Winters Night
She finally arrives and makes sure all the pups were safe. She also waits for Nightcrawler. She sees her alphas and yips a greeting then pads over still making sure the others are following.
Aliyyah and Lily
The alpha smiles when she sees her pack, howling for them to come over. A bigger smile was when she saw her children, "COME!" she barked.
Lily smiled and yipped, running over, "wow! what is it?" she says, speaking of the dead musk ox..
Tahirah, Neva, Warrior, Kivo
The four pit bulls bounded in after Winters Night. Kivo was just about to dash over to the musk ox, but Tahirah sprung in front of him with a warning look, "Wait, Kivo. You always rush into things. Just wait now until mom says it's ok."
Neva nodded her approval, "Yes, and you should also wait for your superiors." Although she was no wolf, she had an uncanny instinct for a pack life. She glanced over at Aliyyah and Tornado.
Nightcrawler
The wolf followed after Winters Night and the pups. He was fairly anxious about meeting the alphas because most of the wolves he had met weren't too nice. He turned to the side slightly so that his broken leg and ribs on one side weren't so obvious. He then dipped his muzzle and tail down and nodded to them in greeting. He wasn't about to approach the food yet, even though he was very hungry.
Winters Night
She smiles at her pups. "Yes Neva is right. Wait till they allow us to eat." She says. She looks to Tornado and Aliyyah. "This is Nightcrawler. He would like to join the pack. Hes a friend of mine who protected Kivo when he wandered from the den." She says smiling at Nightcrawler and grins at the last sentence looking over to Kivo.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah looks at Nightcrawler, it was obvious he was hurt, but sense he had protected Kivo she didn't mind if he was apart of the pack. Nodding her approval she looked at Tornado, he would have the last say.
Tornado & Vivek
Tornado studied the new wolf for a moment before giving a nod, "You've helped one of the pack's pups, so you've already proved to be a good member. Welcome to the pack." Even if Nightcrawler hadn't helped Kivo, Tornado would have accepted him.
Vivek bounded over to the ox while holding his tail stiffly, showing he was a bit unsure about the huge creature. After glancing at his parents, who didn't seem scared of the ox, Vivek relaxed. Being the alpha's pup, he didn't think twice before he began to eat.
Tornado thought a moment, wondering if he should have the others wait. There was plenty of meat here to feed the pack, yet he knew there needed to be a hierarchy between the members to keep order. The alpha held his tail up and gave a glance to Nightcrawler; he would wait for now. As for Winters Night and her adopted pups, Tornado would let his mate decide. And after he was done eating, he would wait for Nightcrawler to eat his fill before returning to the pack. He noticed the wolf was injured, so he would make sure no one would attack him.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah smiled, "Welcome to the pack" she said kindly. She saw that Tornado was going to let NightCrawler eat last, and she nodded. Then, looking back to the others. Winter's Night had pups and was a trustful pack member. She nodded, she would let Winter's Night and her pups eat after Tornado, their pups and herself ate. Turning around, holding her tail up high she walked over to the food and began to eat..
Lily watched her mother and brother eat; Then, she walked over to the ox and ate beside Aliyyah...
Nightcrawler
"Thank you." Nightcrawler replied lightly while dipping his head to show his gratitude. He was just glad for acceptance to the pack, and was perfectly content on waiting his turn. He slowly laid down now to wait until he could eat.
Twister
The wolf had heard the howl and sauntered through the eskers until he reached his pack. He acknowledged his pack members with a friendly nod before looking to his brother. He hesitated then stopped. Twister figured he should wait his turn as well, so he padded over the others and looked towards Nightcrawler, "Have you joined the pack? I'm Twister."
Tornado & Vivek
Tornado finished eating and padded a short distance away from the kill to lay down. He glanced toward Twister and Nightcrawler; they would wait until Aliyyah and Lily were finished eating.
Vivek finished too, and grabbed a hunk of the ox's shaggy fur and began to run around with it and shake it from side to side.
Nightcrawler
"Yes, I just joined. I'm Nightcrawler." The wolf thoughtfully at this new wolf before catching the look from Tornado. He was still satisfied just waiting, and would do just that even when Winters Night, Twister, and the other pups ate.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah finished eating and walked over to her mate, laying down beside him....
Lily ate, after she finished she chased after her brother, trying to grab the fur from him...
Twister
"Nice ta' meet you." Twister replied to the new pack member. Seeing that his alphas and their pups had finished, Twister sauntered casually over to the kill. As far as he was concerned, he didn't think he need to wait for anyone else to eat, nor did he care who ate with him. Hungrily, the wolf set into the meal.
