Black Lies
I never meant to hurt you...
the large black lupine advanced forward from the shadows, padding over to the water. it had been a while since he was last here. lowering 'is mw to the water, he took a drink. banner is held level with his body, a quality showing he carried with him no fear. he lifted 'is muzzle again, optics scanning the water in a cool manner. he wondered where Galar was. it had been a long time since he had seen the gator. Lies tilted back his dial and howled, clear and strong. it took him a bit to realize he was alone. when the errie silence followed, Lies scented the air. it smelt clean. his stomache growled. Lies sighed, walking to his favorite hunting spot, a large rock that hung out a little higher than the water. Lies spotted a fish, then using his hunting experience, he thrust his muzzle into the water, pulling out the fish, slimy and wet. Lies was one of the best hunters around. he'd been a loner all his life, after being weaned from his mothers milk, he was seperated from the pack. he's been a loner now for over 2 and a half years. he had no urge to find a pack. his goal wwas to make a name for himself. one within the records fo the humans. he was just getting himself back into teh rythem of th killing. he scented the air again, then looked out over the water. either Galar was out doing goodness knows what or he wasnt here, Lies didnt know. he just wanted to say hi. he wondered if any other wolves were out on the marsh today?
I Never Meant To Make You Cry...
When i was born, my mother titled me Black Lies. pure blood of a Timber Wolf runs through my veins. i've wandered these dreaded lands for 3.5 years, and have not but a name to prove it. my pelt is pure onyx, and my soul is as evil as the devil himself. i am a Loner, i have neither a home or a mate. nor would i want either. i am a basterd, and i have the parts to prove it. come on, talk to me. i dare you. but just remember, Never Trust The Truth...
But Tonight I'm Cleaning Out My Closet...
Galar
He hadn't really seen any of his friends, or any other wolves for that matter, the entire summer. The alligator had begun to wonder if the humans were to blame, or maybe just that the wolves had other places to be than his marsh. Either way, Galar was surprised by the familiar voice he heard waving over his domain.
Gliding along the serface of the water, propelled by a massively muscular tail, the gator arrived just as Lies pulled the fish out of the water. "Nice catch." Galar commented as he stopped a few feet in front of the shore where the wolf was. "I haven't seen you for quite some time now, but it looks as though you're doing well."
Moving more slowly, the alligator pulled himself up onto the shore and let his stomach sink to the ground as his short little limbs stuck out on either side of him. His frame had bulked up, and his dark hide was covered in new scars in testimate to his territorial battles; of which he had managed to win. And it was this year that he laid claim to three females of his own, who now were guarding over a hundered of his offspring. Unlike Dima and Akili, Galar would not dare approach the younglings, for the mothers would be quick to kill any tresspasser. On the other note, his instincts for canibalism were hard to override, even for his own offspring.
Black Lies
Hawks prick as a framillliar scent fills 'is nares. looking towards the water, the young male smiled.. dropping 'is fish onto a log, for it had died when black lies clamped 'is jaws around it's head. banner is held in its normal posititon, level with his body.
Why, Galar! 'tis wonderful to see you again!
words are spoken in a deep, slightly darrk tone, for his voice had changed in the last year. it had been at least 2 years since Black Lies had last seen Galar. back then, Black Lies was only a meer year and a half in age. now he was 3.5 years old, a rather oversized in height and bulky in muscle wolf. he was a fine example of a timber wolf, though. why thank you, it seems as if i havent lost my touch when it comes to hunting. and my, it has been awhile... hasnt it? been roaming around, trying to make a name for myself. he said, casually. chuckles after his his last remark, looking over at his large rainbow trout. he was still pondering over how he would get rid of its scales, being as he'd left home before learning such a skill. usually he pawwed the fish till the scales came off, but then the fish for some reason didnt taste as good.
so, old friend, how's life?
he questioned, setting about striking at the fish. after a second, he got the edge up, then getting an idea. he pulled at the edge of the finsh's skin, pulling back and standing on it at the same time. the skin came right off. hmm that was easy enough... he thought, flipping the fish over and repeating. then he set to work at eating the fish. he finshed half and smiled at galar
hungry?
the fish was rather large, and Black Lies had been eating nothing but rabbit and other small game the last year, so his stomache was still adjusting to the new things to eat once more.
Shattered
Satin female came forth into the land of the gator, her nose leading her to what her body had been craving for the last two days, water. She hadn’t graced her mouth with the liquid since she had left her home. And when she saw a marsh filled with water, her stomach soon strung her like a puppet.
