Fiona
This was the one she was least enthused about recruiting. A giant, apparently foul-tempered cat? Who lived around water? Good-god, what was she getting herself into? And for what, three mangy canines who'd probably betray their alliance to her the moment they were free? Oh well, maybe this would all work out in the end. In anycase, she wanted dearly to see the bad humans feel the wrath of animals, and what better way to do it than unite a mixture of species for a coordinated assault on the worst of the human areas?
Slinking gingerly across the ground and staying to dry land when possible, Fiona began to search for the cougar dubbed Ghost.
Zhener
As with little dogs and foxes, Zhener had learned to restrict his diet in the past two and a half years, and now excluded cats, among other things, as his prey. Rabbits and most birds were still fair game, but the little carnivors... they were to be befriended. Spiraling down from the heavens, Zhener broke the stillness of the winter air with a hardy shreak- his way of announcing his presence and greeting this potential new friend.
"'ello, little von!" He said with much enthusiasm, landing a few short feet from the feline. "Vhat iz your name? I'm Zhener." The eagle announced, beginning to waddle towards Fiona.
Fiona
Nearly jumping out of her own skin with the loud screech Zhener gave, Fiona instantly shrunk to the ground, wide-eyed and ears back. Her tail, expanded with bristled fur, lashed viciously from side to side as the eagle landed near her. Eyes narrowed and fangs were bared in defense, although his behavior puzzled her more than anything. He was larger than she, which made him an predator in her eyes. "...you care to know my name?" She questioned, her words played out on a hiss as she began to slowy back up in response to his approach. Trained eyes watched his every move, but she failed to find anything false or dangerous about his persona and actions. Was he really just an over-friendly raptor, with no intentions of eatting her?
"Alright, my name is Fiona...." The tabby said at length, pausing in her retreat as curiousity got the better of her. Who know, maybe this was another crazy friend of Ying's. "Is there... something you want?" It was rare for her to be approached by someone, unless they wanted something. So naturally, she was skeptic and expecting more than just a nice chat from this bird.
Ghost Walker
He slunk silently behind the black tabby and stalked forth out of the trees behind her. Crouching down, he let out a deafening roar, announcing his prescence to her and Zhener. He knew the eagle from Moon Spirits pack, and knew that it wasn't food but there was nothing said about the little tabby. But....Well she wasn't worth chasing to eat. She'd only provide a bite of food. "What is it that you seek, cat? I have things to do, people to see." He licked his lips, his fangs bared to the cat and bird both.
You take the breath right out of me
You left a hole where my heart should be
You got to fight just to make it through
'Cause I will be the death of you
This Will All Be Over Soon
Pour the salt into the open wound
It is over yet?
Let me in
FIona
The roar scared the wits out of the little feline, who was already on edge by the presence of this strange, giant bird. Not wanting to turn her back on either of them, she turned sideways, tail still lashing about like a writhing snake behind her. "If you are Ghost, you have a friend... or acquaintance, perhaps, in need of help. Ying." Fiona waited, trying to calm her racing heart as she listened for his reply. She was more hopeful in meeting this Sheratan; at least the horse wouldn't be interested in eating her like this fellow and the hawk were.
Ghost Walker
His eyes narrowed and he said in a dark tone "Yeah, I know him. What does he need now?" The feline sat and eyed the cat, licking his lips threateningly at Fiona. He wouldn't eat her, like I said it was just to much work to catch the tabby and he really wasn't in the mood to chase her.
Fiona
Still tense as ever, she replied in a steady tone, "He's been captured by the humans. I need you, if you will, to hide out in the forest near the Lab. I'm putting together a plan to free Ying and two other canines." She only hoped that there was some unpaid dept that Ghost owned to Ying, or better yet, he'd willingly do this to get his fangs into some humans. Either way, Fiona waited for his response to this, hoping for the best.
Ghost Walker
He glared hard at the cat then said in a curt tone Fine. With that he turned and headed in the direction of the labs, intending on seeing what he was getting himself into.
Fiona
Watching the large feline go, she looked once more upon Zhener, "You seem friendly enough; why don't you follow him there?" Not wanting to stick around this place any longer, the tabby slunk away quickly, heading for the Prairie for her last recruite.
