Eternal
Eternal returned to the Eskers for this was as close to home as she could get. She snarled for she had not found her sister Immortal. She let out a loud angry howl to see if she would come or anyone else dared to near her. She had to get ready for war was going to be waged soon. This time Aaka was going to die. Eternal would make sure of it.
Nachi
The wolfess had always been on the eccentric side, ever since she fought and betrayed her true family and choose to live with the bears. Even her brother Cavan, who had fought by her side and did anything she asked of him, thought of her as slightly mad. Well, now she was definitely one that could be called mad. In the crazy sort of way. She had always carried a loathing for her own kind, had a habit of stealing pups even though she loved them not, and idolized species not her own. Her life was lonely and uncertain, and now it seemed even worse. She could find no bear or feline friends, whom she most adored, and now her nephew was dead! She had cared about him, but she had cared about her brother more, and dreaded the idea of telling him what had happened.
Stalking aimlessly across the sloping, loamy ridges, Nachi spied Eternal. The quirky wolf instanly dropped to her belly and let her tail thrash about like an angry cat's would. She was reverting back to the days when she mimicked her leapord friends, Chaz and Lopiz. Nachi's ears laced back and she glared venomously at Eternal. But lo and behold, the crazy she-wolf saw something of a reflection of herself in Eternal; or maybe it was just something of the fae's personality that spoke to Nachi. What ever it was, it made Nachi calm her agressive actions and perk her ears back up. Whether Eternal had spotted her by now or not, Nachi watched the fae curiously.
If there was ever a line between sanity and insanity, Nachi had leapt well over that boundary by now.
Eternal
Eternal turned at the sound of something brushing the ground and she turned spotting Nachi. Her body froze not in paralyzation but in fascination. This wolf didnt attack her but looked as if she would at any chance. She knew the acts of insanity and had lived with cougars at one point in her life. Her head came low as she watched Nachi and stood still as a statue immobile for some time. Eternal was not the patient sort however but more of a get it done and get it done now type. She sighed impatiently and said in her cold dead winter voice "Are you gonna come over here or stay there?" Her personality had gotten her the omega position many times which was no surprise to others. Her sister was more of the good sweet type that would do anything to appease a person that could help her. That had also helped Eternal when she wanted something.
Nachi
Nachi lifted her head now, ears directed at Eternal's words, "I will stay here for a moment." Came her slow reply as her tail began to switch from side to side once more. Her orbs held a look of deep curiousity, among other things. Yet their came a sudden noise in the distance that caused the wolf to jump up in alarm. Her ears laid back at first, then stood again and she looked uneasily towards Eternal one last time, "Hopefully we will meet again?" She spoke out, but gave the other no time to respond. Like bullet, she shot away down the opposite side of her esker and headed away.
d a n g e r
Boredom. So this is what it really felt like ? Danger had never had such a silent spell in his life. His arch nemesis, Demon, had returned and had not, or so he hoped, heard of his whereabouts. For all Demon knew, Danger, being the specimen we are discussing/ranting about right here, was dead or long gone. He knew there would be some crack about his age if Demon ever found him. Demon might even be so bold as to call him old. But that was not recommended. Danger is touchy about his age. But, nevertheless, what you might call age, Danger called experience. Only the strongest will survive. So true and yet so clich. But he was not THAT old. He was still in his prime and one such as he was still far from that falling out of his prime. Danger was put on this earth for the sole purpose of fighting and it was sac religious of him to remain so . . . I don't know, so un-violent for so long. But who was there to kill? No one. His family grudges had all disappeared, until now.
Danger had heard something about two sisters doing what he had longed to do for some time, yet could not find heart to put his son's young in peril. They issued a threat. A thing that had once been a daily occurrence when he still had had Summer Sun, may she rest in peace. It was those blasted Lurkers who tore her down. That last battle took its toll on her body and soul and she departed from this world. Danger was torn about that, suffered from acute depression, but now he was back. He was your true blue example of an archetypal hero, but lets not get into that right now. There are more pressing matters at hand. Like when I will stop rambling and haul Danger into Eternal's presence, which will happen shortly, trust me on this.
A bitter wind ripped at Danger's hulking ebony form as he pressed on through the Esker. He was not needed in the Canyon anymore, so not being tied down by his son's pack, he left. And here he was, bored to tears [only figuratively speaking] and strolling down memory lane. The once alpha's twin peaks rose to attention and absorbed the call put forth by the minx. Icy blue lanterns picked up movements. Two. He ceased for a moment and watched how things played out. As abruptly as the other fae came, she was gone. Curiosity etched itself on Danger's face and he remained still. Rather than continue, he chose to look on at the remaining female. Oh yes, he dared. Danger was that bold, that intrigued, or maybe he was just that retarded to, but this was clearly not his intention, piss the chick off.
Eternal
As the fae raced away Eternals eyes narrowed. She wasnt in the mood to deal with dissapearing acts. She growled darkly and stalked to the top of a hill and lay down watching all below her. Her head was held high and she looked mighty and proud. She thought of the ways she would punish her sister when she returned as her tail curled around her body and her hackles raised in anticipation. Immortal would pay.
Eternal stood suddenly and began to pace back and forth her mismatched eyes looking for the white sister. She snarled and let out another howl this one showing how truly angry the fae was. She turned and her eyes suddenly locked onto Dangers. Her tail stiffened and her hackles raised higher as her head came down watching him with one yellow and one storm grey eye. In a cold voice she said "Is there something I can help you with?" This was the lead sister that was planning the murder of Aaka and the Lurkers.
Watch your step Make Sure you Dont Fall
danger
Well, well, well, a little edgy, are we? Danger's icy blue orbs observed the minx with fierce intensity.
"Maybe you can, maybe you can't."
He stated the comment with patient simplicity as he advanced further towards the fae.
"You see, I am search of two sisters who I believe are called Eternal and Immortal. It seems to me that they harbor the same hateful passion against the Lurkers and their precious friends. I have an offer to present to them."
Danger harbored much hatred of the Lurkers. They had stolen his mate and ruined the lives of countless other friends of him, namely the Alley Pack. Danger swore revenge on them and hoped that if he and his kin could possibly join forces with the sisters, they might have a chance. The Lurkers would not expect their once upon a time enemy Danger to return with his clan once again, not after such a long period of anonymity.
Eternal
An ear flicked towards him as the faes eyebrows raised.
What kind of offer?
She watched him with the same intensity sparks of anger making her different colored eyes seem to dance. Many were intimidated by the grey and yellow eyed wolfess for many were not expecting how much anger or sadness that she held inside. She looked behind the male her black coat catching the sun making the blue highlights stand out more. She growled softly and turned her angry eyes back to him.
I do not know where Immortal is. For the moment that isnt important. What is it that you want?
She was unsure of this wolf for he was different from the rest. What kind of offer could he give her? She usually wasnt interested in offers from other wolves but maybe this one could help with her goal. She wanted both Aaka and Hydras dead.
Stalking the Night
danger
The titanic ebony brute watched this potential ally carefully as he skillfully worded his offer.
"One that should not be ignored. My kin and I, as it seems, have ourselves a blood sworn enemy. My intention is that we tear them and their allies limb from limb. Yet we are so few in numbers, and though we have survived, we have never really succeeded. If we were somehow able to increase the numbers, we could counter the odds. If we could reach some mutual understanding, I am sure we could reach our goals.
Danger fell silent as he let his words sink in. His icy blue pools locked with Eternals. The fear others found in her dual toned orbs was non-existent. Fear did not register in Danger's brain. As it should for someone who's been around as long as who has and seen as much as he has. Danger was not the intimidated; he was more of an intimidator by nature. He couldn't help it that Gaia decided he was to be of his large stature and fierce demeanor.
Eternal
Somebody give me some light
Not pointed into the dark
Somebody show me the end
Not trying to push a start
Not trying to figure out
A better way, a better answer
But I keep finding all the problems
I've been looking after
Don't get wound up in the world
With nothing but a smile
I'll take a ton of words
And use them to instill denile
Don't get close
You don't know me
And you'll never know
Chivalry, will get you somewhere
Rivalry, will take you there
Don't get close
You don't know me
And you'll never know
Chivalry, will get you somewhere
Rivalry, will take you there
Maybe I should look away
Before I really miss
Maybe I should pick the time
Before I pick the place
I bet you all the things
That you emulate, you penalize
But I don't wanna go
Before you learn to finalize
She listened to him silently her orbs beginning to dance with inner fire. So he wished for an alliance did he? Well alright shed give him a shot. But one just one.
I see. And how many do you have on your side my friend?
She herself had only Forsaken, the Death Pack Vivek and V.estiges pack and her sister Immortal. Speaking of Immortal where was that good for nothing mutt? She looked around herself seeking her sister over the land. She hadnt seen Immortal since the day at the alleys and as much as she hated to admit it she was afraid for her quiet sister.
She lowered her petite frame to the ground and watched Danger closely. She was no fool, this was obvious. She was cautious about him for this could be a trick. But maybe it wasnt. She would have to wait and see maybe.
You don't know me
And you'll never know
Chivalry, will get you somewhere
Rivalry, will take you there
Don't get close
You don't know me
And you'll never know
Chivalry, will get you somewhere
Rivalry
You assitane the plot
My vision's overshot
I have the best confection
I was gone for all the lessons
Who coined these words I use
Stay out and be abused
I didn't want to be
The undeniable source of everything
Don't get close
Don't get close
Don't get close
Don't get close
Don't get close
You'd better stay away
Don't get close
You'd better stay away
Don't get close

You'd better stay away
Need change, watching all the conflicts
Constrict, push the fist in, squeeze it
I can not resist, claws and fist
Remember, remember
You take the rivalries
And never make much sense
I have the worst possession
What I want is so insensitive
Stay out and be abused
Cause this is so confused
I only want to be

Kenyon
The Shadow Lurker had picked up on Eternal's scent and now came bolting across the loamy soil, heading right in her direction. "There, I see her!" He snarled, which was a sound he rarely issued from his throat. Slowling down and bristling up his fur, Kenyon stared directly at Eternal, then his eyes switched to Danger. He knew the brute, but not nearly as well as Hydras did.
Eternal
She saw Kenyon and a series of curses flew from that pretty little mouth of hers. She turned and ran as fast as her legs could carry her, her lithe body moving like liquid. If Danger wanted to find her he would just need to ask around. She snarled and knew that Immortal had ratted her out. She was however running straight into Hydras's direction for the wind was in the alphess's favor and Eternal had yet to see her
Hydras & Pirqua
Hydras was mentally cursing her nephew for running ahead of her as he did, but she suddenly found fate playing nicely into her paws. Kenyon had put enough distance between her to allow for Eternal's mistake. Putting on a burst of speed, the alpha came straight at her enemy. Her jaws were open and her eyes gleaming with intense fury. She could almost taste her enemy's blood! As she drew nearer to Eternal, she jumped and tried to sink her craving jaws over Eternal's muzzle...
Pirqua wheeled around, diving closer and closer to the ground as she did. Her dark eyes stared right at Danger and she gave a series of sharp cries. As she got closer, the falcon began to dive at the brute, trying to strike his back and head with her sharp talons.
Demon
He was glad he had followed them. He stopped seeing Hydra's going at Eternal. He thought about joining in or going for Danger. He decided to join in on attacking Eternal... and when Danger made a move he'd go for him. He sprung, jaws parted and aiming for Eternal's neck. Hopefully Hydras attack would make it easy for him to seize Eternal by her throat.
Eternal
Eternal realized her mistake quickly and she stopped hard sending a spray of sand at her enemy. She whirled to run in another direction but she felt Hydras's fangs sink into her and let out a snarl of fury. She would kill Immortal as soon as she got out of this mess. She turned to fight the alpha fae her fangs sinking in wherever she could get them to reach. Thats when Demons teeth struck her. He didnt get her neck but the side of it for she had been pressed closely to Hydras. Luckily for Eternal however she had a helper.
Satet had been brooding at the eskers remembering her last fight with the Lurkers. She wanted revenge. She saw Kenyon and then Hydras and Demon fly by her. She followed them and saw them attacking Eternal. Eternal was no friend but if the Lurkers wanted her dead then she wanted the black fae alive. She leaped at Demon hoping to drive him back and away from Eternal. She aimed for a leg not sure which one just aiming at the male taking all of her rage out on him
Demon
He bit harder when he got the side of Eternals neck but he noted the other comeing so he jerked back his head hoping to tear some flesh from Eternal's neck, though he was careful not to throw Hydra's off balance. He felt his leg get taken in Satet's jaws but before any real damage could be done he ripped it out of grasp, some skin getting torn as he did. He had whirled around to ram himself into Satet to knock the fae over, and if succesful he'd go for her mug or neck.
Depression*Cutter
Awww wasnt it lucky for Satet that sister Sekhmet had found out about their little meeting? Depression and Cutter moved swiftly down the eskers their bodys seemingly floating over the ground. Immediatly Depression went for Hydras as Cutter went for Kenyon. If Satet couldnt take care of herself then that was her problem not theirs.
Depression bit down where ever he could not knowing who Eternal was just that she was to be an asset in the up coming war. And that Forsaken had said to help the fae. Although they could do without Satet they couldnt do without Eternal.
Cutter leaped at Kenyon throwing his dark grey chassis at him with as much force as he could hoping to knock the male over. He made no sound whatsoever for he was not the type to make himself noticed. He always hit and he hit hard.
Hydras & Pirqua
Hydras let her fangs tear at the other's flesh as deeply as possible before letting go. Her own hide, around her face, was marked by Eternal's teeth. The alpha didn't spring away from this attack; she was too close to her goal to do that. Instead she pushed forward, trying to press her muzzle to Eternal's neck and snap at the life vein there. Her well atuned senses detected the approach of others, although in her moment of battle, she couldn't quite get away. Instead, as she saw Depression coming to her from the corner of her eye, Hydras swiveled her body. At the last moment, she struck out with her hind paws, trying to hit him square in the muzzle. If her aim was right, she might have deflected this attack. But she couldn't hope to keep him at bay with her paws alone.
Pirqua drew away from Danger and went instantly for Depression. Diving like a bomb through the cold air, her talons stretched forward. She reached nearly 50 mph in her swift dive, and aimed her sharp talons for the male's eyes.
As Hydras was engaging herself in Eternal, her mind flickered to the Aegis den. If any more showed up here, Hydras would have to flee and lead her members to safety, where they had the upperpaw in battle. But for the moment at least, she decided to stay her ground and fight.
Kenyon
Kenyon was about to leap to his aunt's aid, but suddenly found himself hurtled to the ground, the wind knocked clean out of him. Without thinking, his jaws flashed to the side, snapping wildly at whatever had just assaulted him; Cutter. Kenyon knew enough to keep his head tucked so that his vitals were exposed right off. As his fangs snapped madly at the other, the hybrid scrambled to get his footing.
Satan
He had become slightly lost in the trail to the Eskers but arrived just in time for the action. He went for Depression, the one attacking Hydras. As she attempted to deflect his attack, he lept for the back of the beast neck, closing his jaws sharply on whatever he got hold of.
V.estige
He led his small group towards the on coming battle. With a snarl he went for Hydras, Alpha on Alpha, hoping to knock her off Eternal and close his jaws around her neck.
Vandras and Chaos
The pair had been sent by Domnio to the fight. They had been claiming a land when Domnio commanded them to go to Hydras and thats what they did.
Domnio would surely be along soon, with Xina and Sxythe but for now only Vandras and Chaos were here.
The pair charged forwards and seeing as almost everyone else had a partner Vandras told Chaos that they should both go for Danger. With a snarl, Vandras threw himself at the wolf, jaws going for the throat. Chaos came up behind, hoping to cause the element of surprise if Danger ws too busy with Vandras. He would go for the back of the neck, hoping to put all his weight on Danger back in an attempt to weigh him down, claws dug in.
Vivek
Vivek came charging in, following after Vestige from the Canyon. At first he lingered a moment on the frige of the growing battle, trying to make sense of this great melee. At first, his keen eyes searched for Legosa and Aaka; but they didn't seem to be here yet. Good enough. Then he looked at the larger of the fighters, and noticed just how many alphas there seemed to be!
