Blind
A white female wolf came trotting towards the large male. She could tell he was there but she couldnt see him. She was the arctic wolf Blind. As her name stated she could see nothing. No shadows. No color....No light. She smelled the large male though and stopped near him. "Hello. And who are you?" she asked kindly. She didnt show it but she was related to the harsh and cruel female wolf Aaka. The Betrayed Shadow.
Gladiator
Gladiator kept very alert and aware of his surroundings, and knew that the wolf was approaching long before she reached him. He waited patiently however and acted like he did not notice until she was turning into his little secluded spot. His body went slightly rigid, like it always did when he met new canines, as he studied the new female. It did not take him long to find the major characteristic of the lady
Blind! She is blind! Gladiator has never seen a blind creature of his own kind out of the… the place that shall not be named. He would have a field day, as she spoke he did not move out his sitting position. Though he stood much stronger and in a more protected stance then most dogs, he was still full aware of how many wolves thought all dogs could be taken advantage of.
But he was polite, and never saw the reason in hiding much once someone showed enough interest for asking it. Hello there, I am Gladiator. Would you grace me with your name? His voice was deep with full maturity and wisdom, well thought and polite words were all one heard from him in most situations. Eyes set on her dull ones, he waited for a reply.
Aava & Esprit
The quick and swift alphess gracefully walked over the rolling eskers. Her bushy tail bounced and flopped behind her, and was still held high. Dangling in her mouth was one of her pups. Esprit let out a small and outragious snarl when she seen Blind. Of course she had never met this wolf before, and she appeared to be blind.
Aava shook the pup lightly and quickly bounded around the esker to find Gladiator. She stopped and looked at Blind. Her tail was still held high even when she sat. Her brown optics searched and scanned Blind. She dropped Esprit to the ground carefully and she curled and fell into another deep sleep.
Aleu
The wolf mix caught the voices of the others, and it drew her to them. Her ears perked forward as she neared the esker that was in her view. She carefully walked around it, looking around. Then once she saw them, growls emitted from deep in her throat. Her tail swayed low to the ground. Her blue eyes looked from one to the other. Then, finally relaxing, she sat on her haunches and looked to the dog. She sighed. "Hello." she said to them. She quickly added a mental note that one of them was blind. Her ears casted outward, and her tail lay idly behind her.
Aaka*Blind*Moon Spirit
Two more females also white in color trotted over. Both alphesses. The kinder looking of the two said "Blind there you are. Weve been looking for you my friend." Blind turned her Gaze in the general direction of Moon Spirit. "Moon! How are you? I havent heard from you since you were a pup. How are you?" The first one smiled warmly. "I am fine." she caught sight of the others and said in the same warm voice "Hello I am Moon Spirit. Who are you?" she asked.
Blind held her tail up not in dominance but in beyond happiness. She was finding those that she hadnt seen in a long time. She turned towards Gladiator "I am Blind." she said softly. She then stiffenend and turned. "Aaka? Is that you?"
The other white female lowered her head protecting her throat. She was a fighter through and through and didnt like being around so many. "Yes Blind its me." She said in her cool winter wind voice. She looked over at Gladiator noting his size. He would be good in a fight. She then saw Aava and nodded. Then she saw Aleu. She froze and nearly growled but stifled it. Somewhere in her mind she had seen the female before. She just couldnt figure out where.....
Gladiator
Another approached, oh great, what do they think this is? A party? Everything would be better once I know he is safe. Gladiator jumped up on his feet when yet another female approached, was that all that lived here? Females? Instinctively his throat began to rumble at the newest way of approaching.
Scary it was, and unexpected for a dog most wolves would say. As soon as the other growled the dog’s entire body bristled, almost doubling his already awesome size. Low set tail some how found it’s way pointing towards the sky, legs stiff and head low over his throat. His teeth were framed in a very skilled, but killing way, almost every white, deathly fang pronounced as they clenched against the growl. All happened in an instant the other growled, the moment she threatened his safety, and in turn his friends, and all was faced upon her. He did not move from his spot however, and as soon as she subsided, he did.
Strange he was, always mirroring another’s expression. The newest sat and growling stopped all together, and his body slowly, almost reluctantly, relaxed. His mouth was still formed into an evil snare when she spoke. What was this? First she growls then she tries to bring up friendly conversation? he was dangerous in the state he was in, overprotective was a way to describe it.
