Ethan

A faint 'pinging' sound echoed out over the marshes as Ethan walked about. He held a small tracking device, equipped with a lengthy anttenea, which was now locking onto Rocky's signal. The chip embedded in his scruff.

Knowing full well of his star fighter's aggression, the man had a second device clutched in his other hand. A small blackish box with a knob on it.

As he went along, Ethan whistled out a sharp, distinct note. He would use this call to train, or try to train, Rocky to come to him.

Rocky Road

Ears laid back on his skull as the tracking device made its noise. But it wasn't the noise that bothered him, but the prickling feeling he ad up and down hsi spine. It didn't hurt, but sure was annoying. His hackles raised as the scent of the human came to him. He yearned to sink his fangs into the beast's neck, but there was that demon box. He dropped to a hunting crouch before Ethan could see him, hiding amongst the marsh's ferns. The whistle came to him and he wished to ran, but he would surely see him (he did not know that the man probably already knew where he was). Ethan's eyes swung down to the other box on which he made his move. Stalking quietly he began back tracking, away from the man with the weird powers of causing him pain.

Ethan

Ethan turned towards Rocky Road, following the acurate little radar he had. The man didn't see his fighter, but technology did. Now he frowned and a growl of words came from his mouth as Rocky moved away. Ethan picked up his pace, following the radar as he did, but he was not nearly so fast as Rocky Road.

Ethan's eyes suddenly lifted, looking in the general direction of Rocky's path. Smirking a bit, he turned the dial on the box that would shock the hybrid. It would be enough to force some kind of reaction out of the fighter, but not quite enough to paralyze him. Ethan watched keenly for any extra movement or noise.

Rocky Road

Rocky was surprised to say the least when the human accurately followed him, was his hunting croush that bad? Or did this human have some ability he did not know of? He loped a little faster but it was obviosly who would win this race, and it was him. He smiled softly as he continued to run away.

But then that terriable feeling came to him again, up and down his spine. Pain he could not even began to describe. He yelped unvolunaterily and stumbled awkwardly. He righted himself and began a full out run, not caring about stealth anymore. He was free, and he wasn't going to give it up easily. He grimaced as some evidence of the pain still ran up and down his spine (less painful then before) but still made him twitch now and then.

Ethan

Ethan's eyes darted swiftly to the new and eratic movements in the brush. The yelp further pin-pointed Rocky's position to the man. "There you are!" he spoke harshly under his breath. He quickly picked up his pace, now able to follow his fighter's path through the low brush of the Marsh. But his boots quickly bogged down in the mire, and it didn't help that he had only two legs to throw his weight around on, while Rocky had four. Ethan was forced to slow his run to a swift walk, or risk falling flat on his face if a boot sunk too deep into the muck.

Again he whistled, and this time added another call, "Hault!" Now the dial was turned again, but this time enough to temporarily paralyze Rocky Road for a few seconds.

Rocky Road

He heard the great noises the man made behind him, telling the hybrid that the human was not going to let him go. That dreadful whistle came again, but he was not planning to come to it like any housepet. He picked up the speed even more now, his body only a blur around the Marsh. But he did not go far in his new speed, for the dial was turned again. he was about to leap into his new gait, his front paws already in the air, when it struck. His front paws curled underneath him, his voice emitting a tortured yelp, his spine curled with the shock and he found himself not able to break his fall that his already achieved mommentum was beginning. He landed in the bog head first and crumpled there, paralyzed. But it was not long before he gingerly picked himself up again, his fur now matted with mud. He looked up at his pursuer and growled, a sound from deep in his throat. His lips formed a deadly frame around his white fangs, hackles raised and tail erect. Running was not an option now, but there were more then one way to escape.

He now faced Ethan, looking all like some nightmare, the figther he truly was. Rocky was not going to be easy to train, not unless some how is spirit was broken. But that probably would not be a smart idea on Ethan's part, it was his fighting spirit that he wanted after all.

Ethan

He paced quickly to where he last saw the tall reds and vegetation shake in Rocky's fall. As Ethan finally reached the scene, his heart leapt at the sight of his fighter; what a dreadfully awsome creature he had obtained! A twinge of fear ran through his nerves, but the cold man showed not an ounce of this feeling on the outside. Not to Rocky Road. That would be a terrible mistake.

