Jais

It had again been a long while since Jais had seen his beloved Tri-Tundra, but their last meeting had put a flicker of hope in his dying heart. All the time he had feared she was dead, she had been alive. He only hoped now that it was not death that kept his Tri-Tundra away, but some other circumstances which could be overcome.

The warmth of the spring day did some to shine light on the otherwise sullen wolf, bouying his spirits a bit as he trekked across the sodden landscape. Although his stomach rumbled of hunger, Jais was not on the lookout for food. Stilling walking, Jais let out a short, ringing howl to the world. He didn't know if he'd get a response or not.

Nachi & Cavan

Nachi and Cavan, side by side, came trotting slowly over the marshy ground. "Hello, brother!" Nachi called out, her voice ringing brightly with ill-intent and sarcasm. Beside her, Cavan looked grim-faced and determined, though part of it was from his injuries. He was limping badly and moving slow.

"Wolf-brother, Jais." Nachi said, drawing closer to the white wolf, "It's been so long since we've seen each other, am I right? What have you been up to all this time?"

Legosa

Legosa had been troubled when he returned to his terra only to find that his mate and offspring were missing. Cursing himself for going along with White Noise's, plan instead of killing him right then and there, Legosa took off to find one of his few allies.

When he finally came upon Cavan, Legosa gave a gruff bark and stalked quickly forward without so much as a leerly glance to Nachi and Jais, "Cavan, there's more pressing issues at paw than sibling rivalry. I can't find Aaka or our young. Mind helping out?" He asked, his voice short and irritated.

Nachi & Cavan

Nachi glared hotly at Legosa, her tail swooshing peculiarly from side to side. "You say pups are... missing?" Behind her anger, there was a gleam of interest in her eyes.

Cavan spoke hastily, "They're adolescents, Nachi. Too big to steal now; and besides, he's our ally." The brother said, casting an appologetic look to Legosa because of his sister's intentions.

Nachi huffed, "Oh well, I'll find other ones. Seeing as you two are busy, I'll go find something entertaining. Catch up with you latter, Brother." She said, giving Cavan a nuzzle before sauntering away.

Cavan returned the nuzzle, then turned to Legosa. "I'll help, of course. Where should we start?"

Legosa

Legosa rumbled quietly at Nachi, but didn't say anything as she left. "If I knew where to look for them, then they wouldn't be lost, would they?" He replied to Cavan, his eyes narrowed in annoyance. "Your guess is as good as mine. Use your nose."

Cavan

He grumbled something under his breath, but gave a nod. "Might as well start at your land; I might be able to pick out a scent there." With a destination, the scarred wolf swung to the east, heading at a brisk pace for the Silver Glades terra.