Though body was almost completely relaxed, his eyes still narrowed as they bored into hers. Hello. He did not say anymore, he thought he proved his point anyhow. Two others were approaching. There were five females now, three alphas! And most seemed to know Aava. He glanced at her, eyes still narrowed in concern.
He took in bits of information as they were given in their greetings. The one was called Moon, a friend of the blind, who was actually named Blind. Then the full name was given, Moon spirit it was. He knew the words were partially spoken to him, he did not reply. Too many wolves, flashbacks began tormenting his mind.
Blind spoke, just stating the name he already assumed, he still did not reply. Eyes soon moved over to the last, Aaka it seemed. At first glance he knew her to be a fighter, and saw she was as uncomfortable as he felt. Her eyes briefly went by his profile, he stood still, almost if stuck in time. He could not react to all at once. Surveying eyes followed the fighter’s gaze, she seemed to be content with all, except the one that growled. He knew she was about to growl, and he bristled slightly, but it never came. He watched the two for a few moments, but still he did not speak.
He took a few steps backwards, so he could see all and he could smell the air without so much wolf scent inference. His friend was still in no sight or scent, safe for now at least. Orbs moved one to another, narrowing here and there. Who could he trust with his... his secret?
Aaka
Aaka stiffened up as the large male growled. She wasnt sure if she liked him or not. He growled she growled back. Her unerving yellow eyes were dancing like demons hiding what was truly behind them. The pain the anger....The hoplessness.
"Aaka. Do me a favor. Stay quiet." Moon Spirit said in a somewhat harsher tone. Aaka looked about ready to attack her own sister but she said in her cool wind voice "Oh but Moon Spirit. I have stayed silent. Now...Run along home. Take care of those pretty little pups of yours." underneath those words was a threat. Aaka was known for being ruthless. But she didnt want to kill the pups. She would have someone else do it if nessacary.
Blind turned her head back to Gladitor unaware of the dancing eyes and fighting stances. "So tell me my friend. How are you today?" she was the oldest out of the three females being 6 years of age.
One last was to come. A large wolf hybrid male named Jake. "Uh...Moon Spirit. Azul wants you" he said in a quiet voice. He was a golden retirever wolf mix. Not the best of fighters. He left quickly tail held low afraid of Aaka and Gladiator and all the others
Gladiator
Family relations did not seem to be very strong between the two sisters. He caught the threat very quickly and narrowed his eyes again; he might have just found himself one of the killers. Sure, Gladiator was a fighter, but not by nature. He wouldn’t dream of hurting a pup, not unless it was at his throat of course. He knew how to protect himself against most creatures, but he was never one to start a fight.
The sightless spoke, obviously unaware to the tension in the air. Well, at least she did no want to hurt anyone; she did call him her friend at least. How am I? A good question, he had to think about that one. He knew what he was; stressed, somewhat nervous about his friend, tired, and crowded. Eyes found the ones not meant to see, his face amazingly relaxed despite the fact fights may break out any time. His vocals was clam as well, deep and somewhat distant, I will be fine, he glanced at the party again, Strange it is, I would never of guessed that just walking into a foreign land would surround me with lady wolves, and a male hybrid I suppose.
Senses just told him of another approaching. Timid he seemed to be, and he watched him in silence as he gave his message and departed, he did that rather quickly he noticed. He looked over at Moon Spirit for her reply, maybe he will be left in some peace… not that he minded company, but too much of it (and strangers to put on top of that) was over rated.
Aava
Aava's fur stood on end at the sight of the others. She, however, immedietly relaxed. She sat and tilted her head. This could become very confusing. Of course, she herself was a fighter, but never intended to aim everything at humans. Then seeing all of these wolves, it sparked something in her memory. She hadn't seen Vivek in a long while. Her mate seemed to have disapeared, but she wasn't clearly worried. her other two pups didn't seem to be around either. She indeed hoped they were all alright. She let out a small sigh. She hoped her brother wouldn't show up. There were enough here already. She did never meet these other wolves, a least she couldn't remember. She was then, protective. Her tail was raised high. Never had she ever expected to see so many wolves in one place. It was very distracting to her. Her eyes started to turn cold as she looked and scanned each of the wolves. Esprit angerly growled. She wasn't much of a pup anymore. Her growls and snarls sounded even more furious now she was no longer much of a newborn anymore. Neither were her brother and sister. She turned a poisinous glare to them before quickly rising to her paws, tail held low, swaying over the ground. Aava never really expected her pup to act like this when she was older. Both evilness and good seemed to run in their viens.
