Hala
Raising her head Hala cautiously sniffed the air, her head cocked slightly to the side as she processed the scents. She'd noticed the faint signs of sickness in some areas and so had bypassed them. Although the marsh had some unusual scents here she decided that it was safe enough.
Carefully she tried to avoid the softer grounds where she might get stuck she padded around the marshes, pausing once to quickly lap at the waters before moving again. Constantly she sniffed the air, trying to pick up a recent scent. After travelling for many months she hadn't come into much contact with anyone else and she was getting desperately lonely. Stopping at what appeared to be a solid rock she sat down on it, her golden eyes looking up at the sky and let out a long howl, hoping to call some kind of attention to herself.
