Nightcrawler

Heading at a leisurely gate across the frozen land, Nightcrawler kept a keen surveyance around him. He was glad to get away from Silver Skye and the infection she carried, although he didn't know just what it was.

A familiar scent caused the fur along his neck to raise ridgedly high. Legosa! The nightly-stained brute sniffed around, picking out all the scents. There were quite a few here, including one of a cougar. And some scent that reminded him of Black Fyre.

Legosa

Legosa returned to the marshes to get away from all the commotion in his new 'home'. What he found here draw an evil smirk to his long muzzle. The large mongrel approached Nightcrawler at an easy, quite pace and spoke in a laughing, daring tone, "Looks like the humans forgot to take care of one of the filthy strays." Legosa began to circle the wolf, "I hope you still aren't looking for Kivo's brother, are you? Or the rat's friend, Vivek?"

The Hunter and the Hunted

Evil seductress moved to Legosas side and she whispered so only he could hear "Attack him. Someone like him doesnt deserve to live." she may not have known the other wolf or even Legosa. But she knew who he was by his smell. He lived at the Silver Glades. He smelled somewhat like her good friend Aaka. She smirked at the other wolf and continued to trot next to Legosa. She heard a crack in the trees and her pathetic excuse of a brother came out of the woods.

The Hunted gulped as he slunk towards his confident and proud sister The Hunter. He spoke softly to her "Hunter....maybe you should....you know....stop....You made your point. Please stop...." he sounded pathetic and he knew it. He had tried once for Hunters sypthay and he could se now that it wasnt going to happen. She growled low and covered the distance between them quickly she turned to Legosa once and smirked and said in a cool voice "Let me demonstrate." she grabbed Hunted by his shoulder and began to forcefully drag him towards the forest. She didnt feel like dealing with her brother right now

Nightcrawler

Nightcrawler turned around, keeping his eyes on Legosa and letting his fur bristle high. His back was arched with fear, but his fangs were bared to state he'd fight if he must. "Legosa, why do you act this way?" His voice was almost pleading in quality, for Nightcrawler was shy and peaceful wolf. His striking yellow orbs shot towards Hunter with a show of confusion and hurt, although he didn't know her. This is what happened last time... Mitya and Legosa turned on him and Jais for no apparent reason.

"Legosa, you know what happened last time you messed with my pack. Remember taking Vivek... this time, Ghost might not be there to save you." Nightcrawler would do all he could to stall or prevent a fight. Besides disliking confrentations, he wasn't the largest canine around, although he had keen agility.

Legosa

His keen ears told him there were two others. But the trace of Aaka's own scent seemed to be carried on Hunter, leaving Legosa wary but more or less secure that this fae didn't mean him ill-will. Her first sentance reassured him of that and drew an even more sinister grin to his muzzle. "I'll start him on the path to death." Legosa listened briefly to the two siblings and laughed lightly while flashing a comical look to Hunted. He despied the weak.

The large brute returned his deadly intentions apon the small, dark wolf. "Well where is your pack now, little wolf? Where are your friends? Have the abandoned you for your lack of courage?" His spoke in a light, taunting whisper, slowly circling around Nightcrawler. Without much warning, Legosa sprung at him at an angle that he hoped would force Nightcrawler on a slick patch of ice if he tried to jump away and avoid the lunge. If not, Legosa planned to sink his craving ivories into the flesh of the wolf's side.

Nighcrawler

Nightcrawler meant to spring back, but his paws lost their traction on the ice and he fell onto his side, kicking and scrambling to get up. He snapped at Legosa's muzzle and felt the enemy's fangs hit his side. Nighcrawler gave a short howl for his pack before continue his struggles, kicking and biting at Legosa.

Yukon

Small pup had been following his sister quietly when he lost her. Whimpering slightly he came to where Legosa and Nightcrawler were and saw what was going on. He whimpered again slightly but only for fear of his sister. He quietly walked up to them and said in as strong a voice as possible "Have you seen my sister Hidden?"

Before Legosa could answer another pup came running towards them a look of pure joy on her face....until she slammed into Legosa. She let out a yelp of surprise and fell back with a thud not even causing Legosa to move.

