Moonstar
Moonstar walked here with her sister.Sniffing the air she didn't smell any other wolves.Sighing from walking all the way here from the canyons she layed down.Ears down she rested falling asleep.
Midnight remained awake though.Watching for any danger at all.
Aava
The white wolfess had been through a considerable amount throughout her life, whether she's want to admit it or not. Losing her mate and a daughter so long ago, going through a rather long couple years of 'temporary insanity', ditching her territory in the process... Finally, the old her was back. Well, not quite. She had once been a nasty fae anyway, till she met him... Now she was just rather silent and stood back to watch.
The wolfess, former alphess of the Pyrola Fields, was taking a quite stroll along the eskers. Her head was being carried high while her tail waved behind her. As she made her way down one of the numerous eskers, her brown eyes caught something in the near distance. Two other wolves. Ears pricking, she trotted towards them, observing them as she eased to a halt a few yards away. She looked at them, silent, once again at a loss of words in her life.
Midnight
Midnight growled softly when she spotted the fea comming toward them. However it was to wake up her sister only, and not toward the wolfess."Hi,"she said barking a greeting. She was uncomfortable, but didn't let it show however. All she had left now was her sister, and she refused to loose her too.
Moonstar woke up from the growl.Blinking sleep out of her eyes she yawned.Looking at the white fea she smiled. She could be quiet when she wanted to, and now was one of those times.
Aava
Aava wasn't quite aware of her stance, she had kinda let herself go over the last couple years. Just going with the flow nowadays, though she was looking much better. She aimed to keep it that way. Just lead a simple remainder of her life, she'de tell herself. Well, it was tougher than it seemed.
The wolfess watched the other two, her curiousity barely evident. She had learned to hide her emotions well. Where did they really get you? She hated the pain she'de endured over the years, and even these days it would come back every now and then.
She gave a small nod. "Hello." Short and simple, straight to the point, just as she saw fit. She slowly took a seat on her slender haunches and seemed to study them. "Beautiful day." she then decided to say. Better not get them thinking she was some crazy fae. She didn't need that stuff again.
Moonstar
Moonstar rested her head on her paws."Yes it is.I'm Moonstar and this is my sister Midnight,"she said.Ears flicking she saw that the fea held her emotions in well.Hm maybe she could do that when she got older. However was not the time.Eyes were warm and soft as she looked to the older fea.
Midnight smiled at the other wolf."I don't mean to be rude, but may i ask what your doing here.It dosen't smell like a lot of wolves come here,"she said. She meant no harm, but just was curious.
Aava
Aava watched the pair, an ear flicking. "I'm Aava," she replied, giving her tail a flick. She felt rather content here, for the first time in her life since... Then.
Sighing deeply, her white pelt twitched a bit as she gave her head the slightest tilt at Midnight's question. Oh, Aava had a good reason to come here. It was to grieve, and even relive the past if she really wanted to. Her eyes suddenly took on a dark shade, though she wasn't at all angry. "I come here on my own terms." she stated, turning her head to look out across the eskers. They were so tall and powerful these days. Somewhere, just somewhere out there, his bones were scattered about. Suddenly a pang of guilt hit her, but she ignored it to the best of her abilities. She wouldn't let a thing show in front of these faes. Her eyes began to lighten up now as she looked back to the sisters. "So..."
Midnight
Midnight smiled at Aava even though she had a feeling that she was trying to hide something."Me and my sister just came here. What about you,"she asked having no problem about changing the subject.
Moonstar growled a warning at her sister."Midnight it really isn't none of your buisness,"she said even though she was curious herself.
Aava
Aava looked at the two faes, a glint in her eyes coming back. She had thought of these things numerous times. About her first and well, only mate, her family. She would need to go find her remaining daughters. There were only two of them and they always seemed to be together. She had to tell them she was better now and there would be no need to continue running.
Sighing deeply, she gave her pelt a brisk shake and then rested her eyes on the feas once again. She then slightly nodded her head. She could practically sense the curiousity in them. She had kept all of this bottled up for a long time. No one else knew. It couldn't possibly hurt to just give a detail or two... Not even?
"My mate was lost in a war here, years ago." she simply stated, no more hurt left in her voice. She figured that couldn't bring her pain now. That old youthful glint in her eyes was slowly fading though, evident of something lost long ago; a simple leftover of what once was but was no more.
Midnight
Midnight smiled at Aava quietly. However when she said she lost her mate it went away.Getting up and approaching the fea head and tail low she layed down beside her.Trying to give the older wolf some comfort."I'm sorry for your loss,"she said.
Moonstar nodded her head too.Eyes still warm, but just a tinge of sadness in them for Aava."Do you have any other relatives,"she asked glad she had her sister here with her.
