Drainblue

Draineblue's umber brown voids scanned the Canyon. She was far from home, but actually quite proud of herself. Humasn could be decitefull, her s-called 'family' of two dumped her at a low, dirty, scummy, nasty, scary trash yard after their baby arrived. Was she trash? It felt that way, like the uncoditional love had been repelled by her two-legged. She was adopted promtly, securely(not),happily by a newly wed couple. Who often went hiking, walking, boating, everything. Togeather. With Draineblue by their side. No,no, Blue wasn't going to give up on humans, she missed them and wanted them. But she couldn't stay with the junkyard peeps. Cruel, throwing things' complete fools, honestly.

Her auds lifted just slightly, cranium snappedto look behind her, hearing some birds. Her fore appendages slid out from underneath her, with ease. Her now dry, calessed padsslid aginst the rock dryly. She missed her home, her people, her food. Her neighborhood pals. And her siblings. Why couldn't she just have stayed on the farm with all the other great dogs? And her siblings...Oh how she missed her sister and her brother. A small liter, a very tight liter. Mother. She missed her mother a great deal. Wait. She figured she could miss them, and still love them. But she needed to move on, and not forget them. But to carry on her life. Even as a'ferel' or almost ferel dog. She felt ferel, her coat was dingy from laying in dirty areas, and swimming in unclean lakes. On the bright side. Wherever she was, it was beautiful. But so many smells, more spells than the garbage cans downtown. Eek!
Harks lifted, then settled. Her profile rested on the side, sprawled out slightly. She felt comfortable for some-reason odd enough. Her banner wagged a couple times, finding peace in the moment. Her eyes cotinued to dance over the place at the angle that she layed. A sigh escaped her,a very animated one. One thought to come from a human. But no, just Drainblue, just...Drainblue.

Now, there was nothing to suggest that he was any different then all the other arrogant pricks that wandered the land. Nothing! Not the way he moved, not the way he spoke, not the way he acted. To everyone else, he was just another new comer. But, unlike everyone else he was a new comer with a purpose. He had started a pack, a pack that would soon bring down the Shadow Haunters and put the Valley at peace once more. His tail wagged at that. Yes, he sure did like the sound of it. His coat was that of solid ebony, and in the light it shown with highlights of blue. He lifted his eyes upwards, to find himself at the Eskers. Huh, he'd never seen such a place. Climbing one of the sandy dunes, he grinned. He was in excellent shape. Muscles clenched and bunched beneath his coat, his eyes were alight with mischeif and fun. HE couldn't help but smile. Those eyes of his though, they were enough to give you pause. They seemed cut horizontally, one side of them being silver and the other being a deep red, a shocking combination it was. His laughter rang out as he scared a bunch of birds, ptarmigans to be exact. Then his eyes lifted, and he saw another. She was not a wolf like he, but she was a canine so that was good, yes? Baphomet came trotting forward and stopped a mere five feet from dear little Drainblue. In a slightly reprimanding tone he said You know, its not safe to be out here alone. Theres a lot of things out there that would eat you just because you look like a tasty meal. One could just drool over his voice. It was deep, and it hinted at things of darkness and lust with a hint of an unknown accent. But then he smiled. It was warm and gentle, and he said I'm Baphomet, whats your name?

And among the schemes
And all the tricks we try to play
Only dreams will hold their sway and defy

Drainblue

Simplitic melody carried on endlessly. Her voice was clam, sweet, and seren like-peanut butter. Ah,yes the joys of peanut butter. Everyone, almost evryone loved peanut butter. But some were oddly allergic. Optics swept over the male wol. Her cranium lifted quickly, gathering her dark colored appendages beneath her as quickly as she could without becoming a rubber-band ball. She sneezed...great. I look like a puppy! Minds twisted and bargained with her.
"I'm Drainblue,Baphomet. A pleasure to find...someone out here?" She asked questionably. For he seemed incredibly at ease, and friendly. Auds lurched forward, thinker tilted to the side. For a house dog, there was nothing homely about her./

Baphomet

He gave a grin at Drainblues words. I've been out and about all day, trying to get familiar with the valley. Quite hard really, its just so big! And what about you? Although his name suggested evil and darkness, there was no such thing in his voice that made it sound as if he was. Not until you looked at his eyes. They seemed restless, as they wandered to and fro. There was a darkness that lie inside them, but it was hard to detect it had been hidden for so long. Only when something when terribly wrong did he allow that inner evil to shine, but right now he was getting to know a lovely young female, one he would like to know for the end of time. His banner waved a bit. He looked nearly like every other black wolf, unless of course you missed his eyes. But why on earth would you wish to do that, they were so spectacular. He gave a grin. Yes, maybe she would join him and his pack, and what greatness that would be!

Drainblue

Drainblue nodded as he spoke. Youthfull voids watched the ebon-dipped wolf. "Well, I've been scanning the area as well." She said with a sweet grin, voids danced away for moments, looking around at the sandy dunes, with a hint of sparkle to them. "I'm new to the valley, maybe not...Like you said, it's so big. You'd think it's endless."
Drainblue nodded, to herself. Bad habbit. She hadn't realy had anyone to conversate with. Only herself; so she, herself, and her; got along well.
"Do you lone..Or do you have a pack hidden somewhere in this beautiful place?"

Baphomet

He gave her a grin at the mention of a pack. Yes, I do have a pack. We are called the Ancient guardians, and you see the only reason I know where it is? He looked towards the mountains, that were half covered in mist. We live up there, so high up there. Theres a place that humans made, just for those who wanted it. Its magnificent! But then something in his eyes became dark, and he said in a soft tone I wish that I could say the reason I have a pack is because I wanted one. Indeed, that is not how it is. There is another pack here, a pack so evil that it kills the innocent. They kill, then ask questions later. One of my friends, they killed her sister believing that she would betray them. So, I am here now to help bring this valley to peace once more. He gave a shrug, but then he grinned at Drainblue. A girl could melt for a smile like his. Do you want to meet my pack? Maybe even stay with us?

Drainblue

Gentle, ablidging nodds were given as he spoke of his pack. It sounded very plesent. Like a hidden place. Then a she spoke about the killers. That bothered Drainblue. Her multi-colored coat was shaken, releasing hints of dust.
"I hate murders. I'd love to meet you pack!"

Baphomet

He gave her a bright smile. Alright! At least you know we shan't get lost, eh? He began to move away, a frown of concentration on his face. His pack was growing, and growing swiftly. Perhaps he would call a meeting so that everyone could meet everyone and not attack on accident. He turned to see if Drainblue was behind him. Lets go, m'dear Drainblue. From the mountains, if the clouds are not out, you can see the stars and nearly grasp them in your jaws.

Drainblue

Darinblue was a romantic. The thougt of touching the stars, if not keeping oe for one's reasure. Thatd be fantastic.
Her long-agaited appendages led herto dashing behind Baphomet. With an eager trace in her voids. You could tell she was excited.
"To the mountains!"
She woofed, her banner wagged behind her in steady, neat strokes of joy.