Her legs lifted and she moved with a haunting grace down a hill side and through the ravines. Soon appearing at the edge of the water only but ten yards from Black Lies and Galar. Unlike the wolf, she was new at fishing, and when she spotted fish in the water, her mind lit with a dinner party. Her brown and gray fur reflected the sun as if she was a pampered pooch. She was a rare wolf, and surprisingly healthy, a satin, the shafts of her fur were hollow, illuminating her coat to be as beautiful as could be, a trait she received from her mother.
Blue pearls glanced up and she froze at the sight of a wolf and gator together. She had never seen an alligator before, and never another wolf outside of her pack and their allies. Unlike most wolves, she didn’t give a greeting howl, instead she ignored the brute and lowered her head into the water. Her whole muzzle submerging and she bit violently at the water, almost inhailing it with how thirsty she was. After what seemed like a minute of being underwater, she lifted her head and sneezed the water out of her nose. Eyes clenched shut as her nose burned from the water in it. It was well worth it, but it did hurt.
Now she moved into the water. Thin frame moving with grace, she paused and stared down at a rippling reflection, then continued until the water collapsed just over her back. Fish were swimming around her now flowing fur, the shines attracted some of them, but she had was no hunter, even though she tried. Her head quirked up then plunged down, only to pull up with nothing. Through her hunting, she was wary with the brute and the gator, ready to move quickly out of the water if any of them came up to her. Again her eyes flicked up to them, how could such a beauty hold such darkness in her. Her father was the third most wanted wolf, Vicious, though she had never met him.
Black Lies
onyx hessian jerks his head around when the fatale sneezes, he watches her with silent curiousity. his attention is drawn to her, he wags his tail slightly. she seemed wary of them, but he wanted to meet this femme. there was something... intreeging about her... he whispered to Galar
check out the hottie at 12 o-clock!
continuing to watch the fatale in a friendly manner
Shattered
The brown and gray vix had her head under the water trying to catch another fish when he spoke. Coming up with part of a fin stuck between her teeth. She began to lick at her front teeth then tried to brush the part of fish off and into the water. yuck Was what went through her mind as again she looked in the water. A large fish passed her and swam in their direction. Blue orbs catching the sight of them looking at her through the reflection. Her eyes slowly wondered up to catch their gaze at her.
The fea simply smirked and turned back down into the water, the strong silent type she was. You were lucky if you could get her to say more than one word sentences. Her littermates were all beautiful, though she was the smallest out of the bunch. Dainty with a dainty muzzle, dainty legs and a dainty waist. Her tail stared out thin but grew out into a pompom of fur. However all her dry qualities were under water as once again she lashed her head into the water. Only to once again resurface unsuccessful.
Her face was growing hot with frustration. How in the world do you catch these things! She growled and attempted to catch one more. She could feel its scaly body tease the tip of her fangs, but as soon as she bit down it was gone. Once more she resurfaced and turned to get out of the water.
As the mistress carried herself upon land, she was more brilliant than ever. The water complementing her hollow strands of fur now making her seem more like a jewel. A finely polished copper stone with the reflection of the sun gleaming a pure brilliant gold off of her body. She sighed and laid in the shallow part and looked out to the fish as they seemed to taunt her crying belly. How could such little things move so fast in something she could barely trot in?
Galar
"Life's been good. Great, actually." Galar had replied, showing off one of his alligator grins. His speckled eyes observed the fish, and if he could have drooled, he'd be doing that right now. "Mmm, well, if you're not going to eat the whole thing..." He had caught a young racoon recently, but the creature was small compared to him. A bit of fish would make a nice appetizer, though he didn't want to rob his friend of his meal.
Attention turned to Shattered now and once more he gave that reptillian grin by closing his jaws enough to let all of his teeth be shown. "I may not have an eye for wolves, but I have to admit she's something alright." Galar looked from Shattered to the fish, and then to Black Lies, "Maybe she'd go for a little fish." The grin returned.
Black Lies
Black Lies smiled
here, Galar, eat teh rest of this one. i'll catch another.
he wasnt really hungry anymore, as he had a rabbit a few days before. the onyx wolf nudged the fish towards Galar and smiles onces more
i'll be right back.
he said, picking up a sauntering walk towards the water. his stride was huge, he overstepped where a normal wolf would've stepped by about 6 inches. the magnificent onyx wolf wags his tail, looking gently at Shattered.
want some help?
he spoke, his tone deep. you could tell he was partially evil, but right now he was just in a good mood.
I'm Black Lies. and that big gator over there is Galar. could i ask what you call yourself?
he says, stepping into the water. the large, bulky wolf was an excellent hunter. and he was quite skilled at fishing. he learned his tenqnique from alligators and other wolves, tweeking the way they hunted into a style all his own. he waited for her response before going on to fishing.