Winters Night
She didn’t mind either who ate with her. She looked to her pups and yipped. "Ok now we can eat." She said> She went over and ate her share then backed away and cleaned her maw.
Tahirah, Warrior, Neva, & Kivo
The four bounded over to the kill and began to eat as well, bolting down their food very quickly. Kivo was the first to finish and he scanned the area for a moment before setting his eyes on the alpha pups. Grinning, he charged across the ground and attempted to grab the fur as well, to create a three-way tug-o-war.
Neva was finished next, and decided to pester her other brother, Warrior. As he ate, she nipped at his tail and bounced away before he could catch her. After about a minute of this, Warrior gave up trying to fend his tail from his sister and resolved to tackle her.
Tahirah finished eating and grabbed a small piece of bone from the ox, and was satisfied with lying down and chewing on it.
Twister
Twister finished eating and licked his muzzle clean as best as he could. He still had a rather playful personality, so now he looked for someone to play with. A grin came to him as he casually approached the two wrestling pit bulls. Without warning, the wolf suddenly sprung at Neva and Warrior and tried to catch Neva by her scruff and lift her up. His tail waived in a playful manner even though his growling sounded fierce.
Nightcrawler
With everyone done eating, Nightcrawler took his turn and ate rapidly. Once he was full, he moved a few yards from the kill and laid down, fully stretched out on his side. A full stomach made him drowsy and forget about his pain in his side and leg. Now he could rest, feeling secure with his new pack.
Tornado & Vivek
Tornado smiled at his mate before looking back at his pack. He was perfectly content now. Their pack was fed and healthy, everyone was getting along, and the pups were playing. All seemed well.
Vivek snarled to sound his toughest, but waived his tail to show it was all good-natured. He tugged back when Lily and Kivo caught a hold of the fur. He wasn't as strong as Kivo though, and was starting to be dragged by him, despite his best efforts to pull back against the pit bull.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah smiled and nuzzled her mate. She then turned and watched the pups play.
Lily snarled playfully and tugged at the fur...
Tahirah, Neva, Warrior, & Kivo
Kivo tried to make his snarl more vicious sounded than the other two, but was prone to giggling because he thought it was funny trying to make a fake snarl. He made a broad grin as he began to tug Vivek across the ground. Suddenly, the pit bull thrashed his head from side to side, trying to get the fur from the wolf pups.
Neva gave a yelp at first, surprised. But she quickly recognized it was only Twister, so now she gave a playful snarl and tried to bat at him with her paws, since she could reach him with her teeth.
Warrior nipped at his sister's tail now, but then turned his attack on Twister. Growling his fiercest while waiving his tail, the dark-hued pup rushed at the wolf and tried to leap up and clamp his teeth in the ruff.
Tahirah chewed on the bone for a while, then stood up. She spotted Nightcrawler lying down unsuspectfully and grinned. Keeping low to the ground, which wasn't too hard anyway, she crept over to the wolf. Once she was close enough, she sprang at him, ready to land her front paws on his neck and set her little teeth into his ruff fur.
Twister
He struggle to keep his head held up while holding one pup and having another hanging from his ruff. He finally dropped Neva, then shook his whole body, trying to make Warrior lose his hold on his ruff.
Winters Night
She smiles but then a thought comes to her mind. Everyone wasn’t here! She pads over to Aliyyah and Tornado. "Has anyone seen Sierra? She’s been gone quite a while." She says hoping her fellow pack mate was ok.
Aliyyah and Lily
She looks at Winters knight and nods, "I haven't scene her" she said worriedly, what if something had happened to her?
Lily snarled and pulled, she put all her weight into her pull, shaking her head as well...
Nightcrawler
His eyes had just closed to rest when Tahirah pounced. He was quite startled when he felt someone leap on his neck, and he almost snarled. But the wolf checked his actions and realized it was only a pup; no one attacking him for real. It took a second longer before Nightcrawler realized it was Tahirah. Giving a small grin, the wolf rolled onto his back and reached his muzzle over to try and grab one of the pup's front paws. He hadn't played in a long time, so it was worth it to tolerate the pain in his side and leg.
Tornado & Vivek
Tornado shook his head, "I haven't seen her for a while either." He frowns slightly, "Maybe we should look for her if she doesn't show up soon."
Vivek tugged his best, but was still no match for Kivo. Getting a sudden idea, Vivek grinned. He tugged back as hard as he possibly could, then released the fur.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah nodded, "yes, but hopefully she shows up soon.."