Vivek had paused for only a moment, getting his baring and figuring out who was on his side, and who wasn't. Then he picked his target; Chaos. Charging full-tilt, the alpha sprung for the other, attempting to slam his front paws into the wolf's side and send him tumbling to the ground, where his vitals might be exposed for an instant.
Demon
Demon turned his attention away from Satet when she saw V.estige go for Hydra's who was fighting Eternal. "Seems your friends don't care about you, they want to save your friend over there." He taunted Satet as he sprung away right infront of V.estige before he could reach Hydra's and snapping for his neck or muzzle.
Aaka
The fae had heard a call from her packlands about them finding Eternal. That was all she needed to come running. She saw Vivek and leaped for him hoping to throw him off Chaos and to leave him be. That way Chaos could continue on attacking Danger.
Her fangs snapped and slashed wherever they could. She didnt even know who the male was. All she knew was that he was attacking her allies. That was one of the biggest mistakes the male could have made. Her paws she used as weapons as well making sure to always keep her neck unexposed. She went for Viveks shoulder suddenly for that was her favored spot.
Sekhmet
The grey wolf had followed the others unheeding to Forsaken. She saw Demon and immediatly went for him along with her sister Satet. Both faes attacked the male hoping to take him out. Satet went for his hind limb hoping to grasp it tightly and break it as they had done to Immortal. Sekhmet went for Demons throat diving for the male with Fury. Angrily she told him "How dare you attack my sister!" Her fangs slashed and gripped at whatever she could get so furious that she didnt even care any more.
Demon
As he went for V.estige and blocked him snapping at his maw and throat he had spotted both faes comign for him out of the corner of his eyes. Of course Demon was experianced with battles and what not so he got an idea. He crouched a bit right before they reached him, his eyes still on V.estiage pretending he didn't see the faes or was ignoring them. Suddenly he sprung leaping over V.estige. He hoped that the Sekhmet and Satet wouldent be able to pull back in time and grab V.estige in his place. Thats when he whirled around to try and grab V.estige once more since his attack had been halted temporarily by the two he went for V.estiges throat this time hopeing to grab it.
Hydras, Yersinia, & Pirqua
Hydras continued her attack upon Eternal, doing her best to maim the other's throat. She was about to jump to the side as she saw V.estige coming, but Demon had saved her for the moment from his attack, so she refocused her efforts on damaging Eternal.
Pirqua continued her assault upon Depression, doing what she could to blind him with her claws.
Yersinia came tearing across the land after hearing the howl and getting word from Jet-Wing. She was rather small, but at least her size made for great agility. Seeing that Demon was being double-teamed, the hybrid dove straight for Skehmet, although she came from the side. Using her small size to an advantage, she held her body low to the ground and tried to sink her jaws into the tender underbelly of her foe.
Satet
Satet was low enough that she didnt hit V.estige. She leaped suddenly though her form flying over the male and straight at Demon. If she couldnt attack him she would keep him away from V.estige while the male went for Hydras. She snapped at Demon as her sister came to join her both forming as a protective sheild around the male. Demon would have a hard time getting through the two angry females.
Legosa
He arrived not long after his mate, carrying his tail arrogantly high in the air. A savage light began to burn in his bright orbs as he turned his deadly gaze over the canines. He didn't know all of them, but by scent, he could tell more or less who was foe, and who not to attack. Although he wanted to tear Vivek apart more than anything, he left Aaka up to that. Instead, the large mix-breed set his sights on Depression. Although the wolf was already getting punished by more than one attacker, Legosa wanted to warm himself up.
Jogging in a light stride through the battle grounds, he came straight at the besieged wolf as a smirk grew broader and broader on his mug. But then, as he got near to his target, the grin transformed into a devilish, snarling grimace. With years of fighting to back him up, Legosa went straight for the other's throat, aiming to land his blood-hunger teeth just beyond the lower jaws, where the jugular would be easiest to hit.
Psychopath*Insanity
The two siblings raced in as fast as they could. With a bark Psychopath sent Insanity for Yersinia while she went for Legosa.
The white male leaped hard for Yersinia the voices in his head screaming their war challenge. He let out a snarl of rage and attacked her viciously trying to get her distracted from Satet. Or was that Sekhmet? He wasnt sure but she was on his side so it didnt matter. He aimed for her front forepaw hoping to break it and cripple her.
Depression snarled at the bird and snapped at it. To many were attacking him. He pulled away from Hydras and turned to Demon. With a leap he was at the male viciously slashing and tearing at whatever was in reach making sure not to hit his team mates.
Cutter snarled and tried to make sure that Kenyon did not stand. If the larger male got on his feet it would be harder for Cutter to bring him down once more. Cutter went for the males throat hoping to kill him that way.
Psychopath leaped for Legosa slamming into him hard. It would send both of them sprawling she knew but it would give Depression a better chance.
Sweetbrier
The little vixen felt fear well up in her as she approached the scene. So many canines... so big they seemed! What chance did she have against any of them, really? But she couldn't let her pack down... The gray fox swallowed her fears and plucked up what courage she could. This might be her last day on earth, but she'd be valiant and die fighting, if that were so. Rushing forward on small limbs, the fox tried to infiltrate the mass without anyone noticing her. She hoped that her small size and their focus on each other would help.
Not knowing who was on what side, the little fox went to her alpha, V.estige. She saw that Demon was trying to do him harm. Although Demon looked monsterously big to her, little Brier ran for him. Being so low to the ground, she attempted to go right underhim, then leap upwards for his throat.
Ninaki, Kenyon, & Black Feather
Kenyon could not get up in time. Fangs were at his throat and he gave a startled cry as he felt the pain of them grip his flesh. His large paws struck up light lightning, trying to hit Cutter in the throat and nose and push him away before the teeth dug too deeply. Kenyon's own fangs snapped at the brute's face as he struggled to save his life from imminent death.
Kenyon's father came to the battle now, warned by Yersinia. Being a long-time member of the Lurkers, he was very skilled in fights. The deaths of his mate and sister were always behind him, driving his killing lust and desire to protect those he loved. Not seeing Kenyon's dire situation, Ninaki went for Demon. Where Legosa had failed to reach the neck, Ninaki hoped he could succeed. Darting in low and swift, the beta went right for the vital area.
Black Feather came as well, knowing that it was pointless to guard the Aegis den at the moment. Looking down, he could hardly make sense of the tangled mass of canine bodies, that writhed and and fought below. Making a quick decision, the peregrine falcon shot down with his talons stretched out for damage. His first aim was at Sekhmet, going for her eyes.
Hydras, Yersinia, & Pirqua
Yersinia was too focused on Sekhmet to notice Insantiy. A searing pain hit her paw, and she tried to pull it back. But being small didn't lend well to great strength. It was with an agonizing cry that she felt two of the bone break between her attacker's jaws. She snapped feverishly for his face and neck, trying to shred his skin as much as she could to cause him blood loss.
Pirqua gave an ear-piercing shriek as Depression's teeth scored her a wound across her chest. Still flying strong for now, the peregrine dove again for him, doing what she could to help Demon by discracting Depression.
Cutter
He snarled a laugh as the dog struggled to get him off but it was pointless. He dug his fangs in deeper tasting the males blood in his jaws. Kenyons life source tasted so sweet to him. He felt one of Kenyons canines hit his face but he paid no mind to it as blood intermixed with Kenyons. The brute would die if Cutter had anything to say about it.
Sekhmet let out an angry snarl and snapped at the bird angrily hoping to snatch it out of the air and break its wings so that Black Feather could no longer fly.
Forsaken
He watched as the war began. Ah so Aaka was here already was she? He laughed and watched silently. But he didnt see who he really wanted. Moon Spirit. Where was that female? He growled in anger and moved quickly to aid with the falcons. He aimed for Pirqua hoping to bring her down as Sekhmet was trying to do
Vivek
A flicker of hesitaition washed over Vivek as he saw Aaka coming for him. He had, at one time, cared for her. Although he no longer did, especially since he had a mate now, that past feeling caused him to fault. It was enough for Aaka to make her hit, digging her teeth into his shoulder as he gave pained snarl. The hesitation melted quickly away as the pain raced into his trapped limb. Swinging his muzzle around, he went straight for the classical target; her throat.
Pirqua & Mesa
Pirqua swiveled in the air like an acrobat, for she too had been living long in the Lurker's pack. But her attention was stuck too much on avoiding Sekhmet's teeth, and she didn't spot Forsaken quite quick enough. A horrible pain gripped her wing as his jaws snapped through the hollow bones there. She had broken her wings before, but she was usually brought to safety by Bullet. In the past, she had always hated how the big brute would pick her up in his slobbery jaws; but now she wished fervently that he was here to wisk her to safety. For on the ground, she had little hope.
Mesa had come to the Eskers after delivering her message to White Noise. She had lingered long enough to witness Skip's murder. "One of theirs is done!" She cried triumphantly as she glided low over the canines, hoping to raise the moral of her side. But then she spotted her mother fall to the ground, stricken by Forsaken's jaws. "NO! MOTHER!" She cried out, shooting like an arrow through the cold air. She went right for the back of his head, trying to hit the wolf with all her might. She may be small in comparision to him, but she had great speed, and her quick decent carried her at over 50 miles per hour. She hoped to at least daze him with the strike, although it might mean damage to herself to hit him that hard.
Vitani, Suki, Kuro and Zira
The four charged after Yersinia once the alarm had been raised.
Zira spotted the falcons and the injured Pirqua on the ground. There was no time to carry her to saftey so the she-wolf charged for Forsaken, lunging at him jaws agape, hoping to snap them shut around his neck.
Vitani saw Vivek and Aakas battle. Whilst his attention was on Aaka, the wolfess charged up and went for the back of his neck, hoping either to kncok him over, wind him or grab his throat.
Suki and Kuro both saw Hyrda with Eternal and Demon with about 4 attackers. Suki rushed to Hydras's side, ready to attack any who wished to harm her Alphess.
Kuro lept to Demons side, going for one of the twins, jaws attampting to snap around her neck.
Legosa
He sprang, but a little bit too late. Psychopath hit his hindquarters, spinning Legosa to the side and tripping him up. Snarling angrily at missing his hit on Depression, Legosa plunged right at the fae with his deadly jaws agape. He drove at her full-force, keeping his jaws low enough to protect his own neck from attack. He was going to his his sheer size and power to try and overwhelm this fae and wrestle her down. Not letting up an ounce, bite like a wild thing for her face, moving forward all the while to try push her back, and possibly trip her up.
Diseased
He saw Mesa go for Forsaken and smirked. Served him right. HE saw Legosa attack his sister however and the black and white brutes hackles raised and he was off like a rocket heading straight for the hybrid. He leaped and with the help of Psychopath both began to attack the male anggrily. Psychopath went for Legosas throat trying to get away from his fangs while Diseased went for his shoulder.
Suki
She decided against her idea of protecting Hydras, afterall Legosa was under seige. The wolfess charged for Diseased, aiming for his throat.
Murderer
He watched the mass of wolves and immediatly his eyes lit up upon seeing Aaka. The small wolf charged for the white fae and slammed into her. Although it would tear Vivek up it would also make her lose her hold. He snarled and snapped at the white fae hoping to bring her down once and for all.
Blazen, Mercury and Spitfire
The three wolves had heard the call and charged towards the battle. Blazen went for Murderer as he attempted to his Aaka. He went for a throat hold.
Mercury saw Hydras had hold of Eternal and so he ran towards Eternal and his jaws went to close around one of her legs, he threw his head around wildly in an attempt to break the bone.
The son of Mercury, Spitfire, was only just a teenager but still big enough to join his father in the fight. He saw the small fox going for Legosa and charged for her, snapping at her small form.
Suicide
The odd colored wolf was the last to arrive. Suicide moved swiftly to Suki hoping to fend her off of Diseased. Siblings were to stick together. The faes fangs flashed and tore at the other hoping to kill or distract her.
Aaka
Her form was thrown off of Vivek and she felt someone teeth sink into her chest. She let out a pained snarl and struck back blindly. She didnt know who this wolf was and it angered her that he was beating her at her own war. She struck back with her forepaws aiming for his throat and with her hinds under his stomach to push him off of her.
Suki
The wolfess spotted Suicide in the corner of her eye. She stopped and pivoted round but was unable to move quick enough. Suicides fangs caught her shoulder. Suki growled furiously and swung her head round, jaws going for the exposed part of his neck, aiming for a throat hold.
Satan, V.estige, Vandras, Chaos, Kuro, Vitani, Zira
V.estige tried to pull away from Demons jaw and almost suceeded. Only a small flap of skin was pulled away from his throat as the beast lept sideways, away from Demon and was blocked from the beast by two fae's. He then went back to the task in hand. Hydras. He growled and went for the back of her neck. He just hoped his pack were okay...especially Sweetbrier...
Legosa
Legosa fended off Psychopath's attack by snapping at her muzzle still and preventing her from reach his throat. But he could not fend off two attackers at once. Legosa ducked and sprung from Diseased, after loosing a big tuft of fur on his shoulder. Whirling about to meet his new attacker, Legosa knew he couldn't go for a holding bite right now. Instead, he aimed to slash his fangs across Diseased's face, trying to wound his eyes if he could. This left him open for an attack by Psychopath, but it was the price he had to pay at the moment.
Murderer
He watched the mass of wolves and immediatly his eyes lit up upon seeing Aaka. The small wolf charged for the white fae and slammed into her. Although it would tear Vivek up it would also make her lose her hold. He snarled and snapped at the white fae hoping to bring her down once and for all.
Demon
Demon snarled but was glad to have back up. So many had attacked him at the same moment in time so he had no choice to lkeap back. When the little fox came at her he tried whacking her away with his paw, then he darted forth ramming into any attacker that was going for him.
Psychopath
She leaped at Legosa with anger and shouted "How dare you attack my brother!" Then bit into him. She hadnt really aimed but had leaped without thought hoping to bring him down that way.
Diseased snarled as Legosa bit him across the face. He was lucky though for it was just a line down his muzzle. With anger the wolf leaped once more for Legosa to bring him down.
Sweetbrier
The little vixen was swatted away like a fly, snarling in a high-pitched tone as his paw smashed across her face. She was about to lunge for the offending limb when teeth tore into her back. Yelping shrilly, the fox whirled around to spot Spitfire. She lunged straight for his face, trying to sink her teeth into his tender nose. It seemed suicidal to her, but she did what she must.
Ninaki, Kenyon, Aidan, & Black Feather
Ninaki continued his assault, going for Depression's throat. And Black Feather did what he could to attack the wolf's face and distract him.
Kenyon felt fangs tear deep into his throat and felt hot blood trick into his fur. He began to bite more furiously at Cutter, although he began to fear that it may be too late to save himself.
Another Lurker came onto the playing fields, though an unlikely one. Aidan had been warned by his aunt that the battle was drawing near. If he did not help his blood-family, then he could pretty well expect to find the livestock at the Ranch, where he lived, to be decimated. So he came. He was nearly as big as Kenyon, and a better fighter too. "Kenyon!" The hybrid barked, streaking towards the other as fast as his paws could carry him. Slowling down, he tired to lock his jaws around Cutter's throat and squeeze the life out of the wolf.
Spitfire
His jaws caught the top of her back and he smirked. Blood was good. He was taken abakc when the small fox lept for his face. She caught hold of his muzzle and he began to swing his head around in an attempt to fling her off.
Luna
She had not been wanting to take part in the war but now she must. She raced down to Spitfire attempting to slam into him. She was on Sweetbrier and Forsakens side. That was obvious. She attacked without mercy her fangs sinking cruely into flesh
Spitfire
The wolf was taken aback by Luna and her jaws sunk into his shoulder as he attempted to dodge her. He snarled and threw his head around, trying to throw off Brier and launch his fangs at Luna.
Luna
She dug her fangs into the males shoulder blood staining her maw crimson. She savored in its taste as it gushed into her mouth and she growled in pure pleasure. It was a sort of high for her. She shook her head to and fro hoping to tear as much as she could of the male to injure him even further.
Sweetbrier
The little vixen held on as long as she could, but her little teeth soon lost their grip and she was sent tumbling to the ground. She expected her enemy's teeth to close about her any moment, but a savior of sorts had come to her aid. Picking herself up, she rushed for Spitfire for a second time, with her new attack aiming at his throat.
