Bosco

The rottweiler limped downtown finally making it away from the shack. He felt bad leaving hallie but she had set him free so now the rottie was here looking for food.

Dyani

A copper hand reached out and steadyed herself with one hand as she carefully balanced the box she was lifted up on the top shelf. Her feet were a little unsturdy on the ladder, and her black hair was in her eyes. She impatiently puffed a breath to send the hair flying up, which of course immediately set her staggering on the ladder, and the lock fell straight back down in her face. Letting go of the box, she grabbed a hold of the shelf with both hands until she was firmly on her feet again, and then slowly stepped down the ladder. God, she hated heights. With a low curse, Dyani Ayita headed back out to the storage bay, heading out through the door to the alley in back to through away the trash she'd accumlated unpacking boxes in the little convenience store.

As she tipped the trash into the dumpster, her eyes landed on Bosco. Holding her hair up in a ponytail with one hand, she got down on her knees and made soft cooing sounds, hoping to attract his attention.

Bosco

Bosco stopped at the sudden noise and watched the human. He limped right over to he and sniffed her hand.

Dyani

I can't love you enough to let you go
I can't give you enough to keep you here
Didn't you think I needed you
To hold me close and dry my tears
If I can't remember why you came
Why should I care why you left?
I'm content to let you love me...
As long as you don't leave me.

She smiled and clicked her tongue to him, rising to walk slowly into the storage bay. After all, this was a convenience store. She had dog food. She walked straight to the correct aisle and pulled a couple of cans of moist dog food down from the shelf. She headed upstairs to the attached apartment and pulled a kitchen bowl from her cupboard, and then returned to Bosco in the bay. With an efficient air, she opened both cans and dumped them into the bowl. He was a bit skinny for a rot, but then he looked like a stray. No collar, no tags. So she gave him both, smiling and letting her soft voice come. Well, go ahead then. Chow down.

Bosco

The rottie watched her and waited curiously and then saw and smelt the food.As soon as she put it down he went right at eating all of it.His little stubby tail wagging.

Dyani

She gave a small huff of air through her nose that was almost a chuckle and clicked to him again, this time allowing him to follow her into the store and upstairs to her apartment. As he came up she arranged a pile of blankets on the floor for him to sleep on, she put down a bowl of water and, after some consideration, another bowlfull of food. He'd scarfed what she'd given him... that meant he probably hadn't eaten in a while. No harm in letting him have seconds... just this once. She left the door open, in case he needed to go out, or if he just didn't want to stay, but the preparations she made would tell him that he was welcome to stay if he wanted.

Bosco

for now he would live here with this girl atleast till he figured out a way to save his master.Sniffing the blankets and then eating the food put down he drank some water and then curled up to rest.

Dyani

As he settled, she gave a smile that was half pleasure, half relief. She sank down beside his little burrow and began to stroke him, a soft, steady, soothing touch as she began to talk to him, murmuring all kinds of nonsense in her soft, sweet voice.

Bosco

He yawned and let his head rest upon her lap but he still missed hallie.