Lily was flung backwards when her brother let go. She tumbled down the hill. Standing up she raced back and tried to tackle Vivek...
Tahirah, Warrior, Neva, & Kivo
Kivo tumbled backwards as well, but clutched onto the bit of fur. He picked himself up and pranced around while shaking the bit of hide happily. He caught sight of Winters Night and a sudden thought came to his mind. Dropping the fur, he bounded over to her, "Mom, can we go to the mean dog's pack? We need to teach him a lesson!" He tried to sound tough about it, but was honestly scared of Legosa.
Tahirah shook her head from side to side, gripping the wolf's ruff. Then she began to nip at his muzzle and ears, trying to free her captured paw.
Warrior held on for all he was worth, and even began to shake his head from side to side to try and pull the wolf down. Neva also leapt up to grab the other side of his ruff.
Twister
Twister strained to keep his head up, but it was just too much. He finally collapsed and fell forward. Snarling his fiercest but wagging his tail, Twister rolled onto his side, but was careful not to mash one of the pups. Now he tried to grab Warrior's ruff between his jaws.
Winters Night
She nodded to Kivo. "Yes it would be time for that." She then looked to Aliyya and Tornado. She was worried about Sierra as well but would see to that later. "Would you mind watching Tahira, Neva, and Warrior while Kivo and I tend to something?" She asked. "If you don’t want to Ill just bring them with me or leave them at my den for I wont be long." She says. She then looks to Nightcrawler. "If you want to come you can." She says for she knew he knew what she had to tend to. She looked to her alphas waiting for their answer. "If you wonder what I have to do I have to go visit another pack to let the alpha know about her members behavior towards Kivo." She says. She wanted to let Black Fyre know that Legosa attacked her pup and Nightcrawler with out reason for she was angry that that had happened but grateful to Nightcrawler for help protecting Kivo.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah nodded, "Of course, you two go ahead, I'll watch them.."
Winters Night
She nods a thanks and picks up Kivo by his scruff so she could go faster and return quickly. "Ill be back soon. Tahira, Warrior, and Neva listen to Aliyyah and Tornado. Ill be back soon." She then exits the terrain with Kivo in her maw. If she returned here and the pack wasn’t here shed know to go to the pack lands.
Nightcrawler
He hesitated, wondering whether he should go or not. He thought about Legosa, Mitya, Target, and the others then, knowing they could attack Winters Night and Kivo and there would be little getting away from them. Might as well go along; he had met Black Fyre before anyways. Nightcrawler released Tahirah and picked himself up, "I'll be back soon." He followed as quick as he could after Winters Night and Kivo.
Tornado & Vivek
Tornado watched as the three left, hoping all would go well. He now back on his haunches and perked up his ears more. If they should get attacked and call for help, he would hear it.
Vivek was just about to charge at Kivo before he left and hadn't noticed Lily. With a startled yelp, he was tackled and tumbled over the ground. The pup quickly realized who had attacked him and tried to scramble up with a playful snarl.
Tahirah, Warrior, & Neva
Tahirah watched Nightcrawler leave before she looked around for someone else to play with. Her other siblings were attacking Twister, who seemed busy enough. Aliyyah and Tornado weren't doing anything at the moment though. Tahirah walked casually towards the alphas before she suddenly sprang at Aliyyah's tail and grabbed it. Tahirah wagged her own whip-like tail and growled fiercely.
Warrior tried to pull back, but Twister had him now. He began to swat and kick out at the wolf, trying to get free.
Neva began to bite randomly at Twister's head and ruff, trying to help her brother get free.
Twister
He clentched his jaws together just enough to firmly hold his captive, but not hurt him. He tried to sheild his face with one paw as best as he could while he swatted at Neva with the other one.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah smiled at Tahirah, she gently grabbed the pup by the scruff and tugged gently so she didn't hurt her, "Gotcha" she said playfully, her tail wagging. She let the pup go and grinned, standing up she looked at Tahirah, "Would you like to play tag?" she asked, it had been a while sense she had played but it would be fun.
Lily grabbed at her brother's ear, tugging on it...
Tornado & Vivek
Vivek shook his head, growling all the more when his ear was grabbed. He patted at his sister's face, then nipped at her ruff.
Tornado watched as everyone played, feeling content still. Except for Sierra, who he'd search for later, everyone was alright.
Tahirah, Neva, Warrior
Tahirah yipped excitedly, "That sounds fun!" she suddenly rushed at Aliyyah to tag her before whirling around and running, "You're it!"
Neva was struck by Twister's paw, and clamped her teeth down on it instead.
