Sandial

Sandial kept her head low. She felt deffeated but she didn't want Montrell to get hurt if some thing did start. She quickly gave her head a slight shake to move a hair out of her face before she turned around to see if Montrell had followed.

Montrell

The Kiger stallion was indeed following her, yet walked a yard or so behind her. His dark eyes were downcast, invisible brows furrowed as in deep thought. Earlier, he'de realized how neither of them really spoke during their little trip to this next location, but by now he was too caught up in his thoughts to notice it any longer. It wasn't until they actually reached the Bay that he lifted his head and snapped back to reality, eyes turning upward to look out across the waters. He sighed deeply, offering the slightest of smiles to Sandial before feeling a bit uncomfortable, and then giving his mane a flip. He almost didn't dare break the silence, but instead continued to scan the Bay before them. They had gotten into quite the little scuffle back there.

Sandial

Sandial remained quiet. She barley knew any thing about this horse, but she didn't care. Horses are herd animals its hard to feel safe with out some one by your side. She smiled at him noticing his discomfort. "You don't have to stay with me if you want to move on. I'm going to stay here till tomarrow..." She said looking at the setting sun.

Montrell

Montrell had loosened up as he stood there, eyes scanning the waters intently, as though searching for something. There was nothing to look for, though. Some of the Bay had ice along the edges, but the rest appeared clear. His breath poofed away in a whirl before him. He realized that winter would soon be ending and that was something that made him lighten up.
He was a bit startled when she spoke. To tell the truth, he'de hate to just leave. There weren't many other animals that he'de enjoy traveling with, and heading out by himself just gave him a rather sinking feeling. Well he knew that he would have to toughen up sooner or later. He shook his head a bit, as though answering 'no'. "I could stay around longer," he stated, and then lifted his head urgently, "But if you'de wish to travel alone, then that's understandable." he added. At that moment, he wondered why everything suddenly turned so dark and dull. He looked out to the sunset and sighed deeply.

Sandial

Sandial smiled "I don't mind at all. Infact I perfer your company..." She continued to walk along the bay her hooves made soft shuffling sound as they hit the sand.

Montrell

The dun was quite pleased with her reply. He wouldn't have been looking foward to another trek alone, and was now looking ahead to further travels instead, or at least as long as they would wander about. He took a couple longer strides to catch up to her and walk closer to her side. His ears flickered to take in all the similar sounds around them. He smiled then, brighter this time. "Company is always a nice thing to have," he stated, suddenly feeling a wave of tiredness hit him. He breathed in the cool air deeply with eyes fixed straight ahead.

Sandial

She watched as the last few rays of the sun settled in the distance. She smiled softly and listened to the soft rolling waves. A few minutes later the sand lit up from the moons soft blue gray glow. She smiled. In the dark she appeared like the sand only she didn't glitter from small crystals in the sand but from her smooth pelt. She looked at Montrell and smiled softly before turning away and giving to the dream dimention.

Montrell

Montrell was also watching the sun set, and then the moon appear in it's place. Suddenly, almost without realizing it, his mouth opened in a wide yawn, and then another, till he finally felt satisfied. He, however, stayed up a little longer to just stare at the brightness of the moon. He was quite content at that moment as he then lowered his tired head, and drifted off to sleep in the cool darkness.