Spitfire
As Sweetbrier's teeth slipped off, Spitfire jaws went for Luna's exposed neck. He snapped his jaws shut, hoping for a neck hold. His shoulder was bleeding heavily but he ignored it in his blood-lust. Sweetbrier's teeth his his chest in her second attempt but he lifted his paws and attepted to swat the fox away with heavy blows from his big paws.
Legosa
He began to back up hastily, but wasn't quick enough, and was caught beneath two wolvines. Expecting to feel their teeth at his exposed back, Legosa braced himself. But he too his position to an advantage and instantly snapped his raving jaws for one of Diseased's legs, attempted to crush the bone.
Vivek
Aaka's teeth were torn from his shoulder, spreading a stain of crimson on his fur as his flesh was torn deeply. For a moment he was about to attack Aaka, but then something hit the back of his neck. With yelp, he felt teeth close about his vital area and tried to twist away from the attacker, but she had him fast. He began to writhe and thrash about, trying to pull himself away from the dangerous grasp Vitani had on him.
Vitani
Yes, She had her mark. Now to hold it. She closed her jaws as tight as she could and began to shake her head, trying to catch the jugular of break the bone. She refused to let go though...
Hydras, Yersinia, & Pirqua
Hydras did what damage she could to Eternal's neck, if she managed to get it at all. But now another threat came her way, in the form of V.estige. After disengaging from her previous enemy, she whiped around to face him. However, his teeth cut through her flesh, caming dangerously close to her jugular. Snarling sharply at the pain, she snapped her trained jaws for the side of his face, trying to lay the flesh open there, where it might cause a good deal of blood loss.
Yersinia continued to attack Sekhmet's face and neck. Her broken paw caused the hybrid great torment, and made her fight all the harder.
Pirqua flipped onto her back, crying out once at the pain it caused her wing. But her wolvine friend had given her the chance to get into a defensive posutre. Now she stuck her talons up and opened her back. The next muzzle or paw to come her way could expect to get a good gashing.
Eternal
Eternal snarled at the pain in her neck but was lucky that Hydras had not struck her throat. Suddenly she shouted "TAKE OUT THE ALPHAS!" She didnt care about the others. As long as Aaka Legosa Demon and Hydras were taken care of all would be well. She leaped for Hydras's back aiming for the dogs spine hoping to paralyze her.
Sekhmet now saw the faes weakness and dived for the females other paw. Yersinia could not move fast and with both legs crippled she would be in major trouble.
Hydras, Yersinia, & Pirqua
Hydras growled deeply, trying her best to savage V.estige's face. Unable to spring away from Eternal, the alpha swung her body to the side enough to throw off the wolf's attack. Her fangs still hit thought, coming to rest in the muscels that lined Hydras's back. Switching attacks, she now struck for Eternal's throat, trying to cause a fatal wound to the already damaged area. She if she didn't do something soon, she could fall to these two attackers.
Yersinia was being beaten again. She manage to pull her other leg up quick enough to prevent it from being broken. But it was badly torn, and some skin hung down, tattered from her bloodied paw. The small hybrid struck right for Skehmet's throat, feeling a crazed desperation enter her. With both front legs so badly damaged, she was more open to attacks.
Sweetbrier
Sweetbrier snarled viciously and dug her fangs into his chest, trying to sink her teeth to the bone, where infection might later start up. But whether she was succesful at this or not, Brier couldn't hold out against the blows by Spitfire's paws. She finally let go, staggering a bit as her vision swam. Shaking her head, the fox changed her tactics and ran around Spitfire. Now her jaws were sprung for his underbelly, trying to sink deep into where the organs lay so close.
Insanity
He dived for Yersinia to aid Sekhmet. He opened his jaws wide and attempted to go for YErsinias throat the voices in his head screaming "KILL KILL KILL" until he screamed with rage. He dug his fangs into Yersinia. Would the Shadow Lurkers all die this time?
Sekhmet quit her attacking on Yersinia. She figured Insanity could handle the crippled dog fine. She went to aid Eternal as Satet followed her both leaping at the same time one black one grey both filled with rage for the Lurkers.
Eternal felt the females teeth sink into her already damaged neck and snarled pressing herself as close as she could to Hydras and pulling and tearing as much skin as she could away from the alpha.
Hydras, Yersinia, Ankh, & Pirqua
Hydras snarled even louder as the flesh was torn from her body, sending blood seeping into her tri-colored coat. Her jaws were shifted now, trying to draw themselves over the pathway of blood that held Eterna's life. Again, she squeezed her jaws together, trying with all her might to cut through the jugular. But she still had to deal with V.estige as best she could. She offered him powerful kicks, although they wouldn't go far to cause the male any damage. And yet a third enemy hit, splitting the alpha's flesh even more. She felt the pain scream over her body as the teeth worked at her like dozens of little blades. She couldn't fight off three that were as determed to kill her as they were. But she could try, at least, to kill one of them.
Yersinia's only saving grace, for the moment at least, was the collie blood in her. It had given her a very thick ruff that now went to save her from instant death from Insantity's jaws. His teeth closed mostly over her thick fur, although some of her skin was snagged. As she fought back at him with growing desperation, she couldn't really stop the larger canine from shifting his bite to a deadly hold.
Like a black wraith, another Lurker swept into the battlefield. Ankh. He was slightly smaller than Yersinia, but many times more vicious and cunning at fighting. Passing straight by Aidan; whom he hated, he went straight for Hydras. Little did he know that his aunt wanted him dead for what he had done to Aidan. Slipping in low and moving like a swift in the wind, the little hybrid dove down low and then sent his lethal jaws upwards, trying to snag Sekhmet's stomach and slit the tender skin open so that her organs might be exposed.
Insanity
He snarled in anger and shifted trying to get a better death grip on the fae. He pulled hard on her hoping to put as much weight on her as he could to pull her down. He could kill her easily then.
Vivek
Vivek felt the fangs grind deeper, harder into his living body. He was in a bad spot now, and did what he could to turn his head and snap at her own flesh. During his relentless struggles, felt a heavy, pressured sensation in his neck. A tingle ran down his spine, followed by raking pain. His paws began to tingle madly now, until he could not feel the ground beneath them. Vitani had fractured one of his vertebrea, putting dangerous pressure on his spinal cord.
It can't end like this! The father thought frantically as Aava flashed through his mind, I didn't get to tell her... Vivek fought even harder now, thinking of his mate. But his life was so close to death, that a shift of Vitani's jaws could paralyze him quickly.
Demon
Demon saw the three attackers on Hydras. He snarled and charged for V.estige going straight for his throat. He was not going to let them kill her, there was no way in hell. He parted his jaws and went to dig his teeth into V.estiges neck to get the males attention away from Hydras and onto him. Blood lust filled his eyes as he was determined to spare no mercy on any enemys.
Yersinia
The little femme squirmed beneath the larger foe, snapping at his face in an attempt to draw as much blood from him as possible. Yet all her efforts were proving futile as his jaws shifted mercilously around her throat, finally settling over the vital area. Gasping against the gripping jaws, she felt the teeth dig dangerously deep into her flesh. Blood began to well up from the wound, trickling through her fur and collecting in a dark pool on the battered ground.
Liseli*Sauda
Liseli and Sauda pounded in, taking a moment to register things before leaping into the fray. Seeing Vivek in danger, Sauda leapt for Vitani's neck, attempting to catch hold of her much as she held Vivek, or at least distract the other long enough to make her let go.
Liseli brought her attack from the side, more visible to Vatani in hopes that the distraction would give Sauda time to land her attack. The two sisters had their differences but they had mastered their strategy long ago.
Death Pack
Insanity snarled and bit harder into Yersinia his true rage coming through. He grinded his teeth back and forth hoping to cause more blood loss.
Psychopath continued her attack her body covered with numerous scratches and bites.
Murderer attached himself to Aaka's shoulder blade in his fury then began to yank hard on the alpha. He was trying to literally rip her skin off of her.
Diseased suddenly leaped at Legosa hoping to throw the male off and away from Psychopath. This way Legosa would be more distracted with him then his smaller sister with red eyes.
Aaka*Sequioa
Sequioa bounded in from the ranch and looked at all of the damage. She saw Pirqua and immediatly rushed to the bird. Reaching the falcon she growled "You bite me I eat you." As gently as she could she picked the bird up and raced her away from the fight to the woodland farm. One of the Lurkers was hurt would the others survive?
Aaka screamed in both rage and pain as her shoulder was torn apart but now Murderer was in for it. Aaka twisted her body up and latched onto the males face biting him hopefully across the eye. This was war everything was fair.
V.estige, Spitfire, Vitani
V.estige was pleased with himself when his jaws caught Hydras' neck. Her jaws wipped round and caught the edge of his face, close to his eye. Blood began to pour from the wound, running down his face and chest. When Hydras pulled away from his jaws, V.estige cursed under his breath and had just enough time to spot Demon coming for him again. With a growl he turned to face Demon, his head tucked so that Demons jaws caught his muzzle. V.estige lifted his paws, standing on his back legs, pulling Demon up with him, and began to smack the brute with his paws, trying to dislodge his jaws with the huge smacks of the wolf's paws and claws.
Spitfire howled in pain as the fox continued to grip onto his chest, Spitfires blows became more desperate and finally she let go. With a sigh of relief he watched her, letting go of his grip on Luna. He turned to face her as she went for his underbelly and dipped his muzzle, jaws attempting to snap shut around her body, his paws coming round to knock the wind out of her and cut her with his claws.
Vitani grinned mercilessly and refused to let go, trying to shuffle her jaws to paralyze the wolf, biting down as hard as she could. She saw Liseli and knew she was in trouble. She wasn't use to the likes of war and without her father by her side she felt very vunarable. Yet she knew if she was going to die she would take Vivek with her. Jaws then hit the back of her neck. In a cry of pain, Vitani lifted her hind paws and tried in vain to cut and scratch at Sauda's underbelly or body to get her off. Blood began to seep from her wound as Sauda's teeth sank into her neck. Liseli's fangs caught her shoulder and blood also began to spew from there. She cried out in pain but refused to let go of Vivek and bit down harder in her pain, trying to get rid of him so that she could attack the other two.
Casino and Poker
The pair of wolves, brother and sister, each joined the fight at one of the most crucial points.
Casino saw Hydras with three attackers and dived for Satet, jaws ready to clamp down on whatever they caught but her target was the neck.
Poker saw Vitani in trouble being attacked by three also. He tore across the ground and went for Sauda leaping for her neck or back in an attempt to pull her off Vitani.
Demon
He was pleased to have caught V.estiges mug but growled when V.estiage stood on back paws and whacked him with his paws. Of course Demon tried to balance whimself with his back legs while diggining his fangs deeping into what hold he had on V.estige. Of course he held on tight when V.estige continously whacked at his paws and chest. Even though wolves claws are more blunt, unlike a cats sharp claws, they still did damage. Some of the fur where V.estige scratched and whacked with his fur was knocked off, scratches left where he was hit. Despite that though Demon knew he had a better prize within his jaws, and if he could break it then it would leave V.estige at a big disadvantage. He continued to bite harder while keeping his balance best he could. He jerked his head to try and pull V.estige down so they'd both be standing on all four, hopefully it would work.
Vivek
Vivek felt a wave of tingling roll down his body, making his paws fumble as he fought to pull from his attacker. But all this struggling and pulling only tightened death's grip, and it wasn't long before the fatal move was made. Vitani had put enough pressure down while Vivek moved in just the right way to finally severe the connection. And just like that, the second victim of this war faded into oblivion. The alpha's body slump to the ground as his tattered fur settled neatly over his lifeless body, as if he were only asleep. But no breath stirred from his beaten frame, and deep inside his chassis, his fresh blood lay pooled in his still heart and veins.
Sweetbrier
Sweetbrier jumped when she felt jaws close around her, but she didn't move fast enough. And then the wind was knocked out of her with the heavy blows of his paws. Snarling like a banshee, she turned her teeth on his muzzle, trying to tear his flesh to the bone. However, her previous wound was causing her a great deal of torment, for that's where Spitfire had his hold on her again.
Legosa
Legosa felt his back being littered with bites as Psychopath continued her assault until he could feel the warm trickle of blood seep down his sides. He was about to switch tactics and go for her throat when he spotted Diseased going for him once more. The white brute shifted his feet just in time, bracing himself against the other's charge. Although it winded him and certainly drew his major attention from the sister, Legosa kept all his paws firmly under him. Reeling with the pain in his back and suddenly becoming panicked at hearing Aaka's cries, Legosa unleashed the boiling fury that always raged somewhere deep inside of him. Like a furious snake, the alpha whipped his muzzle around, striking his glistening iviores for Diseased's flesh.
Although Legosa loved a good challenge, he was getting frustrated by this double-teaming by the siblings. He wanted to put a quick end to one of them, if he could. And so his jaws were aimed straight for Diseased's throat, wanting to tear it straight out of his enemy.
Yersinia & Pirqua
"I can still fight!" Pirqua declared, but didn't struggle as Sequioa picked her up. She winced at the shooting pain that bolted down her wing, but did her best to conceal her agony as she was swifted away from battle.
Yersinia was in dire straights now, feeling like a helpless samon caught in a grizzly's powerful jaws. No matter how much she faught and struck out against Insanity, she couldn't make him let go. "Aidan!" She blurted out, scenting her brother was nearby, although she couldn't see him. But even as she managed to squeeze the name out from her constricted airway, she felt deep down that it was too late. A coldness began to creep into her body, stealing across her paws and down her limbs. A lightness entered her next, making her hearing swim and grow faint as lights dancing around the corners of her eyes. The only one she could see now was Insanity, towering like a monster above her. Her fight began to dim down as life ebbed from her body. She was in shock, and had lost too much blood; she was knocking on death's door now.
Death Pack
The male snarled as Legosa found his throat. Diseased struggled against the white male as hard as he could striking him with his paws and trying to bite at the males face. "Pscyhopath!" He shouted.
The female saw Legosa attach to her brother and snarled. She leaped for Legosa trying to get the scruff of his neck and drag him back and off of Diseased. She to struck with her paws hoping to distract him from Diseased.
Insanity cackled madly and tore at Yersinias throat visicously. Her blood stained the ground and he backed away from her. His job was done here. She was to far gone. But who was this Aidan she spoke of? He looked around trying to find someone else to attack. He snarled and leaped for Demon his anger radiating off of him. He needed to get the male away from V.estige. He tore at flesh and bone hoping to distract the male in his attack.
Murder snarled as Aaka's fangs struck his eye. In his fury he pulled hard and he knew that he couldnt keep this up forever. Either her shoulder would tear or she would get loose some how. He let go suddenly and leaped for the faes throat that was exposed.
Cutter continued his attack upon Kenyon unrelenting to the male.
Cut my life into peices this is my last Resort.
Ninaki, Kenyon, Aidan, & Black Feather
Ninaki felt the bloodlust surge into him as he went to attack Depression. But he heard his daughter's cry, though not for his name. All the same, the hybrid wheeled around in time to see Insanity running away from Yersinia, with blood staining his maw. A blind fear gripped him for a moment as he saw Yersinia on the ground. Oh no, not again! His mind screamed at him, thinking back to Storm Dancer and the day Turret had killed her. Filled with the passionate fury of revenge, Ninaki tore after Insanity, but no snarl came from his writhing lips. No growl or bark or any sound save his hammering paws on the snow to tell Insanity of his approach. Ninaki sprung not for the throat, but for the gut. Ninaki wanted to tear into the enemy and make him suffer!
Kenyon fought back as hard as he could, but like Yersinia, he began to find his strength fleeting. Although Cutter hadn't gotten him to quite the state of Yersinia, he was not far from death either.
Aidan went straight for Cutter's throat, trying to drive his fangs across the pulsing life vien that would spill the precious blood from his foe and leave him kicking in the snow. His ears perked at the calling from his sister, and he saw with agonizying pain that she was stricken down. As desperately as he wanted to go to her, he had to deal with Cutter first.
Black Feather turned skyward, after he did what he could to cut up Depression. For a moment the falcon circled the skies before bolting down again. This time, he went for Insanity, going for the eyes, as always, to hopefully distract the male from Ninaki's sneak attack. And perhaps to buy Demon time to notice the assault.