Instead, he bared his own teeth in a cruel smirk as his dark eyes squinted with pleasure. Now his mouth contorted as strange human words came out, seeming taunting and harsh. Ethan turned away slightly as one sound rose sharp and distinct above the others, "Come!" Then there was that whistle. He took a few steps away from Rocky, but his head was turned so always there was an eye watching the brute, ready for defensive measures. And also waiting to see if Rocky understood what was wanted, or if he would even respond to it.

Rocky Road

He was slightly dissapointed that the man did not show fear on his face, but knew the man could be very well hiding it. He sniffed the air once and scent it, fear. Very faint, hardly recognizable, but it was there. Then it was gone. Oh, he was good. That scared Rocky Road a bit. What did he have that made him so at ease with an over 100 pound killer right next to him?

The man bared his own teeth and he snarled wickedly, advanign a step. Rocky Road ignored the words, they had no meaning to him. Just another human blabbing. But then the one word struck out ot him, was it a command? He began walking away, seeming like he expected him to follow. In his dreams. He made a noise almost like laughing amongst his growling. He did not move from his own defense position, waiting for the human's reaction.

Lena

Lena had been watching the man and Rocky Road for a while. She watched as Rocky was shocked two time and then when the man said his command. She thought about just watching but then she should help a fellow canine. Dropping into a hunters crouch she stalked the man keeping her eyes on him. Her white coat would stand out in the mud but as long as she kept quiet and the man didn't turn around she would be okay. She crept up behind the man then leapt. Her jaws open ready to clamp onto the mans neck hoping to breack it cleanly. She wished to taste the mans blood when she sank her fangs into his neck. If he didn't do something his neck could be broken by Lena's jaws...

Ethan

Ethan was about to reprimand Rocky Road, with both a sharper command and a little shock, but something caught his attention. As much as he had been focusing on his fighter, for he knew his life depended on that, he still knew how dangerous the Valley had become. And Ethan was not your average town-dweller idiot either; he spent much of his time away from the bustle of the town; except for work and, of course, his dog-fighting.

Something... some very faint noise of Lena's approach, managed to alert Ethan. He wasn't at all aware of what it was, but he turned sharply just as the newcomer had gone into her leap. A blur of white was flying towards him and Ethan didn't waste a second in reacting. Not wanting to bring harm to his life-saving shocker box, the man used the tranciever as defence. He swung the metal box at the leaping wolf, catching her square in the muzzle and sending her to the ground. Although he didn't seem to have a muscular build at all, the man was surprisingly strong.

Another few words of anger came from his mouth now and he took a hasty step back. During this brief moment of defense against Lena, his hand was tightly gripping the shocker-box, ready to shock Rocky if he had tried to take a chance at attacking.

Lena

As she hit the ground she was instantly on her feet. She snarled at the man for giving her the wack on her nose. It throbbed considerably but she didn't show any sign of being hurt. She kept low to the ground as she eyed him all the while her lips pulled up in a snarl. Her fangs stainedfrom her last attack on humans she licked them ready to taste this mans blood. Her hackles raised as she made a leap at his arm holding the black box. She made sure she was ready to move away if he tried to strike her again.

Rocky Road

The hybrid's growling increased as the white she-beast approached, though his eyes stayed on Ethan. He did not like the idea of another helping him, he didn't need another's help. His anger began bubbling at the thought. But in the back of his mind, he hoped she would find her mark.

He jumped back in an alarmed, loud series of barks, as the she-beast lunged and Ethan hit on her nose. But in the same momment he was also went for the man's throat, hoping the distraction would give him a good chance. But at the moment, if the white beast got in his way, he would gladly try to take her life as well. And which, unfortunately for the both of them, she did.

They leaped the same time, and in anger Rocky turned on her. He dived at her with jaws open, fangs yearning to dig themselves in her back or throat area. He was on a blood lust now. Angry that the man was hurting him without touching him at all, angry that the man wished to force him into obedience, and angry that this she-wolf was trying to help him.

Lena

She wasn't expecting Rocky to go for her but she was still ready. She twisted away from Rocky's jaws. What the hell was wrong with him? Did he not want her help? She snarled at him and asked what the hell are you doing? Go for the man. She bared her fangs at him warning him to stay away. Was he mad that she did help? If he was fine then, she would let him deal by himself. If you don't want my help just tell me alright?

