ASHLiN GLENN WONDERSTARR

The softly powerful thudding of hooves sounded across the mushy land of the marsh, and the form of a tall dapple gray Thoroughbred came into view. The mare neared the marshy waters at a quick but even canter, and was slowed by Ashlin, whom was firmly planted upon the black english saddle. Ashlin slowed Wonderstarr at they came to the side of the waters, avoiding the muddy sections as best as she could. Wonderstarr would surely need a good washing after this. So there Ashlin sat, tall in the saddle of the Thoroughbred, and turned her head to look back at Hallie after giving an acknowledging glance to the waters. "I didn't know I had such luck," she stated, raising a brow at the scenery. Dark and dingy it seemed, but what could you expect from a marsh? She then looked ahead of them, to where the mud outlining the waters became tall green grass.

Wonderstarr, immedietly after stepping to the side of the mud, gave a rumbling snort. She didn't feel it was safe here, and her auds flickered and swiveled at every noise.

Hallie

She laughed and followed them at a canter but slowed soon to a steady trot.

Bosco followed.

ASHLiN WONDERSTARR

Ashlin kept Wonderstarr going at a quick trot, but soon slowed her as they neared a more murky area. The tall mare's hooves sunk deep into the muck, making sucking noises as she pulled them out to just do it all over again. She carried her banner high to avoid getting it dirty, and carefully looked over the marsh. She still didn't like it here.

Ashlin, on the other hand, was more carefree about their new location. Her green eyes swept over the land, taking it all in, and actually enjoying the pops of Wonderstarr's hooves in the mud. It was... Soothing. "I hear there are alligators here," she stated, examining the dark water which was only a few feet from them.

Hallie

She looked back to bosco who had stopped and did not dare to go on. He watched them.

Hallie sighed. Be right backShe then stared heaven back toward bosco and had the mare lower herself and bosco climbed up and then she came back to the other two.I wouldn't daubt it

ASHLiN WONDERSTARR

Ashlin brought Wonderstarr to a halt in the muck, looking behind her as they brought back the dog. She raised a brow at that, but gave her mare a kick to get her started again. "I don't hear of attacks, though. I wonder just how many are out here," she then stated, breathing the fresh cool air of the marsh. Maybe not the greatest, but it was good enough.

Wonderstarr's auds flickered and her eyes sweeped over the ground before her. Whaat a great place, not.

Hallie

She sighed lightly.Well for safetys sake we should stay alertShe said glancing around.

ASHLiN WONDERSTARR

Ashlin gave a nod, and continued trotting Wonderstarr along. She looked at the ground, which was slowly but surely becoming more solid than the muck behind them. So finally, the tall mare took first step upon hard ground, and almost immedietly she tried to drop her dial down to lip at the taller grasses next to the water. At this, Ashlin scolded her with a sharp "No" and pulled back with the reins. Wonderstarr snorted and lifted her head annoyed. She was hungry!

"Well, maybe we should stop and rest here? I think Wonderstarr wants to eat," she stated, holding the reins tightly to avoid the mare trying to steal anything more. The Thoroughbred could be such a sneak.

Akahi/Vakasa

It had been a while since Akahi had seen a human, and this was the first time for Vakasa. The white gator swam just below the surface when she saw the group from afar. "Hey Cameo! I found some people!" She called back to her avian friend. Then she focused on the people and their pets. "Who're you?" She asked, a quizzical look on her face.

Vakasa was sunning himseld near where the group stood, but was probably out of sight. The young gator had recently lost his mother and, obviously, no other gator would take him in. He crawled over to the odd bunch and gazed up at them. "I don't think I've ever seen your kind before." He stated.

Hallie

She nodded and just then spotted the gators. She took a deep breath.Hey i think these are gators aren't they?

Heaven she was skittish and when the reptillians approached she reared and freaked out sending bosco down to the ground alanding in the muck and breaking his paw again.Heaven was pulled back down.whoa girlShe said.

Bosco yelped as he fell to the ground. He could no longer stand on his right paw.He limped out of the water and stayed away from the gators and the horse.

ASHLiN WONDERSTARR

Ashlin was oblivious to the gators until Hallie pointed them out. She had been focused on her mount's black mane, which was always cut shorter for shows, and was needing a new trim. She looked up quickly, drawing in her own breath. "They sure look it," she stated in reply, easily pulling back on Wonderstarr's reins. "Better watch out." she then added, ready to give her Thoroughbred a kick.