Insanity*Sequioa*Cutter*Depression
He was going for him he had him he-Insanity was suddenly thrown from his target by a large form. It wasnt Ninaki however but Sequioa. The black and tan fae leaped at him and started to strike him but she to was thrown off. Now they were all in for it. Two cougars arrived. One was White Noise, an allie of Aakas. The other however was .battered. a large cougar that dwarfed even Ghost Walker. The cougar struck Sequioa off of Insanity and stood protectivly over the white wolf. "Go!" He snarled. Insanity leaped up and ran not heading for Demon but for Aidan. Cutter was to busy to notice him as Insanity leaped for the male aiming for his throat.
Sequioa snarled and rolled as she stood. She was next to Ninaki anger radiating off of the fae. She leaped for .battered. her fury pushing her to extremes. To many on their side were going down. She was making Suicide moves and she knew it.
Speaking of Suicide the wolf appeared after helping to fend off some of the wolves from Vivek. No point in fighting over a dead body. The female leaped for Ninaki hoping to kill him. She to was furious but for different reasons.
Insanity tried to keep away from the bird as much as possible. He snarled at it angrily but he didnt kill it for he was to busy trying to get Aidan away from his friend.
Ghost Walker snarled at the other cougar and was about to attack when Eternal suddenly leaped upon him. He snarled in rage and flipped around as the black wolf attached to his back ripping up in between his shoulders. She was trying to get the scruff of his neck and it made him angrier then before. He whirled and swatted at her but alas he could not bend that way. He rolled suddenly hoping to crush her under his massive weight. Crimson stained the ground everywhere anyone looked. Would this war end?
Legosa
Legosa grinned wickedly as he felt his fangs sink into Diseased. But his joy was short lived, for now Psychopath had set her own weapons into his flesh. His skin and muscles flamed with pain where she had bitten into and began to pull. Yet Legosa refused to leave his hold on the other. He began to shake his head around with all the strength he could muster, trying to literally tear the other's throat out.
Diseased
He felt his throat beginning to cave in and he let out a choked cough. He trued to pull away once more but knew that he was far gone. His body slumped and he was dead weight in Legosa's jaws. But was it real? The male was torn up but his throat was not torn out. He could still live if one of his mates got him out of here quickly.
Psychopath saw her brother go down and screamed right in Legosa's ear "NO!!!!" That alone would do some damage to the poor male. She struck out at him viciously tearing at him in her anger but suddenly she pulled away and ran from Legosa. She would kill him another way. She raced out of the eskers and towards the Silver Glades pack where six or seven pups lay with only one to protect them.
Ninaki, Kenyon, Aidan, & Black Feather
Ninaki scrambled back at first as fear flickered through his dark orbs. Now another haunting memory came to him, and he remembered with great anguish the cougar that had killed his beloved Narsia. Although this wasn't the brute that had slain her, Ninaki didn't care. As soon as Sequioa plunged in, Ninaki did too. Yet he was suddenly hammered by another force; Suicide. The hybrid rolled across the snow but instinctively tucked his head. Then his jaws shot out, hoping to snag a hold of the fae's paw and drag her to the ground.
Kenyon was growing still weaker as his blood pooled thick beneath him.
Aidan drew back from his attack as Insanity rushed upon him. He would have gotten nailed by the enemy, if Black Feather hadn't warned of the approach. Aidan sprung lightly aside at the last moment, hoping that Insanity might score a hit on Cutter instead. Whether this worked or not, Aidan plunged back into the fray, his fangs set on ripping open the side of Insanity's neck.
Black Feather continued his assault, but changed tactics a bit. Instead of dive-bombing the wolf, he attempted to actually land on Insanity's muzzle, by digging his fangs into the flesh. And using his wings, he would attempt to block the wolf's vision while his beak set the orbs, wanting to tear them out of their sockets.
Hydras, Skeil, Ankh, & Mesa
Hydras continued to fight Eternal.
Ankh did what he could to gash Sekhmet's stomach before springing away from her. For a moment he paused, surveying the battle. Then he picked up a new target. Cutter. Although Ankh could care less about Aidan, Kenyon was dear to him, though he wouldn't admit that to anyone. Growling furiously, the small hybrid launched himself at Cutter, trying to tear his curved eyeteeth down the wolf's tender belly, to spill his guts.
Skeil arrived now, her heart heavy with Jet's recent death. Another casualty in this war. The pit bull saw Sequioa going for the cougar and barked in alarm. She tore across the ground and went straight for the cat's front leg, right where the elbow joint was. She wanted to crush the bones beneath her steel-like jaws.
Mesa wanted to help Sequioa as well, but knew that she could be swatted down quite easily. Instead, she turned to help Demon. Flitting through the air like a blazing bullet, she struck for V.estige, trying to rake him across the back with her talons.
Psychopath*Lost
Psychopath returned once more but she was not alone. In her jaws she held Aaka and Legosa pup Lost. The female looked proud of herself and she set the pup down with a thump. When Lost tried to run Psychopath stepped upon the pups back stopping her. She let out a howl calling to all of Aakas allies. Lookie what she had.....She was ready to grab Lost and run. Many would follow her this she knew. They couldnt afford to have an alphas daughter die now could they?
Lost screamed in pain as Psychopaths claws dug into her small spine. "MAMA!!!" She screamed. Aaka was somewhere among the mass of colors. Somewhere....
Aaka heard her daughters call and she glanced in Psychopaths direction. Seeing her daughter made the alphess freeze as Murderer suddenly went for her throat. Aaka let out a choked cry as she felt his fangs sink into her flesh. She saw her daughter, her mate, her allies and her enimies all around her. "Leg-Legosa" she choked out. She called to her mate as loud as she could but amidst all the snarling and enraged animals it would be hard for her mate to hear her call.
Legosa
Legosa had released Diseased with a snort, and then had watched with satisfaction as Psychopath fled. Coward. He thought smugly to himself before looking about for his next victim. The large brute began to prowel through the masses, assessing the damage done and how his allies were fairing; although their lives weren't much to him; only Aaka mattered. He was searching along for a bit when Psychopath's howl came to him, stopping him dead in his tracks, just before he was about to lunge for one of his enemies. His body tensed as he readied himself to charge the offensing fea. But a second cry ground his efforts to a halt.
Without even debating in his mind, the alpha flew blindly in the direction of Aaka's call, his heart thundering hard in his deep chest as he plunged past the fighting canids towards his beloved. "AAKA!" He let his voice roar out as his eyes set their sights on Murder. Everyone else faded away from his senses as he locked on to his quarry. With a tremendous push of his hinds, Legosa sailed through the air with surprising agility and aim, even for his massive body. Like the deadly jaws of a wolf trap, Legosa aimed to sink his teeth into the back of Murder's neck. He was not going for a throat hold this time, but for the spine. If he hit his target, his jaws would close like a vice, doing what they could to snap the true lifeline of the neck; the spinal cord.
Liseli*Sauda
Sauda felt rather than saw Vivek sink underneath them, and dug her fangs mercilessly into the other's flesh. He had been a father!
Liseli released her hold as Vivek died, and managed to spot a wolf leaping for Sauda just in time. Taking a flying leap over top of the two grappling faes, Liseli came to her sister's rescue, grasping for a hold on the other's maw.
In a glimpse of fur and flesh, the darker sister managed to get a glimpse of V.estige. He was in dire straights, and once glance made up her mind. Grinding her teeth one last time into her victim's neck, she dashed forward to put herself between Mesa and V.estige, snarling as she aimed to meet her full on and knock her back.
Murderer
The wolf snarled as he felt someone leap upon him. Legosa's fangs were true and they hit the males spinal cord. He released Aaka and whirled upon Legosa trying to get the larger male off of his back in his anger. If Legosa did break his spine he was done for.
Psychopath saw her brother in danger but made no move to save him. She growled and put more pressure upon Lost's back making the puppy scream in pain. She watched everyone carefully. She had to make some of them break their fight and chase her. Thats when Aaka flew. The white alphess was bleeding at the throat and shoulder but adrenaline was raging through her. The female launched herself at Psychopath slamming hard into the larger female. Both of them went down into the snow and they tumbled and rolled down the hill both faes snarling viciously and and both snapping dangerously at one another.
Lost didnt know what to do, where to run so she stayed where she was cowering to the ground. She didnt know how to get home or which way to go.
Hidden
Hidden charged to the battle grounds blood staining her fur. She was here for revenge upon Skeil. She saw Diseased however and that he was still breathing. She rushed to him and looked at the damage done to his throat. If she got him to the lady he would be alright. She grabbed his scruff and began to pull dragging the male away to the woodland farm.
Unknown
the infamous huntress had come when she had heard the news. Seeing the small pup lost in the battle she lunged for it picking the pup up by the scruff of its nape as gently as she could given the danger a soft whimper escaped her to let the pup know she wouldn't harm her. Instead she pivoted upon her hind stalks to take the pup to the den of the lurkers where she would be safe.
Legosa
Legosa was greatly releived when Aaka was released. Yet he didn't let that hamper his hold on Muderer's neck. Rather, the big brute bit even harder, putting over a thousand pounds of pressure per square inch on the bones, trying his hardest to break the structures and bring instant death to his foe. While snarling and wreslting with his own attacker, Legosa kept one ear pivoted towards Aaka, hearing vaguely the scuffles she was in. But first, he had to contend with Murderer.
Mesa
Mesa shifted her agile body in the air, but recieved a glancing blow from Sauda none-the-less. A few feathers twirled into the air, having been knocked forcefully loose in the brief collision. But Mesa managed to keep her wits about her, and with caculated flaps of her dark wings, she righted her course and pulled herself out of the wolf's reach before a second attack could be made.
The falcon veered away, heading upwards before she turned and dove down again. Now she was heading for Sauda's muzzle, trying for a swift attack that might draw her sharp talons over the lupine's nose and skin. She knew it wouldn't be much of anything, but at least it might help buy her allies some time by distracting an enemy.
Sauda
Sauda cursed silently as the bird escaped her clutches, looking up at her as she rode up on the warm air currents. As Mesa came in for her dive, Sauda leaped to meet her, muzzle taking the punishment of avian claws as she tried to catch hold of the bird.
Psychopath
The female snarled as one of Aakas clicks off teeth cut her across the face but then Psychopath rolled once more and she managed to get her feet under her. She launched herself at the still rolling Aaka landing hard on the fae. A crack could be heard as one of Aakas ribs broke but the white female fought back as hard as she could. She was losing a lot of blood and if she didnt get out of here soon there wouldnt be a guarentee that she would live. Aaka struck out in desperation and felt her teeth sink into Psychopaths front leg. She bit down hard and heard the snap of the bone breaking and she grinned in glee. When they reached the bottom of the hill, Psychopath stood on her three good legs. She had to fight, she had to. But she had nothing to fight with. She growled and knew that she had to get out of here. Otherwise she wouldnt make it through this war. Aaka was about to leap and attack but suddenly a form hurled herself at Aaka. It was Hidden a small fae that Aaka had tortured when Hidden had been a puppy. This was the only thing that saved Psychopath and she took her chance while she had it. The fae limped to the woodland farm praying that Insanity would make it through as well.
Murderer however was not so lucky. Legosas teeth crushed down onto his spine and the male snarled in pain but then it was snapped. There was no hope left for him now. He to became dead weight in Legosas jaws. But this time it was not an act.
Forsaekn snarled. This was not going as planned. He leaped for Ankh aiming for the males shoulder. He had to get them away from Insanity for the crazy wolf was not the best at fighting.
Insanity's momentum carried him farther then he hoped. He flew over Kenyon and rolled through the air and hit the ground hard but he stood quickly. He couldnt go down. He growled at the insistant bird and snapped at him angrily. "Get away from me!" He snarled. He then leaped going for Aidan now aiming for the dogs shoulder.
Hydras, Skeil, Ankh, & Mesa
Ankh was busying himself with Cutter when Forsaken hit. With a startled yelp, the black hybrid tried to spring back, but as he did, he felt a strange and horrible pain in his front limb. The entire front leg was wrought with stunning pain and almost completely unresponsive. Although he had pulled it clear from Forsaken's jaws at the last moment, the wolf had gripped it tight enough to pull it from its socket. Yelping at the strange and horrible new pain, Ankh sent his fangs at Forsaken's face with blind fury. The eyes, nose, and thin skin around his muzzle; this is what Ankh tried to tear at, wanting to cause the other as much blood loss as possible.
The others continued to fight their hardest, with Hydras doing what she could to get Eternal's neck, while Skeil worked on trying to break Battered's front paw.
Mesa gave a screech as one of her legs managed to get caught by Sauda. The falcon flapped frantically, trying to pull her captured limb away from the wolf, while her free talons and beak went madly for the enemy's face and eyes.
Ninaki, Kenyon, Aidan, & Black Feather
Kenyon's fighting, like Yersinia, had simmered down to a point where it was clear that he was beat. He had lost too much blood. Although he would survive for a while longer, nothing could stop his death now.
Black Feather continued to assault Insanity, delighting in the frustration that he was causing the wolf. Being only a third the size of Pirqua and his daughters, he was very agile and quick, and so avoided most of the snaps. But a few raked his feathers, even breaking some of his vital flight feathers on his wings and drawing a good deal of blood from the tattered shafts.
Aidan sprung nimbly away from Insanity, loosing a patch of fur to the brute's teeth. Knowing that Black Feather would get tagged sooner or later, Aidan suddenly threw himself at Insanity in a change of moves. Aidan brought his head low, protecting his neck as he aimed to ram into Insanity and throw him to the ground. As he rammed, his low jaws went right for one of the wolf's front legs...
Hidden Betrayal
The black female charged into the land darkly. She would die in battle. She saw Aidan and went automatically for him. She leaped at the male her jaws open aiming for one of the males legs giving Insanity a chance to get the bird or to help her get this dog.
Legosa
Legosa was gloating over his second victory, giving the limp Murderer a victorious thrashing before letting his lifeless body fall to the ground. Licking his bloodied chops, the alpha turned his eyes about, seekinng out Aaka. A snarl errupted from his throat and he sprang in her dirrection. His massive frame rocketed towards Hidden and his great jaws attempted to seize the fae around the neck and toss her away from Aaka.
Sauda
Sauda growled a little as the talons scraped her tongue and snout, but closed her eyes to protect them from gouging. Throwing her weight into her hindquarters, she dropped to the ground, teeth grinding into that leg, attempting to sever it, if possible.
Aaka
Her movements were growing more and more sluggish as more and more blood pooled from her wounds. She struck out at Hidden her teeth sinking into the younger faes muzzle but it wasnt enough to cause complete pain to the female. Aakas vision swam but she growled and forced herself to stay awake, stay in the game. Stay alive.
Legosa grabbed onto Hidden and the small black fae felt her body being hurled away from Aaka leaving tear maks across the white alphess. Hidden landed with a thump and snarled but then whirled and turned to find Skeil in the fray of things. Finding the white female Hidden launched herself once moreat the pit bull anger driving her to extremes. She slashed and tore at the pit in her anger trying her hardest to avenge her brother.
.battered. snarled and struck out at all the wolves surrounding him. Especially Sequioa. He hit the female hard sending the female flying scratch marks covering her black and tan body. Sequioa stood gathering herself and leaped once more for the male. .battered. tried to hit Skeil now fury coursing through the massive male. He would kill the pit if she didnt go away.
Forsaken laughed and pulled away from the dog and then leaped once more for Ankh was crippled now. He went for Ankhs other shoulder hoping to bring the male down.
Cutter tore once more at Kenyon then leaped away from them all. He searched for someone new to attack and his eyes flashed. Legosa. He charged for the male sending his body flying through the air and aiming for the males under belly trying to split him open.
Legosa
Legosa was torn between fighting and taking Aaka for help. He had finally decided to take her to the Lady when yet another opponent flew his way. His sight for battles was very acute, giving the great white fighter some headway when he spotted Cutter charge. Legosa dropped his stance into a defensive one as he stood in front of his dear mate. He was furious beyond belief at the moment, knowing he must get her to help. But he couldn't very well do that with Cutter attacking him.