Aaka
Moon Spirit nodded as Jake left. She turned to her sister and said in her warm voice "Why is he always so shy?" Aaka just shook her head as Moon Spirit trotted home to the Sedge Creek Territory quickly.
Aaka was tense. To tense. Even when her best friend Ammon Showed up she nearly snapped at her. The border collie was unphased by Aaka and said in a monotonus voice "I found Al Sheratan. What would you like me to do?" Aaka pondered this a moment. "Tell her I will speak to her shortly. Otherwise do nothing." The border collie nodded to her and everyone else and left quickly. Not afraid but not liking others. Thats what ammon meant. Hidden.
Aaka bristled and raised her tail like Aava. She was an alpha. Not used to it quite yet. Not sure she liked it. But oh well. She must act her rank.
Gladiator
Gladiator glanced at the pup as she began to growl again. Aye, it is a little crowded here ain’t it? Moon Spirit left, now only three of the unknown were there. Don’t get him wrong, in a different circumstance he would have loved meeting each of them, at different times that is. But the last thing he needed was a big crowd hanging around.
The Border collie came and went and Gator sighed. Look, Aaka, Aleu, Blind… do not take offense from my comments. I am sure you gals mean well. But what is it you all want? Obviously, hardly anyone here likes big crowds, I must confess, I am one of them, so what’s up? Did I stumble across a meeting ground or something? He was a bit blunt, but it was true. Everyone seemed to be growling and fussing, and in his eyes he was here first. But if this was some kind of territory, he was at fault. Confusing wolf ways were.
Body status was not threatening, though he saw both alphas try to live up to their rank. His whole body basically gave off one idea, he had a true question. He really did not know why everyone was here. He didn’t think, not even in his wildest dreams, he was that exciting.
Aava & Esprit
Aava looked from wolf to wolf. When the Border collie came she stared at it. What was a Border collie doing in the wilderness? It was far beyond her. She couldn't do anything but sit there and wait. She knew anything could happen now. She wasn't at all sure of this. She was used to being around bigger groups. She actually enjoyed it, but still she pulled in her head to protect her neck if one would just happen to attack, for what reason though. Aava wanted to take her pup back to the Pyrola Fields. She could get this into a mess, but she wouldn't move. Her eyes were set on those around. Even though she was stitting, her tail was still high. It pointed straight up. She yawned. She wondered why these other wolves came here.
Esprit only continued growling. Now even the hairs on her face stood on end. Her tail was raised. She was clearly frustrated at this. A loud snarl escaped her maw somehow.
Aava ignored it. What else could she do? She couldn't hush her like the humans always did, she wouldn't listen with this party. She in fact seemed suspicious. She wanted to say something, but she didn't know what. She stayed in the sitting position, but unpatiently waited for reactions from everyone about each other.
Aaka
Aaka watched all of them. She was tense. Not liking this situation she got up quickly and looked for a good excuse to leave. Finding none she sat back down with a soft growl. Aaka glanced at the small pup and said softly "hang on a sec I have someone you would like to meet" she let out a bark calling another pup.
Enola raced up to Aaka. She stopped quickly seeing another pup. Immediatly the small pup went tense her head down eyes narrow. It wasnt submission. It was more of a challenge. She let out no growl, no other signs that she was challenging the other. She wanted to see Esprit. See her like no one else could. She glanced at Aaka for permission to draw nearer. She wasnt used to Aakas customs.
Aaka smiled at the pup with a mothers fondness. This wasnt her pup. It was actually her brothers that she had.....Stolen. There was no other word for it. She had Taken Storm and Kachinas pup.
Gladiator
A heavy sigh came from the beast as it seemed that no one heard him, and didn’t seem to want to anyway. He watched another pup come over, though eyes watched over the pups, he had no interest to them. Just looking at them for something to look at. Suddenly a strange breeze carried over the dog, tugging playfully at his mane. Out of habit, he raised his noise to it and took a whiff. The news it gave was shocking, at least to him.
He immidantly stood up and turned himself around, he was in the wrong spot. He knew that dog scent anywhere. Though not turning he spoke, almost thoughtfully, My apologizes, but I must depart. Without waiting to see if they heard or a response, Gladiator was in a mad lope, out of the Eskers in almost a blink of an eye.