The shines and glimmers from the fish’s silver scales illuminated the water as the danced just out of her reach. The water felt good to a warm body and it eased the thought of hunger from her mind. That was.. Until the brute approached. She wasn’t in the mood for company, but she needed to learn social skills sometime.
Crystal blues slowly glanced up to the onyx being and she gave a slight wag of her tail. She wasn’t one for words nor courtesy and it could be seen as she slightly revealed the tips of her fangs. Her hair bubbled on her back since the strands were slightly stuck together. She was making sure he knew not to mess with her or try anything funny. Lips parted in a soft but stern tone, letting him know, also, she was no push over. "Sure." Was her answer to the help, then she waited a moment after he told his name. Hesitating to give her own name, she felt she had spoke enough, but then again... "Shattered..." She growled, then added "Daughter of Vicious" She wasn’t saying it the way one would formally introduce themselves. She was just proud of her father, thus leaving her mother unknown.
Vicious was a well known wolf in the human society, leaving next to no survivors. Shattered was proud to know that of her father, but didn’t like the fact that she had never met him. Her orbs turned back to this new brute her fangs had gone away, but her fur was still a bit up. Ears held back, again she wasn’t one for words. Especially to those she didn’t trust, who was everyone so far.
Black Lies
Black Lies picked up on her tenseness, backing up a step or two as not to make her upset. Vicious.. he'd heard of the brute. never met him though. wagging his tail sligtlyu he advanced forward into the water. he went in to where the water was about up to his belly, then he stood watching the water for a nice sized trout to swim by. ivories are bared as a large, rainbow trout slowly passes near him, he opens his jaws and thrusts his dial into the water. lifts his head, holding in them a thrashing dripping wet trout. he was smiling, always quite proud of his luck with fishing. i guess it was just timing, and quick reflexes. trotting out of the water twards the female, he realized he was too close and stopped. the fish continued to thrash about in his jaws, it was a rather large, 17 inch male trout. ears are perked forward as he awaits permission from the fatale to advance with the fish. he never minded hunting for others, as hunting was whatr he was best at. it was sort of a passion of his. thats why he wanted to make a name for himself.... he was a skilled hunter, so why not aim for the most wanted list? with his luck he jusst might make it. optics scan the surroundings as he ponders the matter over in his mind, nearly forgetting the fish in his mouth all together!
Shattered
Scanners watched as he seemed to easily catch the fish. A rush of envy flooded into her. Though she only gave a soft pout. She had her reasons, she was a pup and had never hunted before, though she wanted to learn and become something recognizable too. Though she wasn't sure if it should be in the humans eyes or the animal eyes yet.
As he came up with the trout she gave a soft grin and let her ears rest to the side and her tail and fur rest at ease. A few wags of her tail to let him know his permission. “Impressive” She spoke softly, and very well impressed. Her words laced with slight envy but she didn’t mean any harm by it. In fact it should have been a complement.
She turned her head, all instincts going against her quiet nature... If he broke her trust, never would she trust another. "Where did you learn how to fish like that?" She said softly, surprised at herself with how many words she had just spoken. Quietly she turned her head toward Galar then to the fish in the marsh. Eyeing at how they moved, then seeing herself catching one. Though she doubted that vision would ever come true. Orbs last mark was back up to him and the trout he had caught.
Black Lies
onyx brute steps closer to the fatale, hauches are lowered into the water below. he didnt care for water all that much really, but it was hot, and the cool marsh water was very refreshing. the water was shallow enough, and the fish had stopped moving about. opening his jaws, he allows the fish to slide out of his mouth to the shallows to sit upon his paws.
thank you. he said, very pleased with himself. he had just turned 3 and a half years old, so he himself wasnt that old. optics scan the fatale's frame once more, he was intriged by her quite naature.
honestly, i taught myself, watching the gators and other wolves fishing...
he had no intentions of losing the fatale's trust. he liked her, and seeing as he didnt really have any friends or family here, it was nice to know he had somebody's trust. he would still need to clean the fish before she ate it, as he himself found it much better tasting without the scales.
so what pack do you belong to?
he was curious, as he was still a loner, with nowhere to stay. he usually hung around the marsh, most of the time conversing with Galar and a few others. his favorite place to sleep just happened to be a flat rock that hung over teh water with another above it that kept him dry from the rain. someday he hoped to have a pack of his own, and to find a mate... he had high hopes and big dreams, though he wasnt sure his dreams would come true. he neer did have much luck with love and ladies... seeing how harsh his past was and all. but he's vowed to put that behind him. banner is wagged as his pink tongue hangs out of his mouth while he pants slightly. ears are pricked as he listens closely for her answer.