Ethan

Ah, now he had to multi-task! His sharp mind was alerted of Rocky's agressive movements, and without much thought, the shocker-box was put into play once more, along with a vocal cue, "Down!" He shouted loudly, giving his fighter a good dose of electric shock. At the same time, he sprung back in a motion surprisingly nimble for a human, although by no means out of human capabilities. He was no superman!

His jump aside could have caused Lena to collide with Rocky Road, who at the time was getting a good shock. It was his hope, actually, that such a thing would happen, for he wanted Rocky to fight. More than money, Ethan loved to see the fights; he was a twisted man.

As he regained his composure from his jump, he noticed a stinging sensation on his hand, and glanced down to see a dark crimson liquid spreading over several of his fingers. Once again his vocals were at work, cursing a storm at Lena who had managed to leave a few good gashes across his hand and fingers. His transever box had a mark on it too, where one of her teeth must have grazed by.

Rocky Road

Rocky was able to compress the yelp this time, but could not help from colliding into Lena. He snarled dangerously and turned his attention to her, how dare she get in the way! As soon as he recovered (which was actually pretty quick) he lunged at the she-beast, growling wickedly. He was aiming for the neck area, but anywhere on her back would do as well.

Lena

She felt Rocky's jaws connect with the skin on her back. She felt a trickle of blood go down her white coat staining it crimson. She was pissed now all she did was try to help him. She growled and twisted out of his grasp going for his neck. Her fangs longed to go into his flesh, taste his blood, he was in for it now.

Rocky Road

Rocky did not pick battles for any reason, he was good. He knew how to keep himself alive and ready for another one. After all, he was born and raised in an active pit. Fight. Kill. Fight. Kill. It seemed to go on forever. And he was not standing there before them for nothing. He survived. He knew how to kill.

He gained energy from the blood he spilt, digging in as deep as his powerful jaws would allow him too as soon as he made contact. He jerked his still closed fangs away as she twisted to get free, ready for a counterattack. He smiled at her in the brief moment in between, tuanting her. He was still ready for the throat attack, his head protective locked over his jugalur and he twisted his body so her fangs ended up opening his shoulder. he would be stiff at walking for a day or two but he would survive for another battle, that was all that mattered.

Even before her jaws made contact safly away from his throat he prepared for his next attack, eyes twinkling with joy. He croached down close to her frame and at the next instant lunged upwards, teeth raking all of the underside he could get of the witch, his teeth quickly taking any hold then ripping away for the next one.

Defiance

He watched as the mand hybrid and wolf fought. He was against the man and Rocky. Rocky attacked Lena for no reason and the man well... he was human. He jumped into the battle and tried to close his jaws around the back of Rocky Roads neck. He growled at him and ripped at his neck sinking his fangs into his flesh.

Lena

She felt a stab of pain on her underbelly and her eyes glistened with anger. She went into a blind rage and attacked Rocky's face sratching and biting it. She tasted Rocky's blood and craved for more. She tore at him not really caring where her marks hit. Her eyes glistened with joy as she also saw another wolf go for Rocky.

Rocky Road

Rocky laughed as he made contact with the she-beast's belly, seem to be unaware of her sudden mad attack, not a good idea. He turned his backside on her so he could face the other wolf approaching, his face bleeding here and there threatening scars in the future but he could still fight. He may be fighting one but that didn't mean he let canines sneak up on him. No siree. He laughed at the wolf, "joining the play?" Be backed up into the she-wolf when he lunged, hoping to use his great mace to knock her off track and escaped the clutches of the other's jaws. Before Lena could react to him being so close. He lunged on the other, carrying his full weight onto the other's back as he was recovering from his intial lunge. His jaws sought for a hold on the other's spine, but any would do. He held this grip, ready to swing the black wolf into the she-beast as soon as he got it.

Lena

She calmed her anger so she could control her actions. She went for Rocky as he went for the other wolf. She went to grab old of his back leg aiming to break it. Her powerful jaws were most likly to hit her mark so in that leg he would most likely be crippled for some time.

