Secret
The beautiful white wolfess trotted into the marshland, sniffing the air. This was sure no place for someone like her, but the atmosphere was calm and soothing. She just had to watch out for animals like alligators and crocodiles.
Her dial was lifted high, yet her banner was low; signaling she was a loner. Yes, a loner; a beauty like her should have a pack and a mate already. But she didn't, which was actually rather hard to believe, and the fact even managed to startle herself. Oh well; she'de find one sooner or later, or else they would find her. Either way, Secret was fine with it, as long as he wasn't some snobby old brute. He had to have some manners, and at least contain the lightest ounce of rudeness. Yuck; rudeness was something Secret hated, but she often showed it whenever the other did. She couldn't stand for others being snobby and bullyish around her.
With her auds flickering warily, she padded along near the shore, but was alert for any signs of water preditors. The gators and crocs, in other words. A light sigh slipped from her muzzle as she soon slowed her brisk pace, and halted on a large boulder after climbing it's height of 4 feet.
The white fae then pointed her maw skyward, and howled out lonely at the stars which were beginning to twinkle, and the moon which was finally slipping into view of this portion of the earth. She then finished her little song with a yawn, and lowered onto her belly, and curling up into a cozy ball right upon the solid rock. She would just have to search for someone-- anyone-- later. Right now, she needed to catch up a bit on sleep.
Bold and Beautiful
Blazed
Blazed needed a break from the most current happenings in his canyon. The event left the ebony hunter brimming with frustration. There were very few wolves that you could trust these days and it infuriated him. Where was the nobility and glory he had experienced as a very young pup? No longer did wolves keep the peace with each other, instead, they set out to eliminate each other, or at least those who they despised. Oh how he wished to get back for such deceit, but he would not sink to such low levels. He, just as his father, aimed to stay as traditional as possible. A heartrending forlorn howl jerked Blazed out of his silent fuming. He whipped his regal cranium around and his icy sapphire pools alit on an alabaster figure. The captain noted her stance with a hint of amazement. The majority of lone wolves he had run into did not look quite like she. She did not look gaunt or weak, and it intrigued him. Throwing caution to the wind, as was often his nature, he turned around and made his way towards the vixen. He observed the porcelain minx as he traveled. She was not, as he gathered, one of those wolves who considered themselves to be Cavilier, he was quite sure as she had not been approached by any such characters. He raised his tail and crown, assuming his alpha position.
Making as much noise as he possibly could while walking, he closed the distance between her rock and himself. He knew from experience he did not like to be snuck up upon, and he did not want to start off on the wrong paw with this fae. Upon reaching the colorless fae’s perch, he cleared his throat and waited to be acknowledged. He cast a cautionary eye over her sleeping form, making last minute judgements.
Secret
The wind had been blowing swiftly, with a warm, eager feeling. It brushed the white wolfess' sleek pelt around, giving her a somewhat misty feeling. But Secret; she could never be gaunt nor weak. She was too smart. She usually stayed out of trouble, she was perfectly healthy, and she had to wildlife wits for survival. Secret had never been in a lousy state before, and it's what made her keep going strong. She didn't want to ever break the line of clean health and stature.
With her incredibly keen senses, particularly her flickering auds, she caught the oncoming sounds and, with her flaring nares, the smell as well, her dial lifted elegantly, and her cloud-blue eyes landed on the brute. She didn't know him, and was quickly becoming suspicious. Why was he standing so near? She gave a gruff snort, and narrowed her eyes. "Who are you?" she asked after a short, silent pause in movements. She could hear her own heart beating. Giving a light sigh, she turned her head a bit and began licking at her lower shoulder, washing some collecting dirt and dust off of her hueless pelt. She then gazed approvingly at it, before turning her head back to him. She was still lying there, auds pricked. This was a bit awkward to her, but oh well. There was a first time for everything, yet she really never was one for laying down when the other was standing.
She awaited the unknown brute's answer, vowing to herself that she would only give her own name if she knew of the others' first. She couldn't give away important info like that; especially, to a wolf she had no clue about or had even ever seen before.
Blazed
Blazed's upward glance remained steady as the blanched femme regarded him warily. He ceased his approach as not to get too close, he himself was a big fan of personal space, and was not one to willingly intrude, unless of course a threat was posed. The ebony brute's twin peaks drank in the vixen's query and sat back on his haunches. She didn't sound too thrilled with his appearance, nor did she seem quite interested as she abruptly went to primping herself. His pale blue eyes narrowed slightly but in the next moment, he wiped his features clean of all emotion but the cold hard scrutiny common to this alpha.
"Good afternoon. My name is Blazed, alpha male of Toklat Canyon." A brusque but polite nod accompanied his salutation. Now he waited for her to return the favor. Blazed was intending on offering her a home in Toklat Canyon, but at this rate he highly doubted she'd jump on the offer.
