A small dog, a Papillon, strode through the downtown area. His bushy body hopped along with his jog, little tongue dangling over the side of his lower jaw. He looked at every human and dog as he went by, having no fear of them. It was the unchained dogs that he must worry about, anyway.
Turning down a new streets, avoiding the humans now, he darted back into a wide alleyway. There, he propelled his small body with his hind legs and sailed up, landing elegantly on a large wooden box. Taking a seat, he looked around. He felt like he knew this place already. With a wide yawn, which probably seemed too wide for his mouth, he lowered onto his belly and curled up.
Elsie scurried out of a house, vanilla ice cream around her mouth. She launched herself over the chain link fence and landed on the sidewalk. From there she ran down the street. She stopped in the very alleyway that Loki was in and looked up at the dog. Not wanting to disturb him, she foolishly jumped on top of a trash can and knocked it over. "Oops..." The kitten said. But she was not one to miss out on a good opportunity, so she hungrily snacked on some leftover fish.

The small canine had since dozed off into a peaceful sleep, something he hadn't done in a good while. He was at a new land, with new animals. What did he have to worry about? Sadly, that was his downfall. Then the trash can clanged loudly against the hard ground, startling him out of his nap. His large butterfly ears twitched and he quickly looked toward the source of the impending sound. A... Cat? CAT! he barked to himself in his mind, before he was quickly on his tiny paws and leaping to the ground. He then started at the feline, who was probably just smaller than him, salmon tongue lolling out of his mouth as he neared the creature...

Elsie lifted her head as the walked closer. She stepped back, tail fluffed and back arched. "W-What are you doing?" She asked nervously. She had no problem with dogs, as long as they didn't come too close too soon.
A door opened, a slener blue eyed blonde made little clucking noises. Watching the staircase which was very close to her front door; down the stairs plopped a small dog. Quite small. No ong than a foot. Her little banner wagged quickly behind. The two-legged fae swished her hands out infront of her. Holding a phone on one should, dome presed aginst it. Quick, little, strides lead the fem outside. Her large optics studied the shutting door, tinker tilted momentarily. Her little nails clicked aginst the pavement. Not missing a beat. Trusted. Yes. She strode down the sidewalk, her ebon audits flincing. She heard voices. A cat's voice. Her mighty prance led her to two creatures, who seemed to be speaking to each other. One sounded scared. Ah. Yes. The cat! Her audits raised quickly on her little dome. Watching the two with anxiety.
A couple sharp yips escaped the small muzzle of the psyched Pap as he dashed straight for the cat. Although she was just a bit smaller than him, he held no fear. He had lived with a cat before, or a kitten actually, which was quite fun if you like to wrestle with claws sticking in your flesh.
Suddenly, though just in time, he skidded to an abrupt halt, just a couple feet from the feline. His little nose was going wildly. He hadn't played or talked with anyone in so long, it felt as though he would lose his voice altogether.
As he took the cat's scent in, he suddenly gave a loud sneeze and wrinkled up his nose. Something was irritating his senses.
His now poofed banner waved excitedly behind him, as he once again went to sniffing at the feline. "Who're you?" he asked quickly, voice rich with youth. However, he wasn't a pup. Just a simple little Pap with nothing to do.
Elsie leapt up onto a box and hissed. "Don't come closer or I'll scratch you." She warned, eyes wide with fear. She calmed down only a little when Loki spoke. "I'm Elsie. Who are you?" Her tail still looked like a bottle brush, but her back was no longer arched.
Loki didn't take any heed to the cat's words, only only continued to try and sniff at her. He may not be exactly what you'de call a 'cat expert', but the kitten he lived with was one wicked creature. His auds twitched then as she spoke her name, and he simply titled his head. What kinda name is that? he asked himself, banner waving high above his back. "I'm Loki!" he stated with an uppity tone of voice. His small form then took a seat on the chilly floor of the alley, staring quizzically at the feline. Now she was up on a box, like he had just been, right before she startled him awake. He looked at her with that elegant yet cute face, wondering what she was doing up there.
