Ninaki

The solo beta decided to have a bit of time alone, although he always stayed in earshot of the Alleys. Ninaki never really got over the death of his mate, but he was trying at least to find something to ease his mind. The hybrid made his way to the frozen waters, tredding carefully over the crystal serface and watching for any weak spots.

Fresca, Walker, Skip, & Cherry

The four had been wondering around on their own when Fresca picked up on Ninaki's scent. Though it had been a long while since she last scented him, the odor was instantly familiar and caused the hairs about her back to stand in agression. "It's one of them" The dog snarled quietly as the other three gathered around to listen, "It seems that he's alone, but I'd be watchful."

Fresca guided her little group around behind Ninaki, careful to stay down wind and out of sight in the dead vegetation, "It is rare that they are by themselves, but this might just be a great opportunity for us. We need to attack quick, and..." She looked around before getting an idea, "Dump his body under the water. We must do what we can to erease his scents and ours, for the Lurkers will try to track us." The others nodded their heads, eager for the assault.

With Fresca taking the lead, the four spanned out and headed onto the ice, where their claws would probably click against the solid serface and give their presence away. But Fresca worried not, for she felt they still had the upper hand. Picking up speed, she charged straight for Ninaki. Her jaws were held low and wide, ready to take the hybrid by the throat. Walker was a bit slower than his mate, but he nearly kept pace with her. He went for Ninaki's stomach. Skip and Cherry each went for a hind limb.

Ninaki

Ninaki was not a member of the infamous Shadow Lurkers for nothing. He caught the sounds of their approach the moment they set paw on the ice. Whirling around, the hybrid quickly sized up his opponents and knew that he was outmatched. Turning back the otherway, Ninaki began to run for all he was worth, while giving a quick, high howl. He heard the jaws of his enemies clamp shut on air, just inches from his flesh. His legs moved faster, carrying him with great urgency from the attackers.

Fresca, Walker, Skip, & Cherry

Fresca ran as fast as she could, baying and barking eagerly like a hound on a trail. "Don't let him escape! He's a prime target!" The others kept pace with their leader this time, snapping feverishly at the fleeing hybrid's legs. The craved a taste of his blood.

Ebony Sky

She had been around the area, not quite in Galar's Marsh but she was tracking a very familiar scent. Ebony Sky immidiatly perked her ears hearing a familiar bark even if it seemed a bit urgent. "Fresca!" She called aloud to herself in a bliss tone. She had gotten seperated from Fresca and Kansa for awhile now but finnaly she found them again. She wasn't sure what was going on but she'd continue to follow the scent she knew that was mixed with other scents un recognized by her. she immidiatly darted after the scent.

Fresca, Walker, Skip, & Cherry>

Fresca stopped abruptly, almost tripping and sliding across the slick ice as she did so. Walker and the others stopped as well, although Cherry halted a bit too suddenly and toppled on her side, slipping across the ice and tripping Walker. The coonhound fell too, with a startled yelp.

Fresca glanced from her fallen members back to the shape she saw running towards her across the frozen water. Her eyes narrowed, trying to see the form better. Then it hit her! "Ebony!" She barked, totally forgetting about Ninaki and racing to meet her dear friend half way.

Walker and the others gathered themselves up, rather dishevelled and embarrassed. They knew who Ebony was from the stories that Fresca told them, but this was their first time meeting her. The followed Fresca, but stayed politely behind her.

Ebony Sky

She nearly slipped as well but managed to stop upon meeting Fresca half way and without any words she would nuzzle Fresca when she reached her. "I missed you so much!" She yipped excitedly. She would have greeted those behind Fresca and would in a few moments. Right now she just wanted to be sure this was real... that she was finnaly back...

Fresca, Walker, Skip, & Cherry

Fresca nuzzled her back, overcome with joy at finding Ebony Sky, whom she feared had been killed by the Lurkers. "And I missed you! You bring a lot of joy with your return, Ebony." The dog said, her voice tender. It felt so good to finally have some good luck, when it seemed that all else was against them.

The other three came up closer, wanting to get a good look at this wolf whom they had heard so much about. Fresca smiled to them, "This is my mate, Walker." She nodded to the coonhound, who was a touch smaller than Fresca. Next she looked to the husky mix, "Skip," and to a chocolate lab, "Cherry. There are three others; Yanis, Delfi, and Falkan, but they are in another pack at the moment."

Ebony Sky

"I'm glad then." She yipped happily then glanced to the others as they aere all introduced. "Nice to meet you all." Her tone was friendly and still held excitement but something was missing. She paused then glanced to Fresca. "Wheres Kansa?" She asked slightly worried that he may have been killed or what not.

Fresca, Walker, Skip, & Cherry

The others greeted Ebony with friendly nods and 'nice to meet you's' .Then Fresca's face hardened a bit at Kasna's name. Her voice wavered faintly, "He has fallen." The others around her now looked away. "We had to leave the Valley for a while. And from what I hear... the Lurkers have grown quite strong. But," The mixbreed gave some confidence to her words, "I have found a good deal of allies that will help us in destroying the Lurkers, once and for all." But what Fresca didn't know was, almost every single one of those 'allies' were actually members of the Shadow Lurkers pack, who had been deployed by Hydras to trick the Alley Pack. But if there was anything going for the poor pack, it was that another enemy was looming in the Lurker's horizon. One that might help turn the tides against them, or at least save the Alley pack from destruction.

Ebony Sky

Ebony would avert her gaze to the ground sorrowfully hearing the news of Kansa and that he had fallen. "That is unfortunate... poor Kansa..." She said with a soft sigh then looked up at the mention of the Lurkers. She growled lightly at their mention still feeling hate and distain towards them. She was glad to hear news of allies though. "That's good... at least something is looking up." She gave a small faint smile then glanced at the others before her attention went back to Fresca. "Who was that you were chaising? Was it one of the Lurkers?" She decided to ask her curiousity getting the better of her. "I am sorry I distracted you from it..."

Fresca, Walker, Skip, & Cherry

She looked back, but the hybrid was surely gone by now, "Ah, that was Ninaki. Remember him? The beta of their pack, from what we know." Fresca smiled again, "Don't worry about it; there's always next time." She paused now, changing the subject, "Would you like to meet White Noise? He's our new alpha, and he's given us a place to live." Among her own pack, Fresca and Walker were the alphas, but when they were around White Noise, they had to take the beta position.

Ebony Sky

"Ah yes I think I do remember that troublesome Lurker." She then gave a nod glad Fresca wasn't mad. When she heard the suggestion she perked up her ears. "Of course, that would be fine. Lead the way!" She chimed the last part.

Ninaki

He had bolted away from the group, greatly relieved that this other fae showed up. The name was instantly familiar to him, and he cast one quick glance to make sure. Yes, that was definitely her! The beta continued to run, until he was safely out of sight.

Fresca, Walker, Skip, & Cherry

Her banner waved proudly in the air now, her spirits soaring. "I'm sure you'll like him and the others. They all share our hatred of the Lurkers." Fresca turned carefully about on the ice, not wanting to trip. Then she headed eastward, making her way for the Sora Aisiatic.

Walker, Skip, and Cherry fell in line behind their alpha, though all of them made way for Ebony Sky. They knew that Fresca thought highly of her.

Ebony Sky

Ebony Sky wagged her tail as she gave a quick nod of her head then followed after Fresca happily. She was glad that Fresca was doing well, as well as Walker, Skip, and Cherry even if she had just met the three.
