Baby, you wait here, ok? Someone is going to come by and you go with them, alright? My little head nodded as I stared up at my mommy. Where was she going? Why was she leaving me? why did I have to wait here for someone? couldn't I go with her? Mommy... she shook her head, and I could feel the anger radiating off of her. I am not your mother. she said angrily. Tears filled my eyes as she turned and ran away. why was Mommy running away from me? A sob escaped my lips. I was only three years old, and I was alone... So alone. I looked around screaming, but people passed me by as if I wasn't even there. Please, couldn't someone notice me? I didn't want to be alone anymore....

Itachi

Itachi had been out shopping for medical supplies so he could take care of the knife wound on his arm when he weatched teh whole thing. He wasn't really a caring guy but that didn't matter. He knelt down.Hey there, where's your mother sweety?He asked.

Her eyes looked up into Itachi's and he could then see that they were so, so different. One was that of the ocean, so bright and alive, while the other was the deepest of browns, and full of shadow and mystery. Mommy left me.... She whispered to him. then the toddler thrust her arms up, in the classic child's gesture of hold me. Wait. Mommy said wait. And I wait. and... Mommy said she wasn't my mommy no more. The tears continued to stream down her cheeks as she stared up at Itachi, her arms still raised.

Itachi

He was a bit uneasy with kids but he knew he couldn't just leave her here. When she gave the hold me gesture he hesitated and then scooped her up and held her.Well would you like to come to my place, I'm sure my family and friends would love to care for youHe spoke trying to be soft.His red eyes watching her.

Eden

Eden gave a smile, her tears fading. Ok. She whispered softly. She placed a hand to his face, and a whimper escaped her lips. They want to kill you. Her voice was a deadly whisper, her eyes slightly unfocused as if she had been sucked inside of herself. Should I have mentioned this before? Oh yes, I probably should have. But why did you think her mother wished so desperatly to be rid of her?

Itachi

He stood up holding her and then she touched his face and spoke. His eyes widened.What are you talking about kid? He spoke as he now headed back toward his home keeping a look out for the Volkoves or ATHA.

They're going to kill you. They will do anything in their power to make sure you are dead. She didn't sound like a three year old now, but someone much older. Then her hand fell, and she rested her head against Itachi's shoulder. sleepy... She mumbled.

Itachi

He listened to her but just shrugged it off as she became sleepy. What she spoke is like the truth but he wouldn't let her worry about that. She wasn't but a kid. He soon came to his house and went to it
