Tala, Demien and Siouxsie

Carefully the large black fae stalked forwards, every now and then she'd turn her half blind head towards where her pups followed at her heels. She wondered where her other three pups where, probably with the rest of the pack. She'd find them later, for now she was concentrating on picking up the scent of some small animal, anything that would be suitable for her young pups to attempt to kill.

Behind her mother Siouxsie's ears pricked forwards, she nor her brother knowing why they were here, their mother only telling them to follow her, and to be silent. Turning her excited head round to her brother she started to say something, then looking at her brother she paused and continued to watch her mother sniff at the ground.

Bringing up the rear Demien slowly walked forth. Like his sister he didn't know what his mother had laying in wait for them, but watching her move he could tell she was searching for something. But what could possibly be hiding amongst the eskers? Knowing that he would soon find out he stared down at his pale tan paws waiting for his mother to find what she was questing for.

Emikeiali

it's all just BLACK and WHITE
A slight breeze brings the scent of prey to my sensitive nose, lifting my hopes of finding something to eat. I had been searching for some place to live, being new to the land, but had had no luck. For now, home-hunting had to be tossed aside. I had a more pressing problem; hunger. After some hours of wandering I had finally picked up a trace of a scent. Putting my black nose to the ground I attempt to follow the lovely smell of a rabbit. My white and grey coat did a fair job of camouflaging me among the grey of the rocks surrounding me. The only really noticeable details about me were my black eartips, paws, and tail-tip. The trail I followed lead me toward a large boulder pile. As I leapt up onto the first large stone I hear something. Silently I creep around the boulders, hoping that the churning of gravel I heard was caused by the feet of my prey. Finally only one gigantic stone seperated me from the source of the noise. Slinking around the side of it I realize the sound is coming closer. Crouching low I prepare to pounce the moment my prey came into sight. Three...two...one...springing forward I land but two feet from the black wolf. Surprise and shock flood me at the sight of my 'prey' and the two young pups, my heart sinking horribly. Now I was in for it.
