Catalpa

The old she-wolf limped in, not putting any pressure on her hind limb which swung awkwardly from side to side with the motion of her walk. The femur had broken after she was tackled by a cougar, but she was lucky at least that the cougar was distracted by his friend, which allowed her to escape unoticed. Or at least she hoped he wasn't going to trail her.

Now the wounded fae settled herself down at the bottom of an esker, wincing at the throbbing pain in her hind leg. She licked her leg, but it did little to soothe the firey agony beneath.

Kekechoi

Small pup was running from home as a game. She wanted her brothers or sister to come try and find her. She raced into the eskers and saw the old wounded one. She bounced over hyper and happy that she got away. She knew mama would punish her later but oh well....

"Hi how are you? Whats wrong you dont look so good" she saw a butterfly and pounced after it but stayed near Catalpa to hear what she said.

Catalpa

Catalpa rumbled slightly at first, still in a bit of shock from the whole ordeal. The old fea calmed though, seeing as Kekechoi was only a youngster, "I've broken my leg." The wolfess responded, attempted to stand, but then giving it up and sinking sullenly to the ground again. She watched longingly as the pup played, remembering back when she was a pup. "It's awfully dangerous to run about on your own." Catalpa remarked after a moment, "Isn't your family near at hand? I can't scent them."

Kekechoi

Kekechoi sat down as the butterfly flew away from her. Letting out a huff she came and lay near Catalpa. "Mama and Dad dont know i left im playing a game!" she smiled not knowing how much worry she was causing Moon Spirit. "Why dont you go see the Lady? She helped Aaka. She could help you to!"

Catalpa

Catalpa smiled faintly, lowering her head and averting her gaze, "It would make no difference now." The old wolf said softly. "My teeth are worn and my body is tired." She looked to Kakechoi now, "But tell me, what is your name? It must be fun to be a pup... to play and be carefree." Catalpa smiled more warmly and rested her whitening muzzle on her forepaws.

Kekechoi*Moon Spirit

Kekechoi smiled and was about to say something when a sharp yet gentle voice stopped her. "Kekechoi!" the small pitch black pup turned to the white form of her mother Moon Spirit. Closely behind her was Abamacho with a smirk on his face. His sister was in trouble and he knew it.

Moon Spirit was not well known throughout the land. Her sister however was well known. Aaka was the white shadow of the land, feared by many. Moon Spirit was one who fought only when forced. Finding her pup sent relief through her but she was immediatly put on edge seeing another wolf with her. Expecting trouble from the female she said in a polite voice "hello I am Moon Spirit who might you be?"

Abamacho stalked over yo his sister his face showing his glee. Only for her to hear he hissed "Your in soooo much trouble" he saw his sister wince and took it in with intense pleasure. She would deserve the punishment she got from mother later

Catalpa

Catalpa looked to Moon Spirit, offering a small smile as well, "My name is Catalpa. It's nice to meet you." She thumped her tail against the ground in greeting, but didn't get up. She didn't want her wounded leg to be noticed, although the scent of blood was there.