Warrior continued to struggle and kick out at Twister while growling his fiercest.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah laughed and ran after the pup, but not to fast so that she wouldn't catch up to her.
Vivek had grabbed Lily's ruff and she snarled playfully at him...
Twister
He tried to pull his paw away from Neva, and finally released Warrior. Now he tried to set her jaws around Neva's scruff.
Vivek
Vivek suddenly sprung away from his sister and gave a broad grin, "Let's help Neva and Warrior get Twister!" Without waiting for a reply, the pup wpun around and ran for the wolf. He gripped his tail and began to pull on it.
Lily
She giggled and ran after him, grabbing at Twister's leg...
Warrior, Neva, & Tahirah
Warrior quickly got a grip on the back of Twister's scruff, very near his neck. He growled and shook his head from side to side.
Neva tried to back off, but was caught by Twister too quickly. She tried to pull away from him.
Tahirah ran as fast as she could while looking back now and then to see if Aliyyah was catching up. The pup reached the top of an esker and lost her footing as she ran over some loose sand. Now she went tumbling down the opposite side of the large sand mound.
Twister
Beset by four pups now, the odds were against him more. But he was determined to wear the pups out before they wore him out. He stood up quickly so that Warrior either fell off him or hung, clinging to his ruff still. He dropped Neva and tried to spring forward, which may bring him more harm than good. If Vivek still held to his tail and Lily still held to his leg, then they just might make him trip. If they let go though, they were in for a chase because Twister was ready to run from them.
Aliyyah&Lily
Aliyyah saw the pup fall and spead up, catching up quickly. She ran hard a fast down the sandy hill and grabbed Tahirah, running back up the where the others were.
Lily held on tight, she wasn't about to let go..
Vivek
He held tight as well and growled to show his determination. He shook his head from side to side.
Tahirah, Warrior, & Neva
Warrior gripped tightly to Twister's ruff even as the wolf stood up. Although he was still a pup, he had the strong neck and jaws muscels of his breed.
Neva picked herself up quickly and chased after Twister happily. She bit at his legs to help trip him up more.
Tahirah wagged her lengthy tail and nuzzled Aliyyah, "Thanks for catching me! That was a steep hill!" The pit bull looked over at Twister and couldn't help but grin. Like the others, she couldn't resist attacking him. Dashing over the ground, she sprung up at his side to help knock him over.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah smiled and nudged her. She watched the pup go off and play and smiled, keeping a close eye on all of them..
Lily held on as tight as she could, shaking her head from side to side...
Twister
With five pups on him, Twister didn't get far. Lily and Neva caused him to stumble and Tahirah finally made him tumble onto his side. Again, he was careful not to smash any pups when he fell. Growling, he made fake snaps at Tahirah, Lily, and Neva. He kicked lightly at Warrior with his front paws, and at Vivek with his hind paws. He tried again to get up, but it would be hard if all the pups still had a hold of him.
Lily
Lily let go and giggled at him, she jumped and tried to tackle Twister...
Vivek
Vivek yipped excitedly, happy that they had managed to bring the wolf down. Now he released his previous hold after being pelted by a hind paw and plundged forward to try and seize the fur around Twister's throat, above where Warrior had a hold.
Tahirah, Warrior, & Neva
Warrior held fast to his grip, refusing to let go even as Twister hit him with his front paw.
Tahirah clamped down on one of Twister's front paws to try and stop him from hitting her brother.
Neva got a hold of the other paw, trying to imobilize the wolf.
Twister
He was just about to get up again when Lily tackled him. Once more, the wolf fell to his side. This time, both his front paws and his neck was were being mauled by pups which made it exceedingly difficult to get back up. The puppy teeth couldn't do any real damage to him, but it was unerving to have them at his throat. Knowing it would be rather difficult to get all the pups off of him, Twister had an idea. Suddenly, he just went limp and closed his eyes.
Aliyyah and Lilly
Aliyyah watched them play and smiled. She looked back to her might and nuzzled him happily..
Lily let Twister go when he went limp and looked at him, "What wrong with him?" She asked the others..
Tornado & Vivek
Tornado smiled as he returned his mate's nuzzle. He glanced at his brother and gave a grin, "Looks like we have a pup-sitter to watch the pups when ever we need." Then he thoughts went to the wolves that had left, "I hope all is going well with Winters Night, Kivo, and Nightcrawler."
Vivek released his hold and nudged the wolf. "Uh..." he trailed off and glanced from his sister to the other pups, "Maybe we played too rough with him..." Timidly, the pup crept over to Twister and nudged him, "Twister...?"