Legosa waited until the wolf was very nearly to him before moving. Instead of jumping away, Legosa swung his jaws down, ready to seize Cutter's muzzle in his own. He wanted to break the jaw bone and leave the wolf to die a slow death. Although Legosa's aim was always very calculated and accurate, Cutter was moving rather fast. And Legosa himself was feeling worn and battered from the long battle. Still, he was confident in his abilities to fend off Cutter.
Hydras, Skeil, Ankh, & Mesa
Skeil yelped as the cougar's claws tore across her side, shedding her blood in a splattered stain across her coat and the dirty snow below. She was willing to take him for another attack when she heard the approach of another close by. Skeil whirled around just in time to face Hidden. Forcing her limbs into a swift jump, the pit bull got herself away from the younger wolf just in time. She had fought in too many battles to be taken easily, especially by an inexperienced fighter. And Jet's death still rang clear in her mind. So, it was a battle of revenge then, for them both. Each fighting for one that they had cared for and had watched die. The pit bull flung herself at Hidden, her jaws snapping about for any bite she could land. And once she landed one, she was determined to hold it.
Ankh turned his small frame to the side, leaving Forsaken's fangs to land on the opposite shoulder. Knowing better than to pull back this time, Ankh went straight for a jugular bite, knowing his life depended on wounding this male as quick and hard as he could.
Mesa gave a high-pitched cry as Sauda's teeth grinded through her leg. There wasn't much to go through, either. She felt herself suddenly fall from the wolf's jaws; but there was something missing... half of her leg! In shock, the falcon lay on her back, her wings half-tucked to her body. But despite being in shock, her other talons were spread wide and her beak was held open. If Sauda went for her, she'd have to deal directly with those razor-sharp weapons first.
Ninaki, Kenyon, Aidan, & Black Feather
Aidan was too focused with Insanity, giving Hidden Betrayal the opportunity to take her hit. With a yelp, the hybrid tried to spring away, but she had gotten his hind limb. He began to kick the trapped limb wildly, trying to shake it free of Betrayal's grasp.
Sauda*Liseli
Sauda spit out the peice of leg, keening in one eye that Mesa had managed to burst in a last struggle. She knew better than to head for the falcon now, and was content that Mesa could do no damage to V.estige.
Liseli kept on her sister's near side, making sure no one would harm her, but Sauda had other ideas.
Twisting her dark chassis about, Sauda leapt recklessly for Demon, her good eye wide and glaring. Her aim was to tackle the male away from V.estige. It would have been clear to anyone that V.estige could defend himself against one opponent, but something had snapped within the dark fae, and all she could think of was keeping Demon away from her friend's mate. Jaws gaped, hoping to catch hold of anything and everything that she could grasp.
Demon
Demon continued to snarl and shook his head volently continuing to clamp his jaws tighter around V.estiges maw determined to impair him tremendously in the fight, and even kill the male if he got the chance. Demon spotted Sauda coming and despite V.estage clawing at him and tearing his fur Demon tried to jerk V.estige infront of him with the hold he had, thus putting the male in the way of the attack, hopefully he would suceed.
Aaka
The female snarled at a moving fidure unknowing to who it was. Colors were fading into one another and everything kept blacking out. Her body was going numb and suddenly the white fae fell. She was not dead but she needed help badly. Very very badly.
Insanity gripped even harder not letting go of his bite.
The male snarled and leaped for Skeil as well. Hidden was not a fighter, this he knew. The little female was better at guarding someone or something then anything. He aimed for Skeils spine hoping to cripple the female.
The years of War Will Be REMEMBERED
Abamacho
The black and silver male trotted to the eskers. Ah so the battle was on. He began to prowl through the mass of bodies his sleek form untouched by all forms. He dodged a group of wolves that were fighting snorting as they rolled in front of him. He howled calling for Soleda. She would get a kick out of all this. The yearling leaped into the fray aiming for .battered. He may as well start somewhere.
Kekochoi
The small black female raced from her territory to the eskers her eyes gazing around frantically. Thats when they locked onto Abamacho. She snarled and howled calling for Kianga. If Abamacho was here then Soleda would be to. Kekochoi raced down the hill and leaped her aim calculated. She was aiming for her brothers side hoping to break one of his ribs. She was unsure if they would kill each other or if maybe they would let one another live. She snarled in her fury her fangs cruel and punishing.
V.estige
As Demon tried to pull him in front of Sauda, V.estige pulled in the other direction, his muzzle being ripped out from Demons jaws. Blood and deep wounds made his muzzle appear red, however it was not broken. He wasn't in Sauda's path but the momentem built up from his pull against demons made him fall to the floor. He quickly stood up and went for Demon, jaws going for the back of his neck, aiming to break his spine whilst his attention was on Sauda.
His muzzle was bleeding heavily, blood running down his nose onto his chest.
Sauda*Liseli
Sauda almost pulled back when she saw V.estige in the way, but continued leaping forward as her alphen managed to get back out of the way. Her gored eye was bleeding profusely, making her vision blurred as she leapt for Demon's throat.
Liseli ran after her sister, wondering silently what had gotten into her. Picking up speed, she aimed for legs, trying to disable Demon and distract him from V.estige's more deadly attack.
Kianga*Soleda
Soleda came to Abamacho's call, a devilish grin gracing her mug as she trotted in. She was surveying the damage with pleasure when she saw Keko leap for her brother. Letting out a cry to her friend, she leapt for Kekochoi, trying to tackle the smaller pup.
A flash of white from the left rammed Soleda solidly, knocking her to the ground. Kianga growled her fury, the normally bright eyes dark in vengeance and anger. YOU TORE THE FAMILY APART! MAMA AND PAPA ALMOST DIED! STOP THIS! YOU WILL CAUSE NO MORE HARM! And she leapt for her sister, fangs honed on her spine.
Domnio, Xina and Sxythe
After securing their new homeland, the trio followed their packmates to the battle and say complete decimation and destruction.
Domnio saw Aaka fall, protected by Legosa. Shouting to Xina, he commanded her to help the fallen alphess.
Xina nodded and took off towards Aaka. Reaching her side, the muscularly, big femme gently whispered to her.
It's okay Aaka, Me and Legosa are here. We'll get help as soon as we can.
She knew that the war loving fatale would hate the diea of being rpotected and not being able to act but she was severly hurt. When Xina was sure she wasnt going to get attacked, She gently grabbed Aaka and hoisted her onto her back. She then went to woodland farm in the hope of saving the alphess before she joined the heavens.
Aidan
Aidan lashed out at Insanity, but found the thick of his neck was taken in the other's jaws, while his hind limb was trapped by Hidden Betrayal. The underside of his throat was still sore and healing from his last battle, and so his predicament was certainly not a good one. All four limbs were sent into a frenzy, kicking about this way and that so that Aidan's body was writhing and twisting about to trying and free himself from at least one of their holds. His jaws snapped at Insanity before trying to get a hold of one of the wolf's ears. It wouldn't cause him death or anything, but Aidan hoped to tear the apendage right off and distract the brute with pain.
Skeil
The pit bull pulled herself away from Hidden now, though regretfully. She have to leave herself open to the younger fae in order to take on this new attacker, whom she had spied coming with her battle-sensative ears. Through her paws, so much more sensative than the human's feet, she could detect the fast approach of this assailant as well, amongst the scuffling bodies around her. Momentarily forgetting about Hidden, Skeil throw her body to the side in time to save herself from a paralyzing grip. It didn't save her from all damage however, for Depression's teeth had cut long furrows across her back which swelled with blood and tricked down her sides. Pouncing forward with a spring of her hind limbs, Skil went for the other's lower leg, trying to bring her teeth down where all those little bones came together. It would be much easier and much more devistating to break than the thicker bones further up the leg.
Demon
He growled, landing on his feet as V.estige managed to pull away. Demon was no fool however and was smart about battles. He knew to pay attention to everything otherwise it would mean more trouble for him then needed. At seeing all three coming for him, he tucked his neck and turned running a short distance away to escape some of the attacks before he retaliated, after all it was no easy task going up against three alone... he managed to avoid to of the attacks and avert one. He felt Vestige's fangs hit his side instead of their mark but they dug deep into his fleash. He ripped away however leaving a large bloody gash in his side. He turned and tried to ram into V.estige, as well as snap at the two faes that tried to attack, if they were close enough.
Abamacho
He snarled as his body was flung away from .battered. and he hit the ground hard his sister landing upon him. Kekochois teeth sunk deep into his flesh but the male paid no mind to it. He snarled at Kekochoi and used brute strength to get himself up and pushed her off of him. Now she was in for it. The large male outweighed Kekochoi by at lest forty pounds. Its what she got for being the runt of the litter. His fangs sank deep into his sisters shoulder and she yelped in pain and tried to tear herself away causing more pain then ever. She whimpered and struck out at her brother with sharp fangs slashing at his own shoulder. They were both profusely bleeding but neither paid any mind. No words were spoken and all that could be heard from the two were snarls of rage and anger and pain. One of them wasnt going to make it through this fight.
Azul
Azul leapt into the fray his weaker chassis moving by and over a few fights some snapped at him but the Alpha wasn't worried about them soon his mix-matched voids found his son and daughter but bleeding terrible. As his son readied himself for another attack Azul came from behind and puched off knowing his son's attention would be only on his sister and not those abouth im Azul aimed to come down upon his back being larger than his son he aimed to force him down pinn him if he may things had to be settled now.
Abamacho
The male snarled as another weight slammed into him. Kekochoi was torn from his jaws blood smearing the small fatales body. He tried to throw his father off of him. Although still young the male had almost reached his adult size and since his father had so much weight it wouldnt be as hard as normal. He struck out at Azul his anger raging adrenaline rushing. He was turning into the killer that Aaka had predicted him to be.
Moon Spirit rushed in and surveyed the damage. She was about to rush to help her daughter when another sight caught the females eye. Aaka. Her white sister was being carried away from battle badly bleeding. It didnt look as if her sister was stll even breathing. Moon Spirit was torn between the two and decided to see if her sister was alright. She rushed to the female as fast as she could
Forsaken heard her. She was here. He tore away from the male and said viciously "Ill be back to finish you off." He raced away and headed towards Moon Spirit. He slammed hard into the sick fae sending the white female sprawling. A resounding thud could be heard as she hit the ground and Forsaken leaped upon her his fangs tearing cruely into the females flesh. Moon Spirit was to stunned for a moment to strike back or guard her throat. It was all he needed. Forsaken lunged for the females throat and he held her tight. Moon Spirit was done in for if someone didnt break the males hold.
Ankh
Ankh began to hobble after Forsaken, yelping evertime his stunned leg touched something, for it sent a wave of pain shooting up the limb. But he wasn't going to let Moon Spirit down; that was one of his first real fights, in helping to claim the Sedge Creek for her. Indeed, he had nearly died in the battle too, but it had made him all the stronger. Holding back his yelps as he got closer to Forsaken, Ankh forced himself in one last jump, diving for his enemy's stomach. His long, sharply pointed muzzle thrust right for Forsaken's tender belly. With one quick snap and a shake of his head, he tried to slit open the other's flesh and expose his organs. If anything, he hoped the bite would be painful enough to distract him from Moon Spirit.
Forsaken
The male snarled as Ankhs teeth scored his underbelly but he gripped the white fae all the harder. He dropped her suddenly making the white female cough hard trying to regain her breath but she coughed up blood. She was weak and was little help to this battle. She had just come to retieve her children. The male snarled however and leaped for Ankh hoping to throw the male over and further injure the males shoulder. Forsaken was using brute strength and brawn and little of his head. HE just knew that he had to get Ankh away from him.
Azul
Azul did his best to keep his weight above his son as he didn't strick back VThorns heard his mate yelp and looked losing his balance and falling fom his son.
daughter get out of her, son for your mothers sake please help her you are in better fighting shape than I am. I am sorry for what we did to hurt but know this we love you and always will.
If his son didn't help Azul would be torn between the two and knew he owuld help his love first his son would have to wait he had asked for what was coming.
Ankh
With his lame shoulder, Ankh couldn't use his greatest atribute; speed. But his cunning mind was not at all hampered. Although his smaller frame was bowled over by Forsaken, releasing an agonizing cry as his shoulder was jarred further, the hybrid kept his wits about him. Always, he throat was protected by his tucked head. Always, until he spotted what looked like the opportune moment. Striking fast while he was on the ground and below Forsaken, Ankh sprung his teeth for the other's throat. His hindlimbs shot straight up, hoping to connect with the wolf's stomach and knock the wind out of him.
Kianga*Soleda*Sauda*Liseli*Zev
Kianga threw her weight on Soleda, forcing the other to the ground, tearing open a bleeding wound in the dark fae's side.
Soleda struck bad, catching her sister's maw and grinding it in her teeth, trying to break it.
Sauda kept harrying Demon, trying to distract his attention. Leaping up, she aimed for a spine hold.
Liseli continued her assault, this time coming between Demon and V.estige, reaching up to grasp his maw in her own.
Zev came running in, hearing Azul's desperate calls. He stood over Moon Spirit, ready to fend off any who might try to hurt his alphess.
Abamacho
The male snarled at his father then looked to his mother. Anger flickered in his eyes but the male knew that he couldnt let his mother die. With a snarl of rage at both his father and himself the male leaped hard for Forsaken. "Move!" He snarled at Ankh. The male was new at fighting but if Ankh got out of the way it would make it easier so that the large male would not have to worry about catching the hybrid instead of Forsaken. He could hear Soleda and Kiangas fight and he desperatly wanted to attack Kianga and help his friend but he had to help his mother first.
Kekochoi gazed around her eyes filled with anguish. Did any of these wolves even know why they were fighting or were they all leaping into battle because somebody told them to?
Azul
the male fell back his lack of strength showing.Pulling himself up the alpha moved to Soleda and Kiangas battle his mass coming between them quickly bracing himself for any attack that could come from his move from either in their blind fury.
this is not the place to settle family disputes. If you muc fight do it back in the pack lands there is safer than here
Kianga*Soleda
Kianga almost would have stopped for not wanting to hurt Azul, but Soleda turned evil eyes on the alphen, a curt word given. You are no longer my alpha and thus have even less say in what I do than you had before. Begone! And she gathered speed, leaping over Azul's back to tear at her sister's mug. Kianga leaped back from the fangs so that Soleda could not get a hold, and hinds propelled her toward the dark faery, fangs trained on her fores.
Kekochoi
The black female saw what her father had done. When Soleda said her dark words Kekochoi couldnt take it any more. With an enraged snarl the black female launched herself at Soleda her mismatched eyes blazing in fury. She would listen to her father if Kekochoi has any say in it. She leaped hoping to slam hard into the faes side and send her tumbling.
V.estige
He bit down hard when his fangs caught Demons side, However he cursed himself when Demon pulled away. It would be very hard to fight when losing so much blood from a wound like that but Demon seemed okay...for now. As he attempted to ram V.estige, The wolf growled and jumped out of the way, It would be hard for Demon to stop and turn before V.estige launched his attack. His jaws went again for the back of Demons throat as his back was to V.estige. There wasn't any chance of getting his vitals or the Jugular but he could sever the spinal chord, paralyzing Demon before finishing him off.
Demon
He would remain still for a moment as Saudea, liseli, and V.estige came at him, calculating his next move. He was no fool. He ignored his wound for now for it was not a big threat. An idea formed in his mind and once his attackers were nearly atop of him, hypothetically speaking, he would rush under Sauda and leap abruply to knock her off her feet. If the attacked continued they may get her, afterall he had just used the wolfess as a sheild to divert two of the attack and throw off hers. He continued growling and whirled around to face them, if he had too fight all three against one he knew he'd have to use them against one another otherwise he knew what more serious injurys could occur if he didn't use his fighting skills and thoughts in this battle. He would have checked to see how everyone else was doing, but he couldn't at the moment, afterall he coulden't get distracted from the fight...
Depression
The male leaped away from Skeil and her jaws clicked together dangerously. He snarled and lowered his head making sure to not rush her for the pit was experienced. He growled low and began to circle her trying to find a good spot to hit her that would cripple the fae and make his job easier.
Insanity shut his eyes hard and clenched his teeth down hard on Aidans neck. He would not be letting go for anywhing.
Hidden Betrayal latched herself onto the male and held tight. She to was not about to let go for this was her one chance.