Shattered
Glowing copper head turned to the male as he plopped the fish infront of her. Nares dipped down to sniff it then she let her jaws nip at it. She had only recieved a mouth-full of scales and began to spit them out. She washed her face off and spit the scales out then turned to him. "How do you eat it?" She grumbled and stared up to him. Chrystal eyes intent on what he had told her about him teaching himself. Even more impressing though she didn't say that part out loud.
"I was born in my half brother's pack.. though I am a loner now. My half sister has a pack that I may join...." She turned up to him. Then questioned back softly, having a feeling he was a loner as well.. "And you?" She spoke softly and looked back down to the fish, confused at how to eat it.
Black Lies
Black Lies chuckled slightly as she attempted to eat the uncleaned fish
you have to clean it first. come on, i'll show you.
he said happily, picking up the fish in his jaws once more and standing up. leads the way over to a flat rock on the ground, where he drops the fish and waits for her to come as well. when she does, he stands slightly on the rock, one paw on the fish's head and the other is used to scratch at teh bottom of the fish, near its tail. once he gets the scales turned like he wants then, he takes the upturned part in his mouth, paw is places upon the cfishes tail, and he yanks back. the skin of the fish comes off quite easily, he pulls it clear up to the head, where he jerks it of and holds it up. its just a long piece of skin, shimmering becaause of the scales.
i'm a loner as well, i've been here for about a year or so, mainly living in the marsh here. Galar is nice company, and the veiw is nice where i sleep. i'm hoping to start a pack of my own soon...
he said, spitting the skin out onto the ground. flipping the fish over, he upturns the scales there and looks at shattered
would you like to try and clean this side? just do what i did, stand on its head and tail, and hold the upturned scales in your teeth. this side is easier than the first. just pull back and it'll come right off.
he said. he really wasnt you happy happy joy joy wolf. Black Lies had a terrible past and was known really to be evil. but he was soft at heart. always has been, always will be. he steps aside, panting slightly as she took her turn to learn the skills of fishing. Black Lies would teach her anything she wanted to learn. its kinda how he is. he sits facing the rock, smiling slightly.

Copper nymph watched the brute as he took the fish and brought it over to a rock. Her body rolled up onto her belly and long limbs pushed herself up. Striding gracefully up to the rock and staring down at the fish. Spots of wet sand began to form under her dripping body as water pegged the ground. Her eyes quivering in their sockets as she watched closely to how he did his trick. She listened half openly as he spoke of his plans to begin a pack and she replied with a simple question. "What kind of pack?" She said and turned to him gently. Eyes looking to him as if they could hold onto him and draw him in. Soft and gentle but an endless abyss waiting to be explored like the depths of the ocean.
When he told her it was her turn she hesitated, then walked up to the fish. Pushing the head down with one paw and pawing it with the other. Soon she saw a small raise in the skin and she bit at it and pulled it up. Mimicking his movements, she pulled the skin off and flung it to the ground. Watching the fish and sniffing it, then looking to him with questioning eyes... Did Black Lies want to eat first, or could she?
Her head flicked and her tail gave a sweep across the air as she looked to him. Dainty muzzle faced down with her paper thin ears held back. Awaiting to see if he was hungry or not.
Black Lies
onyx brute smiled gently
what kind of pack? ummm... i hadnt really given that much thought...
he chuckled lightly, nodding in approval as she skinned the fish.
eat, dear, i've already had a fish today.
he smiled, wagging his banner as he lays down to simply talk to her as she ate. black lies sincerly found this fatale... intreeging. there was something interesting that drew him to her. and he liked it, as it was most likely a good thing. auds prick as he takes in a breath of fresh, salty air.
Shattered
Audettes flicked about as the onyx brute spoke. Oddly enough, she was settling quite nicely with the brute. She felt no harm from him... so far, it was a feeling of piece, something she rarely felt. Maybe it was a good idea to be with this brute... maybe..
Bronze jaws fell upon the meat as she began to tears and chew. Finally her fangs were satisfied with what had taunted her in the water. She could only savor the taste as it washed in her mouth and then down her throat. Only to be followed by another bite and another.
Glossy tail gave a few wags, her body now dry, she shimmered like a new coin. When she slowed her eating she looked up to Lies. Soft orbs staring gently to his forehead. "What kind of pack as in... One to be known or hidden in the forest? One to go off in many battles or remain peaceful? Will they hunt humans, preditors, or prey?" Small muzzle turned back down as she bit into the fish once again. Only after chewing and swallowing she continued. "What expectations would you have for the pack?" She paused from her meal and watched him for his answers. Her own idea's bubbling in her head, though this wasn't her pack, she'd give no suggestions.