Legosa

Legosa had given Nightcrawler a good thrash before letting go with a muzzle dripping of partially his own blood. He was about to lunge in for another attack when the youngsters came. Hardly did he have time to respond to Yukon before Hidden ran into him. He snarled and whirled on them, ready to tear them to peices before he realized they were only pups. But no matter, he had killed a pup before, and held nothing against doing it again. Eccept... something else came to him.

Momentarily forgetting of Nightcrawler, Legosa swung his large head down, aiming to seize Hidden by the nape of her neck. He would, if he could catch her, take her to Aaka as a present at the Silver Glades.

Hidden

She smiled broadly before saying "Hi!" to Legosa and tried to race around him to get to her over protective brother. As she tried to get between Legosas legs and barked at her brother "Ha! I win! You couldnt find me!"

Yukon just shook his head and side stepped Legosa. "Hidden! What part of stay by me dont you understand?" he glanced at Legosa and let his fur bristle letting him know that he was in charge of his sister....no one was allowed near his sister. He had been put in charge of her when his parents died and he was going to keep his promise.

Nightcrawler

Nightcrawler silently regained his footing in a heartbeat, watching Legosa drop his attention for the pups. Without a snarl of warning, the black wolf flung himself at Legosa, trying to tear into his unguarded neck. "Run! He'll kill you!" Nightcrawler barked sharply at the two young ones, knowing from past experience how cruel and dangerous this dog could be.

Legosa

He gave a powerful kick at Hidden when she went under his legs and swooped his bristling neck down to snapped at Yukon,
"Someone's going to end up meeting their maker unless they scram!" He was about to turn his fangs against Hidden once more when Nightcrawler attacked him. With a raging snarl, he reared back and pulled away just in time, leaving a hefty gash across the side of his neck.

Legosa nearly fell down, but managed to keep his traction on the slick serface. He batted his front limbs at the black wolf then came down as swift and hard as he could, trying to pin his target beneath him while grasping for a shoulder with his jaws.

Hidden

Hidden let out a yelp as she felt her small body sliding across the ice from Legosas kick. She tried to scamble up and get a good grip on the ice but wasnt able to. Her brother snarled at Legosa and went to help his sister up.

Yukon was angry enough to beshaking as he walked carefully trying to get over to his sister on the slippery ice.

Nightcrawler

Nightcrawler gave a short howl for his pack before being pumbled back down by the much larger dog. He squirmed out of the way just in time, leaving Legosa's fangs to clamp down on a bit of fur. At the same moment, he reached up to snap at Legosa's throat.

Legosa

Legosa reared back to avoid his neck being bitten. He came down then, full force, trying to knock the wind out of Nightcrawler before he could squirm away. "Coward! Can't handle this fight by yourself? Well it'll be over before your pack arrives, I guarantee!" His wicked gaze flashed towards the pups, "And you two are next, mark my words!" Legosa tried to seize one of Nightcrawler's hind legs...

Yukon*Hidden*MoonSword

Yukon growled low at Legosa and backed away snarling at his younger sister. Legosa wouldnt be able to find two homeless pups. That was the benefit of being packless.

MoonSword came to....well how was he feeling today? Did he feel good....or bad? Only time would tell. For now he sat out of the corner of Legosas eyes and waited to attack someone....

Nightcrawler

Nightcrawler felt the wind being knocked out of him just before he pulled away. But he gave Legosa's muzzle a quick kick before scrambling up and leaping a few feet from the massive dog. His striking yellow orbs flashed to MoonSword, wondering if he were an ally to Legosa, the pups, or just a stranger to them all.

He glanced back to the pups now, "You'd better get out of here quick! This dog will kill you..." he wanted to run, but he didn't like the though of these pups being killed or stolen by Legosa.

Hidden Shadows

Yukon was trying to do just that. He snarled at his sister and made a grab for her. But she easily dodged him and ran towards Legosa. Defiantly she said in a cold voice

You smell just like the great white wolf and shes smells just like Moon Spirit.

She smiled then.

Moon Spirit is nice. She protected me from her sister. She even warned me. She warned me to stay away from....

she turned to Yukon who was fuming as he came closer to Legosa not even glancing at Moonsword.

Silver Glades. Moon Spirit said that her sisters name was Aaka. Aaka is dangerous. Aaka will kill us. Aaka kills everything.

