She could be found padding down the street and glancing around. Her ears were dropped completly as her tail still as she did not give up hope yet. *I am so sorry my little ones..* She thought to herself but knew they probabley weren't so small anymore if they still were alive. *Warrior, Neva, Kilo, and Tahirah where are you?* She would think to herself and continue her search, though she was alert for humans, afterall she probabley was still wanted dead by the ones who may recognize her for all the trouble she caused them in the past.

The white pit bull was scrounging around next to a toppled trash can when he spotted the wolfess from the corner of his eye. His tail instantly dropped and tucked between his legs, for he wasn't much of a fighter. He'd rather make friends. Slinking submissively around the other side of the trashcan, Kivo peeked over and studdied the wolf, wondering if she looked friendly or not.

He was about to return to his meal when a memory awoke in his mind. Then the wolf's scent drifted his way, backing up the faint memory. 'Winter's Night'. The name echoed through his head. It had been so long ago, but he remembered her now! Scrambling from the trashcan, Kivo forgot his manners and came barreling towards Winter's Night, his tail lashing around and his tongue lolling from his mouth, "Mom! Mom!" He barked enthusiastically, still seeing her as his mother figure.

She lifted her head at hearing his voice then glanced in that direction to see Kivo barreling towards her. She immidiatly ran towards him as well and stopped beside him licking his face a few times with her tounge befor nuzzleing him. "Kivo! I am so glad your ok... I thought I would never see you again..." She was overjoyed.

"Me too!" He yipped back, his tail wagging so fast that his back end was shaking along with it. When he was excited, he sure let it be known! He nearly melted with the licks she gave him, and felt like he were a little pup again back at the Parnassian Meadows. "Mom, how have you been?"

"I have been well but worried about you and your siblings. All I have done recently is searched for you all and I am terribly sorry I had not found you sooner. Are any of your sibling still around?" She asked but the last part held deep concern in it hoping the others still were alive as well. She licked Kivo on the face once more glad he was near again.

His tail was still going a mile a minute, but his ears drooped down a bit, "Warrior.... he was killed by Legosa." Kivo dropped his head still further, "Neva is caught, and I don't know where Tahirah is." Now his eyes welled with moisture, but as he looked back up at Winter's Night, the sadness was lifted away a bit.

She drooped her ears at hearing Warrior was dead. But then she glanced up at Kivo at hearing Neva was caught. "Well perhapes Neva can be saved... and Tahirah I am sure she will turn up.. I am glad your ok though." She said trying to sound reassuring, she wanted to reassure Kivo and herself. "If you want we can try and save your sister now... any idea where she is being held?" She was worried about Neva's saftey right now.

Now it was Kivo's turn once more to look glum, "I've tried, Mom... she'll kept under lock and key, I'm afriad. They keep her in the Pit most of the time, but every now and then I see her taken to another house." The pit bull frowned, deep in thought. "I think the only way to save her is to wait until they take her to that house. Maybe."

She gave a small nod and nuzzled him reassuringly. "Well then... I suppose that plan could work." She gave a faint smile though she was a bit worried for Kivo's safety if they were to try it. "When the time comes to try and save her I won't hold it against you if you want to stay back, I don't want you to get hurt." She told him softly. She didn't want Kivo getting caught in her attempt to help Neva, afterall she was fearful of losing him as well.

"I won't back down, Mom." He assured, trying to sound as brave and confident as he could. The pit gave a quick look around him before starting his next sentance, "Have you found a home here, yet? I'm afriad that I haven't really... unless you call this place a home!" Kivo gave a laugh lightly.

She shook her head. "No not yet... but this place does not seem fit for a home. Perhapes we can join a pack somewhere or find some unclaimed land." She lifted her head and sniffed the air looking around. "Kivo.. what happened to the old pack. You know Tornado and Aliyyah, Tornado's brorther Twister, Sierra, nightcrawler, Vivek, Lily, or any of the others? Are they still around?" She asked with some hope. Of course she hadn't forgotten them all either.

He looked half reluctant as she said the names, "Twister was killed, by the human at the Ranch. Sierra, Lily, and Aliyyah have vanished as well." The pit bull hung his head, then looked up suddenly, "Nightcrawler still lives in the Valley. He dwells in a pack to the far north, along the Ochotona Mountains. As for Vivek and Tornado.. I've caught their scent here and there, but I do not know where they are. The pack has split." Kivo sighed heavily, then shook his head, "I bet we can find them though! They'll be glad to see you again, I bet!"

She sighed softly at hearing the news but hope shimmered in her eyes when she realized some were still around. She smiled and wagged her tail. "Yes perhapes we can. That would be something to smile about." She then paused for a minute contemplating wheather to attempt a rescu for Neva first or find Tornado, Vivek, and Nightcrawler. "Hmm I think we should save neva first... everyday that she remains at the pit her life is on the line." She said a bit sorrowfully, yet she waited to see what Kivo would say first.

Kivo dropped his head sadly, thinking of his sister. "You're right mom." The pit bull plucked up his courage, sticking his chest out and lifted his head once more, "We can go now, if you want. I'm ready for it."