Hydras, Skeil, Ankh, & Mesa
Skeil went with Depression step for step, turning her muscled body to keep in check with him as he circled. Her low-held, thick body was an advantage here, for nearly all of her vitals would be hard for the taller canine to get at. "You ought to run while you still can. You defeat is imminent!"
Hydras whirled away from Sekhmet and Satet, snarling savagely at the two. For a moment her eyes wondered across the devestation, and caught a glimpse of Demon diving downward amongst three attackers. She wanted to run to him, but she couldn't yet. Her attention was back on the faes in a snap. Hydras didn't take long to choose her target. Sekhmet was wounded the worse, and might prove easier to take down that Satet. With her mind made up, Hydras rushed forward again, charging with all her speed and strength while her deadly jaws struck to take Sekhmet by the throat and rip the life from her.
Mesa still lay upon her back, her beak open and one leg stuck up in the air to defend herself. She was quite in shock by now, but very much alive. The blood flow to her limbs had began to decline, leaving her appendages reeling and tingling. But it did good to staunch the blood from her amputated leg, until the life-saving platlets could do their work and patch up the severed bloodways. The bitter cold of winter was also a great help.
Ninaki, Kenyon, Aidan, & Black Feather
Aidan yelped loudly as Insanity's teeth tore through his old wound, beginning to spill the blood that his body hadn't quite replenished yet. The hybrid struck for the side of the wolf's face, trying to tear it to the bone and shed his blood where the viens flowed thick. He kicked his feet frantically as well, trying to pry his captured limb away.
Black Feather continued his assault upon Insanity, but tried a new tactic. The falcon suddenly veered away from the wolf's bloodied face and dove behind him. For a moment he paused, trying to get the enemy to think that he'd gone to harass someone else. Then he jumped forward and sent his razor-sharp beak for the back of Insanity's leg, trying to slice through the major bloodway that ran near the great tendon.
Sauda*Liseli
Sauda was easily caught by Demon's surprising attack, and flopped onto her back. She moved to roll over, but at that exact moment, Liseli's attack landed, cutting a bloody gash across her throat. The alphen hadn't hit her jugular, but she was bleeding profusely anyway. A yelp escaped her and she flopped to her stomach, unable to get up.
Liseli let out a gasp of surprise and disbelief that turned into a howl of fury. She and Sauda had their differences, but they were twins and that was what counted. Growling her anger, she hopped over her darker sib, coming to Sauda's defense as she leapt straight for Demon's throat.
Azul
Azul backed away from the fighting pups sighing he could see that his tactics were useless for them. Instead he pivoted away he help his love. Diving beside his son he looked to him with a side glance would he stand to fight side by side with his father?
Demon
He was glad that little tactic had worked, now to see if V.estige didn't pull back in time from Sauda. But that wasn't what mattered, what mattered was Liseli coming for his throat. Since Demon had seen this coming he whirled around to face the fae. She had come quick though so he had to move away, a deep cut now upon his face when her sharp fangs had caught, starting a few inches under his eye and going away from his maw. He got lucky to escape with that. The crimson liquid stained both wounds he had now but it mattered not to him. No matter, he was doing quite well so far with three opponets. All those years of fights and battles paid off afterall. He immidiatly retaliated snapping at Liseli, yet careful of his surroundings.
Liseli*Sauda
Liseli barely took time to register that her attack had landed, hopping back just in time to escape Demon's assault. Growling anew, she leapt for him yet again, going for face and eyes.
Sauda lay curled into herself, panting, her lone good eye beginning to glaze over. She was hanging on the edge, about to fall off.
Risen
She ran then trotted quietly up behind Sauda. Glare came upon her and she placed her paw upon Sauda's shoulder, preventing the female to role over for an attack. She growled to Liseli before she landed an attack on Demon again, "Hey you!" She snarled. Waiting for the wolf's responce, she lowered her head down. Hot breath warming the air around Sauda's wound. Teeth bared as she opened her jaw, ready to bite and end the suffering of the wolf. " Freeze, or your buddy will be sent to Cerberus." She grinned, applying more force to the paw holding the female down.
V.estige
The alpha skided to a halt just before Sauda and was about to launch an attack at Demon when Liseli did. He stood by Sauda and whispered softly.
Its okay Sauda, Me and Liseli will protect you.
As Risen came up and placed her paw upon Sauda V.estige growled deeply.
Take your paw off of her, Back down you worthless waste of life!
Baring his jaws, The beast threw his jaws up at Risens throat, his neck bent to protect his vitals and he snapped his jaws shut in the hope of grasping Risens neck and pulling her away from Sauda.
Risen
She felt a push of teeth as V.estige tried to get her away from Sauda, She threw her head up to knock his head up as well, then turned turned her jaws apon his own throat. Directly under his jaw lining. Pushing forward to get him up on his hind legs to better reveal his under belly. She growled and hissed as she scratched at every tender under-part of him as she could. " Did you want to be first in line to the mighty Cerberus?" She cackled.
Sauda*Liseli
Liseli had halted her attack, not wanting her sister to die, but as V.estige leapt for Risen she stood protectively over Sauda. Facing off Demon, she growled low in her throat.
Sauda didn't even hear V.estige's attempt at comfort. She was so far gone she couldn't hear anything in the real world anymore. She lifted her head, bracing as the world swam, gazing up at white Liseli. The other's muzzle was stained so crimson with her blood. Deepest emerald eyes met dusty green ones for a spare moment, their inner souls touching for just that second.
The white femme caught and held her sister's eyes for that moment, saddened at what she saw, but she broke the gaze, as she always had. She could never meet her sister's eyes for long. She looked up at Demon, still bristling.
Sauda sighed, little more than a small breath now. A lone tear tracked down her cheek as she lay tiara down again, jaden eyes staring wide as the bright soul faded from them. And then, she was gone...
V.estige
V.estige flicked his paws in the way of Risens jaws when his jaws failed to catch her throat. Unaware that Sauda had passed away, He didn't looked round, nor see the sisters sadness. He was raised onto his hind legs for but a moment, throwing his body weight forward to bring her down to all four with him. He went for the back of her neck, which was probably visable if she had a hold of his paw.
Mac
Mac trotted as fast as he could into the battle fields. he watched from a hiding spot to see where he could help
Demon
He watched as Risen prevented Liseli to attack. This was good, a hostage. Thats when he saw Vestige attack and go for Risen but he had seen her retaliate as well. For now he ignored Liseli's growls. He did however notice Sauda pass away, so the hostage was dead... now the fight would continue. While Liseli's attention was on her sister her darted to ram into her, whether succesful or not her turned and lunged for Vestige's neck since he seemed occupied with trying to get Risen.
Liseli
Liseli dodged, but not quite in time. Demon managed to partially ram her. Letting out a grunt as they met shoulders, she leapt for the back of Demon's neck as he headed for V.estige. She had felt her sister's passing, even though she hhadn't seen it, and knew there was no more she could do for Sauda, so she didn't hesitate. She would make Demon pay for her dark twin's death.
Risen
She felt the hold on the wolf's paw, and bit down as hard as she could. As soon as she felt she had a good hold on it, she made a powerful jump back as strong as she could. Hoping to get the wolf to fall. But as she jumped back she felt his teeth grab at the back of her neck. It burned as he tore some of her skin off, but she didn't give up on that powerful leap. She would make sure she brought him forward and she lept back. The direction was against the other foot, making them cross for a better chance at bringing the brute to his back.
Mac
Mac lept out from hiding. a Growl was released from his small form as he launched himself at Risen. He hoped that his attack would hit her and cause her to leave V.estige alone for a while.
Hydras, Bullet, & Skeil
Forgoing her current assault against Sekhmet and Satet, Hydras sprung past the faes and headed for Demon. She knew the two would probably be on her soon enough, but she might as well help her packmates while she had the chance. The alphess was already torn up rather badly, but she wasn't the Queen of the Shadow Lurkers for nothing. Pounding across the ground with her tri-toned head set low, the wolfmix came right for Liseli. A swift, powerful spring of her legs sent the alpha into the air with calculated aim. She was prepared to slam into the wolf's side and bring her teeth down on the side of her face...
With Aaka and Legosa's pups safely hidden with an ally, and their two hostages exiled from their own friends, Bullet found himself joining in on the fray. His body carried fresh wounds, but none of them were terribly serious. The large hybrid thundered across the loamy soil, his eyes making quick surveys of the battle. He could see a fox, clutched in the jaws of a wolf. Two hybrids lay dying with their throats bloodied. An alpha lay dead already, heaped on the ground. And another wolf, a fae, had passed from this world. The heavy scent of blood swamped Bullet's nose and he felt a tremor run down his spine.
His saddened orbs finally caught sight of Skeil, who was circling with Depression. Moving with stealth and speed, the hybrid made a b-line straight for the offending wolf. Coming up behind Depression, the large wolfmix sprung, trying to bring the front half of his body down over Depression's back and pin him to the ground. Bullet's fangs set themselves for the back of Depression's neck, attempting to get a good hold there....
Depression
The male had leaped as Bullet had sending the male away from Bullets jaws. He was aiming to slam Skeil into the ground, the massive male growling darkly. He needed to get rid of Skeil.
Dance stood atop the hill and stared down silently. She knew her old pack would be coming. It was just a matter of time. She looked for someone to help, anyone. She saw the pug and growled darkly for he did not carry the Lurker scent. The Indian dog charged for the smaller dog hoping to take care of him for the Lurkers. He was a nuisance really, but he wouldnt be a distraction anymore.
Sasha made her way silently to the eskers. She stood where Bullet had and wondered to herself why she had decided to live with a war loving pack. But then she knew. They were her family. Every one of them. She gazed around her looking for an enemy, any enemy. Thats when her eyes landed upon Satet. Bad blood lay between these two. With an angered snarl Sasha raced through the fighting dogs her long limbs carrying her far and fast. She leaped hard and slammed solidly into Satet sending the other fae sprawling. While Satet was down Sasha went for the wolfs exposed stomach hoping to slash the fae.
Satet yelped as a large form sent her sprawling. Before she knew it Sasha was upon her slashing and tearing at her stomach. Satet brought her legs up trying to push the angry doberman away from her.
Forsaken whirled and began his assault upon Abamacho for the wolf was young, much to young. Forsakens long ivories bit into Abamachos face and he relished in the pups cry of pain. He chuckled darkly and tore himself away from the other and faced Abamacho head on. He looked to Azul and said "You cannot help him for this is his fight." His bright yellow eyes stared into Abamachos and he smiled menacingly. Killing Moon Spirits son would be wonderful payback.
Bullet, Skeil, & Ankh
Bullet skidded to a halt once he realized his aim was off. Moving as quickly as he could, he spun back for Depression, swing his muzzle towards the other's flank. He was attempted to rip a large gash in the other's flesh. "You might as well back down now! You and your allies cannot win!"
Skeil didn't dodge her foe's attack, even though she was smaller than him. Rather, she tried to use it to her advantage. As he moved to come down on her, the pit bull slipped quickly forward and thrusted her blunt muzzle upward. She was seeking to take his throat or chest in her powerful jaws. This left her back open to attack, and no doubt she'd be pinned by Depression. But she took those risks.
Finding himself free from attack, Ankh rolled painfully to his side and staggered up. His right front limb hung limply at his side while his left shoulder stung with the puncture wounds from Forsaken's fangs. For a moment the ebony hybrid stood there, taking in the battle. Then he moved as swiftly as he could on three useable legs, mentally cursing the pain as he went. The small hybrid closed in on his quarry and dove down, aiming for the side of Forsaken's stomach.
Vampires Kiss
The pitbull led the pack into the eskers. Taking in the damage Vampires Kiss snarled as she saw Dance going for one of the allies. The pitbull thundered down the hill and leaped trying to tackle the smaller lighter weight indian dog. Both females would go tumbling for Dance would not be expecting this. With her weight on top of Dance Vampires Kiss lunged and clenched down on skin and fur relishing in the cry of pain that she heard from the small dog. Dark growls rose from the females throat as she hissed "Traitor....."
Dance yelped as Vampires Kiss pinned the female to the ground and bit into her shoulder. The indian dog twisted around so that she could take a bite out of the pitbull but her heart wasnt as into this as the other faes. Dance was a peace maker not a fighter. She bit as hard as she could into Vampire Kiss's front leg trying to break it.
Moon Spirit stood slowly as she coughed blood coming from her mouth. She stood next to her mate and she said softly "He wont fight with you. He is more of Aaka's son then ours." She watched her son and knew that he would probably not last through his first battle. Moon Spirit and Azul had not taught him to fight. She had prayed that she wouldnt have to.
Abamacho snarled at the male and leaped aiming for the larger males throat when suddenly he dived down to get a paw trying to get a grip upon Forsaken and crush his bones there.
Forsaken lowered his massive chassis as Abamacho charged and waited until the pup was in the air. He grabbed the smaller wolf by the side of the throat and dug his fangs in crunching down upon the male. He felt Abamacho try and get away from him but he just chuckled. The puppy was going no where. He felt Ankh slash his stomach and it made the male angrier. He bit harder into Abamacho making the small wolf gasp with pain. Maybe fighting wasnt all it was cracked up to be.
V.estige
He closed his jaws tight about the back of her neck. As she pulled him forwards his jaws bit down harder on her neck and he was brought forward, knocking into her and probably tripping her up with him. He began to shake his head violently, hoping to snap her spinal chord and either paralyze her or indeed kill her. Demons jaws missed as Vestige and Risen fell together, Hopefully Liseli would get her grasp and pull him away from himself until he could finish dealing with Risen.
Soleda*Kianga*Zev
Soleda heard Abamacho's keen of pain and left off of her sister, leaping to help her friend. Coming from behind Forsaken, she leapt for the male's back, hoping to barrel into him and send him flying, forcing him to release Abamacho.
Kianga watched after her sister, turning sorrowfully between the young fae and Moon Spirit, debating within herself. Soleda had to pay! But if Moon Spirit didn't get away from here, she might be hurt. After a moment, the little princess let out a howl of frustration and raced back to Moon Spirit, standing next to Zev, completing the circle defending the alphess. Desperately, she called to her dark friend. Keko! To me! Leave off for this day. Abamacho can wait but your mother cannot! Help us!
Zev stood growling before Moon Spirit, watching horrified as Soleda raced into battle. A pain rent his heart, but he sighed and sent a look over to Azul. We must get out of here, my friend. We are in no shape to be fighting. Tell me truth. Do you believe you can stop them from fighting? I do not. Even so I would fight for my Soleda still... but in this condition, I would die. It is a simple fact. And I still have another daughter, and a mate. I must live for them. As must you both. And he turned gentle eyes to Moon Spirit, a sad smile lighting his face. There is naught more we can do here. Let us go. He was pleading with the alphas. He knew that if they were to stay, they would most assuredly never see home again. He felt in his heart the wrenching pain of leaving Soleda to her fate, but felt that he had made the only choice he could. Almost desperate, he waited.
Risen .+. Fallen
Risen flailed on the ground as she fell helplessly with her back to his head. Her own head now between his front paws as he thrashed about her thin but muscled form. Abruptly she tried to get up, but flounder all she wanted, she couldn't rise, Loudly she yelped for help.
Black shadow darted in and shot her teeth right at the male's revealed belly. Jaws aiming for the lower, more tender belly, trying to get his sheath in the bite. She was trying to get him to yelp and let go of her daughter. Never had one seen Fallen as pissed as she was now, Blood color orbs completely in the shape of a splinter. Hackles all rose and growls deep within her throat. She was just as big as Risen, though not as muscular. She was still fast and her teeth sharp, she was hoping speed would make up for bronze.
Demon
Realizing he missed and seeing that Hydras prevented Liseli to reach his throat he snapped harshly at V.estige when he reached him and Risen. He saw Fallen come in to help so for the moment Demon turned and darted for Liseli who Hydras was currently fighting. Hopefully Liseli would be distracted long enough as Demon circled once then rushed in trying to grab her by the throat, or by the back of the neck to temporarily apprehend her so Hydras could go in for a kill. Of course Demon's fur was stained crimson where his wounds were but he would ignore them for now as he had been all along.
