Aaka

Injured white she-wolf moved slowly across the land her once bright angry eyes now looked different. They looked hurt and betrayed. She had thought Spirit was her friend. She had been the first wolf to even come near her without being angry. Aaka was so sad and deppressed she didnt even see anything. She was limping severely now. She hadnt gotten her shoulder looked at after the fight. Now it always hurt.....perhaps someone would guide this white one to someone who could help her. But who would help a lost soul thats been betrayed? Maybe for the last time. Maybe she should just go straight to the Silver Glades pack and tell them to kill her. She would just tell them to kill her quickly. She was already in enough pain.....

Ninaki, Kenyon, & Pirqua

The little welcome party had hung out at the Silver Glades to be sure every former member of the Silver Glades was driven out. They at first waited for Aaka and the rest of their pack to show to celebrate, but two unfortunate events came about, among other things. The rest of the Shadow Lurkers headed for the Alleys after Yersinia was attacked by some strange brute. And before they could respond to that, Pirqua had returned to them and was strangely ill.

Ninaki headed steadily over the ground with the sickly falcon perched on his back. Kenyon trailed at his father's flank. "Aaka!" The beta Shadow Lurker barked, approaching her quickly, "We've been searching for you! Congratulations on..." he trailed off, sensing something was obviously wrong besides her wounds, "What's the matter? You need rest..." Kenyon stood silently behind his father. The large, mellow dog was the most kind-hearted of his siblings, and concern showed in his features.

Pirqua looked fleetingly at Aaka. Her eyes were contracted and her breathing was oddly swift. But aside from her slightly stooped posture, she didn't seem sickly otherwise.

Aaka

She glanced at Kenyon and shook her head "I dont need rest." no. She couldnt sleep. If she slept there would be dreams. And she didnt want dreams. Dreams were bad and could hurt you. She saw Pirqua and said softly "Zhener is the same way. Zhener the Wedge Tail eagle of Moon Spirits pack. Aaka smiled softly and said "Everythings going wrong latley." she had only been to the packlands once. She didnt like staying there alone. To many memories in one packland. All on one thing. Her best friend had betrayed her. For the first time her eyes showed emotion. It wasnt a pleasnt one. Bitter and cold hatred. "Next fight we kill her and Cortinarri. Even if we let Cortinarri live Spirit dies." her eyes died once more and her face was soft. "You should go get Pirqua looked at. All of the birds lately havent been right and I dont particulary like it." she looked into the distance and saw mountains. She wondered how high she could get...how hard would death be from falling?

Ninaki, Kenyon, & Pirqua

Ninaki gave a soft sigh, contemplating things in his head. Aaka seemed like a another wolf there pack had known, even though she had been an enemy. She had attempted suicide more than once before, and now she was dead of unknown causes. Ninaki didn't want the same thing happening to Aaka.

"We will kill her, don't worry." he saw her looking towards the mountains but couldn't be sure what she was thinking. Still, he feared the worse. "Maybe it would be better if some of our pack moved into the Silver Glades for a short while? Until you found some new members?"

Pirqua turned sharply to Aaka, "Zhener?" she panted out, short of breath. "I hate that blasted eagle. I hate the lady too... I don't like confinment."

Kenyon looked up to his feathered friend, also worried about her. She had a snappy attitude about other birds which he often found quite funny, but right now he was not in a merry mood.

Aaka

Cool as a whispering wind a new voice came to Aakas mind. She smiled coldly and said "Ninaki where is the Silver Glades pack staying?" this was close to comitting suicide and she knew it. But she had something important to say to a few of that pack. And for all she cared the Silver Glades could have the pack back. They could stay there with Aaka being alpha for all she cared. Even if Aaka had them as enimeis in her pack....but then again she could let Cortinarri completly have the packlands...they werent much use to Aaka. She just wanted to let it hang over her head that Aaka had given her the packlands back....

White she alpha of the sedge creek Moon Spirit appeared and growled andgrily at Aaka. "What part of YOU NEED to see the Lady dont you understand?!?!" It was true that Aaka should see the lady....but she was so stubbrun it was amazing. "I dont want to. Me and Pirqua are the same. I dont like confinment." before another word could be said Aakas Best friend Storm Warning appeared in his usual silent mood. He muttered "Sorry Aaka" and grabbed her by the srff of her neeck and began to drag her into the direction of the Ladys farm. Both Aaka and Storm were looking at Ninaki and the others for help.

Ninaki, Kenyon, & Pirqua

He thought a moment, "Some headed for Ghost's pack, and some for... oh, I think it is the Avalanche Grove?" his words were uncertain, for he wasn't totally sure. Pirqua had scouted after battle, before she had gotten sick.

The beta's ears perked up suddenly with the arrival of two more, "Hey, wait!" he ordered in a sharp bark, taking a few brisk steps towards Aaka and Storm. "It may be dangerous to go there!"

Kenyon looked up at his dad with a quizzical expression, wondering what he meant by that. But before he could ask, Ninaki went on, "Our enemies were wounded in the battle. They could very well be there too. Besides... there are safer places to go." There was something else on his mind about Aaka's safety, though he didn't want to bring that up.

Pirqua looked about at everyone without a word.

Aaka

Aaka stopped breifly before saying "If you care that much meet me at Ghosts terra. Ghost Walker will be there if anything happens. I dont need that terra. They can have it. But it will always be a reminder that I am a better leader. For I know the meaning of cruelty and kindness. Cortinarri does not. Really Im not going to get myself killed. Trust me. I will call if anything happens"
