Fetale soon woke .She walked out of the dog house and stretched.HEr leg had healed over night quiet nicely and now she only had a small limp.She went to the water bowl and drank some water and then started sniffing around her new yard her tail up high.True she was wolf and it was very unuasual for a wolf to be this calm.

salsa:she slept on.

After a while, the man came outside again, carrying the wooden bat with him. He smirked as he saw her tail held high, Good, a dominance streak. Tidus thought. "How about a name for you?" he said out loud, watching her investigate the yard. He wanted something that spoke of power or... something. But nothing yet came to mind, so he stood there and simply watched, waiting for an idea to pop up.

And while he stood there, he waited to see what reaction she would have to him. He had to make her learn that he was the boss.

When she heard him she began to growl and bare her fangs but didnt go near him.She went back to the dog house to protect salsa.

salsa:she had just awaken and stretched.

He laughed a bit at her growl, happy she had good spirit. Now it was time to begin some basic training. Pulling out his whistle, he gave a sharp blow through it and held out a piece of meat in the air, waving it a bit to get Saluki's attention. If he was going to allow her to wonder around in the wild in between fighting, he needed an easy way to get her to respond to him.

She heard the whistle and saw the meat but grew worrie.She bared her fangs and remaind away.

salsa:She yawned and watched.

His eyes narrowed and he whistled again, waving the meat around in the air, "Come on, get over here!" he growled out angrily. "You aint gettin' nothin' else to eat." The man didn't have a lot of patience, nor much care for his fighters. His eyes flashed to Salsa next and he waved the meat in her direction, "How 'bout you? Want some?"

She growled and began moving toward him.but she was on he rdefense.

Salsa:unlike her mother hse didnt fear humans too much and she ran straight for him like a puppy would.

He smirked at the pup and handed her the meat. Then his eyes flashed to Saluki and his teeth bared in another grin. He held out a second peice of meat for her to take. But she'd have to take it from his hand... he wouldn't toss it to her.

She grabed the meat and picked it up and trotted away with it happily.

saluki:SHe growled at him and new he wasnt just gonna throw it so she came right up to him and attempted to grab it from his hand.

"Ah, there we go." He muttered pleasantly, allowing her to grab it. He was mainly concerned with her biting him, which if she did, a good whack on the head by his trusty wooden stick would be her punishment. His eyes flashed towards Salsa and he watched her go. She was definitely easy to handle, but she'd need to be trained in fighting.

Saluki, on the other hand, was perfectly trained for fighting. It was handling that needed to be worked on. As he let her have the meat, he pulled out another peice and waited for her to finish the first. When she did, he had something that needed to be done.

She growled the whole time she was eating and when she finished she justlie there growling at him.

salsa:she fell asleep again.

He gave a whistle and held out the meat. But this time, he held it very close to him. He needed her to get close enough so he could inspect her wounded leg.

She got closer and the wound was clear.It was still there but only small now.She had cut it open a couple of times but that was no big deal.She tryed to get the meat.She still had a limp as well.

He pulled the meat back just out of her reach. Setting down the club for a moment, he reached over to touch her leg; carefully of course. He just wanted to make sure that it didn't feel swollen or anything. And most important, he needed Saluki to allow him to touch her, so that after fights she could be treated without muzzling or tranqing her every time.

She didnt snap at him when he went to touch her but growled lowly in her throat in warning.

Again he smirked, greatly pleased that she allowed the touch. Now he gave her the peice of meat and stood up. "Now get, scram! Go get healed up." Tidus grumbled, finished with the bit of training. In a few days, Saluki and Salsa might have a new friend staying with them. And Saluki may be released into the wild for a short while; but of course, Tidus would catch her for the next battle by using the tracking chip.

she took the meat and ran off with it.

He stood and walked back inside. His friend should be here any minute now anyways.
