Demi, Rezi, & Gator
The three new alligators of the valley plopped up onto the shore, wondering where they were at. This seemed like the best place for them to be, but they weren't sure. They wobbled along, slowly, looking at the new sights.
They hoped they could find a nice, suitable home here. Where other gators lived and where the terrain best fit them the most.
The friends stopped to bathe in the sun's warm rays. Demi crawled over to the shore again and pulled his legs in underneath him and he closed his gold colored eyes and enjoyed the warmth.
Rezi slowed down and plopped down by a dead tree that was half hanging in the murky water. She closed her mustard eyes too and almost dozed off but stayed awake a little. She opened her large mouth, revealing many, many sharp prickly teeth along the edges. Her long fat tail was curved around her side.
Gator walked to the middle of the other two and pulled his own legs in. He laid in a straight line; his entire body was in a straight line. His tail was uncurved. He tried to keep awake but their long journey here tired him out too much; he managed to doze off.
None of them were really in the mood for getting up and walking around much again.
Dima
A two year-old alligator was cruising slowly along the edge of the bank. Being a youngster, he was only a few feet long and still made an easy meal for many other animals. He was missing part of his tail and one of his legs; old injuries recieved when he was attacked by other alligators. He was also very thin and weak.
Dima froze as he spotted the other gators. They were new, he could tell. They didn't look sickly like the others. The alligator didn't move in the water, but floated their stock-still to see if they had noticed him. He learned the hard way that other alligators saw him as a free meal. And these three were bigger than him, and probably faster since he was weak and missing some parts.
