Ghoul
A white figure stalked toward the small city, the darkness was his best friend, but was not the best for hiding in for him. He stuck out like a wisp of hot air on a cold winter day. This did not detour him, instead, he walked into town as if the territory was his for the taking. He soon moved to a small ditch on the side of the road, it was filled enough to wade in.
He lowered his body in the cool water, letting the cool liquid wash through his belly fur. Lapping the water and then looking up. Wondering if Black had caught his invite. He smiled, feeling a bit foolish, but he was truly interested in her. He just hoped it wasn't her being in season that was bringing all of this upon him. He shook his head, and with it, that very thought.
Black Plaque
Black had been reprimeneded by crucifix but had caught the invite and had waited a few seconds before getting up and following his scent. She watched him by the water for a few seconds before approaching him her tail held equal to her body.HelloShe spoke softly.
Ghoul
Ghoul had his face in the water, just up to his nose so that he could breath. He barely caught Black's scent before she spoke. Surprise was something foreign to Ghoul, he rarely felt scared, or caught off guard, and when he was, he usually wasn't scared. When she spoke, he slowly opened his eyes and looked up at her. Lifting his white head, water dribbling down his mane, he spoke in a calm voice. "Hello there, Black." He smiled and then looked at the water before him. "It's rather soothing in here, I've never really taken the time to just relax in water before..." He gave a half-assed smile. He truthfully never relaxed in water, the only time he ever stood in it was when the Haunters were backed in the corner of Dima's Temple.
Black
Black watched him carefully. She moved to stand by him and lowered her head to the water and lapped at it as he spoke.I can see thatShe spoke quietly watching him the whole time. She was like her mothers Identicle Twin.
Ghoul
As she spoke, Ghouls eyes closed once again. Heaving a long sigh before standing up. The water shed off his body like sand from a rhinos skin. Just the underside was wet, for he didn't feel comfortable enough to submerge himself further. Daunting yellow eyes turned toward the female, and he smiled at her. Haunches buckled slowly, and he took a seat in the cooling water. "It's really a shame that Rayne is so much like Risen, and yet..." He trailed off a bit, "I know he has the best intention..." He was starting to get lost in what he was saying, trying to form the words that did not come as natural to him as others. "I think it's a foolish thing to govern the instincts of the wild. But at the same time, my instincts tell me to be the strongest I can..." He looked away, not knowing where he was going. At no other time did the brute seem as lost and confused as this. Females weren't like males, and the attempt to court was much more difficult since he had never seen the practice himself.
Black Plaque
Black plaque had had a rather sheltered life. Her brother refused to let her ever usually be alone. this was the first. She watched him and moved closer and then sat down as she listened to him Both ears on him now. I've had a rather sheltered life my brothers always been overprotective and this is the first time he's let me go off aloneShe spoke calmly back. Her tail flicked.
Ghoul
The aging wolf sat attentively, lowering his front half onto the dry grown and leaving his hind quarter to be licked by the human drainage ditch. His ears were forward as he listened to her words. Another glowing smirk appeared on his mug as she spoke about being sheltered. "I think I am anything but sheltered, the only thing I have to complain about is the instincts my upbringing has ripped from me." He stared past her now, into the dim street light on the street above. The air was moving slowly and dawn could be felt just moments away.
"I believe I am protective too, but I wouldn't smother anyone against their will. Especially someone close to me." He said and smiled. The only thing Ghoul knew was fight fight and fight. He was loyal to his brothers, loyal to the Risen and her ways, and since her disappearance he could only do one thing... follow the one who reminded him most of her: Rayne. Even tho, now his instincts were trying to tell him to settle down. His natural fighting life was at its peak, and soon he would have to look to settling down and worrying less. But in Rayne's pack, he knew that would never happen. His place to die would be on a battlefield. With his blood in another's mouth, and hopefully with the blood of many others in his own.
