, and soon if your lucky Morbid, someday you will join him to laugh about the old days. However for now you must remain in this hell, with me until its yours or my turn."

She waited for his reaction, half expecting him to attack her. In his state she could understand if he did, but would she fight back? She already knew the answer to that before she even asked herself. No, she couldn't hurt Morbid no matter what he did to her.

Now look at us
One seething anger
The other in pain
What happened to us...?

Morbid

The question is, who is who?
I walked through the valleys of hell
And stepped upon heavens wings
I travel this earth,
The only way I can seem...

His eyes filled with such hatred, such anger, that for a moment he nearly did strike out at her. Then another thought filled his mind. He has a daughter. Hidden. I want to find her. Sudden, quick turnaround in moods, but he wanted to make it up to Anarchy, the daughter that his friend had spoken of.

I've never met her before, Morbid, but I know shes out there. Her name is Anarchy. I hear stories about her, from time to time. How she runs like the win, and then shes gone without a trace. I want to meet her. Sometime soon, before war strikes down upon us. That way if I die, I know what my daughter looks like, who she is.

One of the last conversations he and Hidden had had before he died. Morbid knew he would have to make it up to Anarchy. Sure, she didn't know who her father was. But Morbid would step into his place. Hidden will be dancing in heaven, m'dear. Theres a special place in hell already reserved for me. His mind was racing, unable to keep up. What to do, what to do? Stay here, with her, enjoying their last moments together? Go find Anarchy? Run away? Disappear?

To the worried father,
to the praying mother
Of this you will not know
So let me see here, don't let me leave here
Of this you should not know

Aydan

Get ready for the blow
You casted upon me
In your misery of hell
You didn't care for me...

Aydan braced herself muscles tensing as his hatred filled himself. She just stood there waiting for the strike. It was clear right than to anybody that she would take pain for Morbid, even if he inflicted it himself. However no pain came showing that he didn't stike. Instead she heard his voice fill the airs around them speaking of a daughter Hidden had. How he wanted to go find her.

No, she instictivly made her hold tighter. She didn't want him to leave, but she knew it was his choice. Her hold loosened so if he wanted to he could go righ than and there. His next words caught her off guard. "No, don't think that way. Hell's for creatures like Saydin,"she said voice soft as she spoke in his ear again if he hadn't moved. She knew he was making up his mind weather or not to leave her.

Aydan was in season, and her smell could be smelled by Morbid if he breathed. It would be intoxiacting to stallions, and in that matter to Morbid himself. She wondered if he would breed her, for she wouldn't say no. She couldn't deny him when he was already going through so much pain and misery. To depribe him would be like taking away a favorite toy from a homeless child. No she couldn't do that to the stallion she considered her closest family, like a brother for that matter.

Your mind fills with different thoughts
As you finally realize
Your true journey had begun
Don't forget to not get shot
Return home after winter, my eagle...

Morbid

[I fell from Heaven
Upon this earth I wonder
The lonely angel with stolen wings
Always seeing things]

His eyes were on her for a moment as he wrapped his neck wround her, pressing his body close to hers. Come with me, Aydan. He murmured softly. He wanted one last moment with her, one last moment where they could be at peace with one another, without turmoil, without the fear that Gypsy would kill him and hate her for she had not spoken of her love to Gypsy yet, correct? Correct. With that, he headed towards the Breeding Grounds, thoughts swirling his mind.

[Maybe, just maybe,
this will be my last shot at doing something good with my life]

Aydan

I pushed you away
Toward the border
Of my heart and soul
Please go i said...

A tear slipped from her eye as she felt his neck upon hers. "Your my eagle,"she said to him for it was true. Morbid was proud and strong like a eagle. He was a radient beauty with his fiery soul. And he would always remain close to her like family. He was her friend, and her eagle. She followed him with her graceful steps watching him the whole time. She wished to please him now, and thats what she would do. Even if it meant giving him a foal. She was lost in her own thoughts that swirled as she followed him to the breeding grounds.

I wished later so bad
That i hadn't pushed so hard
For i might never see you again
Come home please, my eagle.