The tall mare hadn't noticed the gators until the first spoke. She flung her dial up sharply and gave a half rear, causing Ashlin to slide a bit, before crashing her fore hooves back onto the ground. Ashlin pulled back hard on the reins after that, causing the mare to back up quickly, away from the creatures. "Get away!" she shrieked, her muscles tense.

CAMEO

The tall crane hadn't been too far away; he was simply enjoying some new fresh roots he had dug up from the damp soil. He was feeling all 'fine and dandy' until he heard the call of his gator friend-- if he would dare call her such, but he figured she was safe enough.
Lifting his wings and taking flight, he soon found the location and swooped down easily, hovering above the ground before sticking his legs out and landing in the water. His long wings folded into his sides, and he stared hard at the new humans and these tall animals. Everything seemed so different in this place. He was used to humans for the most part, though he had never really came so close before. "Why are they here?" he asked, standing a good yard or two from his fellow marsh-dwelling friend.

Akahi/Vakasa

Akahi smiled. "I won't hurt any of you." She assured, keeping her distance. Then she looked at Cameo. "I dunno. Maybe they're exploring."

Vakasa listened to the conversation closely. "Why are you here?" He asked curiously.

ASHLiN WONDERSTARR

Ashlin continued to look down at the creatures, the one which appeared to be... White. An albino? She studdied it for a moment before coming to a conclusion, but then pulled firmly on the reins to back Wonderstarr up more. The mare was finally stepped back onto more solid ground, and away from the water, making her much happier. But those gators still didn't ease her mind one bit. Ashlin also looked over at the crane, wondering why such a bird was living here. Sure, gators were the norm around marshes, but she couldn't recall ever seeing this kind of bird. However, she shook it off and just figured it had escaped from somewhere. After all, there were tigers running loose in the valley. Who knew what else.

Wonderstarr's auds stayed back against her dial, nares flaring. She hated being the only one that had to deal with these no-good creatures. Just her luck, but she couldn't complain. Ashlin knew what she was doing, so Wonderstarr just took her motions for it. After all, she couldn't flat out disobey, could she? "I don't know, it's her doing!" she replied with an aggitated tone. This place was sure unnerving.

CAMEO

Cameo stared hard at the human sitting atop the horse, making a motion that looked much as though he was looking his head. He probably looked a bit on the comical side, even, but he didn't even notice it. He looked to Akahi and lightly snapped his beak in the air, for no particular reason. "That makes sense, I guess." he stated, ruffling his feathers lightly as he took a couple slow but steady steps closer to the tall mare. I'm goin' in...

Akahi/Vakasa

Akahi slid onto the land and looked up at the horse. "I'm Akahi. Who are you?" She asked in a friendly manner.

Vakasa looked at the white alligator, then back at the equine, narrowing his eyes. I'm not going to tell you who I am until you tell me who you are" He growled.

ASHLiN WONDERSTARR

Ashlin, at seeing one of the gators sliding onto land, kept her grip firm on the reins. She had to keep Wonderstarr under control, or else something bad could-- no, would, happen. A freaked out mare was the last thing she needed.

Wonderstarr looked wide-eyed at the alligators, and tossed her dial, backing up a few yards. Her steps were quick and hasty, her limbs stiff and muscles tense. She didn't trust any carnivors, especially ones she never seen before. "I am Wonderstarr," she stated with her auds back, stomping a fore hoof into the damp ground. The tone of the first gator was alright she guessed, but the second was unnerving. "What's it matter?" she then asked, snorting, "We'll never see each other again anyway," she finished, actually hoping that her thought was true. She didn't have chatting with any wild animals on her agenda today, and she was almost certain that Ashlin didn't, either.

CAMEO

Cameo watched from where he stood, observing the group with an interested gaze. When everyone else spoke their name, he found it quite necessary to give his. "And I am Cameo!" he seemed to squawk out for a moment, extending his wings out before folding them back in. As he looked over each face, it suddenly hit him: he didn't know this other gator's name! And he was another gator! Cameo, for just a moment, was in disbelief that he hadn't paid attention to that fact. He guessed it what happened when you started making carnivor friends-- you're fear of them eventually died out. However, he was feeling all too comfortable in this situation.
