Bandit
The pup pads in and sighs. The humans had taken his scent away for three months. He was begging to miss his mother and peregrin. He howls and dips his maw in the water to try and get his sense of smell back but it didn't help in the least bit. He layed on a log by himself. He wasn't scarred to be on his own. Maybe a little worried but mostly lonely. He lays on the log and looks at his image in the water. He sees one of the deer on the shore. He couldn't smell their foul odor. He pads over and eats enough to be full then goes back to the log and peers down sadly into the water once more.
Dima & Akili
The two young alligators had been concealed from sight by a tangle of reeds. They had watched the pup for a while, and then out of curiosity, they swam over to the log. Akili clawed her way up onto the log to get a better view of Bandit. Dima floated on the water, and gazed up at the pup with his sharp yellow eyes.
After a moment of silence, Akili spoke up, "Are you a young wolf? Or a dog? Or a coyote?" Neither of them held any fear for canines.
Bandit
He watched them curiously when they appeared but he was a little nervous at first but when they didn't attack he calmed down. "Im Bandit and I am a young wolf. I was born at the wolf center after my mom was captured and then for some reason I think the humans took away my scent and sense of smell and released me far away." He explains. "Who are you?"
Galar, Dima, & Akili
Both had heard of the Wolf Center, from the guardian Galar, and from their canines friends. Akili responded to Bandit first, "I'm Akili, and this is Dima." the alligator said, nodded to her brother floating in the water just below. "Our friends know how to get to the Wolf Center, I think. Perhaps they can help you... if they aren't busy. They just ran off a bit ago; something important they needed to help with, I guess."
Suddenly, an alligator many times larger than either of the two yearlings appeared; Galar. He came up from the water right next to the log with a hissing roar and a display of many teeth. "Galar!" piped up Akili in alarm, "Don't worry! He's not trying to hurt us!"
Galar rested his blunt head on the log and studied Bandit, "Hhhm," he grunted, "I guess not. I thought he was one of those stray dogs coming down like they do to look for little gators to eat..." Galar trailed off with his explanation, "Who are you? You haven't come to kill these two, have you?" The reptile asked, nodded to Akili and Dima.
Bandit
He leaps back when Galar emerges and he gets a bit nervous at the display of teeth. "No... Im just sorta um lost?" He says. "Those stupid humans took away my smell... at the wolf center." He explains once more.
Galar, Akili, Dima
The colder temperatures made Galar quite edgy, although he was now much slower to react to things. Learning that this pup was not trying to harm the two yearling gators, Galar relaxed quite noticeably. "You're lost you say? I've heard of the Wolf Center... yes, that place is pure evil, from what I hear." recalls the reptile, remembering the accounts of the place from Starlit Eyes and Flurry. "I have no idea where it is, or why you'd want to go there... but, I'm sure my friends could help you get back." Galar lifts his broad snout up a bit, "I think my friends are busy at the moment, so I don't know when they'll get back. Quite honestly, I don't know how to get where they are... but I know they're at the Woodland Farm. Yes, with the lady...she could help you too, I'm sure..." The alligator rambled on.
Akili sighed, rolling her eyes, "Don't mind him, he doesn't know when to stop talking sometimes."
Bandit
He smiles faintly. "Thanks! I'll go to the woodland farm immediately. If I can I'll come back to tell you what happened. He said. He turned and padded out to the woodland farm. He followed some tracks in the mud that looked like they might lead there.