Defiance

He felt Rocky's jaws on his back and swung around and tried to grab hold of his shoulder. He pulled his weight down not letting the wolf try and swing him around or anything. He laughed at Rocky and grinned at Lena. He lived to fight, it was cool. He growled at Rocky before trying to tear into his shoulder again.

Rocky Road

Rocky growled when the wolf wasn't moving, but wasn't expecting it unless the wolf was caught by surprise. He tore his jaws away, without opening them, and growled at the she-wolf, who was at the moment holding his paw in his mouth. Swiping at the male's ears and eyes as he swung around, he attacked her vital face. He did not let anger take control of him though, and had reason for every attack. First for the nose, then the eyes, then the ears. All in quick motions, his speed amazing. As soon as the jaws were slacked, even a bit, he would take the oppurtanity and move it out of harm's way.

Nenuz

The cougar wathced tail swishing back and forth impatiently he wanted the taste of blood humans blood maybe wolves blood he couldn't decide he leapt out of the tree and into view and looked at the wolf then the human he roared at the humah he liked humans blood

Lena

She scratched his face as he tried to attack hers. She moved her jaws up to the leg and bit down hard. She didn't care when er face was scratched but she did care if it was big. She growled at him and bit down harder waiting for the crack of a broken bone. Her paws slashed out at Rocky evertime she got the chance.

Rocky Road

Her paws was not his concern, for they were blunt, hardly doing any damage to him. Aw, but it was her mistake for moving her jaws around. He was waiting for this moment and quickly slipped his foot out of harm's way, jumping up from the awkward position as he slashed once again at her defenseless face parts. He swung out of both their ranges and glared over at the new feline, eyes narrowed, "What are you doing here?" The cougar had no reason to be here, unless it wished to feed on the dead. Fool, was he not able to hunt for himself? He kept alert of the other's movements but did not want to fight this supernatural powered human, two wolves, and cougar at the same time. He too was not superma... hybrid.

Nenuz

To watch you get beaten. He replied he disliked the creature a waste of time he could kill him if he wanted to but he would wait he liked to watch.

Nenuz

He went into a pounce mode he would taste wolves blood ignoring the female he pounced at the male staying where he was would be stupid he would most likely lose his life. His muscles rippled under his pelt claws and teeth glisteneing in the sun aww the taste of blood.

Lena

The she wolf ripped her head around just getting a scratch on the cheek. She snarled at Rocky and tried to grab his shoulder. She was on her feet and darting in and out at him slashing with her teeth and claws. Her fangs tried to make conection with his shoulder, painful. She looked at the cougar wondering what it was going to do.

Rocky Road

The she-wolf's fangs shaved off some off some of his fur as he swung away, but no damage to him. He laughed openly at the cougar, what a fool. he weasled out of the way of the wolf's other attacks, getting scraps here and there, but that was not his concern as the cat leapt. Seeing she was distracted by the beast he ignored her as he rushed the cat already in the air, knowing he (even the great cat he was) could not twist out of his attack. It was already in the air, its course already determined. He ran underneath teh cat with great speed and lept up, and at the same time swinging hsi hindquarters behind the cat's shoulders. He fangs aimed for any belly hold, for any would be a great loss for the beast. But he was ready to back out of the way after he bite and tore, knowing full well how much damage a cougar's claws can inflict.

Ethan

Ethan stepped quickly back from the ruckus. He knew he could handle the wolves; he'd worked with agressive canines all his life. But a cougar... that was another matter. His features bore no trace of concern or fear, but just a look of deadly intent and anger. Through scent though, as Rocky had discovered, the man's fear was evident.

Stuffing the transever and shocker-box into his pockets, Ethan roved his eyes over the ground to find a weapon. Finding just what he sought, Ethan knelt slowly down, now focusing his sharp, cold gaze on the four fighters. As he stood back up, a soggy branch was clutched in one hand, dripping wet from being in a small pool of weed-choked water. It was a locus branch, armed with dozens of wooden spikes, several inches long, and branching out in every direction. These armored trees thrived in the marshy lands. And one of the many sharp thorns had already pierced his arm where he held it close, but Ethan ignored the pain.