Black Plaque
She knew her brother was like that but he was keeping their pack sheltered while in training. She listened calmly to him. That is a good qualityShe spoke not really sure any more what to say. Her tail flicked to the side and she looked around.
Ghoul
Ghoul continue to lay, but became uneasy as a scent came across his nose. He looked up to see nothing, then turned back to Black. "Do you smell something?" he asked, he wasn't nervous, but the fact that someone was watching them made him somewhat unhappy. Instead the white brute arose and turned around. Behind the bush, a flicker of light was caught before moving away. Ghoul Snarled "Show yourself!" but there was no response.
He looked back to Black, wondering if she had caught the scent as well. It was rather faint among the human scent, but he couldn't place quite what it was.
Black Plaque
Black stood up also at the smell and she moved a tad bit closer to Ghoul unsure of what or who was there.its not smart sneaking up on ot hersShe spoke her tail up and above her back now and her teeth bared in warning.
Vicious
At the sound of the two threatening him, a low chuckling sneer came from behind the thick brush. "It's not smart to challenge something you don't see either." the heavily scared brute pushed his way through the foliage. His chilling yellow eye striking both of them. Challenge both of them to even dare attack.
Ghoul set up a small array of warning growls to his father, but the only thing they did was make the oversized direwolf descent laugh out loud. "I hope you are not threatening me boy!" Snarled the gray wolf viciously.
Ghouls own growls quieted. Staring at the brute. "What do you want?" He sneered, trying to keep his anger down in front of the fea. Anger pulsed through his body.
Vicious wasn't the best father figure, but his children barely mattered anyway. It was instinct to breed, and instinct to dominate. Here he was, in front of a son he had seen all of maybe five times. "Just to say hello, see how my child is doing" Vicious' lips curled upward as his ragged body slung ever closer to the two, now standing just on the other side of the ditch.
Ghoul stood his ground, unwavering in his stance. "Might do you a bit of good to leave us alone." and at this threat, Vicious' light mood quickly turned around. His eye narrowed and ears pinned against his large skull
"You wanna say that again?" He roared quietly on his breath.
Ghoul stood his ground, but did not repeat his demand.
Black Plaque
Black watched as the brute came out. He was big. Unlike her father Kalaber she weighted in only 115 lbs and was made for speed but her jaw and back legs carried alot of muscle. She growled at the male unsure what to do or say and a bit frightened of him. So ghoul was his son? Her tail flicked as she moved closer to Ghoul.
Vicious .+. Ghoul
The one eyed beast stared at the two. "I should say my children..." He chuckled deeply to himself. His eyes now drawing in his great granddaughter . There was an crooked smile upon his tattered face as he watched the two become unusually close. "I see" He said with a dark menacing chuckle.
Ghoul's ear twitched as he mentioned the two of them being related, but they were so distant in relatives he doubted that there would be too much danger. Instead he grew closer to the female, stepping a firm paw between her and his father. "Come on Black, we should be getting back to the packland." He suggested, motioning for her to lead the way so that he could stay behind her just in case Vicious tried anything funny.
Black Plaque
Black stared at him longer. Now she saw the resemblence to her father this male had. it may be very distant but it was there. This was her fathers grandfather? Her father couldn't tell her much about him since Kalaber didn't really know him. She then heard ghoul.Yes that probably best Crucifix will be looking for me if i don't get back soonShe spoke not really wanting to turn her back on the male. if her father taught her one thing it was to not turn her back on someone like Vicious so she backed away.
Vicious .+. Ghoul
Vicious, a menacing gaze in his eyes that quivered with delight as the two had fear flooding their eyes, moved forward one step, and slowly lowered his head to lap the water from the human ditch. His single orb stared up at them for a moment, and then closed as he enjoyed the water. Growling gleefully as he did so.
Ghoul backed away as well, making sure Vicious wasn't going to try anything that all of them would regret. When he saw Vicious' eye close and nudged Black to run. He ran too.
Black Plaque
She watched him carefully. She kept backing away careful of her steps and as she was nudged she turned and ran fast.