His eyes changed and it looked as if he was seeing the past. Hidden hiding from the white wolf who was killing anything and everything that came to close to her....the same wolf who threatened to kill him if he ever came near her....and just before she left....she killed his parents. Her parents. She killed them without a second thought. And ran. She had been smart to run. And she had been smart on when to kill them. The rest of the pack was gone....out on a hunt....something or other.

HE may have been very young then. Now he was about three months.....and he had seen to much

Legosa

Legosa smirked wickedly towards Nightcrawler as he scampered away, "Why don't you go now, you pathetic excuse of a thing! Go bellying up to your pack and tell them how naughty Legosa has been!" His narrowed orbs glistened, "And tell them they can stop searching for the rat's brother! They can find whats left of him in some ravien if they care to look enough. Until then..." Now the brute turned to the pups, listening to what they were saying and absorbing all of it. "...I've got some business to tend too."

Apparently ignoring Nightcrawler now, Legosa turned much of his attention on Hidden. "You speak of Aaka and her sister?" He leaned his powerful head nearer to the ground, "Come closer little one... come tell me something..." His voice was a sly whisper, tainted with menace and false sweetness. He still wanted to catch this young one to take back to Aaka. And judging by Yukon's protectiveness of his sister, Legosa was banking on the little pup following after. Of course, this was all a guess, so he didn't put his hopes up for it.

Hidden

"No!" Yukon shoved past his sister his fur standing on edge. "Aaka killed her own parents. She killed our parents. Aaka deserves to die. I dont trust anyone who smells like her in one way or another. Now stay away from-"

"Shut up Yukon. I think Aaka may have had a reason for killing them." she moved past her brother who bit her neck and said in a harsh voice "Aaka wanted to prove to Moon Spirit she wasnt weak. She wanted to prove to everyone that she was more powerful then them." he turned his head to Legosa and said in a soft voice "Aaka doesnt deserve anything." Hidden just reached around and snapped at him with teeth and claws. Sighing he let her go. If she wanted to die he would let her. If she wanted to see the enemy again he would let her. And go through it all the way. She smirked and came close to Legosa. "I like Moon Spirit. Shes nice. She doesnt hurt me. What did you want to know Sir?" she didnt know Legosas name so she used the next best thing

Legosa

Legosa paused to listen to their conversation, learning something he desired to hear. Aaka was a killer, like him. Legosa had killed his half brother's father. The two had fought off and on when they met as adults, but it was Legosa who finally got fed up and killed his brother, Turret. He killed him just before killing Warrior. And then he went on to finish off Hueros, father of Niavo and Twilight Reign. Now he strove to kill Nightcrawler and Kivo. Those two managed to get away from him more times than once.

Legosa was glad to hear about Aaka being a murderer because he wanted to be on the same 'level' as another. He couldn't explain it really... he just went by what his gut told him. When Hidden came close enough, Legosa leaned in further then suddenly brought his open jaws down, trying to catch the back of her scruff, then lift her into the air... He found it highly amusing that she called him 'Sir'. No one had ever done that before!

Hidden

She let out a yelp of surprise as Legosa caught her ruff. She struggled against him and Yukon growled. But he had a look of bitter amusement on his face "Serves you right Hidden. I told you. Dont trust ANYONE who knows Aaka." Oh yes. Aaka killed many. Her parents. Some pack members. He just couldnt believe she would kill her own mother and father out of cold rage.

"Please put me down. Please" she whimpered. Her struggles had ceased her growing tired of it all. She let out a wail of anguish as she realized where she was going. "No!" she screamed as loud as she could and began to struggle again. She couldnt.......oh who was she kidding. She was going back. Back to the fear. Walking on a tight rope with nothing to catch her.

Legosa

Legosa bit down hard enough so that it would possibly hurt the pup, but not cause any lasting damage. His eyes glinted devilishly from Nightcrawler to Yukon. "Kivo would find this familiar, yes?" he mocked Nightcrawler, doing his best to mumble out the words from his tightly closed jaws. And so will Vivek. Sheer delight and entertainment filled the mongrel's heart now as he headed at a swift pace for the Silver Glades.

Nanook

The strong female watched the ebony brute with high rage. She was a stranger to some, but a hero to all. SNarling and hackles raised, the tricolour minx charged at one titled "Legosa". Strong teeth snapping, Nanook tore at the male's flank, hoping he would let the female go who he held prisoner.