Now he reached into a back pocket and pulled out a long knife; something he always carried on him, just in case. Now armed with two sufficient weapons, Ethan came forward at a surprising speed and gave a terrible yell as he swung the locus branch at Nenuz's back. If the cougar did not spring away, dozens of spikes would be embedded up to two inches into his flesh. Now the other arm was held back, clutching tightly to the knife. Ethan was willing to watch Rocky fight two wolves, but a cougar was just too much, and he didn't want to loose his fighter.

Ethan & *Weather*

As Ethan pulled back, standing poised for a counter attack by the cougar, a blinding light split through the air less than a mile away. A second later came the deafening roar of thunder. Ethan glanced upward and realized that the sky had grown exceptionally dark in a rather short time; a storm front had moved in! The clouds swirled in deep, dark masses that seemed stained with yellow. A second flash of lightning blazed to the ground very near the fighting group; close enough to throw them all to the ground in a daze, but without touching them.

Ethan picked himself up, leaving the branch behind and stuffing the knife in his pocket. Now he brought out the shocker box and looked to Rocky, "COME!" he shouted and then began to run swiftly away. If anything, he hoped his fighter would want to chase him. As he began to run, he looked to the sky and a shiver ran down his spine. Any moment now, it would begin to hail. Hail that could bust out windows.

Ethan could see his truck waiting in the distance, sitting atop some higher ground. He glanced back to see if Rocky had choose to follow or not. And then whether the shocker box needed to be used...

Rocky Road

Rocky snarled dangerously as Ethan came running with the sharp club, thinking at first he was going after him. BUt as he realized the true target he moved out of the way, running almost right into the she-wolf. He snarled again and made as if to bite her neck, but stopped as the first bolt of lightning filled up the dark sky. When did it get dark? He paused and backed up and twitched involunatarily as the thunder rolled by. It was close, he had to find shelter. He had already decided to run for it when the second lightning came, but was mommentarily dazed from the impact. The hybrid shook it off and dashed away to the closest den he knew of, which was, fortunately for Ethan, past his truck. And so it looked like as if the canine was running straight to it, ahead of the man.

He growled at the truck, making a wide circle around it. The den was not far away, he could make it before the storm hit.

Ethan & *Weather*

Ethan continued to look back, nearly tripping over clumps of thick reeds and logs. The shocker box was held tightly and he nearly pressed it, but noticed at the last moment that Rocky didn't seem to be going for him. Ethan put on a burst of speed; as fast as he could go without tripping and getting stuck in the boggy ground with his heavy boots.

Once he saw that Rocky was by the truck, Ethan shocked him with the highest voltage, to paralyze him for a moment. He didn't have time try and catch the fighter with the storm threatening to break through. He finally reached the truck and gaze Rocky one last pulse of stunning electricity that would daze him for a moment longer.

He used this time to grab a leash and collar and slip it over Rocky's neck. With great effort, he hauled up the stunned hybrid and shoved him into a crate in the back of the truck. Then he hurriedly jumped into the cab and the vehicle roared to life. In the distance, the horizon became a blur where the rain had begun to pour. Very quickly, the pouring wall of water headed towards the truck as the storm front moved along at a rapid pace. The truck jarred forward, throwing up mud and weeds as the wheels spun frantically. Then it shot forward and bounced along the unneven terrain, trying to outrace the storm as he headed for the Pit.

Rocky Road

Going towards the truck seemed to be the wrong of way doing things for as soon as he was in dragging distance, a great shock tortured his spine. He couldn't even yelped it hurt so much. The great beast went face first in the bog and stayed there, his fur on end and limbs twitching.

With great difficulty he raised his shaking limbs, knowing it was no help to him by staying out in the open. He made to run, though he was still a bit disoriented, but was cut short by yet another stunning blow. His spine bent in a painful arch but he was able to stay on his legs, his eyes closed and mouth open in a silent yelp. He was un aware of the collar and leash being wrapped around him, and was dead weight of 130 pounds or so for Ethan.

He looked grogerily around his cage but did not protest. Not yet anyway, he had to save his strength. He shifted to a more comfortable poistion in the cramped cage and growled softly as the car roared to life. He hit one side of the cage as it lurched forward, his growled increased in annoyance. The rain began to pelt him then, and in his mind it couldn't get any worse.

Lena

She growled at Rocky and watched as the ran away. She gave a small smile to the cougar and other wolf before limping away to the ladys house to see if she could get some help.
