*Cattle*

A cow and two yearlings have escaped unknowingly from the Ranch. And know they are quite lost and confused. The cow walks near the water, but stops before she gets near it. One of the yearlings steps partway into the water for a drink. The other calf bleats pitifully, wanting to return to the rest of the herd.

Dark Star

a wolf comes up to them. i'd beat it if i were you. stupid animals...... gators eat cows..............but i wont. i’m already full. he stands around waiting for a response

Koren

.>.Koren stormed into the marsh all in a huff. He'd show the goody Cronus and Ivy he could be better than them. To Dark Star and the cows, it would seem comical, the way he was acting. A scent caught his attention and he looked up. There the cows were.

I'll get 'em back and then maybe I'l go back home. Vindari'll hate me for this!

He thought excitedly and bounded over to the cow. He halted a few yards away from Dark Star. He hadn't heard what he said before and now though he was going to attack the cow and her little ones. The young one leapt in front of Dark Star, fangs bared.

You can't eat them. I need to bring them home to I can show those two.

He growled, meaning those two as Cronus and Ivy.>.

Elsa

The adolescent collie plods lightly across the marsh, with her muzzle down and her tail swaying lightly behind her. It didn't take long for Elsa to find Koren and the three cattle. A bit wary of Dark Star, Elsa shied around him and stood a good distance away from him. "What are you doing here?" she asked Koren, and then, "Ah, you've decided to stay! Great!" She mistook his actions at this point. It didn't happen to cross her mind, as smart as she was, that Koren and Dark Star could be attacking the cattle. Or that they are driving them away. She simply assumed the best.

*Cattle & Galar*

Although he was much slower than normal, and not hungry, Galar wouldn't pass up an easy meal. A slight bubbling in the water is the only indication of the gator's presence. A moment later, the water seems to explode, and the yearling cow that had gone to far in the water gives a bleating cry. The water subsides enough to reveal two broad jaws clamped around the snout. After a loud and fierce struggle, the young cow's head was submerged and the water churned with a crimson hue. It wasn't much longer when all the noise and commotion stopped. The cow disappeared beneath the surface. Out of view from the canines, the carcass was stuffed under a submerged log.

The mother cow cried out in fear and scrambled further from the water. The other yearling began to run away, frightened.

Koren

.>.The young male was about to answer Elsa's question when he heard the young cows helpless cry. He whirled around to see something disappear underwater. Koren circled around the cow to stop her from nearing the water. Even though he had no authority, he wanted so bad to return all three cows and now he was cure he would be punished.

Get the little one! Hurry! How do we get them to settle and bring them closer to the woods.

He ordered frantically, trying to herd the cow further inland. He tried to reason with the cow. Trying to get the point he was here to help, across.>.

Shimmer

She sprinted in in time to see the calf get killed she snarled at the alligator and ran after the calf. She remembered what Rollin taught her and Timber. She leapt up and grabbed the calf's snout to drag it to the ground to stop it from running. She the releases and blocks its escape. "Go to your mother while we lead you home." She says. "Or you might suffer the same fate." She warned and then she looked to Elsa and Koren.

Shimmer

She heard something from far away. A bellow for help from the Bull at pikes lake. She pushes the calf to its mother or at least tries and then looks to Elsa and Koren. I have to go find the other one. Help them get home and if they try to run grab their snouts and pull them down. It will work for the calf but I am not sure for the mother.

Elsa & *Cattle*

She was fairly alarmed by the large reptile that burst from the water to steal the calf. In an instant though, her senses came back to her and the adolescent was furious. She rushed towards the water, barking and snarling at the creature who killed the yearling. Unable to see the culprit at the moment, she turned back to Koren as she watched Shimmer leave. "Lets hurry and get them back... If they start to run the wrong way, take them by the ear or snout and pull them in the right direction. But watch out for the hooves."

As she spoke, Elsa made a rush for the cow, barking and snapping at the creature, trying to turn her around the other way. Already very weary and startled by all that had happened, the cow turned in a panic from Elsa and began to run in the general direction of the Ranch. The other yearling, however, was too frightened to be helped by the canines. Bucking wildly away from Shimmer, the creature began to run in a different direction.

Koren

.>.Snarling in frustration. The young male leaps at the calf and races to it's side. Koren snaps at the calf, trying to herd it after it's mother. Vaulting up, he grabbed the young one's snout roughly and jerked it back. Pushing the calf towards the ranch, he released it and snapped at it's heels once again.>.

Elsa & *Cattle*

The calf near fell over when Koren first grabbed him, and bleated out in surprise. Overwhelmed with panic, the yearling ran from the furious creature that had hurt its sensitive noise and snapped at its heals. Now he was running in the right direction.

The cow heard the cry from her baby and turned from fearful to protective in a flash. She dipped her head and swung it at Elsa with a snort. Elsa evaded the cow and danced lightly away, still barking. She then fled towards the yearling, barking and snapping. The cow came thundering towards the three, ready to protect her baby. With the two cattle finally headed in the right direction, Elsa slipped back behind the cow, allowing her to get near her baby and calm down. From there, it would be easy for Koren and Elsa to keep the two creatures heading in the right directions.
