Azhlin

Husky hybrid lay watching the stars, listening to that soft, complete world in his head. The voices were speaking to him again. But now, he had learned to deal with them. They were old friends. He let out a lonesome howl.

Moon Spirit

The white alphess heard the call and came trotting forth, across the blood stained battle ground that the male was laying on. She watched him closely for a moment from her perch on top an esker then howled back to him. His call had been heard. She came closer now, her white pelt glimmering in the sun, blood stains putting brown spots on it here and there. But her injuries werent as bad as others. A ways away was the body of Vivek, a once friend. Now there was nothing left of him but bones. My my the world is harsh isnt it?

Azhlin

Azhlin looked up at the sound of a howl not his own, seeing a white fae perched atop an esker. He gazed at her without moving. Never had he seen her, but yet... And finally he spoke, his voice dry and uncaring. Hello. Moon Spirit, isn't it? Unless there is another lady in this valley with a crescent slip. And he sighed. He was not particularly evil, but Whisper's influence had made him a swift and deadly hunter with few friends. And now even she was gone, and he was alone.

Moon Spirit

She smiled at the wolf and moved forth her bodice thin from starvation but it was better then before. She had been starving herself from fear that Abamacho would not return. Still her had not but that was alright. Everything was fine now. Sort of. "And how is it my friend that you know of me and I know not of you?" Everyone only knew her as Aaka's kind hearted sister. A shadow of Aaka. Her smile was warm and kind beauty radiating off of her but blindness to how beautiful she really was. She was not evil. Definatly not. A howl caught the wolfess's attention, a call from Aaka for any who felt up to a fight. Moon Spirit was weak and would not offer any help at all and this she knew. She turned back to Azhlin a smile on her face as she watched him.

Azhlin

Azhlin scootched over habitually, giving her room to recline on the small esker should she chose. His voice was soft. Your name is one whispered on the night wind, usually entwined with either Aaka or Storm Warning. Your name is whispered among enemies and allies, both of whom I have spent much time among, though now I am alone. Do not fear that I mean you harm. I've not killed in months, not eaten in weeks. I am... contemplating things Whisper told me. And he sighed shifting a little. The movement showed a thiness not unlike her own, but with a little less time in between meals. His voice was a murmur. Killing does not stop the voices... it only adds more. But I cannot blame Whisper. Her case and mine are different. She said as much. She made no promises. How... safe. And his eyes were sad as the voices screamed in his head.

Please! Let her go!

Are you happy now?
Please... son, please!

A scream shattered the silence of his mind and he flinched, letting out a gasp of pain. Those voices... he had thought them vanished. He lay panting, eyes closed.

Moon Spirit

She nodded to Azhlin and said softly "Aaka has the same problems with voices. Please, would you like some food? We have some back at the pack. I could go get some for you if it would suit you." She knew he meant no harm. It still unnerved her however that so many others spoke of her. She had not been out of her packlands for weeks, and now here she was hearing that she was being spoken of. Aaka of course was always spoken of for many feared the white wolfess with a black heart. Storm Warning was dead now though so why was everyone speaking of him still?

Azhlin

Azhlin barely heard her comment, gritting his teeth to avoid gasping again. Finally, the voices eased, and he could hear her voice again. He let out a bark of hoarse laughter that turned into a cough. Ah, lady. How very sweet you are. In worse shape than I, and you offer to fetch and carry. He let out another low cough that might have been a laugh but didn't quite make it. Perhaps one day I will tell you of myself, of... the where and why of it. And he struggled to his feet, though he stood firmly once he got there. Shall we make a trip of it, then? And his smile broadened. Usually he was much more suspicious, but lack of food and her offer made him less so, for the moment.

Moon Spirit

She smiled warmly at the male and turned and trotted a bit away then turned back to make sure he was coming her smile radiant as ever. Maybe he would decide to stay at the pack with them. Oh now wouldnt that be nice? Her pack was small, consisting of Elena, Zev her self and her mate and of course the pups. Oh the pups. But they were getting older now and soon they would be heading off on their own to get there own packs. It saddned the mother to think of this but she held her smile in place and continued on heading to the Sedge Creek Territory.

Azhlin

He trotted slowly after her.
