Ayla
The Noric-mix with a coat that was pale, misty gray, galloped into the land. Tufts of black hair lined the ends of her legs, giving her some diffinition, espcially in the bright rays of the sun. She rose to the top of a high esker and neighed loudly, hoping to draw attention to herself. She belonged to a herd already, but she had not seen her lead stallion for a while, and now she was lonely.
Mirage
The she-cat heard the horses neigh and bounded over to it. She was young and she had alot of energy that she needed to spend. She crouched low whn the equine came in sight and stalked it quietly. When she was ten feet away she leaped out from behind a rock and hoped to give the horse a scare so that it would run. If it ran she would chase it if not she would chase it. Her snow leopard instincts told her to hunt it but she just wanted to have fun.
Ayla
Ayla neighed loudly, kicking out with her hind legs instinctively. Pulling her ears back, she galloped several yards before turning around and staring wide-eyed at the large feline. She shivered a bit, trying to control the fear that threatened to drive her into a blind run. But the noric-mix was able to control herself, and stood staring back at Mirage, unable to speak. She had never seen such a creature! Only house cats!
Mirage
She dodged the enquines hooves nimbly and chased it when it bolted. She grinned at the scared horse and let out a purr of amusment. Scared, little horsie? she purred. It was fun tormenting other animals. She bared her large fangs and stalked closer to the horse before laughing. She turned around and called over her shoulder don't worry horsie big mean snow leopards going away now. She bounded away and leapt into a tree to watch the horse.
Ayla
She snorted, pulling back her ears and bearing her fangs in both fear and agression, "You'll be sorry if you come near me!" she warned, tossing her head indignantly. Her eyes, still wide in fear, watched Mirage as she took her place in the tree. "I'm afraid of no cat." Ayla responded after a moment, though it was a lie.
Mirage
Is ickle horsie afraid? Don't lie to me horse I know your afraid it is in your eyes. Don't worry you little tail though, I'm not going to hurt you. She smirked at the horse before leaping from limb to limb. Goodbye horsie she called over her shoulder as she climbed away.
Ayla
She snorted, stamping a hoof into the ground, "You couldn't hurt me if you wanted!" she neighed back angrily, her confidence going up as Mirage left. Cursing lightly under her breath, the mare turned and galloped away. Her head was turned slightly back now and then, just making sure that Mirage didn't try anything before leaving.