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah laughed and nodded. She was a bit worried about Winter's Night,Kivo, NightCrawler. "I think there'll be fine" she said...
Lily looked at him worriedly, "I..I don't know, Twister?"
Tahirah, Warrior, & Neva
The three soon release their hold on the wolf and take a few steps back. They look anxiously from pup to pup. "I hope we didn't hurt him..." Neva said nervously.
Warrior stepped forward and tugged on Twister's ear, hoping to get a response from the limp wolf. Then he backed off again.
Tahirah tilted her head from one side to the other, "Maybe he's sleeping?" she knew that probably wasn't true, but she didn't know what else to suggest.
Twister
He waited a moment longer; barely breathing and with his eyes closed. Without warning, the wolf suddenly scrambled to his feet and burst out into a flying run, away from the pups. "Tricked ya all!" he barked at the pups before slowing down. He grinned widely now, waiting to see how they would react. All those little puppy teeth biting at him got aggrivating, but he was more than happy to put up with it.
Lily
Lily fell back and scrambled up. A suprised look was on her face but she soon burst into giggles. She walked over to him and smiled, "You tricked me Uncle Twister" she said slowly, not sure if he wanted her to call him that, but he was her uncle...
Vivek
He bounded over to the wolf, laughing, "Yeah, you tricked us, Uncle Twister!" Hearing his sister call Twister 'uncle', Vivek decided to as well. "Wrestling is fun, but do you know any other fun things to do?"
Tahirah, Warrior, & Neva
The three also made their way over to Twister, wagging their tails happily. "That was a good joke!" Tahirah piped up then glanced from Vivek to Twister.
Twister
He grinned widely when they called him 'uncle'. He liked that name. "Sure, I know a bunch of fun things to do!" He looked from pup, pausing before he spoke to build up their enthusiasm, "I bet you've never gone fishing before, or hunting. I could teach you how to do those things; if your parents don't mind." he said the last part after dipping his head down to the level of the pups and speaking in a whisper. Brining his head back up, he added on, "Of course, there are many more things I could teach you."
Vivek & Tornado
Vivek bounced around now infront of his uncle, "That sounds like fun!!! Lets go do that!" He didn't know quite what fishing was, but if Twister said it was fun, Vivek decided it must be something really fun. Hunting also sounded like fun.
Tornado tilted his head a bit and glanced at his mate, "I wonder what they're talking about over there." Now his gaze flickered towards his brother and the pups before returning to Aliyyah, "The pups seem rather excited about something."
Tahirah, Warrior, Neva
"Lets go do that!" Tahirah yipped, wagging her tail. The others were just as eager to go, although none of them knew what fishing was yet. None of them had hunted either.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah smiled and nodded, "whatever it is, there excited" she said with a laugh..
Lily bounced around and nodded, she didn't know what fishing or hunting was but it sounded fun!
Twister
"Good, it'll be fun! Follow me." He padded over towards his alphas while dipping his head down in respect, "Is it alright if I take the little ones hunting for fish?"
Tornado & Vivek
Tornado raised an eye at his brother, "Well... where would you take them? It must be safe of course." He glanced at Aliyyah, seeing if she approved of the idea or not.
Vivek pranced his front feet excitedly, "
Tahirah, Warrior, Neva
The three trotted over Twister, all wagging their tails eagerly. They looked at their alphas, hoping that they wouldn't mind if Twister took them to hunt and fish.
Tahirah, Warrior, & Neva
Suddenly the excitement left Warrior's face. His fur bristled slightly, "Kivo's in trouble!" he said suddenly after hearing his brother howl.
Tahirah heard as well, "He's calling for us! We need to go help!"
Neva whimpered slightly, worried. She also heard the howl; it was coming from the No Wof Zone below the the Ochotona Mountains territory.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah stood up, she had heard the howl, "Tornado, we need to go help" She said in a hasty way.
The excited expresion left Lily's face and turned to a worried one...
Tornado & Vivek
He sprang to his feet. He didn't want the pups to come along, but if Kivo and the others were in trouble, Tornado figured the whole pack needed to go and help out. Looking to Lily and Vivek he spoke quickly, "Follow us, but please stay back behind us so you don't get hurt." He dashed off to the No Wolf Zone.
Vivek was worried as well, but followed after his father.
Twister
He quickly followed after his brother.
Tahirah, Warrior, & Neva
The three followed quickly after their alpha and Twister.
Aliyyah and Lily
Aliyyah nodded, "Stay behind us and don't wonder!" With that she fallowed her mate...
Lily nodded and fallowed worriedly..
