Sawtooth & Sunlace

Two creatures glided along easily through the murky waters of the marsh. This was more like their old home in ways, but there were some things at home that nowhere could replace. The first one, a dark greenish American Crocodile glided through the water with ease, looking back and forth between shores. He was hungry... But there appeared to be nothing to eat.

Following a ways behind him was an American Alligator. She was leucistic, yellowish all over instead of the normal colors. She had her eyes fixed on her friend's tail, watching it seem to slither to and fro as they swam on.

White Fang & Scyther

An albino Crocodilian was now sun bathing on the hard ground by the marsh. Her mouth open wide. She was huge for a female. Well thats if you were thinking on the normal crocs you saw in marshs. But no this croc was a salt water croc. Her eyes stayed open.Next to her was a 40 foot anaconda.he was normal colored. He watched the surrondings.

Sawtooth & Sunlace

Sawtooth hadn't noticed the other croc nearby until he had a retake on the scene. Stopping abruptly in the water and sending out little waves, his companion behind him, who was as startled as could be, rammed into him. She slid up over his tail a bit before she realized what was going on, and quickly flopped over into the liquid to the side, but she didn't resurface at that moment.

Sawtooth didn't pay attention to his friend now as he turned and began drifting toward the larger croc, which he guessed was not one of them. Another, different kind. Whatever it was. Soon enough he reached the shore and took a couple steps onto it, eyes glinting against the sunlight. "Hello?" he seemed to ask, looking at her, until he noticed the snake next to her. At first, he thought it was just a snake, that was until he realized the rest of it. That thing was long! It caused him to stare a moment, but then quickly turned attention back to the other croc.

Sunlace, whom had not yet surfaced, was still bubbling under the water.

White Fang

White fang had heard the ripples and had flung around intending to take refuge in the water but came face to face with the small crocodilian. she hissed. What?Came her vocals.

He hissed lifting his overly large head off the ground.Yah what you want?

Sawtooth & Sunlace

Sawtooth narrowed his eyes at the croc as she hissed at him, but he simply gave a light hiss back. Sheesh, such rudeness! he thought, beginning to sound like his friend. Sunlace wasn't so uncaring of such attitudes, though.
As though clearing his throat, he gave a gruff noise, "I was wondering if you knew if there was anything good to eat around here," he stated, ready for another unburst from this croc.

Sunlace was now gliding over the top of the water, heading toward the shore.

White Fang

She watched him and then noticed the other come but she wasn't scared of either of them being bigger then both plus her snake friend was even longer then her ad could easily crush her.No I just got here

He hissed. If there was it would already be in our stomachsThe sake hissed laughting.

Sawtooth & Sunlace

Sawtooth gave a snort. He didn't like those who thought they were better. Even if that wasn't the case, he didn't like them much either way. Particularly that snake. "Me and my friend just got here, too," he stated, ignoring the snake. "By the way, I'm Sawtooth, and my friend here is Sunlace."
As he said that, Sunlace came up on the shore. She stared at the two, wondering what had gone on.

White Fang & Scyther

She looked to the other animal and then bobbed her head.I am White Fang, This is Scyther

scyther hissed but nothing more.

Sawtooth & Sunlace

Sawtooth was beginning to like this other croc more, for she didn't seem quite like the snake. Whatever the snake really was. "Well, would you want to come on a little hunt with us? We haven't eaten in a while and were just looking for some food," he offered, not sure of what they would say. He was ready for another little burst.

Sunlace gave a nod at her friend's words, ready to back him up incase something happened. She really didn't know what had gone on when she wasn't there, but now she was getting caught up. She could sense a bit of tension.

White Fang

We would like to we are hungryShe spoke and now stood.True she was huge you might think her unable to actually walk but she could walk and run.She was soon walking to the waters edge.

Scyther yawned and then turned and slithered right into the murky water.

Sawtooth & Sunlace

Sawtooth gave a grin and nodded, turning and preparing to submerge into the water again. "What kinds of animals are around here? Or, if you know, anyway," he asked, figuring creatures like deer lived there. He couldn't be sure though.

Sunlace followed after her companion, moving up next to him and ready to go.

Galar

Though big in his own right, Galar couldn't match the size and weight of grown crocodiles. It was with great caution the the alligator picked his way along the bottom of a deep channel in the marsh, his sensative snout reading the movements of the four creatures.

For a long moment, Galar settled himself into the plants and mud along the marsh bed, gaging the movements of the others until he felt secure enough to show himself. Moving just as slowly, Galar rose to the surface, his dark yellow eyes fixing on the others for the first time. He was particularly surprised and happy to see another alligator, and a female at that!

"I could help, if you'd like." Galar prompted, gliding closer to the group after catching the last question posed by Sawtooth.