Kekochoi
She heard her friends call and her auds perked but she continued to watch her brother. He was going to die. Why werent they helping him? When Soleda jumped into the fray Kekochoi took a step forth to fight beside her brother but then her eyes locked upon her mother. Moon Spirit stood tall and proud even with her throat slashed. She looked like the warrioress that she was, a larger form of Aaka but kinder. She sighed and turned to run to her parents when another form barreled into her.
Demons Revenge and the rest of the pack had come now. As Vampires Kiss began tearing apart Dance Demons Revenge leapt for Kekochoi aiming to kill the black daughter. His fangs latched onto the females side and a crack could be heard as one of her ribs broke. Kekochoi let out a yelp then began to tear at the male viciously the two black forms melting into one as they tore at each other. Only the flash of ivoires could be seen as the two fought.
Kianga
Kianga let out a yelp, seeing Keko attacked. Turning her eyes between her parents and Keko, she let out a cry and leapt forward, aiming to tear out Revenge's throat.
Demons Revenge
He was pressed close to Kekochoi and if Kianga did attack his throat she had a fair chance of hitting her friend instead of him for their bodies melted well into one another. He snarled and crunched his ivories upon Keko his pitbull jaws not letting go of the fae for anything.
Sasha
Satet finally managed to throw the doberman off of her and stood her stomach bleeding and torn. Sashas face had a jagged line across it blood seeping from it slowly but the doberman didnt mind. Both crouched low and as one they leaped for one another. Sasha fangs dug sharply into Satets neck and Satets own fangs sunk into Sashas shoulder both females refusing to let go.
Azul
anger rose in the throat of azul as he caught his daugters yelp. AS his son fought he had to make a choice his daughter or his son. Looking at their daughter she seemed to have things under control. he had enough his chassis come forth a loud back issued to the duo hs head down and his voids glowing.
You want my children you have to go through my first. You to scarred to fight someone your age or you like puppies who can't defend themselves.
Azul had just asked for a world of trouble if the two hunters attack him but he didn't care to looked to Zev as soon as the duo attack he hoped his friend would get everyone out.
Kianga*Zev
Kianga skidded to a halt, realizing just in time what might happen to Keko if she continued. She whined, looking between her father, Azul, and Keko, not sure what to do.
Zev caught Azul's glance, and felt his heart fall. He was actually about to disobey, to refuse to retreat, because he was afraid for his children.
But then he saw the look in Azul's eyes. He saw the determination, the haunted shadows, and the terrible knowledge there. Azul wasn't kidding himself. The alphen knew that he might not survive this, and knew that even if he did, Abamacho would not return to him. And yet... and yet... he would risk it all anyway.
Azul had been a dear friend to Zev, and almost like a brother. And it was because of that friendship, and because of that love he had for Azul, that he nodded quietly. He would take care of Moon Spirit and all the rest. He bowed his head for a moment, eyes saying, Be careful... come back to us...
V.estige
He grinned inwardly to himself as his jaws close about Risen. Pinning her down he bit down harder and harder, shaking his head, hoping his wolvern jaws would cause a much damage as possible and possibly break Risens neck.
Then he was attacked by Fallen. The mother grabbed his underbelly and bit down hard but her intentions had the opposite effect, instead of yelping and letting go, the pain drove V.estige to bite down harder in his own hurt. He tried to get the mother off by scratching wildly at her face with his hind paws.
Risen .+. Fallen
Fallen spotted the claws comming at her, but not soon enough did she move, when one of his claws scrapped across her eye. She roared in pain, then saw him slightly sit up as he tried to shake his head. while he was slightly up and shaking her daughter, she bite down as hard as she could around his face, trying to get him off of her daughter once again.
Risen roared as she felt herself tipped upward and her neck thrashes about. Her neck was tense as he flung his head tearing at her skin, but her muscles made sure not to let her neck relax and be thrashed about. As the two set up, she was able to get a grip on the ground and pushed up once again when her front feet hit the ground. Hind legs scrambling to get good friction as she pushed with all of her might. to get him up and off of her. She was no longer trying to bite, she just wanted him off for a second try.
Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, & Ankh
Ankh was pleased with his attack, but realized that he'd be Forsaken's next target. He was about to go for a killing move when he heard his aunt call out.
Hydras switched tactics again. Giving a sharp, ordered bark, she charged for V.estige. "This ends now!" The alphess snarled out, charging for the brute with her banner flung high in the air. "If you value your mate and pups, you'd best leave now and call off your allies! You are defeated." She went on, halting near the alpha to give her demanding statement. Yersinia and Kenyon were down already, and Hydras didn't want to loose anymore. As she stood there, fur bristled and blood dripping slowly from her pelt, Hydras awaited his answer. She would much rather have him slaughtered right here and now. But that would still leave all the others allianced to him fighting, and that only meant more potential for loosing her own allies. Her hopes were to end the battle as quickly as possible, even if it left some enemies alive. It by no means declared the end of the fued; but at least for a while, it would mean recuperation for both sides.
Ankh turned painfully about and staggared towards Hydras. Standing unevenly, the ebony hybrid glared at V.estige with cold eyes. He was ready to tear into the brute at Hydras's command; and that would happen if V.estige didn't comply.
Demon
Well Demon turned away from Liseli for now and circled around behind V.estige as Hydra's spoke. His fur was stained with blood from his own wounds, as well as the enemies blood. His amber eyes were locked fiercly on V.estige as he growled lowly. Yes he knew why Hydras had switched tactics and he saw it as a good idea. However if V.estige were to continue on instead of doing as Hydras instructed Demon would be sure to rush right back into battle. He stopped his growls for now... watching... waiting... He sat down upon his haunches as he awaited the answer. Even if his eyes were turned away from many things and were on what was before him, he was still fully aware of his surroundings. He wasn't one to be taken by surprise.
Risen .+. Fallen
Fallen saw hydras and the rest come up. Slowly she backed down, though staying ready to continue his attack continued as well.
Risen let off a painful snarl as she continued to push up to try to get away. Her neck her so much as blood was streaming down and around her throat and chest. She was getting weak and dizzy but still refused to give up.
Liseli
Liseli backed off, still streaming from several wounds. She backed up to stand by V.estige. Blood lust raced in her veins, but she wasn't stupid. Her eyes looked to V.estige, awaiting orders.
Ninaki, Aidan, & Black Feather
Ninaki responded to Hydras and turned quickly from his own enemy. Sprinting fast across the blood-soaked earth, the tawny-brown hybrid took his place near Demon while his cold eyes glared to V.estige.
With a great effort, Aidan bucked forward and twisted his body. Though his limb was seized with pain that forced an agonizying cry from his lung, the hybrid managed to break free of his tormentor's grasp. Now he raced across the ground after his father, and skidded to a halt near him. Panting heavily and stinging with pain, the former Lurker looked upon V.estige with an indifferent gaze.
Black Feather took his charge wheeling about his gathered pack, making sure no enemies tried a sneek attack on them.
Insanity
He growled as the male tore away from him but thats when it hit him. Where was Psychopath? The male glanced around frantically and whimpered to himself softly. Without his sister the male was lost. He looked for his nearest pack member and saw Depression and Cutter. The two wolves stood glaring at the Shadow Lurkers pack but neither moved away from the other.
Forsaken bit harder upon the male his teeth crunching into bone loud enough for all to hear as Abamachos shoulder shattered.
Abamacho yelped in pain and anger and screamed as he bit hard upon the males face gouging Forsaken in the eye. The male would be blind in that one eye forever now.
V.estige, Domnio, Sxythe, Vandras, Xina, Chaos, Suki, Kuro, Vitani, Satan and Zira
The Midnight Hunters once again entered the battlefield and reinforced the fact that the war was to stop. Domnio flanked Hydras and the others took their various places around the circle that now encased Liseli and V.estige.
Suki, Kuro, Vitani, Satan and Zira also joined the circle, each with their own set of injuries. They waited to see what the cornered Alpha would say.
V.estige's muzzle was grasped by Fallens jaws, but no sooner had she maintained her bite, Hydras had spoken. Releasing Risen from his jaws, V.estige stood tall, Blood coating his beaten body.
Defeated is not the word I would use. We are equal. This war ends now. We all go our seperate ways and never should a battle like this start again. We have both lost fellow comrades, let us not loose anymore.
A nod of his head was given and he snarled as he pushed past Demon and the others that had formed a circle around him.
Come Liseli and Sweetbrier, We must go home.
He waited for his packmates to come to him before turning and leaving the field to deliver the grave news of Sauda's passing.
Cutter
Cutter watched them from his place next to Depression and he growled softly. "Move" He snarled as he trotted towards Forsaken and passed Insanity. He watched the male for a moment his dark eyes narrowed. He was the gamma male of his pack but Forsaken had promised them riches. They had lost now. Fury driving him the male leaped hard and slammed into Forsaken making the massive black male jerk himself and Abamacho to the ground.
Forsaken hit with a loud thump and he snarled, releasing the son of Moon Spirit and Azul. He turned fiery yellow eyes to Cutter and was surprised to see the male fighting back. Cutter was the silent one of the pack, who rarely spoke unless spoken to but to see the male fighting against him was something new. "What are you doing? This isnt part of the plan!" He growled and went for Abamacho once more.
"Neither was this." Cutters voice was soft as he leaped and slammed into Forsaken once more. Cutter stalked to the large black wolf his ivories bared long canines catching the setting sun. "You promised something you could not give. Now you must pay." With the male already down Cutter went for the males unprotected throat. The unsuspecting Forsaken was caught in Cutters grasp and he let out a choked breath as he looked around him for someone to help.
Insanity whimpered next to Depression as he watched Cutter attack and kill Forsaken. He was unsure of how Diseased would take this news but he prayed he wouldnt take his anger out on him. That was all he needed. More trouble. Depression watched his brother with silent intensity for a moment then moved away trotting towards the circle. He was not the beta male but since Psychopath who was the beta female was not here and his brother was other wise occupied Depression had to step in. The male moved to the circle his head down tail held loose but not held beneathe him in the way of submitting. He made no word but waited for Hydras to speak first.
Abamacho lay where he was scarcely breathing for every breath he took wracked pain through the male. His shoulder was broken and would need mending his throat was torn but not as bad as Moon Spirits.
Dance and Vampires Kiss heard nothing of the break up of war. A loud scream of pain escaped Dances maw as Vampires Kiss's teeth clenched upon her front paw and shattered all of the bones there. Dances teeth savaged the females face as she prayed that one of the pack members would stop this. She had come here to help....
Sasha and Sekhmet/Satet continued with their battle as well. Both females fangs flashed angrily as they circled one another and Sasha desperatly wished to join her pack but she couldnt turn her back upon this psychotic female.
Soleda*Liseli
Soleda stood carefully over Abamacho, guarding him. She hated to do it, but there was only one place to take her ailing friend. Grounding up her courage, she grabbed the dark male by his scruff and began to drag him to the woodland farm.
Liseli sighed and nodded, grabbing her sister by the scruff to drag her body away from the war. There was no life left, but she found a pretty corner of the land to leave her, closing those staring jaden eyes. And then, with a last nuzzle, she turned away, refusing to look back. That part of her life was over.
Fallen .+. Risen
Fallen held her breath until V.estige let her daughter go. When Risen was released, she landed then fell to the ground. Her breaths were hard as the back of her neck oozed blood. Fallen walked up, her head and tail resumed thier submissive positions, and whimpered to her daughter. Crimson pools stared up to Hydras with thanks for making him let go of Risen.
Risen huffed and gave short growls, glaring at V.estige. She couldn't stand, all she could do was lay and gruff. Staring back at Hydras for her own thanks, but soon lowered her eyes sight. Lower than she ever had, she had failed, and that was going to be something she would not be able to let go.
Eternal
Eternal watched as they all gathered and silently the black wolfess began to slink away taking her chance while she could. Hydras's surprise attack had worked but she would get the alphess back. Eternal stood atop a hill and howled for her sister Immortal but little did she know Immortal was being held captive by the Shadow Lurkers. Eternal began to trot away once more angrily searching for her pathetic white sister
Azul
the brute came beside the huntress that was dragging his son. She couldn't do it alone. Without waiting to hear anything from the duo he picked up hhis son and gently placed him upon his back.
Stay still i will get you to safty son.
Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, & Ankh
Hydras watched V.estige and the others leave, and for a moment, she was swept up in silent joy and pride. "Fool, he thinks we are equals" She laughed to her pack, "Once our enemy, forever our enemy." The alphess took a moment to look over the gathered canines, and it was apparent that two were certainly missing.
Aidan spotted Kenyon first and sprinted to his side. "Kenyon....?" Whimpering slightly, he nudged his brother while crouching over him, "Kenyon, you can't leave us..."
Skeil padded quietly towards Aidan and Kenyon, licking the fallen brother's face, "Kenyon, can you hear us?"
Bullet made it to Yersinia, but it was already too late for his neice. Feeling his eyes sting and well with moisture, the large brute turned his head slowly back to the approaching Hydras and dipped his muzzle downward. His tail was as low as his crumpled spirits.
Hydras kept her dial high, fighting her emotions to look calm on the outside. A slow, heavy sigh was issued from her battered maw as she turned from her neice's still form to the gathering by Kenyon. Without a word, she drifted towards Skeil and the others to see how the brother was fairing. Mo< Bullet was about to follow when he noticed a third figure laying prone on the scuffled ground. It was Mesa. She was not dead by any means, but one of her legs were no more than a bloodied stump. Thankfully for the cold and her initial shock, the blood had been staunched quite well, and was no longer bleeding. Moving swiftly to her side, Bullet carefully plucked up the falcon and carried her over to Hydras and the others.
Meanwhile, aftering seeing the damage done, Ankh had slipped quietly away.
Sasha
A shriek of pain suddenly filled the air as Sashas canines bit into the opposing faes shoulder. Angered snarls erupted from her chest and she used her height to help her. Suddenly Sekhmet leaped into the fray, "LET GO OF HER!" She cried as she rammed hard into Sasha. Sashas teeth were knocked off of her victim as she was sent sprawling.
Dance and Vampires Kiss would not let go of one another as well. The small indian dog knew she had no chance against her once friend and she looked to and fro for help. "Stop! Vampire its over stop please!" she was on the verge of sobbing she wanted to get away so bad. She really didnt want to kill her once friend.
Vampire was seeing it different however. This dog was a traitor and deserved to die.
Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, & Ankh
Bullet looked back suddenly, slowly setting Mesa down, who was still quite out of it. Spotting Sasha, the hybrid plunged past his family and headed straight towards her, not slowing till he was standing by her side. "Leave, NOW!" He roared out, glaring savagely towards Sekhmet, ready to pounce on her in an instant. Then he glanced Dance's way and felt the fur along his back bristle high. He was torn again, for the little fae had first attacked him and his family. But then, as usual, his 'better' side prevailed and he offered Vampire a similar grim set of orders, "You, back off! You've lost already, you might as well leave with your life today." Bullet was tired of fighting for now, after finding his neice dead and his nephew slipping away as well.
Zev
The male began to back slowly into his daughter, who moved to support Moon Spirit as they headed back home. His voice was soft as he spoke to the alphess. Come. There is nothing more we can do here. You require rest, my friend. Azul will see to your son. Let us go. He did not like his orders, but he followed them anyway.
Satan, Vitani, Zira, Kuro, Suki and The Midnight Hunters
The group watched as the ememies left.
Satan, Vitani, Suki and Kuro all wished to follow and tear their enemies apart limb from limb but knew that this fight had to end sooner of later.
Zira just stood in the background, watching the ongoing scene with no interest at all. She didn't belong here...She slowly shuffled away and disappeared on the horizon.
Domnio watched V.estige leave and smirked. What a fool, they weren't equals they were scum to be eliminated. He gathered his pack and trotted over to Hydras.
Hydras, My word is still strong, We are Allies to the end. If yo ever need us we are only a howl away.
With a nod of his head to the Alphess, Demon and Skeil, The wolf turned and he and his pack left the eskers to rest and recover.
Dance
Dance could hear Bullets roar and she wished to thank him for his kindness but as she tried to pull away from Vampires Kiss but the Pitbulls fangs sank deeper into her shoulder making the dog scream in pain. "Vamp, Vamp its over you lost! You gotta let go of me now!" She cried out in her pain. She suddenly lurched forward hoping to over balance the pit but to no avail.
