Shiver
Shiver had finally found the chance to get away from her human owner for once. She didn't even remember Bonnie taking her in. All she remembered was that one day she woke up and she was Shiver, the pet dog. She never remembered her mother, her aunt, her brother, her grandmother... All of those were gone. Occasionally, she saw a coyote in her dreams. A little coyote who informed her that everything is going to change. Unknown to Shiver, this coyote was her grandmother, Tahti.
The hybrid walked down the streets, probably looking just like a stray dog. She tried to stay at least five feet from every stranger.
Fenrir
Fenrir was confused, sickened and exhausted. Car fumes and exhaust oil did not assist his health, but Fenrir wanted to search this place upside down and every corner. He had to find someone that fleeted across his dreams, and coyote. Just like Shiver, it was Tahti, only it was his former mate. The thoughts that seeped into Fenrir's mind was, She must be alive, and can tell me who I am! Sadly, that dally was impossible, for Tahti had died, unbeknowenst to Fenrir.
Fenrir trekked down the barren streets, fitting in among the crowd of misfit dogs. Fenrir looked odd, a vibrant white wolf that was huge compaired to most wolves. Fenrir noticed Shiver, but did not really take heed to her. Though, she had some essence from her. Maybe she was just like Fenrir
Shiver
Shiver turned around when she smelled a wolf. She saw Fenrir. He looked so familiar, like somebody from a past life. She stopped there, staring at him, wide-eyed. Where had she seen him before?
Fenrir
Fenrir caught Shiver's gaze, and held it for a long, breath-taking moment. So fimiliar...those eyes?!? Fenrir stopped, blinking at her and trying to make sense of what was going on. Fenrir had ran into a pack of dogs a while ago, but Shiver didn't look like one of them. Fenrir tore his look away, sliding into the shade of a park pine tree. But he still watched Shiver, he still tried to make sense.
Shiver
Shiver stood there for a long time, finally working up the nerve to walk closer. "H-hello. I'm Shiver. Who are you?" She asked timidly. She had to figure out who this wolf was.
Fenrir
Fenrir looked at Shiver, cocking his head and watching her. "I'm Fenrir, son of the shadows, nice to meet your acquitance, Shiver," Fenrir answered, almost trying to say who his parents where. But he didn't remember, besides they were really two unimportant wolves in Alaska, one which was dead.
Shiver
Shiver nodded. "Greetings, Fenrir. I am the daughter of the tempest." This was all that she remembered about her parents. There was something about a storm. Her father was Storm Warning. "So, uh, what are you doing here?" Her mission was to find that coyote.
Fenrir
Fenrir loked up, thinking. "I don't know. I need to find someone, but I don't really know who they are. I know what they look like but..." Fenrir trailed off, looking up skyward and shuttering. "It's so weird, I don't know who I am...or where I came from. I just woke up on the Canyon, bloody and weak..."
Shiver
Shiver shrugged. "That's what happened to me, too. Only I woke up in somebody's house, bloody and weak, every bone in my body broken..." She sighed, but immediately met Fenrir's gaze. "You say you're looking for somebody? I am too, and I don't know who she is. All I know is that she's a coyote and she's got one eye." She was remembering Tahti, who had one eye.
Fenrir
Fenrir blinked, his blood running cold and heart beating heavily. "Its her! The one-eyed coyote!" Fenrir burst, looking at Shiver. "For some reason, I know you, but I don't know why!" Fenrir shook his head, trying to image Tahti again. Could it be possible, that the coyote he was looking for was the same one Shiver was.
Shiver
Shiver gasped, shivering. "That's weird, I know you, but I don't know when I ever knew you." She said quietly, barely able to speak at all. "Is it possible that this is the same coyote, that we knew each other and we knew her? All this seems more than just an amazing coincidence."
Fenrir
Fenrir shrugged. "I need to find her, she must be able to tell me who I am! I need to find out," Fenrir spoke, sounding more like a plead then anything. "I agree, their isn't just a thousand coyotes with one eyes walking around in this Valley that two dull-brained canines know about." Fenrir didn't mean to make that as a insult, but a easier way to say that both of them were clueless on their past.
Shiver
Shiver nodded. "We both need to find her." She added. "All I can remember from my dreams is that she's standing near a winding creek. But that's all I know. I don't suppose it means anything to you?"
Fenrir
Fenrir stood up, looking at Shiver squarely. "I don't know..." Fenrir whispered hoarsely, "But maybe we should look in nearby places. How about the city? I saw her in a dark place, by a building! Where do you think that suggests?"
Shiver
"Hmmmm..." Shiver looked around. "I'm not sure, but I think I saw an alley when I was coming here. Do you want to check there?" She suggested.
Fenrir
"Sounds plausible! Let's go!" Fenrir yipped, looking at Shiver with new hope. Fenrir closed his eyes, breathing softly. "Shiver, I don't think we met each other by coincidence. This coyote must've crossed our fates purposely..." Of course, Fenrir believed in that type of magic. Even though, everything fell into place by coincidence.
Shiver
Shiver didn't believe in coincidences. She had been told by somebody that everything happens for a reason. This wasn't just a coincidence. It was fate. "Alright, I'll take you there. It was...this way! Follow me!" With that, she ran off to the alleys.