Orinoco

The nearly-10-foot Yacare Caiman moved toward the group, but kept her distance. Perhaps these females would want to come to the Temple. "Greetings, marsh-sisters and marsh-brothers!" She called out to them. She had been taught to treat other crocodilians as a member of her family. "I am Orinoco of the Shadow Haunters. How do you fare on such a fine day?"

White Fang & Scyther

She had sensed the male comming and she let out a loud growl.White fang the albino Salt water croc was over 30 feet long. Proberly the largest croc alive. She watched him slide on over her eyes and snout the only thing out of the water. Then another croc type came over and she watched her.Doing better then you might

The fourty foot Anaconda hissed at both. He lifted his head out of the water.I hate large groups so unless someone of you disperse away then i shall eat you

Galar & Dima

He turned his sights to Orinoco first, giving an 'alliator smile' to the smaller crocodilian, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Orinoco. My name's Galar." He had heard of the Shadow Haunters, but unlike Dima and Akili, he didn't get too involved with the affairs of land animals. Unless, of course, they happened to be his friends. But most of his friends had vanished in the past few years, must to his distress.

Recognizing Galar's old terittory, Dima followed slowly after Orinoco, nodding once to Galar.

Generally hospitable and friendly, Galar was a bit miffed by the attitude of the strangers. "That wasn't nice." He rumbled, puffing up his back a little, "You won't be eatting any of us while I'm around."

Dima was a bit unsure of the situation, for Galar wasn't as large as the female crocodile, and the snake was awfully large. "This is my adoptive dad... he's a little different..." Dima explained in a whisper to Orinoco, while keeping his eyes on the strangers.

Orinoco

Orinoco laughed at White Fang. "Somehow I doubt that, stranger. From the way you treat me it sounds like you're not doing well. Unless you're just an arrogant jerk to begin with." Then she narrowed her eyes and hissed at the two. "I've heard that the outsiders were dirty and rude. I passed it off as a false rumor until now." She stated angrily. "You think you can rule over me because you're a bit larger. Larger isn't always better, dearies. You'll learn soon enough."

Sawtooth & Sunlace

Sawtooth hadn't expected someone else to show up, and seemed a bit reluctant as he turned to look at Galar. "I'm Sawtooth, and this is--" "Sunlace," she finished for him, the albino gator shooting him a vividly menacing glare. He knew she hated him taking the chance to give her name for her, so she always stole the moment to speak for herself. The two turned so everyone was in view, and Sunlace had an accusing look on her face toward the snake. "Eat us? I don't think so," she stated, having not grown used to the snake unlike Sawtooth had. She looked over all the animals in the crowd, wondering how such a dull moment was lit up so fast.

Sawtooth drew in a deep hissing breath, and then settled there easily. Sunlace could handle herself. Just old friendship habits he guessed.

White Fang & Scyther>

She growled and her tail went out to lash at the female who had shown up that now said size don't matter.Oh but I could easily beat youShe said glaring

Scyther:I didn't mean you guys i ment themHe hissed.

Galar & Dima

Dima, having a much shorter temper than Galar, snapped out once at White Fang's tail, "Hey, leave her alone!" There is more than enough food for us to share, there's no need for hostility." He looked pointedly at Scyther and White Fang, "The weather will turn in a month or two; we all should get in another good meal or two before winter. If we work together, we can hunt larger prey." He glanced to Sunlace next, showing a brief alligator smile to the other.

Despite himself, Dima found himself watching Sunlace as well; though he wouldn't dare make any sort of move on her. He was far too small to compete with Galar.

Sawtooth & Sunlace

Sawtooth watched as everything unfolded before his eyes, taking note of the snapping from Dima. He would have tilted his head if it wouldn't be so awkward, and simply nodded. Hostility was the last thing they needed. Then he remembered something from earlier. "What kind of animals live around here?" he asked, preferring to change the subject, though he knew tension would linger. He doubted the snake would simply forget about it, he had already suspected.

Sunlace was once again silent, though shot something of a glare to the long Anaconda. That didn't matter to her; if you said something to one of the species you said it to all of them. She didn't enjoy that. At the last minute, she caught the look from Galar, and couldn't help but give her own little grin. Attention was sure something she did enjoy.

White & Scyther

Her tail just barely missed the bite and she puffed her self up even though she didn't need to make herself bigger. She let her mouth now open showing her deadly weapons. Then she let it shut.I can bring down a buffolo easilyShe hissed.

He didn't speak no more.

Ard-Rai

White Fang had just made a very serious mistake. With a thunderous hiss, Ard-Rai pulled up beside Orinoco, his mouth open as he spoke in voice that, while soft, trembled with his fury. So insecure as to brag of such a small accomplishment. Try that again, furry-legs, and I'll play with you...

Galar & Dima

Dima kept his eyes narrowed on White Fang, joining up with Ard-Rai in defence of Orinoco.

Galar was willing to drop it though, "Deer mainly. We can find some moose, if we're lucky." He added, finding his stomach rumbling at the thought. He hadn't had moose in awhile now.