Vampires Dance suddenly released as a howl from the west could be heard. Diseased. With a snal the pit bull released her hold and glared at Bullet "When I catch that pretty little girl friend of yours alone shes mine." She turned and raced away as if nothing had happened racing to find Diseased and pack.
Dance stood her body shuddering her eyes beginning to glaze over as her shoulder gushed blood. "She....She tried to kill me. I thought....I thought she loved me." A sob broke of the indian dogs throat. Vampires Kiss and Dance had grown up together and Dance had thought that they were like sisters. This was a hard blow to the indian dog for now she had no reason to live.
Sekhmet and Satet released the angry doberman both looking at one another then to Bullet. "Aaka will pay." The two left silently each with long strides and heads held high. They would not let this battle get them down.
Sasha stood for a moment staring after them then turned to Dance. "Hydras...." Sasha looked to her alphess wondering what the fae would do with Dance. The indian dog was weak and didnt pose much of a threat to them. Maybe....No. It was Hydras's dicision.
Demon
Finnaly it was over and he was glad. At first the same sense of pride and happiness for the seemingly victory were upon him. But thats when he had realized the lost and downcast his eyes to the ground. He kept his calm demenor but it was obvious that the loss had swept a feeling of sadness and loss upon him. First he padded towards where Yersina's lifeless body was, a sigh released, before going over to where the others were surrounding Kenyon. He stopped and sat silently watching Kenyon wondering his exact condition. He could only hope that it wasn't too late for Kenyon. Demon however knew the casualtys of wars, both sides usually suffered so this was to be expected, however the deaths and injurys were not to be disregarded, he knew sadness insued many of them if not all.
Depression
Despression watched them for a moment then he barked Cutter. His brother released Forsaken and trotted over standing next to his black brother staring at the Shadow Lurkers through ice blue eyes. He moved closer Insanity practically glued to his side for the white wolf had been the one to wound Kenyon. Or had he been with Yersinia? War images flooded through the males mind making the schitzophrenic wolf confused. Where was he? Who were these dogs? Were they in his pack? Did they know him? Where was Psychopath? Had his sister abandoned him? Would he live without her? He whimpered softly and said "Depression...I dont like this...." The white wolf had a point. If the Lurkers found out it had been him to kill Yersinia they would be after him.
Cutter watched the Shadow Lurkers with silent intensity his eyes never wavering. They would see each other again this he knew.
Hidden
Hidden stood so still so silent as tears formed in her eyes. She leaped at Skeil but her mouth wasnt open. She rammed as hard as she could into the fae then crumpled sobbing. She curled into a small ball No...No...no no no.... She looked to Skeil with tormented eyes and she said in a choked voice You killed him...You killed him and he hadnt done ANYTHING to you The wolfess was speaking of Yukon her now deceased brother. Anguish filled Hiddens tiny body for she was less then a year old and had relied upon Yukon. Now she had nothing left. But she would remember him for fighting for what was right, for standing up for the weak and small. But it was unlikely that he would be remembered long for Hidden could not care for herself and with the death of her brother was lost.
Ninaki, Kenyon, & Black Feather
Kenyon looked with wide eyes upon those that surrounded him. Blood seeped in a thick pool from his mouth and nose, for his attacker's fangs had pierced not only his vital veins, but his windpipe as well. The large hybrid moved his dial faintly and parted his crimson-stained jaws as if to say something, but no words came out. Then his head shifted and sagged to the side, his eyes closing to the world; forever.
Ninaki shuddered violently, as if he had been shot by a human's bullet. "Why...? No... Not another!" The father cried in pure, utter anguish. His mate and two of his childeren were dead now. Slowly, the canine's tawny-brown head swung around towards Hidden as he offered a deadly show of fangs. All he could see in through his eyes was the form of an enemy, though he didn't know just how true that was. She too was a killer of his pack.
Black Feather had come out rather well from the battle, having scored some hits and recieved possibly the least battle wounds. He landed lightly on the ground, dipping his head sadly for Kenyon's passing.
Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, & Mesa
Bullet snarled lightly, "Count on my fangs to deliver you to the next world." His attention faded from Sekhmet and the others and turned now to Dance. He stood uncertainly near her, then looked to Sasha. "Are you alright?" With the battle now over, for now at least, his focus returned to his dear mate.
Skeil turned sharply, a deadly snarl brewing in her throat. "You double-talker! You killed Jet! He was innocent!" There was no ounce of mercy in the usual kind pit's eyes as she glared coldly upon Hidden. She flung herself at the curled form, with one intention alone. To kill. Her jaws went straight for the neck, wanting to squeeze the life out of the other.
She paused a moment to nod to Domnio and the others, "Your help was greatly appriciated. You can be assured our word holds true as well." Then Hydras narrowed her eyes, holding back her grief-stricken emotions as she watched her nephew's passing. She was doubly startled by Skeil's words, for now it meant that three had been killed on their side. "Kill her." Hydras ordered in a hissing tone, speaking of Hidden. Before she could join in the assault, Sasha had gotten her attention. Snarling anew, the alphess sauntered towards Dance with her head dipping low in a killer fasion.
Bullet hurriedly stepped in front of Dance, holding his tail and head low in the sign of submission, "Please, Hydras. She is no threat to us. Her pack wants her dead; she can only be of help to ours now." Seeing that his sister didn't plan on letting Dance live, Bullet dropped his head further, "Hasn't enough blood be shed? She didn't kill Yersinia or Kenyon."
Hydras stopped in her tracks, then growled fiercely, "Her friends did, and that's all that matters." Once again, the alphess moved forward.
Bullet wavered but stood his ground still, "Please, enough killing! She... she..." The hybrid thought frantically of a way to get to his sister and change her mind. As he did, he wondered why he was trying so hard to save the little dog's life? She had attacked him, after all. But... he didn't have the heart to see any more suffering. No more torment. He had to save her, if he could. "She will be a bane to her pack, right? Living with us, right?"
That made Hydras stop a second time, her banner flicking angrily to the side. Now it was her turn to waver. She could certainly go for some more bloodshed. She wanted to kill more, to avenge the death of her family. But Bullet was right, she'd get no where by killing Dance. "Let it be your responsibility to keep her in line. Remember Rage? I don't want to see that happen again." Turning abruptly, she stalked away from the three, heading back towards Demon on the others. Standing next to him, her tired eyes turned upon Skeil and Hidden.
Bullet sighed heavily and stepped away from Dance. He too felt exhuasted; not just physically, but emotionally too. His greatest concern was for Sasha though, as always. And now he felt a great burden with Sekhmet's words. And not only that, but what Hydras had last said really unsettled Bullet. Could Dance be trusted?
Fallen .+. Risen
Fallen turned to Kenyon, bowing her head as he passed away. Then watched as Hydras made her way to Dance. Fallen would have been the one to step in the way if Bullet hadn't already done so. She stood her ground and watched, then watched the fellow wolves go after Hidden. Hidden looked familiar, but she had to second guess herself. She shook her head, it couldn't have been the pup she attacked so long ago.
....---..---....
Gold coins shifted side to side as she came too. The pain in her neck now throbing as her crimson life was trying to harden and create a cast. Her nose crinkled up in a snarl as nimble hind limbs went under her. With a tremble like movement, she let her front legs ease under her and pick up her pained body. In time she was standing, crimson neck still driping slightly but the previous flow was gone and she was promised life... so far. If she didn't stay calm she could end up hurting herself worse. From the back of her head to her withers, her neck looked like she was wearing the blood. Maybe bathed in it. It hurt, she wouldn't deny that point, but she didn't let it ruin her.
Goldens shifted to Hidden, her nose was flooded with the scent of blood, she couldn't smell if the fea was her rival or not. Letting out a gurgling growl she stalked toward the curled mass. The more she growled, the more she gurgled, she began to pause with every breath as her blood began to boil. A small drip-drip-drip began to run off her chest as she continued to the pup.
Fallen spotted Risen limping her way to Hidden. She gave off a slight whine and cantered to her daughter, Standing infront. Risen glared down to her mother, she would not have this treatment. Risens trap opened, a slight coat of blood on her tongue. She wasn't sure who's blood it was, she didn't care. A loud snarl cause Fallen to back down and let Risen pass, continueing her limp to the wolf she could only think was her rival. But was she?
Satan, Vitani, Suki and Kuro
At Hydras' command of "Kill her" Satan and Vitani did as instructed. Doing their best to avoid Skeil, Satan went to grab the dog by the back of her neck, hoping to snap the spinal chord and avenge the passing of Yersinia and Kenyon, and any others of their side that had passed in the war. Vitani went for either the side of the dog, or her legs, to break one would limit the dogs movement and would make her easier to finish off.
Seeing as Skeil, Satan and Vitani were all busy disposing of Hidden, Suki and Kuro mourned the passing of Kenyon and Yersinia. Suki moved over to Ninaki. She gently nuzzled him and spoke softly.
It'll be okay, You've got us. Just think, they're in no more pain now...
Kuro just watched Kenyon slip away. Anger began to boil inside him. If he ever saw any of those wolves and dogs again, he would make sure they all suffered, even if it ment his life to take them down with him.
Depression*Cutter*Insanity*Psychopath
"NO!" Insanity leaped in front of Hidden and snarled at all of them. With a growl Depression and Cutter leaped as well both standing around Hidden. They honestly didnt care about the black dog but they knew that this pack would kill Insanity to get to Hidden. Stupid Mutt your gonna get us all killed! Growled Depression darkly but he stood his ground glaring at Satan. Cutter faced Skeil and he said darkly "Im the one who killed your precious Kenyon. All she did was kill a falcon. Let the wolf go." The dark wolf glared hatefully at the rest of the pack and Insanity now realized what he had done. He had killed Yersinia. Oh...Oh dear.
Insanity! A sharp bark came from atop a hill where Psychopath stood. She watched them all circle around the small pup and she growled darkly. Her brother sure knew how to pick his friends. She limped down to the small gathering her body shaking with the effort. She needed rest but she needed to deal with her brother first.
Risen .+. Fallen
- Risen =
=To you=
Risen's movements had ceased as the rest rushed past her. She stared to them, each with an individual stare. If it was truely Hidden Betrayal, she was the one who wanted to take the wolf down. Staring at the rest of the pack, she turned, not saying a word. Pain gripping around her whole body as she seemed to secretly stow out of the lands. Not even her own mother noticed her absence as Risen left. Risen wasn't going home, where she was going, she didn't know, didn't care. She just walked, and was out of the land.
= To me =
I glared deeply at Hidden, one last time before she was out of sight, the wolves standing around her. Hah, they looked pathetic. A true pack though, I had to give them that.
Again I turned and began walking, my mind began to do a flury of its own thoughts. I didn't feel one with this pack anymore. To others, they acted like family, but to me... they were just... there. I don't understand why. Why can I not let myself feel as one with them. I growled to myself. Rage filling for both my confusion and my pain. I was starting to wonder, do I even need a pack? This is the most known pack, but I don't feel like i'm needed... Push these thoughts aside, I must relax, just... maybe, some rest.... Aw, the boarder. Once I past, I can clear my mind..... Hopefully......
= Fallen -
-body-
She stood still, keeping her gaze of hidden, then shifted to Hydras. She wondered what her reaction to the other would be. While her attention was drawn, she missed her daughter's escape. When she turned back, there was one less wolf. She lifted her head, more in confusion than to see. " Uh..." She whispered softly to herself. Her head resumed its hieght and began to look around. Her legs gave out from under her and she laid down. Trying to think, but she was too lost not to even know where to start with her thoughts...
-Mind-
er... I don't... gah.. where the hell is Risen. I can't always keep track of her. But... How confusing. I lifted my head again. Hearing the confession on who killed Kenyon gained my attention. I let my stare stayed fixed on Cutter, Letting a light growl begin. And if the wolf had only killed a falcon. Who killed Yersinia? Too confusion, it hurt my head...
Insanity
Softly the wolf whispered "Should we tell them that I-"
"Shut up Insanity" Cutters words were sharp as he stared darkly into Satans eyes. He wasnt going to back down.
Hidden Betrayal saw what was going on and she moved to the pack and growled darkly at them all "Back off her. She didnt do anything to Yersinia or Kenyon." Faintly the scent of Aaka clung to Hidden Betrayal for the wolfess had lived with Aaka at one point. Growling arkly she stood next to Insanity.
Fallen
Fallen looked up to Hidden betrayal. Risen had left to soon, her rival had come to them. Though now Fallen was begining to wonder, whispering to herself.... " Do you even remember Risen?" did Hidden even remembered her. The one who had pounced on her head when she was litte..... opps.... She didn't say anything besides her whisper. Which she doubted betrayal could have heard.
Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, & Mesa
Hydras was in a rage now, but not out of control. "Stay your words!" As much as her body ached and rippled with pain, she flung herself at Cutter with a savage snarl. She wanted to kill him right here, right now, but she was happy to tear at him whereever her fangs might hit.
Bullet heard what was said, and it confirmed what he thought Skeil had said earlier about Jet. Not it was his turn to become infuriated. "Just a falcon? You'll suffer!" Going past his subdued attitude, the large hybrid did just like his sister. He flung himself right for Hidden, ready to shake the life out of her and cause her what pain he could. He did not care if Insanity or the others attacked him; he wanted revenge.
Skeil joined the fray instantly, choosing Insanity as her victim. Like the others, she went for what ever hold she could, though the throat was her target.
Hydras was bound determined to kill Cutter and Hidden, and wouldn't stop until they were dead or they fled from her.
Hidden Betrayal
Hidden Betrayal snarled at Fallen for she did remember. She remembered everything about Fallen and Risen. The wolfess leaped at Hydras hoping to slam into her and get her away from Hidden. "Hidden run! NOW!" The black wolfess knew she could not hold off Hydras or the others but she would flee as well. As soon as the other wolfess took off running Hidden Betrayal followed her, her long legs carrying her past the other. She was not a coward for this had not been her fight. She had asked for death and it had not come to her so this must be a sign. A sign tht Tupit was still with her and guiding her in his death. The small wolfess ran for the Orca Bay to pay her debts to a grave site.
Hidden fled north, unsure of where she was going but knowing that she must run.
Cutter snarled and would have met Hydras's jaws if Hidden Betrayal hadnt slammed into her which would have distracted her and given him a chance. He wished to leap for her throat but a sharp howl brought him up short. Diseased. With a snarl he roared "Lets go!" Depression and Cutter departed quickly for neither wolf was majorly injured.
Insanity yelped and dodged SKeils fangs trying to dance around her and keep out of her way. Hearing the call he turned to run but Psychopath....With a a growl/yelp the wolf stayed as his sister limped away as fast as she could. Psychopath had done no real damage to anyone from their pack and was not a major target in any of this. Suddenly the black wolf said "Insanity run!" With a half cry the white wolf did just that. He turned and fled towards his black sister and both raced away. Well, at least made an attempt to.
Ninaki & Black Feather
Ninaki had gone for Cutter as well, but hadn't reacted quick enough to catch the wolf before he and the others fled. Too winded and hurting to follow up, Ninaki felt as though his paws were full of lead. Circling slowly back, he looked morosely to the pack, not caring that Insanity or Psychopath got away this time; there would always be tomorrow.
Black Feather took to the skies now, winging about above his pack's heads. "Risen!" He called sharply, just spotting her form vanish over an esker. "Risen had wondered off!" The falcon landed in front of Hydras now, uncertain of what to do.
Ninaki & Black Feather
Ninaki turns suddenly and took off, running in a determined path straight for the Ranch's Barn. There, he heard the frantic howl of his son.
Black Feather flew high, giving one last look in Risen's direction before winging off towards the Ranch. He would help to look for her later on.
Satan, Vitani, Suki and Kuro
After hearing the howl from Aidan and Ninaki disappearing over the horizon, the foursome headed after the Beta towards the ranch barn.
Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, & Mesa
Hydras felt dead-tired and racked with pain, but the last thing she'd do was ignore a call for help from one in her pack; or, at least an ally. With a gruff bark, the alphess headed for the Barn.
Skeil carefully picked up Mesa and headed for the Aegis Den.
Bullet hesitated, then nodded to Sasha, "We'd best go." With a half-hearted smile, for his spirit was weighted with the recent deaths, the big hybrid followed after his sister.
